I will never forgive Maureen Johnson for calling David Stevie’s Watson. The same David who is missing for half of the Hand of the Wall and half of the Box in the Woods.

Nathaniel Fisher was not Stevie’s secret keeper, lookout, closest confidant, and did not get SHOT AT for David “Barely Present” Eastman to be Stephanie Bell’s Watson.

I'm currently reading Nine Liars by Maureen Johnson and it reminded me of something in the second or third book that drove me crazy.

We get introduced to that goth character (Mudd, or mulch or something) and he happens to love Disney and wants to be an imagineer. And he says that his favorite Disney attraction is the Country Bears Jamboree. But it isn't very popular because it doesn't have a show or movie based on it like the Pirate's ride or whatever.

But there is a Country Bears movie. It came out in like 2004 or something. And I thought oh this character is a diehard Disney fan and doesn't know that his literal favorite Disney thing Has a movie? That's pretty suspicious to me. Is he lying about liking Disney, or just lying about the country bears?? What's this guy hiding, what's his deal?

And it ended up being nothing and I felt like a Disney Adult for even knowing enough to try and call him out, but what the hell?! Am I crazy? Did anyone else catch this? Maureen how could you do this to me I thought I was a detective for a full 20 minutes.
