Christopher Andrews
He/Him
18 / 113 years old
Vampire
Evil and Absolutely loving life!!
So What Happened?
Okay so as we know, wee Crisp Andrews over here had an emotional breakdown and turned off his humanity!! Chaos ensues and truly, he lives every day to be a little bitch!!!
Things he’s had on the go included compelling and kidnapping Maddie Hannigan which came to a very annoying and exciting end when Carrie and his annoying brother Alex burst in to save the day. Maddie was compelled to forget and she did- until Founder’s Day.
The cat was out of the bag and Chris had been itching, bouncing, pirouetting to get out there and cause some (emotional) damage. And he did! A list of his crimes will be posted as I discover them.
Of course he has a room at Bad Guy HQ (formerly Montgomery Manor) where he spends most days tormenting and chillaxing. Chris’ll do as he’s told if it comes from Edward but that’s about it.
Honestly, have I mentioned he’s loving life?????
Juliette Palmer is a WARLOCK !!! What more could you want???
Recent events (6 months ago, to be precise) he loved included the killing-and-turning of one Caroline McReid. Chris was there to help with crowd control but really was just there to have a good time. To welcome her to the family ‘cause she’s family now. Forever. (Ruby too).
If you see Chris in the streets, avoid him. He’s always feeling impish and has suspiciously bloody fangs!!
He is your enemy! (Kinda fun though, right? LOL).
Wanted Connections
Fellow baddies who love him, hate him, murder with him... Just the usual bestie things, you know? Who else is always chillaxing at HQ or has a room there? Let’s hang out.
Good guys/werewolves/pals from the past that always get into a scrap with Chris (verbal or physical).
He killed/turned/ate your ______ and you’re not feeling good about it.
Someone Chris is planning on turning *eye emojis*

"Somebody needs to do something about Sephora 10-year-olds...these i-pad babies are so rude and don't do what they're told....oh my God, these kids can't read and have no social skills...Ugh, look at these little consumers and their Stanley Cups."
I am, in fact, actively worried for these children and I refuse to hate them for the ways that society, as a whole, has failed them.

a bottom-tier autistic experience is being told throughout your entire childhood that you are just an overthinker when it comes to social situations and later finding out that your friends did, in fact, hate being around you and tried to communicate that through weird little hints

Man just doesn't stop fucking MURDERING white men who've done very shitty things
Edit: Yes I'm aware that Hbomb wasn't really The Guy to take down Wakefield, and Wakefield was gotten by Deere, however it was for the meme
Edit two: When referring to Shapiro I was talking about the Aquaman clip

It is fuckin insane the sheer disregard everyone has for covid and how utterly bizarre it feels to be actively losing credibility in people's eyes just because I take it seriously. Everyone thinks I'm being "silly" but I literally was in the middle of getting a degree in microbiology when this shit started, I was literally taking immunology and virology courses when the pandemic hit, it's not like I have a poor understanding of the topic. I've been watching the death rate and keeping up with the new variants and vaccines and symptoms and I can bring up all the sources I want but it feels useless, nobody wants to hear it, nobody gives a shit.

you know how sometimes you see a shape from a distance and hope it's a cat or other small pettable animal. but it turns out to be just a plastic bag or something. well that's sort of what just happened to me, except for some reason i decided it must be a gargoyle statue someone had decided to abandon on the side of the road. so i think i may have just had a truly unique human experience.

i accidentally napped and had a dream (nightmare?) where a new update for stardew valley released where everything was the same except on a random day in year 3 Evelyn would just straight up die. There was a whole cutscene that started in her house where she collapsed, and then transitioned over to the hospital where Harvey gave George and Alex the worst news of their lives. However, they got to speak to her where she said something along the lines of "Yoba will protect me, and I am sure he will let me watch over you."
Alex and George would not talk to the player for more than a few words for a full season after this event. George would spend most of his time in the bedroom, so if you had less than 2 hearts with him, you could barely ever speak to him.
And Alex... oh my god, poor Alex. If you were married to him during this event, he just stayed in bed all day. Otherwise, if single, he would just stand on the beach most of the time, staring off into the ocean. If you tried to interact with him, it would just say "Alex is grieving... Better leave him be."
There was also other NPC dialogue like mayor Lewis saying "I haven't seen the community in this state of mourning since your grandfather passed..."
there was also a glitch where you could make Evelyn live forever and there were entire guides for the "immortal Evelyn glitch" that got patched out in the next update. If you tried to perform the glitch after the patch, mr. Qi would tell you that "hey, it happens to all of us. We can't prevent it, and neither can you, no matter how hard you try."

lead balloon (the tumblr post that saved me)
if this comic resonated with you, it would mean the world to me if you donated to this palestinian family's escape fund.
--
no creative notes because this isn't that kind of comic.
I know I don’t owe any of you anything but I still felt compelled to write about my long term absence. And I feel far enough away from the dangerous spot I was in to be able to make this comic. I have a therapist now, and she agreed that making this could be a very cathartic gesture, and the start of properly leaving these thoughts behind me. I am still, at seemingly random times, blindsided by fleeting desires to kill myself. They’re always passing urges, but it’s disarming, and uncomfortable. I worry sometimes that my brain’s spent so long thinking only about suicide that it’s forgotten how to think about anything else. Like, now that I've opened that door for myself, I'll never be able to fully shut it again. But I’m trying my best to encourage my mind in other directions. We'll see how that goes.
I am still donating all proceeds from my store to Palestinian causes. So far, I've donated over $15K, not including donations coming from my own pocket or the fundraising streams which jointly raised around $10K. In the time since I made my initial post about where this money would be going, the focus has shifted from aid organisations to directly donating to escape funds.
If you'd like to do the same, you can look at Operation Olive Branch, which hosts hundreds of Palestinian escape funds or donate to Safebow, which has helped facilitate the safe crossing and securing of important medical procedures for over 150 at-risk palestinians since the beginning of the genocide.
