just saw the last post and it made me very sensitive idk why but can you please write something like yn giving comfort/ emotional support for the knb boys (you pick) seeing those babies being comforted by their so is such a cute trope: (
GOM + Kagami - Getting comforted by s/o after a loss
Akashi
It was quiet in the locker room now. Everyone had left, and even the few stragglers of spectators who were in the stands were making their way home. Everyone except Akashi.
You waited patiently for him to come out. Knowing this was a difficult time for him, even if he had been an exemplary sport after his loss, he was probably feeling a lot of emotions he’d never felt before. You wanted to be there for him.
“[Y/N]? What are you still doing here?”
You looked up as Akashi suddenly appeared. Showered. Dressed. And out of his uniform. He looked like he did almost every other day you’d seen him. “I wanted to wait for you.”
He gave a soft smile and shrugged his bag up. “Thank you [Y/N]. I appreciate it. Really though, I’m fine. I didn’t think I would feel this way but…it’s a new experience. A new opportunity for learning.”
You offer him a soft smile back. Still in awe at how well Akashi was taking his first ever loss.
The two of you walk out of the stadium, where everyone had cleared out of now, as it started to rain. “Oh dear. That’s not good.”
“Must be a sign.”
“You certainly can’t walk to the station like this. Let me call a car and they can drop you off before they take me to the hotel.”
“Thank you Akashi-kun.” You tell him. Genuinely thankful that you wouldn’t have to walk in the rain as he pulled out his phone.
He unlocked the screen but then just held his phone there for a long moment. A blank, sort of wide eye stare illuminated by the screen. “….Akashi-kun?”
“I can’t call him.” You blinked at Akashi. Not sure what he was talking about. “I can’t call my father.”
You realize that his hand holding the phone was starting to shake. The pink cloud of his sportsmanship suddenly breaking away to dark clouds of doubt. He’d have to tell his father he lost. He’d have to tell his father than he failed.
Stepping forward you quickly wrap your arms around Akashi and hold him tight. The phone dropped from his hand with a clatter as he clung to you back. Drowned out by the sudden downpour that opened up from the sky. They could call for a car, or a cab, or his father later. They didn’t have to do that all right now.
Aomine
You sat in the waiting room, listening to the vague sounds of local TV news as you scrolled through your phone. Looking up once more to check the clock.
You knew that Aomine’s appointment was going to take a while, but you didn’t think this long. You were tempted to ask the nurse again how long this was going to take but you’d already used up your 3 allotted asks, and she was giving you the stink eye every time you got up to get a drink or use the restroom.
The double doors slide open, and Aomine walked through. His hands stuffed in his pockets. His eyes trained on the linoleum.
“Hey. How did it go? Did you get everything squared away?” You asked. Trying to sound chipper despite having sat here for several mind-numbing hours. He didn’t answer, or look up at you, and just kept walking out the door. “Aomine? Hey, Aomine!”
You sprint up to him once out the door and grab his arm. He jerked away roughly and kept walking. “Hey. What’s wrong. You asked me to come with you and drive you back home after your appointment, and now you’re blowing me off.”
“I wanna walk.”
“Walk? Aomine we’re not even in the same district as your apartment. Aomine….Aomine stop. Will you talk to me?”
He made it to the end of the block with you following him. This dazed look in his eyes like he was thinking about just walking into traffic. “My knee is shot.” He told you. “Doc said even with surgery & PT they can’t fix it.” The realization suddenly hit you before he even said it. “I can’t play basketball anymore.”
Your hand covered your mouth and you felt tears well up in your eyes. Basketball was everything to Aomine. If he couldn’t play, you didn’t know what he’d do with himself. “Aomine-kun…I’m so sorry.”
“Whatever. Had to end sometime.”
You were able to convenience him to go back to the car. He couldn’t walk home from here anyway. You made it about four turns from the hospital before Aomine suddenly curled up in the front seat and started to cry. Shock finally fading away and breaking open the dam inside him.
You immediately pulled the car over and turned on your hazards, before unbuckling your seat belt and draping yourself over him in a hug as best you could. “It’s gonna be ok Aomine.”
“What am I gonna do now?” He wailed.
You didn’t know the answer to that. But there had to be something he could do besides basketball. The two of you just had to figure it out.
Kise
“Ahhhh….[Y/N]cchi, I’m so nervous!”
“Why are you so nervous? Didn’t your manager say you were a shoo-in for this job?”
The two of you were on the way to a big model shoot in town. One for a national campaign, and one of Kise’s first. Up until now he had only been in local, albeit high profile, campaigns for his agency. This one would put his face all over Japan. His first real big break.
“They did, but it’s never done until it’s done. Ya know?”
“Just be confident!” You encouraged as you made your way up the stairs. “Once they see you, I’m sure they’ll book you right on the spot. You’re great Kise. Don’t you forget it.”
The blonde offered you a smile as you made your way further into the venue and on the shoot.
The two of you marveled at the size of it. National campaigns definitely had a lot more equipment and buy in than the local campaigns apparently.
You had just made your way past guest services when you saw Kise’s manager hurrying up to you. “Ah, manager-san. Hello! I hope I’m on time for the shoot.”
“Kise…there’s been a…slight change.”
You both look surprised as his manager explained that the campaign executives had decided to go a different direction. Something a little more edgy and dark. An aesthetic that Kise couldn’t fit into, in their opinion, so he had been cut.
“My sincerest apologies for not getting in touch with you before you arrived. I was just informed myself. Don’t worry, I’ll let them know that you still arrived and see to it that they pay for your time. This might not have worked out this time, but your promptness and team effort will really make headway on the next one.”
“Oh yes…of course.” Kise replied in his pseudo-positive attitude. Meanwhile the hand holding yours was gripping it very tight. “Please let them know that I appreciate their consideration. And that I look forward to hopefully working together on the next one.”
The two men bow, and you make your way back to the elevator. “I’m so sorry Kise.”
“I didn’t even get my foot in the door.” He replied. Finally revealing how crestfallen he was now that the doors were closed and you were alone. “Literally. They didn’t even let me in the door.”
He laughed once, but it quickly turned into a gulped sob he was trying to hold back. To which you quickly scoop him up in your arms for a hug. “Don’t let those jerks see you cry.”
“No. No. Of course not.” He agreed. Wiping his face and smiling again just as the doors opened. “Hey, there’s always an opportunity for me to become and actor, eh?”
Midorima
Today was the day. The test scores were out.
Shutoku continued with the, what you considered, barbaric tradition of posting everyone’s test scores out in the open for all to see. For people to judge and, in some cases, openly mock their classmates for their academic achievements.
You found your score very quickly. A respectable middle of the pack.
You then looked for Midorima’s score on the front run sheet and felt your gut drop when he didn’t break top 3. He was going to be crushed.
Scanning the crowd, you spot the green haired mop of Midorima’s head walking away and chase after him. “Midorima-kun!” He stopped and turned to face you. “Are you ok?”
“Yes. Why?”
“Well I….I know you were hoping to get top 3 on the exams. I just wanted to make sure you’re ok.”
“I’m not that fragile.” He said in a gruff tone as he hiked his bag higher. “I’ll just have to try harder next time.”
“I suppose that’s a good attitude.” You add as you follow along with him. “I know you worked hard this time too.”
“Man proposes, God disposes.”
You sigh as you hear Midorima’s motto. You knew he was trying to be practical about this, but you knew he was disappointed.
Stepping forward a couple paces, you turn and wrap your arms around his chest. Giving him a big hug. “You did a good job Midorima-kun.”
You felt him tense for a moment. Then relax. Then a hand came up to softly land on your shoulder. “Thank you [Y/N].”
Releasing him, you smile up at Midorima. “Do you want me to help you study for the next one?”
“That would be nice. Thank you.”
Mursakibara
It was usually quite around this time at school. Most clubs and activities had ended for the day, with everyone heading him. You had just finished up your club and were waiting for Murasakibara to finish up with his practice.
You waited and waited until you saw him. Shuffling out into the hall with a much slower gait than usual. “Murasaki-kun? Is everything ok?”
“No.” He replied quickly. “Muro-chin is mad at me.”
“Mad at you?” That was unusual. “Why is he mad at you?” The purple haired giant shrugged. “Are you sure he’s mad then?”
“Yes.” He answered, again quickly. “He yelled at me and called me stupid.”
Your eyes widen in alarm. That was very unlike Himuro, who was usually so patient with his teammate. “I’m…sorry that happened Murasaki-kun. Maybe he’s just going through a lot right now.”
“I don’t care.” He seemed to really mean it. “He shouldn’t have yelled at me. I’m not stupid.”
You could see that that really bothered him. People always assumed that because Murasakibara was a little childish and lazy, that he was stupid. He wasn’t. Usually he didn’t care too much about what people thought of him, but he respected Himuro and his opinion. And for him to call him stupid really hurt his feelings.
“I’m sorry Murasaki-kun. I’m sure he didn’t mean it. He’ll apologize.”
“I’m not stupid.”
Stepping forward, you wrap your arms around Murasakibara’s waist after he repeated the insult. Clearly very hurt. Squeezing him tight you told him, “I know you’re not,” and just held on to him for a while. His attitude seemed to improve a little after the hug and you told him, “let’s stop by the parfait shop on the way home. My treat.”

sanzu learns he has a son after his ex holds him as blackmail

------------
Sanzu was infuriated when his ex sent him the photos.
He had a son.
He seemed no older than three but he was a spitting image of him.
There was no doubts as Sanzu grabbed the Haitani brothers and bolted to the location that Bontens hackers had tracked her phone from.
He was going to kill her for hiding his son from him and then using the boy to blackmail him!
The Haitani brothers said nothing as they watched the new dad drive like a maniac through Tokyo until they reached a run down apartment, Sanzu storming in Glock in hand and The brothers followed suit with curious looks in their eyes.
Kicking down the door Sanzu aimed his gun at the woman he once dated, he could never say he loved her as she was really just a bed warmer but now he felt something for her.
Pure hatred.
“H-how?!” She yelped and scrambled as Sanzu shot right beside her head “you really should have used a burner phone” Ran said smoothly as Rindou and him pointed at her, the woman freezing and allowing Sanzu to grab his son who was bound and duct taped to a chair, bruised and crying.
“Take him to the car, I need to have a chat with (mother’s name)” Sanzu said coldly and the room went silent as the Haitani brother’s freed the child and carried him out.
Leaving the happy couple together.
“so you wanted to blackmail Bontens second?”
“u-uh”
The neighborhood knew better than to call the cops when they heard those bloody screams and the sounds of bones snapping until silence.
“hey bud let’s get that tape off you” Ran said softly as he removed the excess tape off the child and slowly peeled the tape covering his mouth and felt his heart stop.
Two bloody diamonds on each side of his mouth.
“holy shit…” Rindou mumbled as the child began sobbing quietly, little body shaking with each sob “don’t worry buddy, you don’t gotta worry about here now” rindou said awkwardly as Ran soothed the kid as Sanzu opened the door, “Get to the front” he said coldly as blood stained his suit and the Haitani brothers looked at him before speaking “Look what she did”
And look he did.
Sanzu felt his blood run cold when he saw the matching diamonds on the boys face and if the Haitani brothers saw him cry they would never say anything and left to the front seats to give the two privacy.
“hey bud…I’m your papa” those words felt strange on his tongue as he gently wiped the tears from the boys face “I-im sorry!” The baby boy sobbed out as Sanzu pulled out his pocket square to clean the boy up “why are you sorry?”
“I look l-like you!”
What?
“did your mama do this to you because you look like me?”
He only nodded.
Jesus fuck.
What the actual fuck?
“you never have to be sorry for your mother’s actions, you’re a Bonten baby now and i will keep you safe” No one would ever believe that the most morally bankrupt man in Bonten would be so soft “what’s your name?”
“(name) (lastname)…” (Name) mumbled once he was calmed down and wounds cleaned as best as Sanzu could “well now you are (name) Akashi now” he said softly before the car slowed down and a gentle knock came from the partition and that was their queue as Sanzu gently lifted the battered and bruised child.
“let’s get you cleaned up, I got some people I want you to meet” Sanzu said carrying the boy out, heart heavy at the events that transpired.
By time (name) was treated and cleaned up, he was asleep in the pink haired mans arms and the room was quiet as the men watched curiously.
“do you even know how to care for a child?” Koko asked genuinely and the others couldn’t help but agree “I raised Senju, at least this time I don’t have to teach them about periods” Sanzu said slightly annoyed while draping his jacket over the boy.
“he will never know pain and suffering again” Sanzu said coldly while holding the boy closer and the room felt a shiver at the empty tone in that man’s voice.
God help anyone who hurts the child if Sanzu.
“Well daddy Sanzu, you should probably get him home and actually get child supplies” Ran said teasingly “kids need a bed time”
“don’t come in tomorrow” Mikey said bluntly while staring down his second “what do you mean?” Sanzu said confused, eyes scrunching together “be with him”
“he needs his dad”

Kawaragi/Akashi Senju x fem!reader
Content: fluff (*´꒳`*)💖
a/n: contains manga spoilers
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
"I bought you this" Senju said giving you a bag, inside was a square pattern pink and white dress with a white t-shirt. "Do you like it!?"
"Of course, love" A smile in your face and also in Senju's. "I have the same one but in blue, we are matching outfits for our picnic date"
"Really!? I would love that!" You knew that Senju was always busy with Brahman things so you didn't have a lot of dates with she that's why you were so happy and excited about it. "Anything for my princess" She gave you a quick peck on your lips.
It was like a dream, a sunny day, your table was surrounded by a lot of flowers and you were with the love of your life, you can't ask for nothing more.
Eating delicious food that you prepared while you were talking random things. "(Y/N), I didn't told you this when I saw you but you look stunning, I'm so lucky to have a beautiful girlfriend" Your face was so red that you tried to hide under your hands and stop having eye contact. "Stop s-saying things like that, I think I'm having a heart attack, Senju...by the way you look stunning too"
Then your hands where away from your face and you saw Senju a little blush in her cheeks, the warm breeze moving her hair and blue eyes watching you like you were the most perfect woman in the world. Yes, you're having a heart attack. Senju was sitting in front of you and in seconds she was by your side, took your cheeks and gave you a kiss.
"I love you so much"
"I love you more, thanks for this, I know that you're always busy" You gave her a kiss in the cheek. "Please, I want more moments like this, I want you here with me, knowing that you are not injured or in danger"
"Maybe I will be in danger but never injured I don't want to see you cry and my strong comes from your smile, so don't care too much, love" A little giggle sound from such a cheesy line but you loved it, you gave her another kiss in the cheek. "Just be safe"
"We don't have to talk about this, what if we make a flowers' crown?
" Yes" You answered with a bright smile.
When you were done, both interchange de crowns and put it in the top of your heads.
"You're my queen"
"The same for you, Senju"

Hope you've smiled today. (´• ω •`) ♡

So it's that time of month for me and I was wondering if I could get a scenario with Akashi and Midorima (separately) of the boys taking care of their gf who's on their period??? From soothing their cramps to buying their cravings and to dealing with the huge hormonal mood swings pleaseee~ Currently boyfriendless so this is the closest I can get to satisfying my period needs... Bonus if you can throw in some fluff and cuddling too. Thank you~~~
Anon, I totally get you, I do. I thought I needed to answer this asap b/c the need for sweetness is real on those kinds of days. Of course fluff and cuddles is a given. I hope this helps you feel better.
Akashi
Aftersearching the vastness of the mansion for a few minutes, he found you in thestudy. You were curled up in a ball on an armchair, staring out of the windowat the garden. Akashi wondered at your sudden taciturn withdrawal and knelt infront of the armchair. He gave you a small smile as you looked down with a dullgaze.
“It’snot like you to shut yourself up on such a nice day. Is something wrong, love?”He slid his fingers between yours, thumb stroking over your skin.
Youtightened your grip on his hand and sighed. “I just need to be alone for awhile. I’ll be okay sooner or later.”
Hefrowned slightly. “Sooner or later?” This didn’t sound very encouraging. “Areyou feeling unwell?”
Yourubbed your face wearily, wondering how to tell him. It wasn’t something youdiscussed with anyone, much less Akashi. “I’m kind of- Never mind, I’ll justtell you. I’m on my period right now, and I’m really annoyed. That’s why I’mavoiding everyone.”
Ablink was his only reaction. He was just relieved you weren’t coming down withsomething. “I see. I didn’t realize.”
Youshifted uneasily on the chair, unable to find a position that would relieve theinsistent pressure on your spine. “Yeah, it was terrible. I snapped at a maidthis morning for brewing the tea too long. It wasn’t even that big of a deal, but I think I terrified the poor girl. The world will thank me for staying outof the way for a while.”
Hewas slightly amused by this drastic turnaround. You were normally composed andrather soft-hearted, which is probably why you mysteriously loved him. “I’llmake sure she isn’t too traumatized,” he said with a chuckle. “But you seem tobe in a great deal of discomfort. How can I help?”
Yougrimaced as a particular angle sent a spasm of pain down your abdomen. “Honestly– urgh, that hurts – if you could sedate me till this ends, I’d be eternallygrateful.”
Akashistood up and narrowed his eyes in thought. “Wait here for a moment. I’ll beback soon.”
Youwatched him go with mild curiosity, wondering what he had in mind. The answersrevealed  themselves when he returnedwith a soft throw and wrapped you up in it. You felt like a rather large rabbitwith the furry blanket around you, but it was so deliciously comfortable.
“Ah,thank you, that feels- WHOA!” You yelped as Akashi lifted you off the chair inhis arms, the action apparently requiring no effort on his part. You wrappedyour arms around his neck, staring at him with wide eyes.
Heanswered the unspoken question. “We’re going to the living room.”
Oncethere, you were set down carefully on a plush couch stacked with pillows. Before you could sink back gratefully onto them, Akashi shook his head at you. “Letme set this for you first.”
Heslid a square, cushion-like object between the small of your back and the curveof a pillow. You couldn’t help but moan in relief as a wave of heat spread outfrom the hot-water bottle, softening the cramping muscles in the exact rightspot.
Youmelted into a puddle of relief against the sofa and opened one eye to look atAkashi. He was smiling with gentle amusement. “How did you know what I needed?”
Hetucked the fluffy folds of the blanket around your legs. “I guessed from theway you were holding yourself that your back was hurting. Is there anythingelse I can get you?”
Yousettled deeper into the couch and scrunched your toes against the velvetysurface. He had even picked the best sofa, in a soothingly warm room. “Can I bedemanding and selfish?”
Akashi’seyes sparkled with laughter, liquid ruby in the sunlight. “Always, ___.”
Youpursed your lips in thought. “Some chocolate would be nice. And I really wantto cuddle.”
“Thatcan be arranged.” He left briefly and returned with two mugs of hot cocoa. Youtook one from him, letting the heat seep into your fingers and sniffing therich liquid appreciatively. He set his down and shifted your body to make room. You ended up with him cradling you, resting your back against the breadth ofhis chest. He pulled you closer and pressed a kiss to your hair.
“Areyou sure this is alright?” He bracketed you with his arms and legs, a warm, comfortable cage.
“Thisis good. You feel like a hot-water bottle yourself.” You let your body go slackagainst the strength of his toned frame.
Hisanswering chuckle ruffled your hair. “A high compliment indeed.”
Hishands began to rub firm circles into your shoulders, easing out tense knots. You didn’t think it was possible, but the press of his strong fingers on yourskin had you relaxing some more. The combination of his warmth, the hotchocolate and the general feeling of being loved eased the wrenching pull onyour core. You felt the need to thank Akashi profusely.
“Sei,you’re perfect. I thought I knew that, but I didn’t realize how much. Will youmarry me?”
Akashi’seyes went wide with surprise before the amusement washed over him again. “Pfft. That was…unexpected.” You felt his shoulders shake with the effort of holdingback laughter. “Are you sure you’ll feel this way tomorrow when you’re not inpain?”
“Probably.”You snuggled deeper into him and lightly kissed his neck. “If not, there’salways next month.”
Asoft huff of laughter was his only reply, and he couldn’t help but hug you alittle tighter. “Well, I’ll be here either way.”
Midorima
He was in the processof sorting through some old files and papers when he first heard the sound.Midorima swivelled his head in the direction of the bedroom, listeningintently. It came again, a muffled whimper. He immediately set aside thefolders to investigate, frowning with worry.
Walking into thebedroom, he saw you sitting on the floor, head on your knees, tears streakingyour face. Your shoulders hunched as you tried to contain soft sobs. Thefeeling of anxiety locked his shoulders tight, had him reaching out to touchyour wrist.
“What happened to makeyou upset, ___?”
You looked up into hisconcerned green gaze, eyes blurring with tears. A whole of host of emotions waswreaking havoc with your mind, as loneliness and an unbearable sadness mixed togetherlike paint in water. “Shin-kun, I- it’s just too hard, and I can’t do itanymore!”
His jaw set, thoughhis expression was still calm. “What is?”
You gesturedhelplessly at the notebook next to you. “I’ve been trying to write this scenefor ages, but it never works out right somehow. The draft is due next week, ifI don’t finish it on time, the editor’s never going to forgive me. But I’vebeen trying and trying and-“ You bit your lip and looked away as a fresh waveof tears threatened to overwhelm you.
Midorima tilted hishead in thought, taking in the dark circles under your eyes and your stiffposture. You started speaking tremulously, uneasy. “I-I know it’s unreasonableand that’ll it work out somehow, but I’m just really frustrated right now and-“
“___,” he cut in witha wave of his hand, “is it…it that time of the month for you right now?”
You slumped againstthe bed. “Yes,” you whispered. “I know somewhere at the back of my mind that’swhy I’m feeling like this, but it doesn’t actually stop me from feeling thatway. Sorry, Shin-kun.”
His mouth became a flatline. “There’s no need to apologize for something you have no control over, nanodayo. It is understandable. Perhaps a short rest would help.”
You stood up shakilywith his help, wincing as the movement sent pain shooting through your lowerbody. He noticed, frowning again as you sat down gingerly on the bed. “I willmake some tea for you.”
Midorima did justthat, and for a while you could only hear the hiss of a kettle and the clinkingof crockery. At one point, you thought you heard the front door close, but youcouldn’t be sure. He returned with a tray, the scent of chamomile wafting froma cup. He held it out delicately with a serious expression.
“That will soothe anypains you have, nanodayo.”
You took the cup fromhim gratefully and gave him a small smile. “Thanks, Shin-kun. What’s the other stuffon the tray?”
A small cat toy wasplaced into your palm, its mischievous face set in a wink. Midorima folded hisarms with gravity.
“Your lucky item forthe day was a cat. I took the opportunity to buy it when I went to the shop forcoffee jelly, nanodayo.”
You nuzzled thesmiling cat affectionately, a surge of gratitude and love spreading throughyour chest. “Come here, Shin-kun, I need to give you a hug.”
He coloured, a cutelyappealing shade of pink dusting his cheeks. “I-It’s not necessary if you’refeeling unwell-“
You stamped down onhis protests and tugged at his hand until he was forced to give in. Midorimatucked you into his side with a sigh and pushed up his glasses. You just smiledand buried your face in his shirt, sliding your legs between his. You exhaledin relief as your spine relaxed and some of the pain disappeared.
“Is this what youwanted?” Midorima sounded resigned, but his hand was stroking your hip gently.
“Hmm, yeah. It feelsgood to be stretched out.” You closed your eyes, settling into a peacefulrhythm as you idly ran your hands through his hair. “Shin-kun’s hair is sosoft. I’m envious.”
He lifted a lock ofyour hair and let it slip through his fingers. “Yours is silkier, nanodayo.”
You hummed inhappiness as he pressed you closer to him, your body nestled against the warmthof his tall frame. He seemed content to let you soak in the silence, hisfingers curling in your dress. After a while, when you were beginning to dozeoff, he spoke.
“Does it hurt a lot?” Hisvoice was quiet.
“Hmm?” You peered upat him. His face was tinged pink again. “Does what hurt?”
“When you…” He trailedoff hesitantly, but you caught on.
“Oh. Most of the time,no. I don’t even feel anything. But the first day, it’s quite bad. I don’t knowhow to describe it…like having your insides pulled out with a hook is one wayto put it.”
His mouth curled downunhappily. “That sounds very unpleasant, nanodayo. I cannot imagine having todeal with this every month. I realize this must seem a foolish sentiment toyou.”
You laughed a little, still sleepy, and cuddled further into his chest. “No, I get it. I’m sure Iwouldn’t understand it either if it didn’t happen to me.”
He went silent againfor a while before speaking. “How do you cope? If it is so uncomfortable?”
You tried to scrapetogether enough awakeness to answer him. His hands were tracing circles overyour back and the soothing motion made it hard to think. “Hmm…you just do? Youget used to it over time and find the things that make you feel better. And,”you stifled a yawn, “wonderful boyfriends like you help.”
Your eyes drifted shutagain, but not before you caught his flushed face. He stammered, thrown for aloop. “I- I just don’t want to see you cry, nanodayo! I know you well, so it’seasier to help,” he mumbled.
“Whatever you say,Shin-kun.”

Can I request AoKawa? Where Ahomine uhm shows his bf to the rest of the gom for the first time? Fluff and comedy please, especially their reactions and faces? Also, totally off topic but I think Kasamatsu and Iwaizumi would get along well, whadaya think? Thank you!!!
YES DEAR! YESYOU CAN ASK IT! THANK YOU FOR IT! *composed herself again* I’ve had a lot offun writing this! Just a few things in case you haven’t read my hc: Kagami goesto the same university as Oikawa and Aomine, but he’s in a different room; he’sthe main reason they didn’t starved to death the first months. Kise is the onewho introduced Aomine and Oikawa to each other; the rest doesn’t know him.
About theKasamatsu thing: YES! I have this absolute love for the idea of a double dateIwaOi + KiKasa (IwaOi is my Canon OTP, AoKawa my Crossover OTP) where Iwaizumiand Kasamatsu bond over how childish and annoying their boyfriends can be,exchanging tips and suggestion to how tame them. (Kasamatsu is still shockedIwaizumi has survived Oikawa from childhood)
Oikawa and The Rainbow Guys
Oikawa and Aomine were strolling in a park not too far from their apartment, bashing in the afternoon sun and comforted by the laughter of children around them. Oikawa was fully covered with different layers of clothes even if it was only October, while the second only wore a light blue jacket over his black hoodie with short sleeves.
“Aren’t you happy we are on a date?” Aomine rolled his eyes, huffing and giving a side-glance to his boyfriend.
Oikawa blinked, wrapped in his warm scarf, and tilted his head confused since he hadn’t complained yet. He was truly happy about the date. Usually, it was always him the one who dragged Aomine outside, after hours of pouting and whining; so, when that early afternoon, the boy had asked him to go out together, Oikawa had risked exploding from the excitement. Yet, that day there was something strange about Aomine’s behavior, but he couldn’t exactly spot what.
“We’re going to play basketball,” Oikawa decided to tease him a bit, with a grin.
“The best kind of date,” Aomine argued, smirking and flicking his forehead.
“I play volleyball,” Oikawa pointed out and the other rolled his eyes again. As if he didn’t know: he humbly thought that there was nothing hotter than his boyfriend setting or serving, but he wasn’t going to say it out loud.
“Still a good date.”
“Well…” Oikawa purred, brushing casually with the head against his shoulder, “It doesn’t feel really date-y like right now…” he alluded childishly, showing him the best puppy eyes he had.
“Yeah, yeah I know,” Aomine growled trying to be annoyed, but his grin betrayed him. Without Oikawa adding anything else, he just grabbed the brunette’s hand and interlaced their fingers.
“Better?” he hummed quietly, looking ahead with the tan skin of his cheeks slightly reddish.
Oikawa giggled, hiding till the nose in the muffler.
“Better,” he agreed satisfied, giving him a fond glance.
Ah, that was it. Aomine was strangely more kind and compliant than usual. Not that he had ever treated Oikawa poorly, but he had rough manners and a blunt personality. And he was like a cat: lazy, unpredictable and spoiled in his own way.
Without Oikawa realizing it, they had arrived at the street basketball court. And, thinking back about it, maybe he should have paid more attention. Because what he was expecting was an afternoon spent goofing around with Aomine, trying to learn how to play, and then end up kissing his boyfriend laying on the court. Well, he was mistaking.
The court was already occupied and, with his great horror, he recognized a giant with flaming red hair and another well-known sparkling blond head. He tried to stop on the spot, his brain quickly realizing what was going to happen, but Aomine mercilessly dragged him inside.
“Dai-chan wai-“ he whispered terrified. He wasn’t ready at all. That coward of a…
“Oi guys!” Aomine shouted to have the attention of the group of rainbow guys there reunited, “Here's my boyfriend. We’re going to play with you,” he announced, raising their linked hands.
… idiot boyfriend.
Oikawa observed horrified the reactions of that group.
Kagami slammed a hand against his forehead, sighing deeply and shaking his head. He really couldn’t believe Aomine had just done something like that.
A green-haired boy froze in the middle of a shoot, goggling at them dumbfounded, and the ball comically bounced on his head.
The violet-haired one with the arms full of food stopped eating, with a candy popping out from his mouth, and blinked at them, caught by surprise.
A redhead stumbled to his feet and looked up at Oikawa with creepy, inquiring eyes.
A cute girl with pink hair started crying, covering her mouth with both hands.
Fuck.
And in the middle of everything, Kise burst into a loud laughter.
“Ki-chan!”  Oikawa yelled at him, on the verge of a hysterical crisis, and the blonde ran towards him with his arms wide open.
“Oikawacchi!” he greeted the brunette cheerfully, jumping on him for a wild hug. Oikawa left Aomine’s hand and caught him, staggering a bit. “How are you?” he asked, bubbling.
“My idiot boyfriend has just introduced me to his former teammates, practically his second family, in the worst way possible. How do you think I am?” he replied in a hiss with a stifled, nervous smile; he was doing his best to not cause a scene or panic publicly.
Kise laughed again, letting him go but still keeping an arm around his shoulder.
“Sorry Oikawacchi!” he chirped grinning, “I didn’t manage to stop him!” he explained giggling, but Oikawa’s glare froze his blood.
“You knew it?” he asked with a dangerously sweet tone, and Kise gulped realizing his mistake, “You’re going to pay for this, Ki-chan, you're going to pay” Oikawa added with a sugarcoated smile that promised hell.
Before that the terrified blonde, he had recently discovered how dangerous Oikawa could be, could answer, Aomine, annoyed, shoved Kise away with a small kick in the back.
“Hands off,” he muttered narrowing his eyes and, on any other occasion Oikawa would have beamed, loving to see his boyfriend getting protective of him, but not now. Now he only wanted to punch Aomine square in the face.
“Hands off, my ass!” he hissed, staring angrily at him, “You didn’t even say my name, you stupid basketball head! Brute! That’s not how you introduce your boyfriend!” he protested with red cheeks, crossing his arms.
Aomine scratched his nape, averting his eyes embarrassed. Damn, he knew Oikawa was going to complain, but it hadn’t been easy for him either. However, he had wanted them to see the real Oikawa, the one he fell for. He knew that if he had told Oikawa about the meeting, he would have prepared himself and built again his charming, polite, composed and perfect façade for the occasion; he would have probably studied them beforehand to be sure to give what he thought it was his best impression. And Aomine couldn’t stand his fake smiles anymore, especially after they had started officially dating. His childish or excited ones were far better.
“Ah yes…” the tanned boy mumbled, noticing how all his friends had started to gather around them, “He’s-”
“Oikawa Tooru, volleyball player. Setter and captain. He had played with Kitagawa Daichi and then Aoba Jousai. Considered the best setter of the Miyagi Prefecture. Currently playing in his university team and training for the Japan Youth Team. Nicknamed The Grand King,” Akashi interrupted him, giving an extremely detailed explanation of who he was.
Oikawa paralyzed, looking at the redhead stunned. Was he a stalker or what?
“Is it normal?” he whispered worriedly at Aomine.
The boy sighed, rubbing his temples. That was exactly why he didn’t want to bring Oikawa with him. Obviously, his former captain didn’t give a damn about that.
“I’m Akashi Seijuurou, former captain of the Generation of Miracles. The Emperor. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you,” Akashi introduced himself, stretching his hand to Oikawa with a polite smile, “I usually keep track of my friends’ life, however, I had unfortunately missed the most recent…even,” he added, far too interested in the boy.
Something in his tone or his choice of words, ticked off Oikawa’s pride. Straightening a bit and showing his intimidating, captain’ smile, he shook it confidently.
“The pleasure is mine,” he replied smoothly with matching politeness, their eyes both shined dangerously in a way Aomine definitely didn’t like. Emperor and King? Not the best match. Well, at least Oikawa beamed realizing he was taller than Akashi: he was up to the (undefined) challenge.
“Tooru-kun!” the girl who he had seen crying, suddenly throw himself onto Oikawa, who let himself be hugged, without knowing how to react, “I’m so happy to finally know you! Dai-chan always talked on and on about you, but refused to let me meet you! He didn’t send me a photo either! To think he had conquered a good-looking and talented guy like you! Thank you for putting up with him, I know he’s a bother but he’s kind. Deep down,” she complained with an adorable pout, dividing himself from him and showing a bright smile.
“I’m Momoi Satsuki, Dai-chan’s childhood friend.” At her words, finally Oikawa relaxed a bit. Alright, she knew her name and Aomine had talked about her too, so some pieces of the puzzle started getting in their place. A childhood friend, currently living in another city and frequenting an elite university, former manager with freaking skills about analyzing and predicting players’ development, the strategist of the team. Everything was under control. For a moment, Oikawa had feared she was some ex-girlfriend or something similar.
“It’s a pleasure, Momoi-chan!” he chirped happily, glad to finally know a person who held such a special place in his boyfriend’s heart. To be honest, he had wanted to meet all of them from the start, but not like that, okay? Not unprepared, not without having organized what to say and how to introduce himself in the best way, not while wearing his alien t-shirt. What if they didn’t like him and persuaded Aomine he wasn’t worthy? He loved being a drama queen, but he would have liked to avoid Romeo and Juliet’s kind of love story.
“Talked on and on?” Oikawa then mused at Aomine, raising an eyebrow, and the boy coughed embarrassed, “So sappy!” the brunet mocked him playfully, but feeling a sparkly bubble in his chest. Well, Aomine wasn’t the gossiping or talkative guy: knowing he had talked about him with Momoi was important for Oikawa.
“I didn’t know you were this sappy too, Aomine-kun.” A quiet, sudden voice rose from beside Oikawa, scaring the hell out him.
He screeched, practically jumping into his boyfriend’s arms and Aomine chuckled amusedly at his exaggerated reaction. He was waiting for that from the start.
“Ah, sorry. I’m Kuroko Tetsuya,” The faint, calm guy who had appeared literally from nowhere introduced himself politely, “I’m happy to meet you in person.”
When did he arrive? Was he already there? What the hell?
Oikawa, embarrassed, elbowed Aomine, who was still laughing, and composed himself, shaking Kuroko’s hand with a polite smile. While he was doing that, a sudden thought crossed his mind and he turned to look at Kagami, dumbfounded.
“Tiger-chan! Is he your boyfriend? The ghost player?” he asked excitedly, with starry eyes. Finally!
Aomine scoffed, Kise laughed at hearing “Tiger-chan” and even Kuroko arched his eyebrow with a glint of amusement.
“Yeah, yeah,” Kagami huffed scratching his head, “Happy to see you Oikawa. Again,” he greeted him without enthusiasm. He had seen him only five hours ago when the brunette had busted into his room asking again how to cook curry rice because Aomine was outside and he was hungry. No need to add that, in the end, Kagami had cooked for him.
The guy ignored his exasperation and looked curiously at Kuroko, who returned the stare with the same interest. They only knew each other thanks to the respective boyfriend and friend and wanted to confirm with their own eyes if the other was as amazing as they described it.
“I’m happy that you seem normal, at least,” Oikawa exhaled gladly after some seconds, “Except for the ghost thing.”
“Sorry, they can be overwhelming,” Kuroko nodded, understanding where he came from. As if he wasn’t as crazy as them.
“Ehm, ehm,” the green-haired guy coughed to have Oikawa’s attention and offered his hand, “Midorima Shintarou,” he introduced himself briefly.
“Ah, Oikawa Tooru,” The brunette repeated, tilting slightly his head to the right; if he wasn’t mistaken, Midorima was something like a perfect shooter or…
“I’ve happened to see you playing on TV,” Midorima added, fixing his glass, “You’ve really an amazing aim to serve like that,” he complimented him, stiff and awkward.
Yes, he was definitely the shooter.
“Thank you, Midorima-kun,” Oikawa replied smiling, more relaxed when talking or even just mentioning volleyball.
“So this is Mine-chin’s boyfriend?” the violet giant towered over Oikawa, who shifted uncomfortably. Why they had to be that tall? He really felt like hiding behind Aomine in that moment. He was surrounded by giants.
“Yes. Oikawa Tooru,” he replied stretching out his hand.
The boy ignored it and patted his head.
“So tiny,” he commented before placing in the brunette’s hand a packet of gummy bears, “Eat them. I’m Murasakibara Atsushi,” he said expressionlessly.
Oikawa gritted his teeth, clenching his fist around the gift and with a vein popping on his forehead, and smirked surrounded by a menacing aura.
“Dai-chan, is your friend picking a fight? Is he?” he hissed with a dangerous glint in his eyes and Aomine hurried to wrap an arm around his waist to keep him calm.
“H-he isn’t. Calm down,” he huffed, trying to conceal his amusement, but Oikawa knew him too well.
“I’m not short, it is you guys who are monsters!” he pouted at him, puffing out his cheeks.
“Yeah, yeah,” Aomine smirked, proud of being taller than him, “Sure.”
Murasakibara just gave him a pitying glance.
Midorima, Kagami and Kise exchanged a guilty look. Well, he was shorter than them…
“I agree with Oikawa-kun,” Kuroko commented coldly, shooting what Oikawa thought it was a glare at Kagami, who shivered.
“Same,” Akashi sighed, crossing his arms, and Oikawa beamed up.
“See?” The brunet taunted his boyfriend, lifting the chin, “Listen to your Captain, Dai-chan,” he singsonged mischievously.
Aomine grinned, tightening the hold around his waist and pulling him closer.
“Now you team up with him?” he purred in his low, deep voice; his hungry eyes lingered on Oikawa’s lips a second too much.
“Please, guys! Take a room!” Kise howled at them, smirking, and Kagami snorted.
Aomine rolled his eyes letting Oikawa distance himself a bit, with flushed cheeks. The brunette still managed to glare at the blonde. Oh, Kise was gonna pay for everything. However, seeing Midorima’s embarrassed expression and Momoi, Kuroko and Akashi’s definitely too curious and interested ones, he decided to postpone the kiss. It would have been like doing it in front of your cousins or brothers, no? And to be honest, those three seemed ready to take photos of the two of them like some sort of scary aunts.
“Okay, okay,” Aomine grumbled annoyed, deciding he had enough for that day, “The show is finished. You’ve met him and embarrassed us, happy? We can move on,” he growled, letting the boy go and taking off his jacket. Oikawa instinctively stared at the defined muscles of his tanned arm, blessing that black hoodie, but quickly averted his eyes when he heard Kise chuckling.
“Eh?” Momoi whined disappointed, “But I wanted to ask him a lot of things! The first encounter! How did you met, the first kiss…” she listed with heart-shaped eyes, but Aomine snorted pushing, gently, her way.
“Not now Satsuki,” he interrupted her, “We’re here to play," he reminded all of them, a sort of hunger in his tone. At his words, all the guys brightened up and returned on the court, joking with each other and discussing the teams with flames in their eyes.
“Ready?” then Aomine asked Oikawa, ignoring the pouting Momoi who went to sit on the border.
The brunette blinked and pointed a finger at himself.
“Me?”
“Yes,” Aomine stated firmly, before unzipping his boyfriend’s jacket and taking it off for him since he didn’t seem inclined to do it by himself; he also took off the scarf and the gummy bears from his hands, throwing everything on the ground beside Momoi. That got Oikawa glaring at him, but briefly, since he had a more compelling problem.
“Basketball. With the Generation of Miracles,” Oikawa articulated slowly, his brown eyes wide with surprise, “A group of monstrously talented players, half of them a whole head taller than me.”
“Yes,” His boyfriend repeated in a grunt, pinching his nose.
“I play volleyball. Setter, remember?” He shook his head, incredulous, gesturing at his body, “I can’t keep up with you guys,” he sighed dismissing his offer with a hand.
“We’ve already played together. You’re not bad for an amateur.” Aomine shrugged, without any intention to surrender. Even if he wasn’t going to admit it aloud, he liked playing with Oikawa. A different type of “like” from when he played matches or against Kagami or Kise, but still “like”. A bubbling, warm “like”.
“I know,” Oikawa scoffed proudly, aware that being complimented by Aomine regarding basketball was more worthy than any other praise, “I’m better than you playing volleyball, at least," he grinned, making him roll his eyes. He couldn’t argue with that.
“Come on! Oikawa!” Kagami yelled from the court, already a ball in his hands, but the brunette stuck out his tongue at him.
“Next time, we’re going to play volleyball,” Aomine conceded to bribe him, knowing how much Oikawa wanted it, “Or are you too scared of losing?” he challenged, lifting Oikawa’s chin with a finger. He grimaced averting his eyes.
“I don’t like don’t being good,” he admitted proudly and Aomine chuckled. Yeah, he knew Oikawa hated not being perfect at everything he did, but they we working on it. He needed to relax and enjoy himself more: dorky, clumsy Oikawa was the best. Except for volleyball player Oikawa.
“Don’t worry, idiot!” Aomine reassured him, flashing him a rare, bright and excited smile, “You’re playing with me. The only one who can beat me is me,” he reminded him playfully, before grabbing his wrist and dragging him towards the other rainbow guys.
“We’re going to win for sure!”
And damn, Oikawa could only follow him love-struck. He really couldn’t resist that smile at all.

How about gom (maybe plus kagami?) reaction to finding their s/o who suddenly turned back into a child?? Maybe a short drabble about what they will do and stuff? Is this weird hahahaha
Characloud, this ask is the best, it’s not weird at all. You have unleashed a monster. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
Note: The s/o is self aware i.e. they have a child’s body, but an adult’s memories.
Akashi
When you looked back on this someday, you would classifythis as the most surreal experience of your life. It wasn’t going to get muchstranger than you as a child and Akashi in partial disguise, pretending to berelated so you could rob an antiques shop. Maybe it was all a fever dream.
Akashi’s eyes glinted behind metal-rimmed glasses as hetilted his head to look at you. “Are you prepared for this?”
You took a deep breath and squared your shoulders. “As muchas I’ll ever be to commit thievery.”
You caught a glimpse of a fleeting smile before he openedthe door and walked in. The shopkeeper looked up as the bell tinkled and smiledat the impending vision of profitable sales. You followed Akashi as he strodeover to the desk, taking in the sight of weird and wonderful knick-knacks. Thelady behind the counter seemed even happier when Akashi’s expensive watchedflashed in the light.
“Good afternoon,” he intoned smoothly, “I wonder if youcould show me any interesting pieces of jewellery. I’m looking for a gift.”
“For your wife, I presume?” She pulled out a tray of ringsand bracelets. “Is the little one in on the secret as well?”
You peeked out from behind Akashi’s leg, ducking your headshyly. He chuckled and lifted you into his arms so you could examine the trinkets.“What do you think, sweetheart?”
You leaned forward, gazing intently and then shook yourhead. “These aren’t right. Hmm…What about that one? It’s pretty.”
The shopkeeper swivelled to look at the emerald necklace youwere pointing to. “Oh dear, the things in that cabinet aren’t for sale.”
You exchanged a significant look with Akashi. The ornamentwould have to be stolen after all. You turned your limpid gaze onto the woman. He gave her a slightly apologetic smile. “Would you mind if we took a look atit? ____-chan here can be very persistent.”
You cringed internally at the sound of chan coming fromAkashi, but kept a cutesy expression on as the lady unlocked the cabinet totake out the necklace. You squirmed a bit, wanting to be put down. He sighedand set you on the floor with a warning not to touch anything. While theshopkeeper debated vintage rings with Akashi, you wandered around the store.
A china shepherdess at the back of a shelf caught your eye.You reached out to it, curious.
The sound of porcelain shattering made the two people at thedesk look up sharply. Your eyes filled with tears and your small frame quiveredas Akashi approached with a disapproving expression. “I’m s-sorry, I didn’tmean to…”
The shopkeeper clucked in sympathy. “Oh you poor dear. Youmust have been startled. Don’t worry, it wasn’t very valuable. I’ll just clearthose shards away before someone gets hurt.”
Akashi murmured an apology as she bustled off to find abroom. As soon as she left, he went over to the unlocked cabinet, retrieved theamulet you needed and slipped it into his pocket. The saleslady returned tofind you being lectured by a stern Akashi on the perils of disobedience. Shewaved his apologies, but didn’t resist much when he insisted on recompensingher for the damage.
Outside the shop, Akashi looked critically at the jadeamulet. “If that priest is wrong about this and you don’t turn back, we willhave done all this for nothing.”
You tugged on his sleeve. He slid his gaze to your face. “Sei,this is going to seem random, but I think you make a good father.”
He stilled for a moment, eyes wide. Then: “I’m glad youthink so. You do realize we will have to return this amulet later?”
You smiled at the hint of pink on his cheeks. “That’s whatyou’re for.”
Aomine
This was the best day ever, Aomine decided. Admittedly, ithad been a bit of a shock, waking up to find you de-aged to elementary schoolsize. He had a moment of genuine, spine-chilling terror when your facescrunched up with the effort of holding frightened tears back. But right now,you were your usual sensible self, trapped in a child’s body. It was priceless.
“NO, STOP! You can’t just throw the white clothes in withthe other ones! They’ll change color!” Aomine paused in the middle of chuckinga load of laundry into the washing machine. You could see him trying to holdback a guffaw at how high-pitched your voice was. He quickly lost the battleand collapsed on the floor, laughing. You scowled at him as he wiped a tearaway.
“Oops, my bad. Here, why don’t you check it yourself?”
You shrieked as a waterfall of clothes was unceremoniouslytipped over your head, engulfing your tiny frame in fabric. Spluttering, youshook yourself free of an oversized sleeve and launched yourself at him, tripping in the process.
“Daiki, you moron! Stop enjoying this! I hate you!” Hewheezed as you pounded him ineffectually with small fists. Gasping for breath,Aomine caught your hands, marvelling at how fragile you were.
“Sorry, babe. I’ll stop now, promise.” You narrowed youreyes at him, but remained silent.
You scampered after him as he grinned and went off to thekitchen to make breakfast. The disaster continued as Aomine proceeded toconcoct something that could barely be called edible.
“Daiki,” you said, on the verge of tears, “they’re calledpancakes because they’re made in a pan.”
He raised an eyebrow. “And your point is?”
“That’s a wok.”
Silence ensued as he frowned at the dish like it offendedhim. He could tell you wanted to bludgeon him with said pan- or wok- but in ashow of saintly restraint, you opened one of the lower cupboards and stumbledout with the correct cookware. After that, it went more smoothly as youdiscovered Aomine could flip pancakes like nobody’s business, and the two ofyou sat down to eat.
Aomine looked around in confusion as he realized you weren’tmoving. “What’s wrong?”
You looked up at him with frustrated tears welling at yourlashes. “The chair’s too high.”
He took pity on you and lifted you onto the chair withoutcomment. You glared at the pancakes, hating this helpless body and hatingwhatever twist of fate had gotten you here. A large hand resting gently on yourhead broke through your reverie.
“Hey,” said Aomine softly, “we’ll figure it out somehow, okay? We’ll get you back to normal. So don’t get upset.”
You nodded, feeling a little bit better. He ruffled yourhair with a grin and a happy peace followed.
That is, until you discovered he’d used fabric softenerinstead of detergent. “DAIKI!”
Kagami
There was something to be said for experiencing a theme parkas your younger self. The colours were more vivid, the rides more memorable andthe smells more enticing. You turned your head as the scent of caramel popcornwafted your way, unable to resist. Kagami watched you with the mixture ofdisbelief and amusement that he’d been wearing ever since you reverted tochildhood.
“This way, ____. We can get some popcorn later.” His handsgently manoeuvred you in the right direction. You tipped your head back to lookat him. He looked dazed and tired, dark circles lining his eyes. This wholetransformation thing was taking a toll on the both of you. Or maybe that wasthe after-effects of the roller-coaster.
He paused in front of what looked like a gothic mansion witha forbidding atmosphere. You blinked as he knelt down with a serious expressionand picked up your petite hand. “Are you sure about this?”
You nodded. “There’s no way to tell other than to try. Butthe haunted house was the last place I visited before this happened. Maybethere’ll be a clue here.”
He swallowed hard and stood up, hand still wrapped aroundyours. He took a steadying breath. “L-let’s go, then.”
You were careful to keep your eyes open for anything unusualas you walked through the dark maze, though who knew what unusual meant in ahaunted house. You could feel Kagami tense in anticipation at your side, andthe strength of his grip increased. Finally you gave up and turned to him.
“Kagami-kun, I really can’t concentrate with you squeezing-Kagami-kun?!”
You could practically hear hinges creak as his stiff bodyrotated towards you. Your eyes widened as you took in his pale face, perspiration dotting his hairline. He pointed wordlessly to a spot behind you, finger trembling. “There’s…someone…there…”
You turned around just in time for a figure to leap out ofthe darkness menacingly. The sudden movement made you jump as the reaper lashedout with a scythe. Kagami, on the other hand, had the kind of spectacularreaction haunted house architects probably dreamed about. Letting out aterrified yelp, he scrambled backwards, only to trip over a skeletal hand, falldown and yell some more.
You got yanked backwards as Kagami placed you betweenhimself and the reaper. “P-please tell me it’s gone…”
You found his reaction sort of adorable and patted his headsoothingly. The reaper’s jaw went slack with amazement. “Dude, are you reallyhiding behind a kid? And I thought I’d seen everything…”
After some encouragement on your part, and increduloushead-shaking on the reaper’s, you managed to get Kagami out of the creepymansion and into the sunlight. “Well, that wasn’t very helpful,” you saidmournfully. “Kagami-kun, are you alright?”
“Never again,” he panted. “I’m never doing that again.Ever.”
“Oh, I don’t know. I found it very enlightening.” His facebecame alarmingly red when you held up your phone. “This picture of you peekingbetween your fingers is pretty cute.”
“Give- give me that!” He lunged for your phone, but youdodged easily.
“Bribe me with popcorn and we’ll see.”
Kise
“Smile for me, ___-cchi!”
You lifted the corners of your mouth in a half-heartedattempt at a happy expression, but quickly fell back into despair as yourealized Kise wasn’t done, not by a long shot. You wondered why it had to be achild’s body, of all things. You could have changed into a cat or a parrot or atable lamp, but no. It had to be younger you, so that Kise could use you as adress-up doll.
He frowned, oblivious to your vast unhappiness. “Don’tscowl, ___-cchi, it doesn’t match your clothes.”
You looked down at the incredibly pink, frilly ensemble.“Nothing would match these clothes. I’ve never seen so many bows in my life. How are there bows on my socks?”
Kise waved your protest away with a careless hand. “This isnothing. My sister has some really wild stuff in her cupboard. I remember thisdinosaur costume she wore once…”
You went stiff with terror at the thought. If Kise evertried to make you wear that, you’d kick his face in and run away to live in thewoods. Before you could make good on your plans though, his phone chimed. Hepursed his lips in thought after reading the message.
“What is it? Do you have a photo-shoot today?” You distantlyremembered him saying something about it.
“Yeah. It was actually tomorrow, but there’s been some sortof scheduling conflict and they’ve moved it up. I need to be there soon. Howannoying.”
You shrugged, ribbons lifting with your slender shoulders. “Itcan’t be helped. I’ll wait here for you till you’re done.”
Kise gave you a look of abject horror. “What? I can’t leaveyou here, ____-cchi, you’re too young!”
You put your hands on your hips and glared at him. “I onlylook like a child, Ryouta. I won’t die if I’m left alone for a few hours. There’s no way I’m going out looking like this.”
He gasped in delight and smacked a fist into his palm.“That’s it, ____-cchi! You’re a genius! You can model with me at thephoto-shoot!”
You tried to dissuade him from following through on thatridiculous leap of logic, but your fledgling body was no match for a full-grownman. Which was how you found yourself being cooed over a by host of stylists,make-up artists and set designers.
“Kise-kun, your cousin is so cute!” The photographer wasequally enthusiastic. “You two will make a great pair for the adverts.”
The problem with being a child, you reflected bitterly, wasthat no one cared about how you felt. You resolved to never ignore a childagain if you went back to normalcy. For now though, you were forced to endureas cameras clicked from a myriad angles and instructions kept getting thrown atyou. The only thing that made it bearable was the fact that Kise was huggingyou to his chest, his cheek resting on your head.
“Hey,” he whispered affectionately, “thanks for being a goodgirl and putting up with this. I know you don’t like it.”
You sighed and snuggled closer to him. “I’m still going totake revenge, you know.”
He tightened his warm hold around you. “I’ll look forward toit, ___-cchi.”
Kuroko
Being used to the absurdities of life, Kuroko took it in hisstride when you were suddenly transformed into a younger version of yourself. You didn’t know whether it spoke to the greatness or the indifference of hischaracter that he treated you exactly the same as before. What did change wasthe amount of attention he was getting.
“Oh my,” squealed the flower-shop owner as you skipped downthe street, small hand safely nestled in Kuroko’s larger one. “How adorable! Are you taking your sister for a day out, young man?”
You blanched while Kuroko blinked in polite stupefaction.“Something like that,” he said by way of response.
It happened again and again as you made your way down thestreet. “I’m sorry, Tetsu-kun,” you said sadly. “I know it’s disturbing foreveryone to call me your baby sister.”
“It’s fine,” he murmured in reply, “it’s nice to have asibling to take care of. Shall we take a break? I know your feet hurt.”
You nodded, not at all surprised he’d noticed. He led you toa nearby playground, stopping at the swings. You scrambled up on to one, feetbarely skimming the ground. You breath left your lungs in a surprised whooshwhen Kuroko pushed the swing, sending you flying in what seemed to be animpossible arc.
Your exhilarated laughter filled the air when the swingslowed after a few of those oscillations. Your legs swung with excitement. “Howdid you do that? It felt like being thrown into the air.”
Kuroko looked down at his hands and you did too. Your eyeswidened at a familiar open-handed pose. “Don’t tell me you used an ignite passon the swing?!”
Something like guilt crossed his features. “I will neitherconfirm nor deny that.”
You hopped off the swing seat and clutched onto his wristwith both hands. “Come on, let’s find your grandmother’s mysterious friend. Andwe can get ice-cream on the way.”
The store clerk was immensely amused when you dragged Kurokointo the shop, hopping on your feet to point to the flavour you wanted. Kurokolooked equally amused when you gazed longingly at the shopkeeper and wheedledan extra ice-cream out of him.
As you walked down the pavement again, energy devoted toconquering the frozen treat, you felt Kuroko’s gaze on you. “What is it?”
He shook his head, the motion soft with affection. “Nothing.I was just thinking that you were pretty cute as a child, ____-san.”
Your cheeks flushed despite the chill of the lolly. “I betyou were cuter, Tetsu-kun.”
He smiled, blue eyes lighting up in a way that made youruntested heart thump. “I hope we never find out.”
“Well, there are always photo albums.”
The last thing you heard him mutter before you entered thefortune-teller’s shop was that you’d have to find the pictures first.
Midorima
So this is what it had all amounted to. All of those yearsof researching the occult and arcane, of religiously reading horoscopes andthis was the best he could do. He looked over gloomily from where he washunched on the spindly chair. You seemed happy enough to chatter with hissister, taking fake sips of tea from somewhat real cups at a fake tea party.
“Onii-san, would you like some biscuits?” His siblingblinked at him with guileless eyes.
“No, thank you. What I would like to do is find ____’s luckyitem for the day and hope that it will reverse this curse.” He stared pointedlyat you.
You patted his elbow with a chubby hand. “There, there, Shin-kun,I want to revert to my normal state as well, but there’s nothing we can do tillthe evening broadcast of Oha-Asa. Until then, we might as well make the most ofit.”
He turned the colour of a fire truck. “Y-you’re toocarefree, nanodayo! And don’t patronize me when you’re wearing a crown andsipping air from a teacup!”
Both you and his sister pouted in vexation. “I like this hairband,”you said, tugging on the edge, “it makes me feel princess-like.”
This is prompted a delighted discussion on tiaras from hissister. Midorima pulled off his glasses and rubbed his temples. No one seemedto be taking this seriously. It was like talking to a wall, or Takao. Thechildish babbling halted when he looked up again.
“Listen to me, ____,” he said in a long-suffering tone.“this curse is a serious thing. It could be permanent and irreversible, nanodayo. We can’t just take it lightly. It might have unknown side-effects.”
You and his sister stared at him with pitying expressions.“Onii-san, I don’t think my doll cares about anything you’re saying.”
Midorima belatedly put his glasses back on to find a bisquedoll gazing back at him with a reproachful expression. “Ah.”
You sighed and walked over. He stiffened when your smallarms wrapped around his waist. “Shin-kun, I’m as anxious as you are. Sweet asyour sister is, I don’t want to spend an eternity in this form. But there’s nouse working ourselves up when there’s nothing to be done. We’ll just have tohave faith.”
He looked away, frustration curling his mouth down. “I’mjust worried about you, nanodayo.”
“I know.” The clock on the wall caught your eye. “Look, it’salmost time for Oha-Asa! Let’s go.”
All three of you curled up expectantly in front of the TV,waiting for the replay. Midorima frowned when the adverts continued on past theexpected time. You tilted your head, unsure. “Maybe they’re just a bit latetoday.”
Half an hour later though, you were beginning to thinksomething was up. Midorima pushed his glasses up and spoke in a dangerousvoice. “____? Is today Sunday?”
“Yeah, why?”
“Oha-Asa doesn’t air replays on Sundays.”
“Oh.” You bit your lip and considered this revelation.“Should we call Takao-kun now?”
“There’s no other choice, nanodayo.”
Murasakibara
The world was a very different place from this height. Forone thing, you were level with everyone’s knees. You craned your neck up atMurasakibara, whose now immense loftiness made him seem like something out of amovie about friendly giants. Your pint-sized form could probably fit inMukkun’s pocket.
He seemed to be thinking something similar. “Say, ___-chin,were you really that small once?” The question was punctuated by the snap of apocky stick.
You puffed your cheeks out in unconscious annoyance. “I’m six,Atsushi. Everyone is small at this age.”
He looked away to hide a smile. He never cared much forsocial conventions, but even Murasakibara had to admit hearing you address himas an equal in a childish warble was too much to handle. Also, you were kind ofadorable when you were mad. He didn’t say that though. He valued his sleep toomuch.
You reached up on tip-toes to tug at his longest finger. Itwas a bit of struggle, but he looked down. “Do you know why Himuro-san said weshould meet here?”
Murasakibara swept a lazy glance across the crowds millingabout in the zoo. “Dunno, it’s Muro-chin. I didn’t really care to ask. He’llprobably know what to do about your transformation, though.”
You opened your mouth to make a snappy retort about how henever cared, but jumped as an elongated shadow fell over you. You almost fellover backwards trying to find an end to the miles of neck looming over you. Thegiraffe peeked curiously over the enclosure at Mukkun, most likely sensing akindred spirit.
“Amazing,” you breathed. “Atsushi, you’re as tall as babygiraffe.” Murasakibara merely blinked as the animal bumped its nose into hisface.
He sighed, hoping it wasn’t trying to eat his snacks. He’dhave to crush it if it tried. Sensing an aura of intense eagerness, he lookeddown to see you gazing at the giraffe with wide-eyed hope. Wondering when hehad become the older, responsible one, he bent down to hoist your small bodyup. You yowled in surprise when he settled you on his shoulders.
The world was very different from this height too. You couldsee everything for miles, and you were eye-to-eye with a giraffe. From yournewfound vantage point, you spotted something in the distance and grinned.
“Hey, Atsushi. I see the pretzel stand over there. Wanna goget churros?”
When Himuro arrived five minutes later, he found himselfbesieged by a six-foot titan and a six-year old with equally devastated faces, both of whom were wailing about not having money for sweets. Pulling his walletout to pay the vendor, he muttered something about how you needed to return toadulthood as soon as possible, for the sake of his sanity.
