He meets her tired eyes, wants to get angry. He wants to ask, so what? What makes this time so different? How much can one more betrayal hurt? You think this has been easy for him? For me? Where are you drawing the line, anyway? What makes this the last straw? Look at it from his perspective. What would you do in his place?

He meets her watery eyes, wants to beg, plead, say, you can, you can, pick yourself up. You’ve done it before; please do it again. I know you can, you’re the strongest woman I know. Please, please pull yourself together again, go after him again, please trust him again. He held himself together for so long, he had a good reason, hear him out, give him another chance, he’s been trying so hard, please, he’s been through Hell.

But damned if Nate hasn’t dragged her through some of it with him. The things he’s put her through, the stress, the worry. Their cometary relationship was only recently stabilized, and now he’s thrown it back out of orbit, thrown it all away for someone she never imagined existed.

Nate’s put him through plenty, too, but he can only blame himself for that. He can only blame himself for most of it, really. He reaches across the aisle and takes her fingers in his. “I know,” he whispers back. “I’m sorry.”

Are you named after anyone? Not unless you count the pick 'n save lady. She isn't anyone we know my mom just saw her name badge and liked the name lol

When was the last time you cried? i teared up a bit over the move back in January. I knew it was a good thing but i liked our apartment and knew i was going to miss living there, even if the new house is nice. I'm not sure if that counts, i only got a little misty-eyed. I haven't had a good cry in a while

Do you have kids? nope

What sports do you play/have you played? i was in a homeschool group where we did softball and track & field sports when i was a kid. I also tried basketball, and i used to play a lot of soccer when we lived in Mexico. I also tried mixed martial arts and tae kwon do, although not in a serious capacity.

Do you use sarcasm? sometimes. Deadpan humor can be very fun when it's unexpected. And I definitely resort to sarcasm when I'm frustrated.

What is the first thing you notice about people? vibes? whether or not they're chill? idk. I have social anxiety at the best of times lol

What's your eye color? dark brown

Scary movies or happy endings? por que no los dos? I favor happy endings but some of my favorite movies are scary! they aren't mutually exclusive

Any talents? I'm a pretty good cook. I'm a great gift giver. I'm a talented d&d DM. I have great taste in fashion :3

What are your hobbies? reading, playing d&d, making jewelry, gardening

Do you have any pets? Yes! my beloved Chispa (chihuahua, senior citizen)

Favorite subject in school? loved loved loved chemistry and still do, which is a surprise because I didn't like math.

Dream job? museum curator or science communicator, maybe a naturalist or park ranger. I have a natural tendency to gush about topics I'm interested in, so I think I'd be good at it.
