Where we last left off... Two! Words! In! English!!! And a television? Hardcore!

Danny can raise his head now.

Only a little. It still hurts his neck for a while after. But his arms and his head both rise, now. His fingers curl, now, too.

The result is that Danny can now watch and change his own television channels. No more news! Now it’s all Food Network, all the time, baby. The result is that sometimes the doctors tending to him get distracted by various pasta dishes, but also. Danny is also distracted by various pasta dishes.

And roast chicken.

And fried potatoes. Every potato ever, actually.

…It makes eating his oatmeal a more awful ordeal.

“Aw, dyrling, na þa sæd egean,” the lady says to him, spoon at his lips. Danny weakly moves his arm towards her, but only manages to hit her elbow with the heel of his thumb. “Inne cwic tima, gise? Hiere þa læce.”

Danny is pretty sure his face is a nightmare to look at at the moment, but he still makes the world’s saddest expression at the lady, because she hasn’t blasted him or hit him or even sedated him yet, and he needs something. Anything.

He’s pretty the lady makes an equally sad look under her medical mask, but Danny is hungry and he’s tired all the time and he’s sad and he wants a cheeseburger. Or fries. Or…or anything at all!

Danny’s look gets progressively sadder, and the lady gets progressively sadder to match, and then they’re both just looking at each other so very sadly until a doctor physically has to cut between them to reach for Danny’s green-speckled blankets.

Ugh. Great. Now he’s cold too. He can’t quite muster a glare, but the doctor gets an extremely stern squint from him for their “help”.

The only response Danny gets is a half-strangled laugh. That is not the response Danny needs. He needs immediate respect and a Nasty Burger number two special.

And a new blanket.

“—Eall dæg?” the doctor asks the woman, but not Danny, and then he has to listen to everyone talking about him in a weird language without even pretending to ask for his input. It’s extremely annoying, and Danny half-considers falling asleep to avoid it. His gaze slides back to the television. He’s just as capable of ignoring everyone else as they are. He bets it sucks. He hopes it sucks.

They talk for a while, but then the lady takes the oatmeal away—and hey! Danny’s eyes widen and sting from the stretch. Uh. Maybe he didn’t think this one through. He’d still thought he’d get lunch out of this.

Um. He would like to continue to receive meals. But he’s watching her walk out with his oatmeal, which is the only human food that’s ever been given to him here, and…

Danny’s stomach cramps. It’s probably just anxiety.

He wishes he’d eaten the stupid oatmeal.

The doctor stays with him, setting the blanket into a laundry bin and checking over Danny’s body (ew) (gross) (nasty) for whatever they have to check on him, and Danny tries to go intangible at least four times during the check only to get oWOUCHOW jerks inside his core. At least one time, he flickers invisible. Not much, he thinks. Probably just an arm and the chunk of his torso.

The doctor pauses. Danny waits for things to (start to hurt) get worse.

“Mæg Ic?”’

…Danny doesn’t move. It hurts to breathe. Every time air scrapes through his nose and mouth, it burns a little more.

The doctor doesn’t move.

So they just.

Wait.

“Mæg Ic?” the doctor asks again.

They move very, very slowly. They touch him, and his—skin—and they rotate him to check underneath him. If they find something of whatever it is they’re monitoring him for, he gets wiped down with something gooey and wiped clean, and sometimes he even thinks they bandage him.

Danny wishes he had a bath. A whole, real bath. Where he could wash his own hair. And wipe off whatever this goo is.

When they’re done, the lady comes back in.

The sound of the door latching shut makes Danny flinch. Is she going to punish him? She walks to his bed. With her medical mask over her face, Danny can’t see if she’s visibly mad at him or not. She doesn’t look mad though…does she?

She stands to his good side, presumably so that Danny can see her. The oatmeal is back—it looks kind of gloopy, though, like it’s been badly reheated. The lady shows something to the doctor, who makes an irritated groan, and then they start talking to each other again. She cuts off to show him something, though—

Danny blinks. She’s showing it to Danny. He…looks down at it.

It looks like a mustard packet. It’s a black packet with yellow streaks, with writing on it with those letters Danny’s never seen before coming here, and it takes his eyes a second to focus on the package before realizing that there’s a little bee and pot on one end of the packet.

Oh. It’s honey?

Oh!

…Oh!!

Danny jerks upright, and, OW, and he definitely scares the lady and the doctor who rush to settle him but there’s honey?? Flavor??? His food can taste good again??!

He wheezes— and slaps a stinging hand onto the packet. “Pl’s?” he begs. He’d stopped begging in the old labs, no one there had listened to him—and he’d stopped begging for them to be gentle, to stop hurting him, to let him go. But for food. For food that tastes, Danny might do anything. Anything. “P’lease? Ple’se? Pleese?”

“Pleece?” the woman repeats, baffled. The word doesn’t mean anything to her; she’s only repeating the sounds. But Danny can’t stop begging.

“P’lease?”

“Pleece? Pleace?”

“Please?!”

“Awrite þis,” the woman mutters, and the doctor leaves. “Bist wel. Eom hebbjan eower wist. Es wel.”

And that still means nothing to him, but the lady gently lifts him up until his back can lay on the pillows, and he can sit more than lay. Danny watches in raspy silence as she rips the packet open and dumps the contents into the oatmeal. She stirs with gloved hands, ensuring that the packet is equally distributed. And then there’s a glob on her spoon, and the spoon to his lips.

Danny takes a bite. Tears well.

“Shhh,” the woman coaxes. “Wanian ma?”

Ma sounds kind of like more. Danny opens his mouth, and is rewarded with another spoonful.

He doesn’t start crying in earnest until the bowl is gone. But that’s alright. The lady finds tissues, somewhere, and he gets to look into her human-blue eyes as she carefully dries over and around his still-soft, green-edged wounds.

It’s a very nice gesture.

Danny sobs a little harder.

A few Demonata head cannons (post hells heroes):

- Grubbs has a lot of blankets around the house and especially his room and hates the cold because of the trauma from when he returned home in the first book to the freezing house.

- Grubbs also hates harsh overhead lighting because it reminds him of the mental institute so he has replaced all the bulbs with warm toned ones and rarely lights them in favour of the lamps in each room, he smashed all the old bulbs against a wall.

- Bec begins to get anxious if she's in a confined space for an extended period of time and after the end of hells heroes can only stay in the house for so long before having to get out to calm her nerves, some nights are better than others and she can stay inside for a good while but most of the time shes out fixing the universe to avoid going home.

-Kernel hates the dark and has several night lights and small battery powered lights/candles in his room,

- Grubbs is the only one that eats regularly and watches TV: Kernel didn't need to eat much when exploring with Beranabus and never got overly interested in watching TV but will occasionally humour Grubbs and watch something with him but never alone, Bec having absorbed all knowledge from destroying the universe has seen every film and knows all the spoilers, she doesn't eat often as she has the experiences of others eating but will sometimes give in to curiosity and try something for herself for the first time.

- Beranabus fucking loves wine and could hold his liquor well (because half demon) but he would get through most of/finish a second bottle then immediately start bawling,

-Kernel had to deal with drunk Beranabus every time, he is now really good at managing drunks,

- Grubbs and Kernel "grow up" a bit physically in the time it's taking them to piece the universe back together but Bec remains in her current form as she wants her chance to grow up with Bran this time.

-Grubbs and Bill E loved watching Shrek together and he occasionally writes "Shrek is love, Shrek is life" in random demon lands, Bec has whacked him for this, Kernel still hasn't seen it yet and is really confused.

- Kernel loves reading in his off time and especially mystery novels but will secretly gush over romance novels.

- Kernel and Grubbs occasionally go and throw rocks at lord loss, they promised to let him live they never said comfortably

- Loch Gossel and Grubbs kissed once after wrestling practice before he started dating his sister, they never talked about it again or told anyone else.

- They have a cleaning rota for the house so they don't rely too much on their magic to keep the place clean.

- Kernel has tried to grow hair with magic and it failed, he then messed with Grubb's hair with magic to feel better, Grubbs was stuck with blue hair with pink patches for a week until he looked in a mirror,

- They play chess tournaments to determine who's going to deal with the annoying tasks for the day.

- Kernel is afraid to return to his parents after rebuilding the universe because he doesn't want to make them hate him again accidentally.

- Grubbs doesn't know if he's going to hug or punch his dad in the face when he returns for cheating on his mum,

- Dervish and Meera used to have wine nights when she would visit and occasionally Grubbs would find them cuddling on the sofa blackout drunk, they both ignored him when he asked them about it the next day.

- Timas Braus is a lightweight with alcohol and adores karaoke when drunk, he sings Rasputin every time at least once

Thinking about Prowl being all sad and with attachment issues after Bee got revived.

For the first week of Bee's return Bee kept by Prowl's side when the two-wheeler fell into recharge and was always the first to greet him when he woke up: The first night Bee basically forced Prowl to go to bed very early cuz he has not recharged at all the night prior. He stayed and talked to Prowl while laying next to him until they were both fast in recharge, Prowl cuddled up to Bee and Bee holding him close. The next morning Prowl woke up alone in berth and had a little panic attack before Bee came in with a tray of 2 fuel cubes and some snacks. "I thought you were gone again..." Prowl confessed while Bee held his faceplace and comforted him. They spand some tima alone in Prowl's room before both came out to socialize with the others.

The second night was different cuz Bee convinced Optimus to stay up late to play the game he didn't get to finish before his death. Prowl obviously stayed with him cuz ✨separation anxiety✨. It was nearing midnight and Bee was talking about some plan he had to defeat the next boss, Prowl has subconsciously laid his helm on Bee's shoulder for some sort of physical comfort. Few moments later bee noticed that the weight on his shoulder and side has gotten heavier, he glanced at Prowl and saw the ninjabot recharging soundly. He saved and exited the game and took Prowl to his berth and tucked him in. he had a little bit of a conflict whether he should take off his visor for recharge but in the end he did- he stared at the peaceful expression Prowl had and he just couldn't help but to lean down and place a gentle goodnight kiss on his forehelm. Bee could have sworn he saw the edges of his derma twich up a bit to form a tiny smile- A smile is all it took to make someone look better, Bee still wished Prowl would smile more often... and now that he's back he'll make sure he does. He stayed for few more minutes before going back to turn off the console and head to his own berth.

The other nights were not different; Bee only stayed with Prowl until he was in recharge before he headed to his own berth. Then the second week rolled around and Prowl insisted on going to berth by himself cuz he couldn't keep "forcing" Bee to stay with him all the time... Yeah that didn't last long cuz on the 2nd night of week 2 he had a nightmare about losing Bee again and ended up cuddling to recharge with him in Bee's room. So naturally, Bee didn't give a slag about the next time Prowl asked to be left alone to fall to recharge and kept by his side to be safe. He wasn't about to risk Prowl having another trauma-nightmare, no! Usually Bee would stay with Prowl when he fell into recharge, but somtimes they would cuddle and recharge together in either one of their rooms. Whenever they recharged together Bee would sometimes hum a lullaby instead of talking, Prowl was the only one allowed to listen to the golden notes of Bee's vox.

Next up- after Bee got revived, Prowl surely would not be okay if he left from his sight for more than 3 minutes. He'll get anxious and flashbacks would slowly come and tickle the back of his mind the longer Bee took. Bee brought him everywhere he went even if it was something boring and he would be back in few minutes, or even a patrol; if one of them went on patrol Bee would start a voice call with Prowl so he wouldn't feel bad. (i imagine in the time Bee was dead the elite guard somehow managed to capture Megs and the 'cons so there's only Blackarachnia and somehow-bribed-to-be-friendly Constructicons left on earth aside from the human villains. so ye, domestic fluff time :3 )

One time bee said he'll be gone for an hour max and he didn't tell where he was going... Prowl nearly left a trail in the floor from his anxious pacing because Bee was gone for nearly 3h. He was literally leaving to find him when he bumped into no one else but Bee who had just come back with a surprise for him... that didn't help much with Prowl scolding him to not do this again, he didn't even pick up his comm for Primus' sake! Bee is now emotionally forced to stick to the time he says he'll be back.

I feel like Bee would goof around with Sari and one time they were making weird faces at each other and Bee pulled such a silly one Prowl started snickering next to Sari on the couch. So of course Bee took the opportunity to sneak up on him and do even more funny things and made Prowl full-on laugh. Everyone in the main room was laughting while Optimus and Ratchet watched with warm smiles. They could feel the joy in the air ever since Bee's return.

Speaking of joy- somewhere around the 2nd month of being revived Bee decided it's about time he'll pull some pranks. First one being on Prowl obviously. The classis bucket of harmless liquid (in Earth's case water). He set up the trap right above the storage until and waited for Prowl to open it to refuel. Both Bulkhead and Optimus saw a huge chunk of water fall right on the ninjabot while Bee tried so hard not to giggle. "Well, that checks out today's shower on my to-do list." is all he said and Bee literally wheezed from laughter. Yes, he did take an actual shower later, don't worry Optimus...

Bee also went with Prowl for his daily check-ups in medbay when he was recovering. Ratchet was glad that it didn't take too long for the "daily" part to become "weekly". He never questioned why Bee came along wherever Prowl was or vice versa, clearly it was doing good for Prowl.

Propaganda is welcome and encouraged (so long as you're following rules 1 & 2). If I miss your propaganda don't hesitate to hop in my inbox and point it out to me. I don't always get notifications on this tumblr account for some reason.

HERE BE SPOILERS (potentially). I don't know every fandom in this tournament but given the nature of these sort of characters, spoilers are highly likely for character reveals! By continuing to follow this blog and participate in this tournament you're consenting to seeing spoilers. I would tag them but I genuinely don't know which characters are spoilers and which aren't.

Hello, and welcome back to another event!!! I know i said i would just do one after around 2 weeks but i am anxious so!!!

This tima, like already said, we will be seeing Angeline's hunter persona "The Living Doll"! Here is some more information about her:

She goes by the name "Ms. Bianchi", not remembering her real name

She does not remember a lot of her life before being turned into a doll

She is not mute, but does not talk a lot

She is married to Henry Bianchi, the one who "made" her

During the event, the normal Angeline will still be up to asks, but i will not make them both interact because i would not know how to do so 💔💔 so i ask if you send anything related to this event to please specify!!!

This event will stay up for around a month, so it will end on August 11. The normal rules of the askblog still apply to the event

Let me start with one good thing from this week: I had my first driving lesson in several months, and my driving instructor told me he thinks I am ready to take my exam in May!! That was so unexpected, and made me so happy. Being able to drive would make some things so much easier. So yay 🥳🥳🥳

I'm not really the kind of person to have favourite songs. I am more of a listen to one artist or one album on repeat kind of gal, but I'll use this opportunity to gush about Sondre Justad and his latest album "En anna mæ" (2022), that I've been listening to a lot lately. Because I love the sound of it, and these are some of the most honest and brave lyrics I ever read. This is his third album, and he has been known in Norway for years. Before releasing this album he came out as bisexual, and talked about how he felt he had needed to hide this part of himself for years, and how that had a negative impact on him and his relationships. And he poured a lot of those feelings and thoughts into this album.

So I am going to share some lyrics from the song "Sorry", because I think he says it so well here:

Toosh update: last stream tina was talking about how foolish met her sister which she said rarely happens and then foolish brought up how it would be the same if she met his older siblings and they talked about how she wants to go to ohio and meet his family and go to football games and learn his “lore” which is so sweet like shes so interested in him, his childhood, his family, and his interests. And we know his mom loves her and asks about her off stream which is just like … come on. Tima then started talking about the osu vs mich game he is excited for and how shes going to wear her osu sweatshirt like thats the way to a football fans heart right there

😭😭😭 they really do be saying crazy things and not realising huh... but I'm so excited for her to go to Ohio!! omg that would be so sweet, I really hope that when finally the dreaded day of foosh leaving LA would come he will leave with Tina...
