Muse
You give me a reason
To write about the changing seasons
You give me a chance
To catch beauty in a single glance
To put myself into words
And feel the 5am songs of birds
Fill these sleepless nights
With dreams so ethereal and full of lights, rainbows and flying kites.
The nostalgia with just a look at your face
'Wish we'd grown up on the same advice'
Your warmth embraces my world
You paint up this monotonous story
Missed you even when we didn't meet
You are the best thing that happened to me.

Quote
No one can be independent of other people completely, so why not give up the attempt, she thought, go running in the other direction, depend on people for everything, allow them to depend on you, why not.

Your Absence Draws Water from my Well of Words
He wasn’t real all along the wayContours blurring hear and thereTracing the silent furniture,As if a hug would make him dissolveInto molecules in the thin air.Yet he argued his presenceThrough his play of alphabetsPoetry hidden in diaries and pocketsPieces of his mind peeping inLike a cat through the kitchen windowAfter the lunch hour. The remnant of warmth after a feverThe dust of rolled rubber…

normal people review
2.5/5 ⭐️
*this is unedited*
this book was underwhelming.
i enjoyed the drastic change from the unrealistic book relationships in literally every single romance book. it was realism. normal people was a bowl of cold ice water that you submerge your face under to return to reality after a lovely daydream. the back and forth made me frustrated but weirdly pleased and i became fascinated at how much i was pleased to see a normal relationship. this relationship had problems and issues that i found myself relating to. i feel like we see so many perfect relationships in books now that i was shocked when i read this book and realized that my fantastical dreams in a man were unrealistic.
and maybe that’s why i didn’t like this book as much. is it wrong to want to fantasize about a perfect relationship with a beautiful man? a huge reason that we read books is to escape our reality. normal people didn't help me escape the real world. it transported me into the undeniable future where i may not find the perfect relationship.
but that’s what makes this book so interesting. its real. i am a firm believer that every good or well written book has a deeper meaning and this was a well written book. even if a book is a fun read, i find reading pleasurable when 0\o can find a deeper understanding in life or human nature while reading a book. normal people did just that.
i understand the concept and the theme but it was not my favorite book. this was a book that i was able to finish but it wasn't a page turning book. i didn't hate it; it just wasn't the best book ever. i gave it 2.5 and not 2 or a 1 because it had a great message and i respect the book. although, i wouldn’t read it again.
final verdict: i am glad i read this book and i do not regret it. it was fine. it was poetic. it was underwhelming. borrow this book at a library and see if you like it. probably don’t buy it. read it if you find yourself wanting a realistic relationship.

my inbox is always open for book recommendations or if you want me to read a book to see if its worth reading. its also open to talk about literally anything else.

beauty of love
the quick look turns to a long stare into the abyss through the portals of the souls. clear pools of aureate and amber. looking away towards the distant trees trying not to smile from ear to ear, they show the most beautiful of smiles. indie songs playing in their wired earphones, relating to the lyrics, the small talks between beautiful awkward silences remind you about living the good times before they are lost. you forget all the fights and disputes and take in the same air they breathed. time slows down, the zephyr that blows away all your worries. its just you, them and and the distant between the both of you. you touch your hand to theirs and they hold yours like they wont leave it even if an earthquake shook the ground. their cold hands take away the warmth from yours, leaving you nothing but pure bliss. you look at their black-brown hair and wish you could eat them like candy floss. then you laugh at yourself for thinking about it. a little push on the back of your waist , a small touch to back of your elbow, the small dance you do while walking with your hands held tight, the jealousy towards their family, towards small things that are always alongside them, beauty can be found anywhere and everywhere, inside you, inside them and between the intervals of time.
