a rather new japanese izakaya style restaurant near my neighborhood, decided to visit with my family to celebrate mother’s day. the menu has quite a lot of options, different kinds of japanese dishes and set meals to choose from.

i decided to have small bites instead of set meals - rainbow roll, california maki, tobikko gunkan, pork belly with baby corn skewer, grilled oyster mentaiyaki and grilled lady’s fingers.

the food takes a while to arrive when the restaurant is crowded, the service is quite efficient though as there are many staff around. the sushi and makis are quite nice, it’s fresh and portion size is okay too. the yakitori is grilled nicely, very flavorful and enjoyable.

the ambiance here is very casual, there’s also outdoor seating area for people who wanna drink and listen to live band. it’s a pretty okay neighborhood japanese restaurant, nothing too fancy but could satisfying japanese food cravings with lots of variety.

Hey Say Jump es el primer grupo de Jpop que conocí y es uno de mis favoritos.

Los conocí en 2020, con su canción banger nigh, y desde ahí soy tobikko.

Además conocí a mi Ichiban que es Inoo Kei.

Este grupo lo recomiendo,son muy talentosos y no solo por sus cantos y bailes, sino también por su actuación,ya que la mayoría de sus miembros son actores.

Me gustaría que algún día sean reconocidos,y de paso encontrar más gente que sigan a este grupo y/u otros de los Jhonny's.

Hi!! Thank you for hard work on LIPxLIP translations and general translation works as always! I saw you also translated HSJ’s Daisuki na Kimi E and I’m really happy to see a fellow tobikko who’s into Honeyworks too 🫶 I was just wondering if you’re planning to translate a song or a few songs from their PULL UP! album since I enjoy the songs so much but I can’t get to properly translate them myself, that is if you’re only okay with it though. thank you for your kind words, really. i rarely translate their songs because there are already several fans who do that...and i feel like there's no need for me to add my own. i only tl when i love the song, and when it coincides with my free time. though there are also exceptions, of course..

but as of the moment, sorry anon, i don't have plans to tl the other songs in the album. i could look at your tl, but i honestly don't think i can right now. it's not because i'm busy...(well, i am.. but i can usually still fit it in my sched.) it's kind of a bad time in my life right now and my anxiety has been quite in the worst lately. i'm still trying to get a grip, while dealing with a lot irl. i don't want to do translations half-heartedly or with my mind not in the right headspace... so i hope you'll understand.

have you tried taking a look on this twitter though? here too. if not there, on other accounts or on livejournal? usually the people there are more active. sorry, if i can't provide other links. i'm not very updated with JUMP's activities currently.

sushi noya, cheras traders square.

was here for lunch last month, the restaurant has been here for quite some time and my friend recommends it. they have lots of variety on the menu and a conveyor belt and train for sushi as well.

ordered katsu curry rice, chicken karaage, fried salmon skin and tobikko gunkan sushi, everything is cooked and prepared freshly when order is being placed, so the food is served hot. gunkan sushi’s seaweed was so crispy when served, which is really important and hard to find at conveyor belt sushi restaurant.

food actually taste pretty good and the portion is filling as well. and the restaurant was kinda peaceful, not too crowded, with reasonable pricing as well. i believe the meal was quite worthy of the price charged, of course, not to compare the quality with high end places, but this is rather good for a quick and simple meal.

JUMP Fan Ramblings

I feel so old in the Hey! Say! JUMP fandom.

I’m so old that I didn’t jump on the JUMP wagon as soon as they debuted because I was mourning the disbandment of Ya Ya Yah.

I’m so old that I personally witnessed the gradual shift from the popularity of  YamaJima as everyone’s OTP to YamaChii, as Yamada and Chinen got more and more of the spotlight in the group.

I’m so old that I was there to observe Keito grow from being an awkward teenager that looked lost on stage to being an...awkward, but confident young man. <3

I’m so old that Ryutaro was my favorite member in the group for a while and after the smoking scandal, I was absolutely heartbroken.  I still love Ryutaro and I’m so glad he’s doing well in his new group, ZERO.

I’m so old that I remember being mind blown when I saw the PV for Mayonaka no Shadow Boy because, at the time, they all looked so cool and mature.  (In hindsight, they were still babies, but it was so different when it first released)

I’m so old that I had the pleasure of watching Daiki and Inoo grow in popularity as they gained more acting and singing opportunities and magazine photoshoots.

I’m so old that the group’s first performance of Beat Line was so impressive, as it marked a change in their dancing style to more synchronized choreography akin to kpop groups.

I’m so old that my shipper heart fluttered during the Super Delicate era due to the YamaJima fanservice!  (I was also happy to see Yuto return to the center of the formation)

Hey! Say! JUMP has been a consistent source of happiness in my life for so long now and I’m so pleased to have spent nearly 10 years with them.  I grew up with these boys and they will always hold a special place in my heart. <3
