obsessed and possessed with the idea of an etho/jimmy teamup. intimidating minecraft legend turned washed up F tier and the guy who is so bad at minecraft his name is always brought up as the omen of death teaming up would be so great. next series what is etho trying to do? prove that he still has it and isn’t washed up. what is jimmy trying to do? do everything in his power to not die first again.

etho is smart, he knows how to stay alive as long as he doesn’t get into any sticky situations. Jimmy is king of getting into sticky situations, and with etho there, he could help jimmy not only die less, but possibly avoid the one thing he’s dreading.

jimmy makes enemies. it’s not like he tries to, it just always ends up happening. with all of those people trying to come after him, etho will have many a chance to stop them from coming, aka fight them off. if etho could pvp his way out of the situations that jimmy finds them in, he might just be able to get back his reputation.

they could help each other with the one thing they need to get done next time.

I just have a lot of feelings about Eliot Spencer managing to quietly give Parker and Sophie the perfect flowers for each of them in such a way that they would never suspect it was him. Just because he wanted to make them smile. And in the same episode he promises to cook for Hardison and knows enough about both wine and Hardison to immediately offer to help with his sommelier cover. And the whole episode starts with him just comfortably reading in the empty bar with Nate, quietly making sure the guy isn’t drinking by himself.

Eliot Spencer goes out of his way to take care of the people he loves and he LOVES his team and I’m simply never going to stop thinking about it.

Eddie is the only person that didn’t judge Steve for having his “dumb” moments and that says a lot about their dynamic through the whole season even if it was limited. Maybe a controversial opinion that y'all are going to take the wrong way but. Metal is a music genre, not a honorific title. People who say Sleep Token isn't metal might think they're insulting ST but they actually aren't. People who say ST is metal might think they're defending ST but they actually aren't.

"Is ST metal?" is a purely neutral debate. The answer, whatever it is, should only matter to you when you're looking for their discography at the store and you want to know what category they might be in because you have a bus to catch and you don't want to wander around the aisles for half an hour. It says nothing about the band's merits.

I think if we could all agree on that, we wouldn't get mad at each other.

As someone who has a lot of pride, I can speak with authority in saying that there’s probably a lot Dream just… doesn’t know how to do, simply because he would see it as undignified to lower himself to learning. For example: ballroom dancing. Yes, it’s an adorable headcanon that Dream and Hob dance together after making up in the quiet of Hob’s flat or under the stars of the Dreaming, but I can honestly say (as someone who is learning how to ballroom dance myself), dancing isn’t a talent, it’s a skill. And it’s not easy. Unless Dream was created knowing how to dance, he would’ve had to have gone through the humiliation of messing up (a lot) (no really, A LOT) to actually learn how to dance well, and I don’t necessarily think he would’ve done that. I’m not sure his pride would let him admit that he doesn’t know how to do something, so he would just never learn how to do it.

And the same goes for a lot of “human” things because he doesn’t spend enough time in the Waking to be able to learn by watching (and yeah, maybe he’d learn by watching in people’s dreams, but dreams are never very reliable in terms of realism and accuracy to real human customs, so maybe he actually learned wrong). Idk I just think it would be an interesting concept to see be explored in fics, especially since Hob is the main catalyst of disarming Dream’s debilitating sense of pride

It's really ironic that Eight was made as a direct contrast to the feeling of helplessness and powerlessness that Ciphers (particularly Nine with having their free will stolen unable to even ask for help) experience but his character has grown so much in that protector role that he misses that helplessness-- especially that of being an infant. Misses being weak and small an half-blind and relying on his parents for warmth and safety. He can't cry for his mother, or be surrounded on all sides by someone or something that would fight for him, tooth and nail. When you grow your fangs, you can never return to being so young-- you are the protector now and it is your duty to fight.

So I was stuck in traffic today and I decided to give my cuz’n a call ….

#her 2yr old son answered the phone - exasperated #he just kept saying ‘where are you?’ #and my cuz took the phone and said ‘your ears must have been on fire’ #and im just asking is everything ok? whats going on? and thats when she tells me #a story that got me so choked up i had to pull over: #so it turns out she was out grocery shopping with her son and he insisted on carrying her reusable grocery bag #but he is only 2 and the bag is almost bigger than him and its completely full #but he insists - so my cuz sits the bag down and lets him try thinking he will give up when he sees its too heavy #and he was trying and trying but the bag hardly moved and when his mom offered to take some items out he got upset #saying he could do it. so hes on the verge of a meltdown bc the bag isnt really moving that much #and she said he just sat there next to the bag and she is watching his little mind trying to problem solve it #and all of a sudden he goes - ‘uncle odin help me!’ #and my cuzn tells him im not there but he just gets louder and louder calling for me to come and help him 😢 #and out of desperation she gave him her phone to pacify him - and right at that moment was when i happened to call #and as im pulled over on the side of the road and she is telling me all this i can hear him asking where am i and how long until im there #and there i was stuck on the i-4 interchange about an hour away wishing i had a flying car or sum #but i was able to calm him down and told him to let his mom carry it *this* time #and next time i would try to be there to help him #i felt so honored that *eye* was the 1st thought he had for help #i dont see them that often - maybe once every other week or so? #anyway ….. dont let anyone tell u that men dont have biological clocks too #bc its been a long time since i felt such an intense urge to be a baby daddy #gotta hurry up and find mrs right now tho - im 2 yrs away from 40 #if i wait too much longer ​any games of catch gon be played in a nursing home - lol

It wasn't until then that Derek regarded Stiles with his attention. There was something in his eyes, an intensity that Stiles would sometimes catch glimpses of any now and then but it has never been pushed so forward into his hands. He could barely breathe while looking into them, getting lost in the forest that was hiding inside Derek Hale's eyes.

"Everyone I care about is going there." the answer came so nonchalant from him, like the confession wasn't life changing. But Stiles found his answer not in his friend's words, but while finding his way out of Derek's eyes.

"Because you're going" it went unsaid, locked deep inside the greens and the browns. In the way the eyes softened for a moment when he said 'care' and tried to break contact on 'going there' before thinking better of it. In the little frown while saying 'everyone', like that wasn't the right word but he didn't- or couldn't?- say anything else.

And Stiles? Didn't know what to do with that confession. With the knowledge that Derek gave up everything just to stay stuck with skinny, defendles, most likely to end up Titan food during his very first expedition outside the walls, Stiles.
