Ever since the meteor almost hit Midgar, the world hasn’t been in great shape. People lost their homes, people lost there jobs and became really impoverished.

Tseng just wished there was another Ancient around. Aerith sadly was long gone and so was there chance at happiness. If only there was another one….

Reno was sitting on the somewhat cheap couch while Rude and Elena were chatting near the window. Rufus was sleeping a couple rooms over.

“Do you guys know where Tseng is?” Reno asked while lazily moving around the small couch.

Elena shrugged. “He wouldn’t return my calls!” It wasn’t in Tseng’s nature to ignore them unless something had happened to him. “What if someone had done something to him!”

Rude didn’t comment. He didn’t think something horrible had happened to Tseng but it was incredibly strange for him to not respond to any of there calls. Tseng was a pretty much guarantee for a answered call!

Suddenly, the door opened to reveal a Tall Man and a small child appeared. It was Tseng!

Everyone quickly went to the door, asked if he was okay and… who was this kid?

Tseng grabbed the shy toddler and put them on his hip. “This is the next Ancient! I found them after the meteor fell. I believe they are Aerith’s.”

Everyone looked at him like he had lost it. He found another Ancient?? Like how??? More importantly, Aerith’s????

“How is that one Aerith’s?” Elena asked.

Tseng looked at the small baby and smiled. “They have Aerith’s look.”

Rude shrugged. “Ok…. But then who is the father?”

Tseng looked at small child, who was clinging onto him for dear life, and noticed that they have redhair!

…..And Reno has redhair.

Tseng looked at Reno, which Reno confusedly look at him back.

“What?”

“The child has redhair….”

Reno eyes widened then quickly turned to the child who was shyly trying to look at everyone.

Elena then gotten up Reno’s face and pointed her at him.

“You fucked Aerith!?” She accused.

“I-

“No wonder you were gone for so long! You weren’t just watching her…”

Tseng interrupted them angrily. “Enough! The child is already scared enough!” The toddler was trying deeply to hide into Tseng’s jacket, scared because of Elena’s yelling.

Elena stepped back sheepishly, while Reno still stood completely frozen.

Tseng wasn’t gonna deny it. The child, aside from resembling Aerith, also had a lot of Reno’s genes. Redhair being one of em.

“Well Reno… looks like you’re the father.” Tseng proclaimed.

The future was looking bright.
