Ig this doesn't really apply to RPF lmao but I never get bored of reading different takes on ESC era Bojere in particular. I haven't written that much about them myself but them during Eurovision hits different ngl Also as for other fandoms, definitely Pokémon. I don't rlly publish my Pokémon fics but the possibilities are endless <3

Definitely jealousy/possessiveness 👀 Especially in Bojere. I'm actually planning on doing a chapter centered around jealous Bojan in my deaf! Jere fic sometime soon🤭 There's just a lot of fun with that concept. Crossdressing is also an enjoyable trope to me ^_^!

is "having to wash your fabric" a valid answer? because THAT. I have to go to the laundromat so I can dry it at the same time, which ok, I love being at the laundromat, but still.

don't stockpile cheap stuff? "cheap" as in "not expensive", not necessarily "shitty". at the beginning, since I was all bushy tailed and bright eyed, I basically collected a bunch of stuff from yard sales and thrift store, which is a good way to get started bc there's less fear of ruining an expensive material, but just. remember one day you'll have the skill to use prettier things and you don't want to have a bunch of fabric scraps you'll never use lying around bc that takes up precious real estate u kno

Harley question, by the third book, will he and Sarah be starting high-school? I've heard that Americans start high school by age 14.

And will he be part of the quest in the third book? or will he stay in Arcadia?

Yes! They'll both be Freshman at Arcadia Oaks High! Sarah is just a few months younger than him, but still qualifies for the Freshman class because she's very smart... some people blame that on the fact that her father is literally the god of strategy.

And for the quest question, again I can't divulge too much information about that, but most of the heavy plot takes place in Arcadia itself, aside from a short stint in Wales by Jim, Douxie, and Carter :]

Actually, I have already thought about what would their kid be like, but it was just so briefly! However, it's entertaining for me to picture it. The information is for a male child:

Name: Probably something like Quan Chi's name. It derives from an ancient language with a meaning related to sorcery and/or metal-bending Gender: Assigned male at birth. Probably cisgender. General Appearance: This one's interesting. He inherits his height (6'9) and pale skin from his father, and his dark thick hair is inherited from his mother. (bushy eyebrows and hairy body). His eyes are crimson red by default, but he's able to change it. He has broad shoulders like his parents along with strong, muscular built. Personality: Since I headcanon that Quan Chi is a genius, and Ombra's IQ score is way above average, there's a high chance that he's a genius. He's brutally honest, but meanwhile tries his best to be polite about it; though others may find it kinda rude sometimes. He has a bad temper but is also patient. He's pretty logical, and the fun fact is that he never really denies his emotions, he just rarely feels any strong one. He has a dry and dark sense of humor and is usually bad at making funny points. He's s street smart and a book smart at the same time. Also, he's an ambivert. Special Talents: Well, he's 1/3 a demon, 1/3 Metalrealmer and 1/3 human, so this mere information can elaborate his powers and talents. He studies sorcery and necromancy under his father's watch, and is developing his iron-bending powers with the aid of his mom. He has a strategic and analectic mind which prefers to be an expert in mathematics rather than in human sciences ( art, literature, history, etc.) He can mix his iron-bending powers with his necromancy which makes him almost overpowered. Who they like better: He loves both of his parents equally. He learns from both of them, and can experience dangerous but fun situations with them. He thinks his mom's sense of humor is better though. Who they take after more: I think it's almost equal. Personal Head canon: The cool fact is that he has Iranian genes! He has a curious nature, but at the same time it's like as if everything is already solved for him. It sounds kinda weird to him that how people enjoy 'little things"; there's bigger and better things to enjoy rather than the cool breeze in the morning! His only best friends are his parents. Hey there:) thank you so much!!! I’m really glad it’s enjoyable to watch

I use Koh-i-noor gray clay (it comes 1kg per package). Then i melt it in a pot and add beeswax so the mixture is stiff to my liking. I don’t have exact measurements, but id suggest to add at least one third of the weight of wax

You could try this with any sculpting clay (thats not natural and soil based) I suppose, but probably beware of the fumes

hiii would love to hear your thoughts on the counselors? maybe some of your favorite dynamics from the game? anything you'd change about it? lmao i am so interested in what other people thought of the game and especially the characters.

omg yes i was hoping for an ask like this!! i'll go through the characters as they came up and do like general little thoughts after that

laura: probably THE BEST character supermassive has ever made. her arc throughout the game was just so satisfying to watch and her actress killed every part of it. like i didn't mind she kind of has plot armor because i think she was such a well written character.

max: max is max. i didn't really like him pre-release but he's alright i guess. he's not in the game enough for me to truly care about him but he did grow on me a little more. love the max and laura reunite ending.

emma: emma and abi were CRIMINALLY underused. honestly anyone who wasn't ryan and laura (and kaitlyn & dylan to an extent) were underused. anyways i loved emma! i know people already hate her because of the truth or dare stuff/jacob things but i think she's a really fleshed out character. she gets a lot of humanizing moments for why she does the thing she does. she was super compelling! deserved more baddie moments.

jacob: he is such a dumbass but he's my dumbass. love that he stays in his underwear the whole game following in miss jessica riley's footsteps! even though jacob can be a huge dick a lot of the time, he was so charming still. i'd be like "jacob stop pestering emma" but there was also a part of me always rooting for him.

kaitlyn: ate ms. giddings up!!! i knew she was gonna be great. should've been the one to go with laura to kill chris. she was literally the most competent character and the fact she gets sidelined for ryan is so annoying. i wish she had wayyyyyy more playtime.

ryan: well...if you've been reading this you've probably gathered i don't like ryan...which sucks because i like justice smith. i said to a friend that he has mike munroe syndrome where the game clearly wants me to care about him which kind of had the opposite effect. he was kind of just not that interesting compared to everyone else. the moment where my opinion changed from neutral to dislike is when laura comes back and ryan continues to resist her. it went on for WAYYYYY too long and i feel like he never changes his mind until he actually kills chris.

dylan: man i really tried to resist liking him but i ended up loving this man so much. he was such a good time and his dynamic with kaitlyn was such a pleasant surprise. king of getting his hand cutoff!

nick: oh nicky poor thing. nick really gets the short end of the stick. i feel like making him the only character (besides laura and max) who you can't prevent him getting infected. it really hindered the game i think. nick's the only counselor we hardly get to know and basically disappears at the midpoint of the game. i liked what little we got of the real nick though!

abigail: on my first playthrough i found abi kind of boring? she didn't get to do a whole lot. she was sweet and cute but she was just kind of there. the most interesting thing she got to do in my first playthrough was try and hand kait the silver shells. on multiple playthroughs she's gotten more interesting to me. abigail never got to really have her moment y'know? like she isn't an action girl like the other girls but i would've loved for her to do something INSANE (her shooting nick is the closest we ever get.)

i loved the game despite the criticisms i have and i really think it's up there with until dawn!

The thing with gifs is that they're closer up, high quality, and (maybe it's just me?) slower than the actual episode. I'm looking at some gifsets and I can see every tiny emotion hitting a character. More specifically, I was looking at that one scene in THORS where she says the Doctor is "not someone special". But like, you can see she's having mixed feelings, you can actually see her hiding the damage. It's something I don't really notice, well I do "notice" it, but I can't actually see what's happening. It makes the scene all the more fun (and emotional) to watch.

I don't know what was the point in saying this, but oh well, random thoughts.

It's not just you. The gifset actually IS slower than the episode. At least, my gifsets are. In PS, the frame rate should be between .04-.06 depending on your PS, with .05 usually being the actual frame rate to match the episodes. But I always put mine at .06 because .05 is just too fast for me. Even if .05 is the actual frame rate, the point of my gifsets is to let people SEE the scene afresh, to spot a detail they never saw before. I slow the scenes down, just by a tenth of a second. And sometimes, I push it even further and make the frame rate .07 or if it's a really short moment, like less than 30 frames (and no one is talking), I might do .08 to make the moment stretch longer.

Often my gifsets are born from a single gif, a lingering look, or a line of dialogue. I just want to capture that, blow it up, and shout hey come look at this! Have you noticed this before? What do you think of this? And then, when I sit down and grab the screencaps, I think what's the best way to capture that feeling, that thought, in a gifset? How can I get someone to pause and take a look closer?

Sometimes, I push the color of the set until it breaks. Then, I start over, and push it again. Other times, I use the crop tool. The crop tool not only blows up the image, but it allows me to cut out any distractions in the periphery. Cropped gifs literally narrow the viewer's focus. And sometimes, if a gif is not strong enough on its own, I buttress it with other gifs. Like with my Doctorriver "That's nice. But I'm married" gifset. 11's quote was the point of the gifset, but imo, it wasn't strong enough to stand on its own.

The reason that line is so powerful is because of the context. It's an unflinching, unapologetic testament; it's a declaration that this marriage, that River, is real to him. So how might I get someone to see that scene afresh? In this case, I used other scenes to amplify the impact of what he stated, scenes from their marriage in which he couldn't get enough of her; moments when he was eager to please her. And by adding those scenes, that's what I drew more attention to. I tightened the focus through parallels and visual cues. And based on the comments in the tags, it worked. People had only expected to see his dialogue, but by adding the other scenes, the set turned into something unique, something they hadn't seen before. And that's the beauty of gif making. Funnily enough, that gifset is unintentionally structured like an essay; you have the intro, the evidence, and the concluding statement. But it's the evidence in the middle that makes the conclusion hit so hard.

P.S. I actually messed up that THORS gifset. That scene has always caught my attention, because we as the viewer know she's lying, but the Doctor thinks she's telling the truth. So the scene finishes with these two heartbroken time travelers who are desperately in love with each other but fear their entire marriage is a lie. I meant to pair it with Moffat's quote to that effect, but I forgot to add it. Oops. Oh well, mistakes happen, and now I get to do a THORS gifset again, this time with even more scenes. :D

can you tell us about Geist?

yes i can!!

so basically, in the botverse (one of my oc stories) robots are being researched both as weapons of mass destruction and sentient beings by the government. therefore there's been some prototypes

multiple robots have been tested but only one has been given advanced ai which makes him almost a human, that being Geist. everyone else was kinda mindless

but then a moment came where every single one of them became useless after the testing ended and so they were discarded in a dark, small room, but they seem to have forgotten Geist was different from everybody else. turns out he was claustrophobic

so he panicked, screamed, begged to leave and constantly made escaping attempts, only to get beaten down violently every time he tried to and even lost some parts, and with time he also began to rust and get more and more defective

until at some point they started testing out spirits as an energy source, and after some commotion, one of them manages to escape, looks for something to possess and make his revenge job easier, until he finds Geist and teams up with him to beat the shit out of everyone + escape

that spirit's name is Jake

and now Geist uses the fact that he is absolutely fucked to fight and terrify others, such as using his hand to electrocute people or open his face to let Jake out

as far as i remember that's it!

Maybe it's The Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden - in a way at least, because it kinda just.... has been with me for a very long time by now, and the way U visualize the lyrics has definitely changed over time?

It was the song that kickstarted my metal phase (is it a phase if it still hasn't really worn off after several years?). It's the song my dad put on when we were hiking to wake me and I was sitting before the speaking part even stopped. It's the title song of the album vinyl I got from one of my parents' friends bc he had it twice. It's the song on an album I put on when I was happy, and when I was crying and when I just wanted to tear something to pieces, it's the song that made me discover a band that pretty much did kinda change my life.

But idk tbh. As I said, most songs kinda have their fixed meaning for me lmao

Theyre not shy about it, honestly. But its mostly the little things. Kissing, holding hands, etc. Sometimes Douxie will have his hand in the back pocket of Carter’s jeans while they're walking together. He's absolutely shameless about it too.

So yeah, they're not very shy about it. I mean, they wouldn't make out in the middle of the street, but they're also never not holding hands or at least touching/holding onto eachother in some way when out in public together.
