the vibe here is basically 'i thought i'd hate it but actualy for the most part i stan'

- charlie shoulda been the character image for this ep, not luciana (love her tho and it's good to see her again)

- charlie surviving was something i felt was kinda unnecessary when I found out about it bc like, they got rid of so many characters in kinda meh ways but charlie had an easy death explanation right there that they coulda used but I actually love that she was brought back and only for a small amount of time tbh

like we get to see some great stuff with her - madison finding out she killed nick, troy talking to her about nick - but don't have to have her around for the rest of the season when we only have 4 eps left and an already large cast to give screen time

- I think charlie basically killing herself for the cause makes sense. like I dont feel like they had her kill herself bc they didn't know what else to do with her (tho I'm sure if she stayed alive they wouldn't have known what to do with her lmao)

- charlie defo looked too young and her hair was shit but I can forgive it for the good content

- the nick flashbacks :( I miss him

- was some drama on twt bc some ppl said kim dickens isn't the best actor and my two cents is they're kinda right sorry. she's not bad all the time but she's rarely absolutely incredible. she's probs the weakest actor of all our main characters and has been since the early days. I will say tho that the sometimes the meh dialogue doesn't do her any favours

- daniel saying how he's gonna strangle troy with his bare hands... ily king but plz don't do that 😭

- I love that charlie and luciana are basically daniel's daughters, love them all a lot

- already knew about nick's ashes from leaks and it was another thing I was a bit ??? about bc I felt like they were doing that for the sake of having a bunch of references in the final eps but I think they explained why they have his remains pretty well actually and it being part of why madison didn't stay pissed at charlie was good

- troy going around chopping off walker arms to make madison think she's seeing alicia everywhere is so 😭 like first of all I'm a genius bc I called it and second of all I said in that post that I thought it would be a bit silly but it kinda works actually. I hope the reason he's doing that is bc he lied about killing her (tho I can defo see him cutting arms even if he has actually killed her)

- the tracy stuff was the stuff I was most iffy on bc the idea of troy having a daughter and a significant other is crazy to me and I do still feel that way a little but I also loved the scenes about it a lot so.. I'm optimistic.

- something about seeing troy be genuinely worried about someone is great. I loved madison and troy both being out there while he was running around worried for his kid idk like something about him kinda dropping that 'I'm tough and in charge' thing for a moment while he was worried about tracy and while madison was literally right there with him is the shit I'm SO in this for like AHHH. need more of it

- troy's daughter being called tracy is still dumb as fuck and I don't think they're gonna be able to give an explanation for her being called that that makes it less dumb. (like even troy being the kid's adoptive dad and not biological dad and the kid was already born before he met the kid's mother would still be a stupid explanation bc what are the odds)

- I know troy said that tracy's mum is the woman who saved him but I really hope there's more to it than 'troy was saved by a woman, they fell in love and had a kid and then madison killed the mum at some point' like.. the madison killing the mum part is really interesting and I'm excited to know more (my initial thought a while ago was that she killed the mum when her and tracy were out somewhere and took tracy to padre but clearly tracy isn't with padre so now idk) but the other stuff feels very fanfic-y and not in a good way idkkkk

so far everything I thought I'd be meh has actually been pretty good so it's very possible if that IS what's happened I'll still like it a lot but I want there to be more to it than that i think

- I feel like I'm at such a weird point right now where I loved the tracy stuff we got in this ep and I'm very intrigued by who the mum and is and what happened to her but at the same time I'm like troy having a wife(?) and kid still doesn't fully track in my mind so I keep going back and forth on how I feel avout it 😭 I basically just can't wrap my mind around him being a shagger sorry idk how else to say that

actually seeing it play out will probs warm me up to it a lot more bc that's what's been happening so far. I think the main reason I still find it odd is just that it's hard to take the 12yr time gap into consideration like he's not s3 troy anymore yknow A LOT has happened since then and he's obviously older and has experienced shit (that I would kill for a ton more information on)

- looking forward to the next ep but currently it's screaming that troy won't be in it much/at all which is Sad but if that is the case I'd rather get that out the way sooner than later

i was scrolling on twt to see ppl talking abt how mangakas write/design female character and i wanted to know ur opinion on biga’s writing for female characters!! (despite being very little…. (＞人＜;))

also can we talk abt jo gul in the latest chapter his hair is saur cute….

humm.. i dont think i have any real serious complaints about the way biga writes his few female characters.. from what ive read so far, it doesnt seem as if he writes his female characters any differently than he does his male characters so theres no weird clash in motive or drive or wat have you.. compared to many other authors who only write their female characters as damsels in distress or simpering demure love interests, i really like that yu iseol and tang soso are both treated as equals to their male counterparts and that they both have important supporting roles in the story and dont have to rely on the men to save them

i like their silly quirks, like yu iseols stoicism and her fading into the background bc she has such an unobtrusive atmosphere about her (though i also read this as being sort of a way to get her out of the picture when biga doesnt feel like writing her + he can bring her into a scene at any point for plot reasons and explain away her random appearance as 'she was always there' due to this), and sosos 'violent doctor' trope is always fun to me, but despite this i fear biga does suffer from token female character syndrome.. iseolsoso are like literally the only two girls in the whole novel, with speaking roles at least cuz there are background female mount hua disciples but im not counting them

where im at in the novel currently, neither tang soso or yu iseol have really hit their "stride" yet so to speak so i cant really speak on the bigger picture but aside from some minor gripes, i like the way biga handles his female characters.. i adore them both and it really is such a breath of fresh air to see female characters written w the respect and strength they deserve, and not as stupid ass weak love interests UGH THE BAR IS SO LOWWWW

💜 - the mane six minus twilight have all been friends their whole lives, but not as a friend group until twilight came along!!

🩵 - branching off of the last one, rarity has made outfits for ALL of the ponies before !! but pinkie pie has been by far her most loyal customer because yk she throws parties like triweekly !! rarity mostly specializes in dressmaking but can also make other types of stuff . :) pinkie pie and fluttershy both seperately have taken some sewing classes from rarity cuz they alwayss loved her stuff :)

💛 - fluttershy runs/works a petshop/veterinarian clinic

💖 - at some point , pinkie pie moves out of sugarcube corner and runs her own nightclub !! (but like its not a naughty club, this is ponyville we are talking about here !! just lots of candy and soda and DANCING AND GAMES :3) and pinkie pie would be the funnest momma evr >w<

💙 - rainbow dash becomes a coach for the wonderbolts / some sort of coach :)

🧡 - applejack would grow up and continue to just run her family business and have a family of her own !! applejack would be a very caring mother but also she wouldnt take shit from anypony!! if anybody bullied her kid she’d have to try so hard not to kick anypony that bothers her and her kids

💜 - twilight works at a school as a science/math/magic teacher, book author or a librarian! she would be a pretty average mom IN THE NICEST WAY POSSIBLE just saying she’s just your average girl!! but she has lots of knowledge to share :3 !!

"Ah yes here we go again reducing a woman to nothing but a vessel for babies who if not pregnant must be desperate to be pregnant" literally no one is doing that.... It was Hayley who repeatedly said she dreamed of having children!!! She said so PUBLICLY like 20 times or even more. Going back as far as when she was just 20, or when she was engaged saying that she is sure that she wanted to have babies with that man, then when they were married she talked about starting a family. Etc. Now that she is no longer with him, she said again herself that had a deep desire to start a family with her partner (Taylor) like in 2020. She would say/post things about that many times during the time when she was more active on TWT/IG so 2019-2021. It's not like we are taking things Hayley said when she was very young and just running with it, we are literally talking about things she said when she was already into her 30's and already with Taylor. If she never said these things, I would not care. But just look at any time she expressed her desires, it was VERY serious for her. It was not "maybe one day i'll start a family", it was something she was sure of. I hate that ppl on here act like starting a family isn't a dream of many women including Hayley. Yes some women do dream of becoming a mother but that doesn't mean we are reducing them to "a vessel for babies"

oh so you don't think the ask the rambled on about hayley wanting kids just to end it by acting like they know taylor doesn't want that and it's oh so sad she can't have a family because it's her partner who doesn't want it isn't simply reducing her to some vessel for babies? no one said she can't have that dream, you're putting words in people's mouths, not a single person said it isn't a dream of hers, but for someone to come here and act all sad for her purely because they've decided her partner doesn't want kids and she's basically settling is literally a problem.

lil rant in coming . kinda prompted by the event . talking about gender & the fandom & ..basically a big ramble.

the story message is so darn cute. i love that amaya can tell young people that a form of love is self love & being true to oneself & your preferences. because amaya wasn't always out as NB. in 'my verse / my none tumblr wol verse / twt verse??' they came out during shb.

cause not all queer stories start with a teen figuring this out. some people are older. but people constantly shame older queer for coming out late... personally I wanted amaya's story to be one where, when they learn to forgive themself, to be themself, they also truly stand to themself. & for them, that journey takes up to shb. that journey takes them until they are 30. ( I am a not fully out yet NB person myself & I may never really come out irl because of how german works as a language & wanting to avoid troubles ).

& dunno. the fandom sometimes does not make it easy. like i know i started writing amaya as a woman but ya know. self discovery yadda yadda. I do write amaya as sb who has been living as NB since their younger years bcs I do not trust people to be able to realize why amaya may use she/her pre-shb & then they/them.

but the amount of times ppl go "well you know amaya is still kinda a she" why. cause they have a bigger chest? cause sometimes they wear a dress? cause they do not fit a stereotype of how all NB people must be androgynous? I am sorry they do not fit into this media & fandom pushed idea of how NB people must be. People really want NB people to be like a third gender when this is exactly what we are not. moen & ysayl.e were killed off for no good reason. shtola never got the same kinda development the male scions got ( nah imma say it, if shtola had been a guy the whole lifestream thing & aether sight would have had its own arc. alas it is 'haha funny we nearly saw her naked'). the moment the devs remembered minf.ilia is a really interesting character they got so scared they yeeted her off for over an expac only to have her be dead once we reunite. yotsu.yu died too. i really like zero but i am trying so hard to not be too attached bcs the game slapped she/her on 'em so all i see is a deathflag.

i am sorry then that people feel more inclined to ship their characters with the guys then. the saving grace in all of this are the rper here tbh who grab these characters & give them so much more life ( just as an example, @astherea 's shtola is just brilliant )

HI . seeing your tags was the best thing to wake up to im so serious!!! BUT YES YOUR RIGHT the idea for the mirror head design was that she reflects peoples worst aspects back at them! (coos snobish moralism, chairmans manipulation.) i see it as chairman not reallyy loving her but (the same way she does at least. idk their both intricately bound business partners more than lovers?) loving his own reflection she projects of himself. shes trying to be other people to stay untouchable and likeable if that makes sense, wanting to stay the perfect wife for chairman and seeing his true power hungry nature I think she does what she can to enable it? (which is what i see coos line about becoming less and less to robert as he focuses and prioritizes on work more and more.)

sorry for the long ramble i do like her a lot . and nonbody else posts abt her LOL. but based on most of ttccs writing (and general fandoms treatment of female chars) i sorta doubt well be seeing this LOL!

i'm so happy to hear that!! and yeah that makes perfect sense! crystal serving as an enabler of robert's worse qualities and reflecting off of others for her own benefit is super interesting to think about esp considering how everyone in ttcc is flawed in some way whether theyre aware of it or not (which is something i personally love about ttcc's writing!) and how typically speaking, when ppl are presented with or called out on those imperfections they react to it in different ways. crystal isn't a perfect individual by any means but neither is anyone else i don't think lol. and irt to the brothers it's very obvious to notice how robert is flawed due to his screen/content time + how he presents himself but i also imagine it's a lot harder for ppl to realize or admit characters like otto have flaws as well due to how cordial he treats toons despite working for a company that, yknow, works to harm them.

anyways, i am a bit saddened nobody has really talked about her, at least on here. idk if it's the same on other places like twt or clashcord since i don't really use those sites but yeah despite the female characters generally being well-received and us getting a little more info about them in this years april toons event i do feel there's a disparity between them and the guys that i hope gets fixed. until that happens, it's fun to theorize and delve into possibilities!

hey! just wanted to inject some nuance into the dwd conversation (sorry for the length but... oof people talking about this make me frustrated). right off the bat - i totally agree that a lot of people are way out of line with the response to dwd and to olivia wilde in particular, like that one twt account ppl mentioned in the tags (just vile). but i think that there's layers of context here where there are legitimate reasons for people to be upset, they just are... high jumping over any kind of nuance or reasoned discussion and right to weinstein rape apologist language.

it was definitely decided that the promo for this movie was going to play up harry styles' sex appeal and draw attention that way. i mean, the first trailer included an oral sex scene. there was a deliberate decision made to include that, knowing that it would get attention. now, we don't know if that decision was olivia wilde's, or a studio marketing department's, or (most likely) some combination of both, but it did occur! it's not just the fans making it all about the sex. from what i've heard from those who've seen early screenings, there isn't actually a lot of sex in the movie outside of what's in the trailers, because the sex isn't the focus of the movie itself. so, again, this is how they chose to market it, and it did get attention for that.

i think olivia wilde herself, as the main person promoting and speaking about the movie so far (in interviews, etc) has gone along with that marketing strategy. the full context from the vogue story of the sex quote is that first, in the preceding paragraph, olivia is the one to bring up sex in movies.

“The 1950s get this rap as a very controlled, conservative era, when in fact it was incredibly debaucherous. My grandparents on my mother’s side loved to party,” Wilde says. One of Wilde’s aesthetic reference points for her film was Poolside Gossip, Slim Aarons’s photo of coiffed women in caftans chatting over cocktails in a Palm Springs backyard whose manicured perfection can’t help but imply some Lynchian rot lurking beneath; another was the thrillers of Adrian Lyne, like Fatal Attraction and Indecent Proposal. Those movies are “really sexy, in a grown-up way,” Wilde tells me. “I kept saying, ‘Why isn’t there any good sex in film anymore?’ ”

then in the next paragraph, they ask about that scene in particular, and you get the "though she readily volunteers that she intends for her audience to 'realize how rarely they see female hunger, and specifically this type of female pleasure.' " quote.

again, the sex isn't the focus of the movie and we don't hear anything about how the sex relates to the themes of the movie (other than aesthetically). they could choose not to talk about it. but this is the promo strategy they went with, and it obviously has worked at drawing attention. on a more personal to olivia note, a lot of people took issue with her sharing an instagram post from an account called the clit.test about good sex in media approving of dwd (again, focused on that scene in the trailer).

moving on with more nuance - the non-con of it all. again, a lot of the response has been 'how dare this movie depict non-consensual sex' which is... not the most productive way to engage with art. BUT i do think it's valid that people are feeling some ick about having watched the trailer, having absorbed the messaging of the headlines around the film, having felt one particular way about the sex in it, and then learned that it's non-consensual. i don't blame them for feeling uncomfortable. for example, the clit.test actually took back their instagram post when they learned about it (also apparently after a healthy dose of harassment from all sides, so... great job guys). this is also where the way the larger themes of the movie have been framed gets (for lack of a better word) problematic, and is more directly tied to olivia.

again, full quote for context, but this is how olivia teed up the themes of the movie (and they've stayed consistent) at cinemacon, with the first trailer drop:

“I want you to imagine a life where you have everything you could want,” she told the crowd of theater owners. “Not just material, tangible things… like a beautiful house, perfect weather and gorgeous cars. But also the things that really matter, like true love or the perfect partner or real trusted friendships and a purpose that feels meaningful. What would it take for you to give up that life, that perfect life. What are you really willing to sacrifice to do what’s right?” Wilde asked. “Are you willing to dismantle the system that’s designed to serve you?”

this framing - implying pretty heavily that florence pugh's character has "true love" or "the perfect partner", or that her situation is a "system that's designed to serve [her]" when her consent to the sex they're having is dubious at best, because of her lack of awareness and agency in the overall context is... it's just a yikes.

so - just trying to give context, that while most of the backlash against the movie has been over the top, misogynist, and bullying - there are some actual potential issues with it, and i wish people talked more reasonably about it instead of just going with "boo olivia wilde evil boo".

Oh anon. I know I'm not really one to talk - but that's a lot of words. And all it suggests to me is that you don't know what nuance means.

I disagree with your central premise and also think this ask is steeped in media illiteracy, hypocrisy and a terrifying view of consent.

I can't tell if your argument is that it's wrong to try and make sex scenes sexy, with this premise (I'll try and avoid spoilers). Or if your argument is that it's wrong to include sex scenes in the marketing campaign or a movie with this premise. I don't think either argument is sustainable - and are incredibly limited and controlling attitude towards art. (The same thing is shown with your bizarre reading of Olivia Wilde's quote, which suggests you have completely missed the point she's made).

A few more points:

Profile writers don't always replicate the order conversations happened in their profile - so 'this paragraph came first' is not evidence that it happened first in the conversation.

We do know who makes the decisions when it comes to how movies are marketed: marketing departments. The fact that you don't speaks to your lack of interest in the subject, not that it's mysteriously unknowable.

The premise of this movie makes large elements of it non-consensual. (I cannot believe that anyone who is trying to take the moral high ground would call something that is clearly non-consenting dubious consent).

Harry has talked about doing sex scenes in this movie. Harry has used sex to promote his art. Harry has made art where sex is one of the key themes. He's made unclear references to lack of consent in his art. The hypocrisy of fandom is really clear.

The Devyn stuff was likely about snc, cause I know she was heated and going off about them after that whole kerfuffle with the old snc membership podcast getting leaked where they talked about the fight she got into with Elton's ex. The thing about that, that pissed me off was she went on a 3 day rant across multiple accounts, talking about snc betraying her and talking behind her back and being bad friends and whatever else...and then showed up to a party at their house the next fucking week.

As far as Corey and Jake...they may well have valid and legitimate reasons to not be friendly with snc anymore. I'm sure snc are demanding as fuck when it comes to their content. I'm sure Jake and Corey were sick of being at the whim of their friends when it came to the when's, where's, why's, what's, and how's of the content being produced at the time. I'm sure that moving into a house owned by snc and now having to have them as their landlords just added to the pressure. I'm sure the fans constantly bugging them about why they weren't filming with snc anymore just added to the frustrations. I'm sure Elton in their ear wasn't helping the situation.

I get all that. That's fine. It's their right to want to be in charge of their own lives, careers, thermostats and living spaces. Understandable.

What I don't like is this shady bullshit. I don't have any respect or patience for it. Snc are the reasons they have ANY careers at all. Snc are the reason they have the connections they have and the new friends that they glombed onto for free clout when the snc well dried up.

They can have personal issues with snc til the cows come home, I don't give a shit. But I have no respect for people who don't have at least a bare level of public loyalty for the people who handed them their careers on a silver platter, when those people have not said or done anything publicly against them.

Snc owe a debt to Elton. He helped them out a lot when they were young and had just moved to LA. And I think that loyalty and respect is probably one of the few- if only- things that keep them from saying a word about his antics over the past two years. And honestly? With the way he's been acting, they would have a case at this point to give up on that sense of loyalty and clap back if they wanted to. But they don't.

I know this may be the feeling when you just look into fs twt and some big popular accounts with many followers - hence many likes - hence the tweets who get presented as popular. But don't be sad this is not representative for the whole FS fandom on twt or any other SNS.

I can't tell you FS Twitter is a good place, it's not, but don't believe there are no Shoma fans there. There is a big part of FS Twitter who still loves and supports Shoma very much. I can name you accounts to block and to follow to live a peaceful Shoma fan life if you wish. I do it myself and have fun on FS Twitter, you just have to do self care and not look into the hater accounts.

And tbh most of those haters, hated him long time ago when he was close to beating Yuzu at 2017 Worlds. Some of them hold a grudge for very long. There are also those ppl - fired up originally by Ambesi - who trashtalk his technique - that admittedly is far from ideal - and started to call him cheater. But this was all on the judging site, so they couldn't lull other ppl into believing he is a bad guy. In 2019 things changed with the one thing he said - I have talked about it many times already and am not going to repeat it time and time again, imo it was blown a lot out of proportion and also not looked at with context - sadly some ppl don't want to have the full story - so they canceled him so here we are.

Imo there are a few big accounts who remind ppl time and time again of the evil Shoma Uno everytime he competes or gets any kind of positive attention like ppl cooing over his dogs etc. Imo these must be miserable and masochistic ppl to watch and follow someone they hate so much. I mean in the end even if I believe someone is a bad person, it doesn’t make him/her a bad skater undeserving of medaling. Wild concept I know.

I think this one sentence speaks volumes about the state of FS Twitter "we need to uncancel Shoma" this was said by supposedly haters at SkAm. They don't hate him, they are just afraid they get blocked and lose some of their "precious" hater friends, because they know some of them make their twt experience a hell of a living. I am very sure many of the FS fans in general don't have a problem with Shoma at all, but if you wanna get "popular" on FS twt and get followers you need to "cancel" ppl (not only Shoma, but Vincent, Nathan, Mariah Bell etc.) or just not talk about them at all.

I also even know accounts who said "I wouldn't say a word about Shoma because I don't want to get in trouble, but I love him and his skating." So much for "everyone hates him". Well...NO we don't.

I also saw that turn of "trying to be popular" on twt with a Tumblr acc here, who talked positively to me in messages about Shoma and on Twt she is one of the ppl who gets involved into trash talks about Shoma. I dunno if she is serious or just trying to fit in, just that this is very different from the way she talked to me before and she knew the Shoma issue since 2019, but only in 2021 decided to be a "hater".

One thing I see with Shoma haters is that these are mostly young women or teenagers who don't have much life experience and feel personally insulted or try to fit in just like in real life or believe everything they are told. So maybe one day they realize that the world isn't black and white and skaters are ppl with faults and backgrounds and that cancel culture is not allowing growth for anyone - the hated and the hater.

I believe if you're grown up and have work and a life and FS is only your hobby - a precious one but a hobby - , there is no time or need to fit into a virtual world full of toxic remarks on who to hate and who to like. And we all know being grown-up isn't always about age.

I probably could have answered this shortly, but anyway I mean what I write...😅 (this is my biggest problem on twt, the size limit of tweets)

These are my personal observations in the FS fandom, so others experience might differ. But one thing is sure in social media you have to find your safe heaven.

and then we have tweets like these. yes it’s completely possible that she decided to speak out this way. but at the same time, why would you want supernatural fan accounts to tweet about something so personal? this fandom is the last place you’d want shit like this to start. and before you get mad that i’m defending him, i’m not. there is literally nothing that she’s said with words abt this. only vague post mentions on twt and ig which i’ll show later

......................a lot but i'll do my best lol but if you scroll through my "tw//negativity" tag you'll find some of the things ppl r talking abt

So basically Jae has been slowly distancing himself from d6 for awhile now and he kinda fell in w the Dive Studios crowd and now he's like doing twitch streaming and seems to be trying to get in w that crowd + 88rising (an asian american label) crowd.

He's been very open about his struggles as a kpop idol, but in doing so he has put his foot in his mouth several times and said many things that are really insulting to the rest of d6 (like calling them "inauthentic") like he's obviously trying to distance himself from kpop idoldom, but he's doing it in a way that plays into very problematic Western views of kpop that are rooted in racism and it's just a bad look all around. He's also praised JYP several times while shading his bandmates and that just leaves a bad taste in many people's mouths. He officially left JYPE at the end of last year, even though he said that he hasn't officially left d6, they're just on their military hiatus rn. I think he's said some more things abt d6 since then but honestly I don't know everything he's said so I'm not sure.

The current problem is that he was on twitch and was like "Now that I'm not an idol anymore I can say this. Why Jamie tryna be a thot?" and then laughed about it. Jamie is a fellow former JYPE artist that Jae has known since she was 15ish (and he was 20ish) and has been one of his good friends and supporters. He worked with her at After School Club and at Dive Studios. Jamie has apparently always struggled with ppl making bad comments about her + sexualizing her like this. People have been rlly tearing Jae apart over this on twt and Jamie herself saw it and tweeted abt how hurt she was (she's since deleted these tweets). Jae apologized and claimed that he thought "thot" meant the same thing as "baddie" (it does not).

Theoretically, it IS possible that he really thought that those were interchangeable terms. Even though Jae is a native English speaker, that does not mean he actually knows what those terms mean. Thot and baddie are AAVE terms, which is a language/dialect (I'm not sure what it's classified as) that most people outside of the African American community aren't very familiar with. Meaning isn't always easy to really understand with just context. Like, I'm a native English speaker and I've heard ppl say baddie but I'm still not rlly sure what it means exactly. More importantly, all of this ties into a much larger problem of non-black people butchering AAVE and using it incorrectly and out of context. But that's another conversation that I should not be spear-heading as a white person. It was still very wrong and awful of Jae to call Jamie a thot, bc most ppl know by now that when it comes to general slang, it's associated with words like hoe, and has a similar meaning. Jae knew damn well what he was saying when he called her that. Just bc he might have POSSIBLY thought the words were interchangeable does NOT excuse him calling her a thot as an insult.

It was just a bad thing all around like his tone when he called her a thot was very "shit talking behind someone's back" but with like extra layers of misogyny (him, as a guy, calling a woman a thot behind her back) and fame (he said that publicly in front of thousands of ppl in a way that made jamie look bad) like he rlly just kinda exposed himself to be (at the very least a bit of) an asshole.

TL:DR he called a female friend a thot on a live stream and seems to be trying his hardest to fit in w a new crowd of ppl who will never respect him or like him like he wants, and in the process he's shitting all over the ppl who have been his friend/by his side since the beginning and it's just a bad look and shitty behavior.

ahh mystic! just finished playing kokomi's story quest! spoilers below the cut!

ok no morally grey kokomi unfortunately :(( kind of sad about that (damn you french genshin impact twt account !! ✊) but i should've expected it from the recent archon quest...

in the first half, i was suspecting that it wasn't going to go the way i wanted it to so i wasn't too impressed (ngl i was also kinda relieved that i didn't get kokomi bc i wasn't liking her too much in the beginning)

on the flip side, i actually quite liked the second half, especially when we went to kokomi's secret hideout. at first, i thought "oh here we go again,,, another character is burnt out from work" but i started appreciating her a bit more after reading her dialogue in the hideout part. probably bc i kinda (?) relate to her, doing something she doesn't have her whole heart in (except kokomi's acc rly good at her job! haha), trying to please everyone around her, lying when she says "i'm fine" (oops a bit too deep PWAHAHA), hiding away after her social battery has depleted and just wishing all her work would complete themeselves LMAOOO she's rly cutee aw <///3 ig there needs to be at least one character of her disposition in the game, right? (not sure if this is copium but)

OH i'm also glad the casualties of the war were addressed too (thru both kokomi's secret notes and npc dialogues) and that the transition wasn't as smooth as it was first made out to be

oh well, even though we didn't get villain kokomi there's always the rest of the game to wait for that kind of character... and i guess we did (sorta? not rly?) get a couple of villains.. i.e. some tenryou commission soldiers lmao and at first, the resistance soldiers who made the fatui rumours and held prejudices against the tenryou comm. i appreciate this tho, shows that not everyone is happy with the result. and the last guy who said he couldn't live an ordinary life without seeing the tragedies of the war... bro that HIT HARD for some reason. my heart broke slightly,,, it actually felt like there was a war and ppl are grieving and facing the consequences (i didn't mention this last time but ei/raiden shogun never looked like she felt any kind of remorse for the people and civilians she hurt, the ones she should've protected. i rly rly wished she had done that at least). OH and also the old woman who told kokomi to be wary of the peace talks bc their god would've died in vain etc etc. glad we got varying opinions from the npcs!

overall tho, it's a pretty good follow up to the archon quest and not so much a "date" in comparison to the other female charas' story quests! (lowkey kinda salty there's no villain kokomi but it's alright mhy i will forgive u LOL)
