rose never thought she'd be back in her hometown. she also never thought she'd end up divorced either. but here rose was, officially back home and reeling from a nasty divorce. she was happy to be back but she was also nervous. she wasn't the same girl she had been when she left. she was older and she had a daughter, julia that she loved more than anything. julia was probably the only good thing that had come out of her relationship with her ex-husband. so, yeah, it was safe to say that rose spoiled julia and gave her everything she could want.

when halloween rolled around, rose made sure to get julia all dressed up in her costume and then go trick or treating. they'd end up trick or treating for a while but it was getting late. still, there was one more house that julia wanted to visit and rose was unable to say no. so they made their way to the house and rang the doorbell, julia quick to yell out "trick or treat!" as soon as the door opened. rose's smile faltered when she saw who it was now standing on the other side of the door and holding onto a bowl of candy. "miles?" rose called out the name of her high school sweetheart. "is that you?"

Dongha Yeon:

Dongha thinks love without stipulation is silly. He wanted to watch movies that just had romance as a background, or not at all, but since that’s not what you wanted he had to find at least something to satisfy you. He thinks some of the more upscale romances, ones where the characters aren’t throwing themselves at each other but slowly build up into the types of people who are so close they’ll undeniably support each other whether they’re dating or not, are more tolerable but they’re certainly not a preference.

He always enjoyed watching other people suffering more than him, but horror still isn’t a preference. He’d like films that had a little more ‘what ifs’ to them, mostly because it’s what’s expected of him, to like movies that made him use his brain. But Dongha wanted some thoughtless fun too, maybe something that was a silly little slasher so he could watch foolish teens without feeling guilty because they had it coming. You can see the quiet contemplation in his eyes when he watches horrors, how he winced when there were killers whose background consisted of an abusive family, but rather than bring it up you tried to soothingly stroke the back of his hand with your thumb, pretending you needed the comforting instead.

Hajun Yeon:

Hajun is a man with unfiltered opinions so you’re wary about bringing favorite movies of any kind in front of him. Romance seems to get the harsher of the two, especially when there are big betrayals that are tied up by the end; when they leave a trillion loose ends, Hajun can’t help but wonder aloud how they can truly trust each other after that. He also rather there be an exciting plot to surround the romance, nothing too ‘slice of life’ as it wasn’t interesting to watch the life he was living. You would take offense but you can tell when he makes certain comments he’s trying to get a rise out of you, but it’s not the only time he speaks up. He seemed to be paying close attention to the actions of the leads, seeing the kinds of things you liked and thought were cute to jot down for later.

Horror is a genre Hajun seemed to enjoy a little more. He might not say they were his favorite but you can see the amusement in his eyes at seeing stupid people suffering for their decisions, especially when the bad guy ultimately wins in the end. He tells you that it feels more realistic but when there were main characters who went through nothing but trauma, good people who confronted the bad things they had done, who end up winning in the end despite what the film might foreshadow… He’d breathe a notable sigh of relief. You don’t tease him for this but you do put your head on his shoulder, trying to keep yourself still so he can’t tell that you’re giggling at his investment.

Kenta Mikoshiba:

Some horror movies make Kenta a little jumpier than others. Living his life in a locked down home, or even just in his regular cell at the prison, made it so he felt at least safely contained. But watching a supernatural movie where steel bars won’t protect him, nor will his beefy roommates, makes him a little on edge. He acted tough and when there were movies with cool killers with a schtick he always got a laugh, but anything that digs deep beneath the surface makes him antsy. You think he’s cute when he inched a little closer to you when you watched them together, though he always pretended it was for your sake (and you let him, since you were still getting prime hand-holding time with him).

Romance movies make Kenta roll his eyes. He’s filled with all kinds of criticisms for every conflict that comes up, mentioning that love made people stupid and he couldn’t stand it (ignoring the irony of the situation since he was watching said moves with you). You didn’t take much of his opinions to heart because it was clear he held up a wall when you watched them together, and you wondered how he’d feel if he watched one when it was just him. You can see him getting invested when there’s a star-crossed lovers type of situation, and he looked even more miserable if the romance was one that included distance as the stories main obstacle to overcome.

AHHH IM SO GLAD YOU ASKED! it's sort of similar to the BotW plot but really quite different.

But the plot is: Zelda is a famous pop singer who rose to fame really fast. During on of her shows there was an incident that had a few people around her concerned for her safety. Soo, idk if i need to explain this part hehe but a certain blue eyed hylian eventually becomes her bodyguard... Then fans go all crazy about him because he's apparently really cute (even though he hasnt been seen much in public) AND people are making speculations about he and Zelda's relationship, whether they have one or not... This is Zelink sooo must I say more??? 😉 they struggle a bit with the rumors and stuff and navigate their odd relationship somehow....

Anyways, that's about as much as im willing to spill, If i can write maybe 6-7 chapters, This project will be published !! Thank you so much for asking! @linktheacehero I hope this answers your question as well!!

the cold winter wind brushes against your skin as you stuff your hands in your jacket, fastening your pace a bit as you made your way to robin's trailer.

winter in hawkins is something you always look forward too ever since you were a kid, you get to take a break from the hot weather and enjoy the nice and cold one. it was always exciting for you, the hot chocolate, the sweaters, the christmas trees, the gifts, the people, everything.

this december is your first christmas with robin. well, the first christmas with robin, as your girlfriend.

yes, your girlfriend! the years of you having a crush her didn't go to waste, she was now someone you can finally call yours. and robin absolutely loves you, just two hopeless romantics in love. and she never wanted anything more than that, as she said once.

"i love you so much, y/n. just so you know, if i could give you the whole universe and more.. i would."

the little memory of that moment made you smile as you finally arrive at robin's trailer which was surrounded by the white snow.

you knock the door, brushing the snowflakes from your hair as robin opens the door, welcoming you with a warm hug.

robin's trailer was cozy, blankets were placed on and around the couch, scented candles were filling the coffee table, marshmallows scattered around the kitchen counter, and your favorite movie playing on the small tv.

you two sat on the couch, watching the movie as you snuggled closer to robin.

"you cold?" robin asks, you nodded.

she holds you closer, brushing your hair with her hands. "the cold is nice, but i wish it was summer again." robin says. "yeah, the summer was really nice." you admitted as robin smiled.

"remember that one time we went to the fun fair? you got so much cotton candy that night you woke up feeling sick." robin laughs as your cheeks turn red at that embarrassing moment. "okay, first of all the cotton candy was so worth it at the moment." you chuckle, "and plus, you were the one who still stayed with me when i was sick."

the night at the fun fair was one of many nights with your girlfriend that you could never forget. the fireworks, games, and snacks made the night so perfect.

"robin!" you yell out, waving your hand at robin from across the ring toss stand. robin quickly spots you and walks towards you as the person who stands by the game gives you your prize gift, a pretty blue teddy bear.

"look what i won!" you smile, handing the bear to robin. "awe, it's so cute! m'so proud of you." robin hugs the bear. "it's for you, won it just for you." you nodded as robin gasps.

"thank you, m'love. wanna go and buy some cotton candy?" robin asks as you nod, grabbing her hand as you two walk towards the cotton candy stand.

you snuggled closer to robin as you recall your memories with her from last summer. "ooh! how about that one time we went on a road trip and camped in the woods? you got stuck in that hammock we set up." you laugh as robin gave you a sarcastic scoff.

"okay, you were the one who set it up soo.... also it wasn't my fault that the hammock was very... swing-able." robin shrugged as you shook your head, smiling.

"uh i think i did it." you smile proudly at the hammock you just set up, crossing your hands as you turn to robin who was walking towards you. robin kisses your cheek as she walks up to the hammock, sitting and swinging on it.

"hey- i don't think swinging on it is the best idea." you warn her, yet robin continues to swing harder.

"robin i swear to god if you-" before you could finish your sentence, robin gets stuck in the hammock as you smack your hand on your forehead. "get stuck in the hammock." you finish your sentence as you walk towards the hammock, helping your girlfriend.

"how about we stop thinking about that, that was incredibly embarrassing." robin stated, "it wasn't that bad. we ended up cuddling in the hammock so, i think it went okay." you say as robin smiled.

"hmm, how about that one time when we went on a picnic, that was a lovely one." robin says, "oh yeah! i still have some polaroid pictures from that day." you grin at the memory.

it was a nice sunny day, you and robin were planning to have a picnic date near the willow tree. you two had it all planned, it was a perfect date.

you and robin meet up by the willow tree and set everything up. the plaid picnic mat was layed, as you grab the basket and set up the food for the picnic.

strawberry shortcakes, cookies, sandwiches, and robin's famous fruit salad. you had your up in a braid as robin's hair stayed the same, short and pretty hair.

time went by quickly as you two finished eating. the sun was soon setting as robin cleaned up the leftover food and stored it in the basket.

you notice the pretty flowers near the hill and decide to pick some and make it into a pretty little bouquet.

the daisies and tulips you grabbed turned into the prettiest bouquet you thought as you walk towards robin, hiding the bouquet behind your back.

"what'cha got there, birdie?" robin asks as you reveal the flowers to her. "for you." you say, handing robin the flowers with a big smile.

robin kisses your cheeks before grabbing the flowers, holding your hip as she rests her head on your shoulder. "thank you, m'love."

"summer was really nice." you stated as robin holds you close.

Closing the Book on Fashion Forward! (Mini Review+Personal Story)

Yes, yes, I'm aware, this is the 3rd “I've finish Style Savvy FF" post! But This time it's for real, I completed the (spoilers) event, and I've even transferred my save off the emulator for long-term storage on the game cart! [My adventure spanned from 11/04/23 - 12/26/23]

Here are my last few outfits! (mini-review to follow!)

Overall, had a ton of fun with this game! It was one of the most memorable gaming experiences I've had in years. But it was not without it's hiccups, the most obvious being how events are handled, At times you'll have to wait for the correct person to pop-up to progress the plot, and sometimes they just refuse to show up. The Real time clock is a neat addition, with a season system for fashion shows, shop inventory, and for some slight weather features. it's FAR less strict than in games like animal crossing, but it can make unlocking some content really annoying, since you have to wait a real-world day for shops to refresh, and some in-game locations are locked out for different based on the time. But it by no means hampers you from enjoying the game's core loop. (Nigh owls rejoice) I could also complain about unlocking colors and hairstyles and makeup, as they all feel pretty random without a guide. But again these are all just extra. The core gameplay loop of managing inventory, designing outfits, and matching style to your customer was absolutely top notch! Even on my last day, I ended up coming with at least two new ones when I thought I'd exaused all options. The only snag with this, is after a fashion show, everyone will get excited about the theme, and will demand that you only make outfits in that specific style for multiple days afterwards, so that can get a little repetitive. But other than that, the core designing has been more fun than I thought possible! (Personal story relayed to SS, after the break!)

Alright, well since this will be my last post for a little while, (I'll take a short break before starting trendsetters) I figured I'd talk a little about why Style Savvy means soo much to me. (It's SUPER long, and get's a little personal, but you've been warned!) In short, I've always been a bit self-conscious about how I present myself in games. I'm a guy, and generally only play as guy characters designed to look as much like me as possible, Not because it's more 'immersive', or that that's because I'm most comfortable with, but because it would mean less 'uncomftable questions' from others, Yet I'd still get comments such as "that doesn't look like you", why'd you choose that.. weight/height/ hairstyle/skin tone/etc, that's not accurate"!

And that, mixed with many offhanded comments about how others chose to dress their characters, (and the possible reasons why they chose 'a specific outfit', applying a negative connotation to even the idea of a guy playing as a female character) It kinda enforced in my mind, that even wanting to play as a cool, cute or even sassy female character was just creepy in some way. So for a long time, I just avoided it my making all my main characters as close to myself as possible, but even having a female side/alt directly based of an existing TV show/game character would still cause some sarcastic remarks, so I just stopped using them in any multiplayer games, and stuck with my main. Eventually i stated playing Final Fantasy XIV and made my standard character, but the friend that introduced me to the game decided he had no interested in playing the start of the game again, and the few others I planned to play with were always busy, so I decided to make a female side character, and came up with a design I liked and ended up playing as them a lot, while waiting for others to be free. In Final Fantasy, I picked up crafting, and started making my own armor and clothing, and for the first time, I was actually designing outfits for an original female character! and began really enjoying the various outfits I could make, and mixing pieces for new looks It still felt kinda weird, I'd never cared about how other people designed or dressed their characters, but it still felt 'wrong' for me somehow, (Like I was enforcing my own will on them, deciding how they dress. as silly as it sounds) The compromise was making a few alt characters, giving each a style an personality, and just sticking to only designing within "what they would actually wear"

That allowed me to be much more comfortable designing in various styles, but I still felt a little weird making specific styles, as I was worried about how it would be precived by other players. ...And eventually 'Fashion Dreamer' released it looked interesting, looking it up online introduced me to 'Style Savvy', So I gave Fashion Forward a Shot, and fell in love with the game. It let me designed outfits my and other characters, but removed all the previous sources of anxiety! I did not have to worry about anyone else's feelings, no one in the game cared about who I was or how I looked in real life, I was not taking away anyone elses control, they decide they want to look cute/cool/feminine, and I'm just helping them achieve their goal. I could look however I want, and it would never bother anyone or make them feel uncomfortable. The people in the world were all very nice and friendly, and while they may be fake, the positive improvement the game has had on my live has been very real! The game may not be a teaching tool, but I still feel I've learned a fair bit about the basics of fashion and outfit customization. and I feel more confident in not just my designs, but how I feel about making characters in general! ...I mean to a point. I did completely redesign my avatar when I started posting here, as I was worried about what people would think, of my working with an avatar that appeared to be of a different race, ....despite me never posting any IRL pics... ...But, baby steps, I have to start somewhere! --- Thanks Syn Sophia, this game has truly changed my life for the better! :)

As much as I love The Hug and ofc Mom City the scene where I felt s3 was at its best was Sam's locker room scene. That scene was So. Good. to me and honestly is almost at the level of layered-tedbecca-funeral scene which is of course tl at it's absolute finest. Like in terms of fan stuff I'm an rjk girlie forever (y'all are cooking in the tag btw) but in canon I am a Sam truther forever. His storyline was top tier through all the seasons and Toheeb Jimoh is of course incredibly talented and soo fine- who said that. anyways. yeag

You have excellent taste in scenes, anon. The Hug™️ is my favorite scene of the show but the tedbecca funeral back-and-forth really was ted lasso at its finest. SO good.

I love the s3 Sam locker room scene and actually that whole episode. Meeting Ola was a delight, their relationship brings me pure and instant joy. And Sam is such a wonderful character all around!! I don't necessarily think he always got the best storylines... for me, Sambecca was cute but not particularly exciting (and did more to serve Rebecca's storyline and growth than Sam's, idk), the Edwin Akufo stuff was not my fav, and then they just generally did not give him nearly enough to do in s3 :(

Also I know a common complaint is that Ted Lasso uses real world problems like racism when they make for convenient plot points but drops them the rest of the time to act like TL-verse exists in this better and kinder parallel universe. I can understand that point of view, and there's a lot of criticism that that episode introduced something really heavy and then "solved it" in the same span of time and went on to not address it again. The same sort of thing could be said for the Dubai Air conflict. Personally I did really enjoy the episode... i thought the boys all coming to clean up the restaurant was beautiful and Toheeb was absolutely a total standout in the locker room scene (But also I'm white, so my opinions on how the show handled racism are very small potatoes).

but anyway, problems with the writing aside, Sam is one of my favorite characters so i'm always down to fawn over him <3 Toheeb is a very gorgeous and talented man...his smile shines brighter than a thousand suns, he could move mountains.....anyways......

hey i'm back to clear things up, i was just so quick to get my thoughts out i didn't think to properly explain them

i wanted joel to seem more dramatic was what i meant. yell leave and then turn his head to the side bc he can't look at her go, or smtn like that. idk maybe i'm too hung op on this i'll rewatch the ep tmrw to see if i still feel the same

i liked the funnier in her head line too, but the fake bite was soo cute

ok fedra time this is gonna be a long one lol. i totally got what why ellie was saying those things, it's more so about the "rules" of the show. yk how every piece of media has it's own rules about the world and how the ppl in it are allowed to function. ex if someone other than the main cast shows altruistic intentions they're hiding something (spn), everyone lies for their own benefit to some degree (house md), the people can't rule themselves (got) etc. the rules of tlou (so far at least) are that there can't be an uprising without one firm hand who has clear and realistic end goals which happen to coincide with the morals of the writers. no one firm hand and no realistic goals means the fireflies are idealistic and ineffective. the morals don't coincide with the writers and no clear end goal means kc is brutal and senseless. it's not so much about these specific groups, but what they stand for. further examples for the fact that the people can't rule themselves. (ps jackson has council representatives which is called council communism and again proves the point that in the world of tlou there need to be people who make decisions for the majority)

i totally got the type of crush you were explaining for riley, i was just lacking the feeling like the actress was actually about to blush and then try to hide it and then lovingly look back etc. idk this one is really personal i think

sorry this was so long and i also hope this doesn't come off as me arguing i'm really happy just to be sharing my thought with you <3 excited for next week!

i think it's just up to personal interpretation! maybe i'm just not looking into it hard enough, but i felt that since this is a TV show, they can only focus on a few characters at a time. even if they wanted to show us a positive society without any sort of leader, it would be difficult to follow the story if we were bouncing around through a whole bunch of people, each with their own lives and ideas about the world they live in. it's a cool idea that i would happily watch, but it wouldn't fit with the (mostly) linear story they're trying to tell here. like, it was much easier for them to give maria this sorta-leader role because then she can be used for plot purposes and exposition about jackson. and there's always going to be some element of politics involved in apocalypse stories, but tbh covid has jaded me because i saw so much selfishness and greed arise from that, to the point where i'm burnt out and uninterested in the government systems and i'm much more concerned with the individual stories within. i probably should care more considering this show is so popular and definitely has an impact, but.... idk. maybe someday i'll rewatch and skip all the emotional scenes so i can focus on the rest of the show's message!

i think where we differ is that i like a more subtle type of acting. overacting is much more egregious to me than underacting. if joel had been sobbing or screaming his head off i would've been like.... 🤨 also it's worth pointing out that riley is a bit older than ellie and she's getting ready to do this very adult thing (essentially being deployed for war), so she's not in the same headspace as ellie is for most of the night. ellie is excited that her best friend just came back into her life, she's doing all these incredible fun things, and she's got butterflies in her tummy ;-; but riley knows what this night is really about. she's just trying to give ellie a good time, she's not focused on her own feelings yet. if everything had gone as planned, riley would've walked ellie back to the dorm, left boston, and then probably would break down and feel all her feelings when she's alone. i don't think she ever expected ellie to kiss her or for their relationship to go past friendship, so she didn't even bother getting hopeful about it. it's possible that i'm projecting a lot onto riley because this is exactly how i act when i'm interested in someone lol. sometimes i over-correct so hard that it seems like i don't like you at all, let alone feel romantic feelings towards you 😭

but either way i love talking about tlou in any capacity so please always feel free to share your thoughts!!!

I think it was pretty decent from a 911ls pov. like everyone out here shitting on the show but when was it ever groundbreaking tv? like sure I screamed and paused it when I realised HE ACTUALLY WAS MARRIED AND IT WASNT JUST MAD SPECULATION, then I was like: oh, I mean this is just normal for lone star. There's always fix-it fics, I mean come one if u didn't like that's totally chill I don't blame you at all and I kinda even see where ur coming from. but the rescues were cool as shit. And there were a bunch of cool firefam moments it felt like really slice of life in the way it balanced the action and character time. (I swear that it was the longest Carlos has ever spoken for in an episode too). I can also see that everyone has like 1000000 better ways for the plot to have gone, and I agree the writers need to take some lesson, i do think it doesnt track with s1 but i also feel like the show doesnt track with s1. its not perfect and tbh I kinda like it as it is. I love the fandom, and getting hyped. I was so excited for weeks and weeks and I need that second episode. its the actors, guys. they carry it. its soo good as a silly network show and it just feels like 911ls. I wasnt expecting anything better from them, I watch this show to squeal about cute found family and ships and scream about soap opera level shit going down. I'm also always down for some character development and like- the way T.K. handled that "secret" was commendable. as I said before I was screaming. so yeah I'll be mad if they absolutely butcher a character but I can genuinely see where Carlos is coming from so i don't think I'll let it ruin my watch, its only the first episode and tbh I'm still pretty hyped.

YEAH me and my wife have this potential plot with tiyrnan where he sort of just needs to have closure-- so we're also thinking up a special sort of necromancer (her necromancer, transmasc sylvari who essentially one of the only people who ever looked up to tiyrnan. we're still concepting him together :) ) and they sort of go on this like. soul searching endeavor to ask who is he really mad at?? marwyd?? trahearne?? himself?? but essentially he has to reconcile with that ugly part of himself and his anger, especially since i like to thing he swooped in to help with soo-won in the final moments and was actually INCREDIBLY helpful to marwyd. (i also like to think he helped with kralkatorrik since i mean. you can't kill your enemy if the whole world ends.) plus, marwyd doesn't even know the guy honestly, and he's really open to forgiveness after he helped so much.

tiyrnan honestly doesn't THINK he deserves forgiveness but begrudgingly decides that maybe its time to break unhealthy habits and learn what marwyd is ACTUALLY about. it is A BUNCH i love talking about them. i'm hoping to include a few cute conversations between them since i also made them really similar but also just entirely different.

I actually struggle a lot with this. I'm constantly going back and forth with myself about if the plots of my fics really matter. Being in any sf community, I wonder if anyone cares about the b-plots and background information I put in my fics.

I think to myself: It's just a sickfic, you don't have to have all that plot and back story. You just need to write sick scenes. And I would be able to get through fics so much faster if I just wrote out the sick scenes.

But I'm a story teller by nature. So I want to really develop complex and exciting plots. I want to set a whole scene and tell a cute little story. I like creating plot twists and exploring angles beyond the sickness. I want there to be more to it. I love trying out new ideas, settings, emotions. I'm a writer. I love to write.

So I'll continue to do it, and pour all my creativity into story telling. And I will doubt myself less knowing that there are people who enjoy the added creativity. I promise to always keep you on your toes. 😁

Hiii it's soulmate anon again!! i'm so excited to talk to you ehehe , i read some of my old asks and i've been sending you asks for like a year! thats so crazy hahahha!! anyway here's the scene for the fic!!! do you know that scenne in q charlotte when george confesses and he goes " i love you . from the moment i saw you go try to go across the wall ...." THATS MY FAVE SCENE IN THE SERIES it's soooo raw and that actor looked soooo torn omg. i need soonyoung to say those exact line way into his marriage ! so as a backstory it will go like this . soonyoung and mc see other all the time at royal events etc ,, and once when they're like ... 23 or 24 , mc tries to get out the event by climbing a wall haha . soonyoung always thought she's so pretty and smart and he kind offf was attracted to her already but in a very insignificant way you know???? but seeing her be that bold and quirky made me be like ,,,, hmmmm i like her LOL . and then when his parents fix a marriage with her to strengthen alliance between their kingdoms, he's soooo happy and he thinks she's ok with it too ! there's no reason to belive she's not!! But she's only agreeing to the marrige for the kingdom, ( they're kingdoms have always been rivals and this is the only way to solve and avoid wars ) She thinks what her parents do is wrong because they're not seeing her as a woman and just like a pawn . but they love her !!!! they just dont think anything is more important that the kingdom! and they hope she gets along with soonyoung too ... How mc treats sponyoung ohhh hahahaha i make him suffer just like gryff soonyoung sskssksksksk . On the day of the marriege , before they get married she tells him she thinks this is a farce LOL and she tells him she doesnt like that he didnt even think to ask her anything before the marriage. but he's like?? how will i know your parents did it without asking you ?????? so she tells him she takes her responbilities srsly but she cant treat him like a husband. s if he wants he can end it now lol .... she selfishly hopes he ends it, but on the other hand she doesnt want him to because it's really important to the kingdom .... but he doesnt end it cus really both of them dont have a choice LOL i cant decide why mc doesnt like the marriage .... i dont her to hate it just because ots arranged! like she's smarter than that .... i thought maybe she loves someone else ?? and it has to be someone she cant tell her parents about . because thats what they think. that she's single , so they make the alliance ... anyway thats all for now!!! it's already such a long ask haha sorry!! also that club hc for soonyoung you said is sooooo cute. i love that mc defends him !!!! honestly none of my mc's will compare to the hogwarts ones, theyre soooo close to my heart <33333

this reminds me of a book i read a few months ago called six crimson cranes !!! the main character is a princess who has an arranged marriage, and on the day she's supposed to meet her future husband, she jumps into a lake 😭 her gown is ruined, everything is postponed, and she has to begrudgingly make a tapestry as an apology to the man and his family 😭 it's a fantasy novel, so she ends up getting cursed, losing her ability to speak. she's wisped away from the castle, her identity is hidden because of the curse, and the whole nation is looking for her. she comes across her future prince !!!! but obviously they never met, so they have no idea who the other person is. she lowkey hates the guy because he gave her a bad first impression. there's a second book i have yet to read, so i can't even tell you how it ends LOL but i would recommend it if you want to check it out!

gryffindor soonyoung would kiss you if he wasn't so in love with ravenclaw mc. as for ravenclaw mc, she would definitely give you a kiss <33 mwah. thank you for loving them !!!!

The best ship you've written for MMMM I lowkey can't pick, this one either but I think CM!Y/N and Changmin are sUCH a win!!! Something I remember vividly from reading one of your fics THE DANCE SCENE IN OFF THE RECORD... the imagery was absolutely incredible and just loved that the thing that brought the lovers together led to their first kiss... yeah, engagement really fell in the 1-3 months after volume 2 came out, honestly. and it was SO fast, like i've been in older fandoms and stuff before and never did they fall that fast. it was such a shock to see little works go from hundreds of notes to maybe 50 almost overnight, and it's really disheartening to know that your works used to be more viewed/seen/appreciated. luckily for me (and i honestly recommend this to EVERYONE too) i also post to ao3 and my fics usually get consistent views there, so that kind of makes me feel a little better at times!

also YES. i'm honestly so excited for s5 solely for the fics that people will make lol. like i can just... tell that the fans will be able to do great things with it, and im excited. :) and also i deeply miss steve harrington lmao 😭

+ i think that you and sirius would be absolutely perfect together, in the sense that you guys are both quite similar yet also quite different at the same time, so its a perfect mix for a relationship!

+ your signs (im 99% sure sirius is a scorpio but correct me if im wrong) are also pretty compatible too, leading him to constantly joke that your relationship was 'written in the stars' since the start.

+ sirius doesn't do a lot of reading, but he's more than happy to listen to you talk about your favourite books or your current read. if anything he likes the fact he gets to hear your interpretation of the story and characters, and hearing your voice whilst admiring how cute you look when you're speaking passionately is a pretty good bonus. however, it has led to sirius getting into debates with remus over books he's never read before, citing whatever you've told him to back up his arguments.

+ he also thinks the colour wine red is very pretty, and so makes sure to pick you up little gifts in the same colour whenever he can. maybe he sees a ring with a wine red jewel on it, or passes a book with the cover a deep red leather, even picking up nail polish in the exact shade you love so you can paint his nails for him. he's just learned to associate it with you now.

+ when sirius finds out your favourite food is spaghetti and lily makes a joke about the lady and the tramp, resulting in her having to explain the plot to a very confused sirius... he begs you to recreate the spaghetti scene, i'm sorry. he thinks it'll be the most romantic thing to ever grace the great hall (he's wrong, unsurprisingly) but he seems so excited about it that you can't bear to say no to him.

+ your music taste is something sirius is super intrigued by — you definitely have to be the one to introduce him to artic monkeys and lana, but when you do, he starts to really get into them. you can't count the amount of times you've heard him humming 'do me a favour' under his breath, and he always gets faux offended any time you're listening to 'brooklyn baby' and sing 'yeah my boyfriend's pretty cool, but he's not as cool as me'.

+ i also know that sirius would adore how sweet and kind you are. his heart flutters any time he sees you speaking to a younger year with a gentle smile, or complimenting dorcas on her outfit with genuine enthusiasm. he swears you have an absolute heart of gold, and he can't believe how lucky he is to have you!

Hii <3 hope you are well! So... I've read Trouvaille, and I'm in love! 😭 I can't describe in words how much I liked this story, I wish I could convey everything in words. Its plot is VERY interesting, I read the synopsis and I was like "Hm, I've never seen anything like this, how fascinating" and when I read the chapters I really enjoyed it and was VERY interested in the story.

I was wondering how you managed to come up with a combination of ideas like ??? Ok, I've read several Hybrid fanfics, but combining supernatural and horror?? PERFECT! Everything I needed in my life and didn't know. And the vibe of this fanfic is ??? AAAAAAAAA IT'S VERY GOOD, I can already imagine the scenarios and everything is very good to read! I imagine the house as the one from the Ozark's series (even if the location of the series is not at all old, but I imagine Trouvaille a lot like that, the filter, the scenography, and I think it matches the story a lot. Well, at least when I imagine the story be like that).

I'm also IN LOVE with how you made the characters, all the hybrids being predators and the personality of each one I LOVE SO MUCH, I'm SO curious about them, I want to know EVERYTHINGGG!! It's amazing how UNIQUE each thing in the story is, and that makes it even better! Because I hadn't seen anything like it yet, it's so original and so beautiful 😭 For example, jungkook ??? instead of a shy and sweet personality, it's COMPLETELY the opposite, and I LOVED it, "rebellious" and a little "arrogant" perfectly matching his appearance, I don't know, I imagine that very well. As if it matches his age since he's the youngest (although jungkook is already past 15 with the rebellious phase LOL)

And taehyung is soo 🥺🤏 same with what the boys said about him LOL, SORRY, I CAN'T HAND IT IS SO CUTE! He reminded me a lot of Ice Bear from "We Bare Bears" 😭💓

And when the character had that nightmare, I thought it might be namjoon 👀 and when you posted the third chapter and you had the description of his eyes, I was like hmmm 👀 but anyway, I don't have many theories about that, because I bet you will tell us surprise with these things! Then I'm ready!

And about those "electric shocks" that the character feels when she touches Seokjin (or someone else, I don't remember very well) it made me think "are they Companions? 👀 or soulmates" but as it only happened with Jin, I was very excited doubt. We still don't know much, so it's hard to make theories. I can't wait for them to come around and we discover so much more!

When I think that the update is only on the 7th and 20th, I feel so sad 😔 LOL, but when you write these huge chapters, I get really excited because I know the wait is worth it! 💓💓💓

I just want to say, thank you so SO much for sending me such a beautiful message, you've brought such a smile to my face <3 I'm so happy you find the plot to be fascinating so far, I really wanted to have multiple layers in this fic to keep the reader on their toes!

Inspirations for this story are numerous! I've loved hybrid fics for a long time, and always wanted to write one of my own. I've drawn inspiration from many of my favorite forms of media, whether it be music, film, literature, or TV shows. The largest sources of inspirations come from the music of Deftones, films Constantine (2005 Francis Lawrence) Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009 Wes Anderson), books such as The Exorcist, Wuthering Heights, and Water for Elephants, and most of all, TV shows Twin Peaks, The X-Files, Yellowstone, and Ghost Adventures (LOL). I take some of my favorite bits of these shows and sort of weave them all together to create a plot, even if one thing doesn't seem to go with another. I think now, after having written this story for so long, all these inspirations seem to complement each other in different ways :) I'm planning on releasing a whole post about Trouvaille inspirations, including an in-depth look at how certain characters from my favorite forms of media influenced the hybrids in Trouvaille. I adore horror movies and all things spooky, and so I couldn't help myself by including some darker themes into Trouvaille!

My parents LOVE Ozark, I've never seen it myself, but after your mentioning of it, I looked up the house you were referring to. The vibe is VERY much like the setting I imagined for the Trouvaille house! It takes place in a town outside of Boston, Massachusetts, so it is a heavily wooded and misty sort of area. The house itself is an old Victorian mansion of sorts, but the outside areas of the home, including all of the densely grouped trees, are VERY much like that Ozark home.

I'm so happy you're loving Jungkook's character so far. He has definitely been one of my favorite hybrids to write about! Jungkook in real life definitely has those timid, sweet characteristics, but I totally see a bit of bad boy arrogance in him that I wanted to exaggerate in this story. You're right, it goes well with the fact that he's the youngest, perhaps having something to prove since he is the only hybrid who isn't a predator~

Taehyung is really a sweet little bear in this!! Ice Bear is a such a fantastic comparison, especially with Taehyung's stoicism and quiet nature. So cute <3

You're the second reader to theorize that Y/N's nightmares may be connected to Namjoon! You're totally right, the descriptions of both the eyes of the creature in her nightmare and Namjoon's are pretty similar. It's super interesting that you've both made this connection! I hope you'll tell me if you gather more clues from future updates :)

Seokjin is one of my babies in this story, I'd protect him with my life XD I love the concept of soulmates SO much! Its fun to write an OT7 story, because you have to come up with several ways to demonstrate different types of attraction to each member. Y/N definitely feels an electrical pull to Seokjin, but I wonder why... ;)
