I recently read and then watched #thewomaninthewindow and what a disaster of a movie it was. This is one of those times where I say, read the book and never watch the movie. The book was good and suspenseful. Just like it’s predecessors #rearwindow or the more recent #disturbia we know the premise. Someone unable to leave their house, (Rear Window - main character confined to a wheelchair, Disturbia- main character on house arrest and in this one main character has agoraphobia) and they think they see someone killed while spying on their neighbors from their confinement. Hitchcock was the master of suspense, so to go from that to this movie that had no suspense whatsoever was a serious let down. Then to make it look like someone can just go from being agoraphobic to being cured just like that is messed up to those suffering from agoraphobia. Hello!! Kinda of late post, I’ve been busy today. I went and saw Aguaman and it was actually pretty good and then went to target to shop for my siblings. 😄 What are some books that have blown you away this year? Like made your head explode with the plot twist or just the story in general? All of these books shook me to the core. most of them I was gasping and had to put the book down and scream 😆at the ending of Defy The Stars I went good reads and put a reading update that literally just said “excuse me, but what the fuck”. Also all those plot twist in Reaper. Book four is going to kill me. The plot of Ready Player One is complex, I don’t even know how Ernest Cline made it all up. There are so many layers in that book- it’s about 10009% better then the movie. The movie makes the entire hunt seem really easy. It’s a year sense I read Rpo, and I would like to re read it soon 🙌🏻 Anyway, I’m trying to read as many book as I can by end of the year. Two more to go before I reach my goal for the year. Book-Melba barfs when she sees TV-Melba get so emotional over this lame locker scene. #TheBookIsBetter is an annoying cliché but in this case it’s so, so true.

(I really don’t like how the show is handling Melba’s storyline. Why do we need silly flashbacks when the message she records for Jules-Pierre tells us everything we need to know about her motivations anyway? If they’re going to give us flashbacks, give us flashbacks that explain how she got her superpowers, because that’s a giant question at this point and it can’t be easily answered in a voicemail.)
