#the unforgivable curses
Note
Even though Rowan was killed under R’s command it still doesn’t make me think of Rakepick as any less despicable. She’s still done fucked up things like torturing Merula and that random wizard at Knockturn Alley. I don’t know why R would tell her to do that in either of those instances (especially if Merula was already in cahoots with them at that point) so I wouldn’t be surprised if she did them of her own accord. Even if the instance with Merula was faked somehow she still tortured that poor guy and never showed any kind of remorse for it. I mean she literally told MC that she was “just getting started” after she stopped torturing him. I know a few people thought that was “badass” of her or whatever but I really couldn’t disagree more. Inflicting excruciating pain on a total stranger and not showing any kind of remorse for it is just plain evil imo. And if Rakepick torturing Merula was genuine then that was beyond fucked up too, Merula was just a kid that looked up to her and that evil bitch repaid it by torturing her while mocking/insulting her, it’s just disgusting to think about. Also using that curse gets you a life sentence (which Rakepick already knew) so honestly she should be rotting in Azkaban either way.
I feel you, anon.
Your anger is a thousand percent valid. Rakepick having done what she did because she was ordered to, doesn't make it any less wicked. There are precious few additional contexts that could ever make something like that less wicked, and this sure as hell isn't one of them. Even if Rakepick is genuinely afraid of R, she had other options. Dumbledore could have protected her. She didn't have to submit to them. But it doesn't seem like she joined them out of fear, but selfishness. That's the other thing. Knowing how villain! Rakepick is characterized in this game, she'd have gladly murdered Rowan even if she was acting alone, for her own amusement.
That's the thing. She took far too much enjoyment from all of the evil things that she's done, so analyzing her actions and guessing which of them were under orders from R changes nothing about Rakepick herself, and the only real reason to do so is to try and figure out just what The Cabal is planning. At a guess, she wasn't specifically ordered to Crucio anyone, but was given broad instructions that she interpreted in her own way. My theory about the Merula torture is that Rakepick (or R) wanted to punish Merula for getting too close to MC, remind her of her place, and reinforce all the wrong lessons. Merula was supposed to bond with MC, but not actually begin to care about them. And I bet she did begin to care about MC, even just a little. This is unrelated but I really think that Merula "becoming the mask" over time is going to be a major part of what saves her in the end.
This is also why I think that Merula's vendetta against Rakepick and desire to kill her were absolutely genuine. I think she really did admire her and see her as a mother substitute, and Rakepick exploited this to torture Merula emotionally as well as physically. And she took pleasure from doing so. Yeah, villain! Rakepick has no redeeming qualities and while I wouldn't want anyone in Azkaban, you said it yourself, the Cruciatus Curse is an automatic life sentence...and I tend to consider it to be the most evil of the known spells in this universe. There's just no justification to ever use it. Imperius? Sure, sometimes taking control of others can be used for noble reasons. If you Imperius someone to stop them from killing another person, is that wrong? Even the Killing Curse is only as "evil" as the act of taking life itself, which isn't always immoral. Snape proved that in one of the most iconic twists in the whole series. But the Cruciatus Curse? Yeah, I got nothing. There's no reasonable excuse to ever use it on someone. Which makes it kind of disturbing, in retrospect, that this was the Unforgivable Harry used multiple times and eventually got good at....
But Rakepick also specialized in it, seemingly. I have to say, speculating about her first use of the spell is kind of simplistic itself. Why did she torture that random dude? Easy, he was there, and she was bored. But I do think it's a bit more than that. She did it because she wanted MC to see her doing it. This was a lesson, and I bet it was supposed to be similar to Merula trying to teach MC the Killing Curse. If R ordered Rakepick to do this, then it was undoubtedly one of their many attempts to corrupt MC, to groom them for future leadership. Better get them desensitized to the Dark Arts sooner rather than later, right? It's something they'll need to become well-versed in, and morally tolerant of, if they're ever going to ascend and take the throne.
That being said, this scene right here, of Rakepick torturing some random dude just because? Is one of the scenes that really best demonstrates the waste of her character, at least to me. I've said it a million times but she was far more interesting and complex as an ally with an uncertain agenda, than she was as R's stooge. If we want a villain who relishes in the pain of others, who tortures their victims with the Cruciatus Curse as a pastime...well look, we've already got that. Bellatrix, Crouch Junior, Voldemort himself, even Umbridge enjoyed hurting the innocent. They were all unrepentant villains, and they were all sadists. We've got enough of those in this universe. But do you know what we've never had? A heroic character who stoops that low. A mentor figure, an ally, who uses the Cruciatus Curse, and does so with a smile on her face. This scene, in hindsight, is one of the greatest examples of what Rakepick was and could have been. As a one-note villain, this scene is...fine, I guess. But as a character who is on the same side as Jacob's Sibling, it becomes way more ambiguous, and I remember analyzing this scene even back then, how interesting it was. Because I hated Rakepick for what she was going, but I loved that we had a "friendly" character who went that far, who stooped that low.
*Sigh*

It was late at night, and Sirius and the rest of the Marauders had gone out to attend a meeting for the Order of the Phoenix. He was gone most evenings, though he would usually return before you went to sleep.
You were laying in bed with a lamp on, writing a letter to a friend while you waited for Sirius to come home. It was already an hour past the time Sirius estimated he’d be home, and you were beginning to doze off. Your eyes began to close slowly, the quill falling out of  your hand as you drifted off to sleep.
─────── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───────
A crash from outside of your bedroom pulled you out of your deep sleep, causing you to sit up abruptly. You looked beside you, but the bed was still empty.
“Sirius? Is that you?” You asked, standing up and heading towards your open bedroom door. The rummaging sounds stopped at the sound of your voice, and you peeked your head out of your room to check who was there.
Standing in your hallway was a young man dressed in all black robes, frozen in place. From his appearance, you could tell that he must’ve been no older than 18. His sleeves were rolled up, and there was a visible Dark Mark on his arm. Your face went pale at the sight, and your breathing picked up immediately. You stepped back, holding the door frame to steady yourself. Your mind was racing, and you couldn’t think of a viable solution on the spot.
The man pulled his wand out, pointing at you. “Don’t move!” He shouted, and his youthful voice confirmed that he must’ve been a new recruit to the Death Eaters.
You made a run into the bedroom, trying to get behind the bed before he could follow, but it was too late.
“Crucio!” He yelled, pointing his wand at you.
You collapsed to the ground in agony, rings of fiery torture flashing through your body. The pain was unbearable, searing bouts of pain wreaking havoc over your convulsing body. The man stood there, horrified at the scene in front of him.
Just then, the front door swung open, and Sirius’ voice rang through the air. “Y/n?” Hearing your cries of agony, he dropped everything that was in his hands and rushed to the source of the sounds. He pulled his wand out, holding it out in front of him.
The young Death Eater turned to face Sirius, raising his own wand. Before he could cast anything, Sirius was able to act first. “Expelliarmus!” He shouted, causing the Death Eater’s wand to fly out of reach, hitting a wall and bouncing onto the floor.
Giving him no time to react, Sirius casted another spell. “Incarcerous!” Multiple ropes shot out of the tip of his wand, binding the Death Eater so that he was unable to move. He fell to the floor, struggling in the ropes.
Sirius hurried into the bedroom, dropping to his knees in front of you. The stabbing sensation was beginning to fade, but you were still writhing in pain, curled up on your side.
Sirius had never felt so helpless: your screams were ringing through his mind, and he wished for nothing more than to be able to take the pain away from you. He would rather go through the curse a hundred times than watch you cry and suffer. He pulled you into his arms, cradling you as tears filled his eyes. He repeatedly apologised, holding your trembling body close.
As the pain finally ceased, you began to regain your senses back. Your ears were ringing, and your vision was blurry, but you were able to make out Sirius’ face above yours. You blinked slowly, exhaustion taking over your body.
“Y/n? Can you hear me?” He asked, his voice shaking.
After a moment, you nodded slowly. Tears were rolling down his face, and his eyes were full of guilt.
You sat up cautiously, holding your side where there was still an aching sensation. He pulled you into a hug, holding the back of your head with his hand. “I’m here now. You’re safe.” He assured you, letting you release shaky sobs into his shoulder.
The panic returned, and you were wide awake again. “I couldn’t move, Sirius. It was excruciating. I’ve never felt such agony before.” You cried, hugging him tight as he rubbed your back.
“What did he do to you?” He questioned, releasing you from his embrace and wiping your tears away with his thumb.
“He used the Cruciatus curse.” You replied, your voice almost a whisper.
An expression of both rage and sorrow flashed across his face. He shook his head, pulling you back into a hug. “I have to get you to St. Mungos. Do you think you can stand, sweetheart?”
You let go of him, using his shoulder to attempt to push yourself up. After a few moments, you shook your head. The pain had taken a toll on your body, and you were too weak to stand on your own.
Sirius stood up, lifting you into his arms and carrying you bridal style out of your bedroom. The two of you were reminded of the presence of the Death Eater in your hallway when Alastor Moody walked through your front door.
“Sirius. I didn’t think I’d be seeing you again tonight.” He spoke with his gruff tone of voice, striding over to the restrained man on the floor.
“I’m taking Y/n to St. Mungos. Will you be taking care of this?” He asked, looking over at Moody.
“That’s what I’m here for. Crucio is a nasty one. Better be on your way.” He replied, taking his wand out.
─────── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───────
Once you were checked into a bed for the night, the nurse had given you a pain-relieving potion and instructed that you try to get some rest before leaving you for the night.
Sirius sat at your bedside, holding your hand and rubbing the top of it with his thumb. You were exhausted, but you couldn’t seem to get yourself to sleep.
“I’m so sorry, Y/n.” He spoke, his voice dripping with regret. I should’ve been home. I let this happen.”
You shook your head, turning it to look at him. “Don’t blame yourself.”
“How can I not? This shouldn’t have happened. I should’ve come home when I said I would. It should’ve been me, not you.”
“Please, don’t say that.” Tears welled up in your eyes, threatening to spill. “I wouldn’t wish that pain on anyone. Especially not you.”
“I promise you, Y/n, I will never let anyone hurt you ever again.”
You offered him a weak smile, squeezing his hand. “You can go home, Sirius. No use suffering in that uncomfortable chair all night.”
“I’m not going to leave you. An uncomfortable chair is the least of my concerns. You should be sleeping by now. Close your eyes.” He pushed a strand of hair out of your face, cupping your cheek with his hand.
“I can’t. Every time I close my eyes…” Your throat tightened, making you unable to get the words out.
“Shh. It’s okay.” He stroked your hair, reassuring you. “How about I read you a book? I have your favourite in my bag.”
“You do?” You inquired.
“I always do. Just in case of emergencies.” He smiled, reaching into his bag and taking out the book.
“What kind of emergency requires my favourite book?”
“Clearly it was a good idea because it’s coming in handy right now.” He opened it to the first page, clearing his throat.
You smiled at him, turning onto your side to watch him read to you. The deeper he got into the story, the heavier your eyelids felt. Slowly but surely, his voice prodded you into a light but much needed sleep.
“Goodnight, Y/n.” He spoke softly, pressing a kiss to your forehead before settling into his chair to try and get some sleep.
He quickly realized that getting any sleep would be impossible. The images and sounds of you screaming in pain were tormenting his mind, causing immense waves of guilt and shame to wash over him over and over again.
─────── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───────
The next day, you had been cleared to go home with the expectation that you would avoid any strenuous task and get plenty of rest. Sirius had been instructed to ensure that you drink the pain-relieving potions twice a day, and to keep an eye on you to make sure that you were doing alright, physically and mentally.
He took his job very seriously, staying by your side all day, even when you were asleep. By evening, he was looking rougher than you.
"Sirius, you need to rest too. You haven't slept at all. How about you take a nice hot shower and then come back to bed?" You asked, giving him a reassuring look.
"I don't want to leave you." He said, anxiety clearly shining through his voice.
"I'll be okay for a few minutes without you. You can even leave the bathroom door open if it makes you feel any better. Plus, you've casted numerous concealment charms on the house. It's nearly impossible for anyone to get in." You took his hand, squeezing it gently. "I'll be okay. Moody said it wasn't a targeted attack, so we don't have to worry about them coming back."
"I know." He sighed, nodding. "Alright. I'll hop in the shower, but I'll be quick, okay? No more than ten minutes. Call me if you need anything." He gave you a quick peck on the lips before nervously heading to the bathroom.
He undressed, starting the shower and getting in. He let the warm water run down his face, closing his eyes. Flashes of last night's events ran through his mind, causing him to struggle to keep his tears inside. He smoothed back his wet hair, putting his hands on the shower wall in front of him to ground himself.
─────── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───────
As promised, Sirius returned to bed with you in no longer than ten minutes. His eyes were clearly red, though he sat next to you as if nothing had happened.
"Sirius..." You spoke softly, taking his face in your hands.
He looked at you, tears filling his eyes once more. The expression on his face caused you to get choked up, so you pulled him into a tight hug.
"I can't get it out of my mind, Y/n. That feeling, that desperate, helpless feeling, it's plaguing my every thought." He said, his voice breaking. "And if I'm in this much anguish from just seeing you in that state, then imagining what you must've experienced is too much to bear. How are you able to remain so strong? After what you went through, the torture you endured, how are you so resilient?"
"Because I have you, Sirius. I feel at ease when you're around because I know of the lengths that you would go to protect me." You let go of him, putting your hands on his shoulders.
"I'm sorry, Y/n, I'm being so selfish. This is about you, not me."
"You underwent trauma last night too. Please don't invalidate your own anxieties because you think that I had it worse. The important thing is that we are here for each other, and that I'm going to help you through this just as much as you're going to help me."
"Losing you is a fear that haunts my mind. That is why I'm so anxious about this situation. The world is a dangerous place right now, and seeing you get caught up in it was like seeing a nightmare come to life."
"I know. Every day that you're out there with the Order, I'm scared of losing you too."
"Don't you worry, darling. I'm not letting anyone get rid of me. I love you too damn much to leave so soon." He smiled softly, kissing your forehead.
"I love you too, Sirius."

Someone please write a fanfic with a scene like this—
or maybe just a little scene :0
This is what I feel like the aftermath will be when ‘that’ part happens in Sebastian’s questline
And maybe Ominis or MC will walk up on him and stop him—

Hope you like the drawing~💚🪄

Let's dive a little into Dark Magic and how Magic works in Hogwarts Legacy (or the whole Harry Potter world), shall we?
Firstly, I want to say than I love this world, but I don't know every detail about it, because I stopped reading any books of a certain author after reading the Harry Potter books as a teenager (and then reread them once as an adult). So maybe I'm simply not aware of the fact, but I feel the magic system isn't really well explained? Like, why are some wizards and witches more powerful than others?
In my mind, I think to be good at a spell you need to be good in two things:
1. Technique (How you wield the wand, the rhythm of the words for the spell)
2. The visualisation of what the spell is going to do
Let's take the famous 'Wingardium Leviosa' as an example.
To be able to cast it, you have to do the right movement with the wand and just the right pronounciation. But we also know that there is magic without using words or a wand, so it can't be the only thing.
So I think you also have to clearly see in front of your inner eyes, what's going to happen. In this case, how the feather will start to levitate. This would be possible, if you have a creative mindset or simply have made enough experiences to know, for example, how a feather looks and moves flying through the air.
But this gets harder with every spell. Seeing a feather levitate isn't that hard to imagine. But an animal, a chair, or something even bigger?
I think this is how great wizards and witches distinguish themselves from their peers - they are able to visualise even abstract things.
So in conclusion, I think, that means the better you are able to see a spell in front of your inner eye, maybe even with feelings, noises etc, the better the spell is going to be.
This would also explain, why the Unforgivable curses are as bad as they are. Because you have to imagine the pain, the control and the death clearly in your head. To be good at them you have to feel how it is to have absolute control over someone else, you have to imagine how umbearable the pain is, and how someone would look when dead - in every little detail.
This would explain why Ominis was able to do Cruciatus, even though he didn't really want to cause harm, because he experienced the pain on his own - so it wasn't hard to imagine it.
It also shows why Cruciatus from Sebastian on MC wasn't as strong, because he wasn't able to imagine them in that much pain.
And maybe it's just me, but I can clearly see, how this fucks you up, when doing repeatly. To imagine over and over in every little detail to torture, control and murder real people?
Maybe that's why using 'Bombarda' etc to fight isn't seen as bad, because in your head you're just imagine to throw them through the air, or break their leg etc..
I don't know if my thoughts make any sense and I surely have used the word 'imagine' a tad bit too often, but maybe you could see where I'm going with this.

If you value your mental health then don't think about the fact that Albus Severus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy had to sit through a Defence Against the Dark Arts class about the Unforgivable Curses after the events of Cursed Child.
Don't think about the fact that everyone was looking at them the whole time the Professor was talking, despite them purposefully sitting at the back of the class.
Don't imagine everyone whispering about the fact that Albus "didn't even need to be under the Imperius curse to do the things he did" because they don't know he only did it because Delphi tortured and threatened his best friend.
Don't think about everyone expecting it to be Scorpius that has a breakdown when the Cruciatus curse is mentioned, only to find out that it was Albus that was most affected.
Don't think about Albus shaking and having flashbacks of Scorpius' scream when the Professor talks about how painful the Cruciatus curse is.
Don't think about Scorpius doing his best to comfort his boyfriend without attracting attention to them both while Albus quietly tries not to cry aloud.
Don't think about Albus physically shaking as the Professor talks about how much of a risk of long-term damage there is with the Cruciatus curse, and don't think about Scorpius taking hold of his hand to remind him that he's still there and is still okay.
Just don't think about them having to sit there and relive the murder of Craig while everyone in the class whispers about the Killing curse.
Just don't think about it. Don't think about it at all.

I think what a funny question would be to Professor Weasley, why does the book say that you can learn the Unforgivable Curses?
That is quite the question, isn't it? The book that has everything the students "needs" and then some.
As a somewhat completionist, I wanted to learn them, but my MC is mostly a goody-two-shoes, lol.
That being said...that would make for a funny conversation...
*in the Transfiguration classroom*
Prof. Weasley: How have you been doing with your field guide? Any luck finding some pages?
MC: Well, yes, I've found quite a few already.
Wealsey: Wonderful! It seems you've been doing well in acclimating to this new world.
MC: I have a question, though...
Weasley: Yes?
MC, opens book: In the list of spells for me to learn, I see that I CAN learn the Unforgiveables.
Weasley: Oh dear... I don't know how-
MC: But you want me to completely fill out this book, right?
Weasley: I- that was the intention, yes, but-
MC: Alright! Time to learn some war crimes!
*MC runs out of the classroom*
Weasley:
Weasley: Merlin, what I have done?

with the killing curse you have to have actual intention for it to be successful. Moody even says in the books that the entire class could point their wands at him and say the words and he probably wouldn’t even get a nosebleed. then Bellatrix tells Harry that you have to really mean it. so even if Rowan’s death (or just any of our friends’ deaths) was done under R’s order and R*kep*ck feels guilty about it, she couldn’t have been that reluctant to carry it out because she had to have a genuine willingness to murder for it to work. that’s how it works for the cruciatus curse too, you need to actually mean it. so yeah i really don’t see how R*kep*ck can be redeemed after finding that out. there’s no coming back from what she did, she passed the point of no return a long time ago. icl i can’t even pretend to just slightly like or care about her anymore.
This is something that I think people can sometimes forget, but you're right. The Unforgivable Curse require a serious edge. This is why I had my doubts that Merula would be able to kill Rakepick when the moment came, even if she had a clear shot. I'd be surprised if any child could manage it. But there are exceptions to every rule and depending on who you are, what you've been through...with how much our choices make up a major theme in this universe, I could also see that being a counterargument. But we only have ourselves to give toward whatever choice we make. Harry did choose to use The Cruciatus Curse on Bellatrix, but he wasn't a sadist so it barely hurt her.
Rakepick may be irredeemable, but I don't think that means that the Killing Curse can't be used if your heart isn't in it. Snape was able to kill Dumbledore and we know he didn't want to do so. Hell, that incident is probably the greatest argument for the case that Dark Magic, even the Unforgivable Curses, can be used for noble purposes. Anyway, the point of Rakepick being little more than an assassin isn't to absolve her of guilt, it's to remember that there is blame to share. Somebody ordered Rowan's death. (Or at least, gave the order for one of MC's friends to die.) Most likely The Leader. And they're still out there. They have yet to face any responsibility for that, and are still very much a threat. This is why it still aggravates me that The Circle of Khanna was so prepared to call it after Rakepick was defeated. You guys know she wasn't acting alone, what are you playing at?

“I want to learn the curse, and I think it’s best if I cast it on you.”
“Very well, if that’s what you want. To perform the spell, raise your wand, point it at me and declare, ‘Crucio!’ Hold on as long as you can.”

In the dimly lit dorm room, shadows danced across the walls as your thoughts echoed in the silence. The air felt heavy with the weight of regret, and your mind replayed the haunting echoes of the Unforgivable curses that had become an unwelcome companion. The memories of that fateful use of the curses lingered, a bitter taste on your conscience.
Lost in contemplation, you gripped your wand tightly, the polished wood cool against your clammy palms. With a sudden surge of frustration, you flung it against the wall, the clash resonating through the room. The internal struggle between the desire for power and the realization of its consequences raged within you.
Amidst the internal turmoil, a knock on the door startled you. Composing yourself, you straightened your robes before opening it, expecting anyone but the unexpected visitor. To your surprise, Sebastian stood on the other side, a mix of concern and curiosity etched on his features.
"What do you want, Sallow?" you sighed, attempting to mask the turmoil beneath a forced smile.
Sebastian, undeterred by your facade, teased, "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." The jest faded as he sensed your genuine distress. "Is everything alright? Ominis and I were concerned when you never showed up today."
You brushed off the worry with a lie, but Sebastian's perceptive gaze saw through it. "You're sure?" he pressed, genuine concern in his eyes. "You can tell me anything, right?"
"Yeah, I know," you nodded, attempting to divert the conversation.
Sebastian, however, wasn't easily swayed. "So tell me, what's on your mind?"
"I'm just… thinking," you confessed, the weight of guilt evident in your voice. "What if Ominis was right about using the Unforgivable Curses? What if we truly had gone too far?"
Sebastian cut through your thoughts, recognizing the source of your turmoil. "The guilt of using the dark arts," he said, his voice empathetic.
“Unforgivable curses won’t work unless you really mean them. I had to want to cause pain. And for that, I shall never forgive myself.” Ominis’ words hauntingly echoed through your mind.
You nodded.
"If you didn't want to know how to use them, you could have told me," he pointed out. "I wouldn't have shown you how to—"
"I know, Sebastian," you interrupted, reassuring him. "But I did want to know. I didn't want to tell you no."
Sebastian sighed, a complex mix of understanding and regret reflected in his eyes. "I never wanted this burden for you, especially not out of love. The dark arts are a slippery slope, and the consequences are heavy. But we can't change the past. What matters now is how we deal with it together."
He entered the room, closing the door behind him. "Let's figure this out, face the consequences, and make amends where we can. We're in this together, no matter what."
As you both settled down to talk, the room echoed with the weight of your choices, but a shared commitment to navigate the challenges ahead cast a glimmer of hope amid the shadows.

What would have happened if…
Tumblr media
… Sebastian never casted Imperio on that goblin?
A nightly thought of myself and my headcanon:
If Sebastian had never cast Imperio on that goblin who was attacking Anne, I’m pretty sure she would have died OR been badly injured.
If this were the case, I’m sure she would have died anyway, the curse taking her even weaker and injured body over; killing her after some time.
Not able to take Anne to the catacombs, Sebastian could never use the relic.
Loosing his sister would push him into a deep, dark hole, where he finds himself lost and trapped. Blaming himself for not being able to protect his sister. He would cry every night, never laugh again, and barely show up at Hogwarts during that time. Solomon, who’s heartbroken and worries about Sebastian, might reach out to Ominis and MC, hoping that they can fix things.
Ominis and MC, both also mourning their loss of Anne, are shocked to see Sebastian’s state. They would take care of him, especially MC. She/He would take care that Sebastian would come back to his former self and fight him back to life.
MC would ask him to get himself together and return to Hogwarts. MCs words would include: "Sebastian, please. If not for me, then for Anne. Don’t let her die completely. She would urge you to return. You know I’m right“.
Eventually, he will return to his last year at Hogwarts. Would try a new beginning. Eventually, he would slowly realize his love for a girl/F!MC/M!MC, asking them out for the Yule ball and confessing one day.
He would get married and start his own family (No matter if he's with his wife or, if he’s with M!MC or Ominis, let’s make it clear - it would be totally fine, no matter if it’s not „well seen“ in this timeline).
His first child would be a boy, looking like the mother. The second one would be another boy. The third pregnancy/adoption would be twins. One boy and one girl. The girl would be called Anne. Hearing his wife’s/husbands wish to name her after his sister made him cry again. One night, holding his baby girl, he would look out of the window, tell his daughter about his sister - a strong and brave woman he couldn’t protect. But that he will do it better this time.
And eventually a bright star would shine more intensely at that moment as he spoke out that promise, like Anne did hear him and tell him that she’s his opinion; that she’s proud.
Sebastian would make peace with Solomon, inviting him over each second weekend, asking him for advice on raising children, and telling him about his fears of being a bad father. And Solomon would support him. "You're just as your father was - stubborn but loving. You carry much of him in you... becoming more and more like him. He and your mother would be proud, just as I am, Sebastian".
Sebastian would have had a hard time, but thanks to his friends and the love of his life, he returned to a healthy life and a happy family. He would become a healer or curse breaker in hope to help others who needs help - to be better than the healers and curse breakers when he needed them for Anne.
If he never casts Imperio...

Well, now I’m crying myself to sleep 🌹
Thought about the Imperio scene a long time and this is my personal headcanon. I will also try to write a one shot about this but since I’m sick this has to wait a bit longer 😂 still, I didn’t want to forget a thing so I quickly wrote it down 🙆🏻‍♀️
