N. Less hate, in general I notice people hate more than they share things they like or cute ideas they have. More understanding of other people’s ships and perspective. That sometimes people don’t know any better and genuinely not understanding a character to the full length as you as someone who has read all of their comics and studied them intensely isn’t a crime, people don’t have to read every comic ever, we don’t have all that time.

I'm loving your passion for Bruce/Harvey and all the content you put out. They've been my Batman OTP for 20 years now. What was your gateway into the pairing? Mine was Teland's fic And All The King's Men (have you read it by chance?). I still read it on occasion to this day.

I've always casually shipped them as a kid when I watched BTAS coz my shallow babey ass always thought that Two-Face is a very stylish villain so it's only natural that my preferred Batman/Villain ship is TwoBats! It wasn't until 2 years ago when I started to deep dive into Harvey's backstory (thanks to my mom--which is a story for another day I guess 🤣) that I became very attached and sympathetic to the man though. And with that understanding of his struggles also came my appreciation for his personal relationship with Bruce.

AND OHHHH MAN!!! THAT IS A GOOD FIC INDEED!!! And if my ao3 bookmark is accurate, it was my first bruharv fic too!! Though for me the one (1) fic that still lives rent free in my head to this day is Unforgotten.

Can't remember if it were the fics first or if it had happened concurrently but the Telltame game was also highly responsible in sending my BruHarv feelings into overdrive.

much like bruharvey/twobats I am obsessed with Gotham specific riddlebird (I guess nygmobblepot but I hate looking at that word for unknown reasons) being something that never comes to pass despite not necessarily always being unrequited....I think I have issues. I love it when bitches have long relationships and rivalries rife with betrayals and ups and downs and a part of them must be hoping, surely, that THIS is the time it will work- But it doesn't. and time passes, and it happens all over again- things change, the world changes, they change- but somehow, that question will always linger between them, never truly answered. it's like a slowburn with no point, no reveal, no ending. they're in each other's lives and things will be left unsaid the day they reach their graves. you will always be grieving what could've been, but I suppose that's what grief itself is, further than in romantic contexts.....

Hell, I think I even make batcat a bit like this in my interpretations, though I think they have an actual romantic relationship at various points. Gotham city is just full of fundamentally lonely people who drift in and out. Whatever you have, it's not for keeps. No one is ever satisfied. That's part of the misery and desperation that's seeped into living there, if you were to view it as something of a cursed city....
