when i watched doctor who series 9 i always thought the hybrid in the finale was actually referring to the doctor and Clara's relationship and not JUST them as a duo because a running theme in that season is that time lord relationships are deeper and more complex than human ones because the master and the doctor care about each other despite the constant hostility, there bond transcends time and space and human conventions of what it means to love somebody and they don't need a label to define what they are. while human relationships are simpler and can be put into boxes like "romantic" or "platonic", they can break easier meaning Missy and the doctor could never have a human relationship because it just wouldn't last The doctor is a time lord and Clara is a human which lands their relationship as a "hybrid" between human relationships and timelord relationships. she can threaten to throw the TARDIS keys into lava and he will still wait billions of years in a torture chamber for the slim chance she survives. He can kiss or hold her hand and they can hug and they can say they love each other without there ever being romantic feelings between them. He can abandon her in a time of crisis and she can threaten to slap him so hard he regenerates and it very nearly breaks their relationship, but it doesn't. When she's grieving he takes her to the afterlife to find Danny. When he's a scared young child she comforts him. But she still dies in the end because she's a human and he's a timelord

so ive been playing the L death note ds game and the L communicator mode is so funny. Literally all you can do is feed him treats and make him say random lines at you. to restock treats you have to wait on the blank menu screen for five minutes at a time for watari to bring more food.

konami said u will keep your ds open on this blank screen for hours just to feed a fake L death note treats so that he'll tell you he loves you.

and you know what i am. i had to pause in the middle of writing this because watari came back with more food.

i said i wasn't gonna answer these kinds of asks before, but this one did the amazing job of pissing me off more than usual.

saying that you "don't mean to be rude" and then dropping the insanely entitled statement that you "have been waiting for some time" like i owe you an update is really incredible. sure, your intentions may not have been out of malice, but (this goes to everyone else in my inbox and comments doing the same) please read the tone of your message first, and understand that it is still very rude to incessantly ask when is x fic updating, when is x fic going to be released when i've already said OVER AND OVER AGAIN that i'll update whenever i want, whenever i feel like it, whenever i have the time, and to stop asking me the same question over and over again as well because:

(1) it's entitled. i really don't have the obligation to answer to these because i post these fics for free. it's not like you're paying me to write them.

(2) it's incredibly annoying, disheartening, and offensive to get these kinds of questions MORE than actual feedback, reblogs, and comments on the fic. in home for the bitchless specifically. the masterlist has 1,462 notes as of writing. how many reblogs does it have? 172. that's less than 12%. and when i do get comments, they're the same reiterations of "when are you updating" and "can i be added to the taglist?" (and most people asking to be tagged don't even leave anything else but that's a discussion for another day).

i really hope this finally gets the fucking point across that these kinds of asks piss me off. if you wanna know the status of my ongoing and pending fics, at least tell me what you're looking forward to about it because at least that's a give and take. at least it's not just an entitled question.

anyway, home for the bitchless is updating whenever i want to :) whether than be tomorrow, in a few weeks, months, years, or never, i don't know. i hope this is understood.
