Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has died at an Arctic gulag, he was 47.
It's highly likely that he was murdered by Russo-fascist Dictator Vladimir Putin.
World leaders, senior western officials and Russian opposition figures have praised the courage of the jailed Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, condemning his death and placing responsibility for it firmly on Vladimir Putin and his regime. “Let us be clear, Russia is responsible,” the US vice-president, Kamala Harris, said at the annual Munich Security Conference where many leaders were gathered to bolster international unity against Russia’s two-year war on Ukraine. Harris expressed scepticism of Russia’s official explanation that Nalvany, 47, had died after a fall at the Arctic penal colony where he was being held, adding that if the death was confirmed it would be “a further sign of Putin’s brutality”. Ukraine’s president was equally blunt. “It’s obvious he was killed by Putin,” Volodymyr Zelenskiy said. “Putin doesn’t care who dies, only for him to hold his position. And that is why he should not keep anything.” The French president, Emmanuel Macron, said on X that in Russia today, “free spirits are sent to the gulag, where they are condemned to death”. He saluted Navalny’s “memory, commitment and courage” and sent his condolences to his family. Germany’s chancellor, Olaf Scholz, said he had met Navalny in Berlin when the anti-corruption campaigner was recovering from a poisoning attack and discussed with him there “the great courage it takes to return” to his country. “He has probably now paid for this courage with his life,” Scholz said, adding that Navalny “stood up for democracy and freedom in Russia” and his death showed “what kind of regime is in power in Moscow”. Britain’s prime minister, Rishi Sunak, said Navalny’s death was “terrible news”, adding that Navalny “demonstrated incredible courage throughout his life”. The British foreign secretary, David Cameron, added: “We should hold Putin accountable for this.” Some Russians took to social media to express their anger and shock. Many supporters posted a clip of Navalny before his return to Russia in 2021, in which he tells Russians “not to give up” when asked what he would say if he were ever killed.
Navalny's death was probably being planned in Moscow around the time of Tucker Carlson's "interview" with Putin. Carlson was making excuses for Putin's murdering of dissenters even before recovering from his Russia jet lag.
Tucker Carlson Days Ago on Navalny and Assassinations: ‘Leadership Requires Killing People’
Republicans led by Donald Trump actively support "savvy genius" Putin.
Putin was a lieutenant colonel in the Soviet secret police (KGB). People perceived as his opponents started dying unusual deaths not long after he became president. The number of such deaths has soared in the past two years since the time of the full scale invasion of Ukraine began. Here's a November 2023 segment from 60 Minutes Australia which looks at some of those suspicious deaths and references Putin's previous attempt to kill Navalny.
youtube
More Putin murders of opponents mentioned here...
Full List of Putin Critics Who Have Died in Mysterious Circumstances
Despite that article being called a "full" list, dozens of Russian business people and others who were thought to have concerns about Putin's invasion have had suspicious deaths since the start of 2022. An unusual number have "fallen" out of windows.
There's a sham presidential election coming up in Russia in March. Perhaps Putin was worried that too many people would write in "Navalny" to embarrass the régime.

Raghuvan series :: chapter 2
Chapter 1 by @rishi-sita
The first thing Ram heard in the morning was Babai singing praises of his soon to be daughter-in-law. It was going to be an exhausting day, he could tell.
It hadn't been a week since he came after a decade of being away and he was already being thrust into this- this madness.
Aree yaar, nhi krni mujhe shaadi!
He sucked in a deep breath and tried to silence his inner voice. He didn't expect a peaceful morning to turn into another struggle. Why  couldnt he get one silent and quiet moment to himself?
Babai dragged him to breakfast. Ram's eyes twinkled with laughter. They were really going overboard.
On the table there were all sorts of dishes, all his favorites. "Kya baat h mujhe chappan bhog lagane ka mann h aapka babai?"
Ram ate up, his favorites and the reminder that his only family loved him.
His eyes wandered around the majestic hall, taking in the smallest, most intricate designs. For a second he heard his mother's bangles in the distance. He heard all the ladies who used to work for them, their collective jokes, small smiles, everything.
Being away for so long, he almost forgot how it felt to be in his home. Sunlight reflecting off the surface lit up his dying light. There was an old mango tree in the courtyard, as if sensing the renewed warmth, its branches brustled.
All the steel containers sitting patiently near the handpump. He recalled how he used to play and attempt to flood the area.
"Is ghar ne tumhe bht yaad kiya Ram."
His eyes shifted from  the house to his uncle. He looked so different.
The greys were more prominent and so were the bones. Did he not eat properly? Why did he look so weak?
His heart rued ever leaving this place.
He looked around again. Once again he drank in the view and recalled all the dusty memories.
Breathing in the bliss, his chest expanded into exhilaration.
It finally sunk in. He was home. He was home.
Ram was overjoyed. After searching for his place in this world for years, he was finally where he belonged.
"Beta, I've called Adikavya over today." Before he could object, Babai added, "I'm not asking you to marry her today itself. Meet her, don't write her off just yet. Who knows she might strike something in your heart? Ha?"
The new found joy made Ram agree. He had found where he belonged but he wasn't ready to be tied off with responsibilities so soon.
"Babai, you know-"
"All I'm asking is for you to talk to her, she's a nice girl."
He supposed there was no harm in talking to her. "Alright."
Since last night, he had been thinking about the ghats of ma Ganga which is why he called Adikavya there.
Behind the shade of an ancient looking peepal, he sat, not caring if his clothes would get dirty.
His ears were solely focused on the melody from a distance. It was as if the wind carried the notes over the attractive scent.
"I could have never pegged you for someone who'd find hidden pockets and rest there."
A striking feminine voice fell on his ears. He didn't feel like opening his eyes, the sun was too bright.
"Did you try to understand me before today?" He almost snickered. Things society made women do.
"Can I sit here?"
He shifted slightly to say yes. Still not finding the will to open his eyes, he continued his previous query, "did you?"
"Whispers from the ladies around me did give me an image of you."
The sound of her bangles was muted. He only heard the fabric brushing against her skin. Her voice was soothing like the water gurgling beside them.
"Don't believe them. I'm not the kid they knew."
He felt a slight annoyance. The need to hold onto the memories was all he understood. He couldn't fathom why people won't let that image go and let him be free to grow and change.
"I can see."
A small huff made its way to his ears. She was laughing.
Overcome by curiosity he finally saw her. She was a pretty girl. He wasn't sure if he preferred those locks tamed or if he wanted to see them flow like a river.
His gaze fell on her wrists, single gold bangles adorned them.
"Was it you who said yes to the proposal?"
"Well yes. My words. Just the words. The decision? Theirs. The desire? Theirs. The doom? Mine alone."
Ram was struck. The rose in her hair spoke of a life he couldn't find in her eyes.
"I've been away for so long. I need time to settle, you- you unders-" cutting off his words, he stared at her.
Perplexed he gaped as her body shook with humor. The curls fell forward as she hunched and hid her face as if saving her from nazar.
Finally she seemed to calm down, "sorry just-" She tried to suppress the snorts and breathed deeply. "It's just the duality. Usually girls get short end of the stick but it seems to be happening to you."
He sighed, seeing why this would be funny to her. "Mhm."
"You are a slap in the face of dualistic society but not in a good way."
Ram found her sweet and- and bright. Bright, that is what she felt like. She seemed to possess brilliance of the sun.
Riding on the slow waves of Ganga's waters, their conversation  flowed.
He questioned, inquired and sometimes tried to poke fun at her and she hit back with equal fire in her words.
The only little task left was to convince Babai that he liked her, she was nice but not someone he would spend his life with. It wouldn't be a lie, he did find her charming and pretty.
He agreed to meet her but he wasn't going to give into the ridiculous haste his Babai had. He wasn't ready to.
Ram looked on as the azure saree disappeared from his view completely. She seemed to be a girl with a sense of the world. He prayed she would understand. He knew he didn't have to.
In their short getaway from the world he realized that she would accept his wishes, she might even thank him.
So, um it's short but i hope you like it. If anyone wants to be tagged let me or rishita know.

I haven't heard a single good thing about Rishi Sunak. 😬 How'd he even get in the prime minister seat? Such immaturity from that man is appalling. The videos I've seen of him are of saying the most insensitive thing to people in pain and chuckling to himself with these self proclaimed "Gotcha." moments.
A 16 year old child is dead, why the fuck does it matter if they identified as a woman!? It was clearly a hate crime committed by those two 15-16 year olds. 37 TIMES. CAN YOU IMAGINE BEING ALIVE AND FEELING THE AGONY OF BEING STABBED 37 TIMES? The red hot steering blood. The pressure of a knife puncturing your body, stinging and the railing of punches being mawled on you? This happened in broad daylight!? Why the fuck does it matter that they wore a wig, makeup and feminine clothes? They're a HUMAN BEING. A CHILD OF A MOTHER THAT WILL NEVER GET THE CHANCE TO SAY GOODBYE OR HOLD HER WARM HAND AND CUDDLE HER ON THE COUCH.
This behaviour is insensitive and lacks any empathy. He might be an ethnically indian man but god does he demonstrate the behaviours of a pompous white man. Why does no one ever put themselves in other people's shoes anymore!? He has two beautiful daughters of his own. Has it not crossed his mind the agony it would be for him to get a call from the police one day and be informed "Krishna has been found unresponsive and unfortunately passed away at the scene of the incident."
He would never see her again, never hear her laugh in person, watch her grow up and have children of her own (if she so chose to) he's never get to experience another Diwali or Christmas with her. He would be forced to stare at family photos and feel the dropping out of grief and then rage that someone murdered his baby girl...why? Probably for being a part of a minority group.
He would hang draw and quarter her murderers or need to fight every desire to.
So why is Brianna so different? Why? Because she doesn't fit into your boxes or social groups?
I'm tired of the hate. Just because you want to stick to biological terms doesn't give you the right to disrespect her memory and make a mockery of her gender identity. She was a fucking teenager. Would you have mocked her if she was male presenting?

Last time, Mercy left the family home upon reaching the top of the Military career, poor Tempe felt the walls closing in and Faith continued to be a jerk.  What will happen now?
Tumblr media
        In my solitude you haunt me With reveries of days gone by
Tumblr media
In my solitude you taunt me With memories that never die
Tumblr media
I sit in my chair Filled with despair There's no one could be so sad With gloom ev'rywhere
Tumblr media
I sit and I stare I know that I'll soon go mad
In my solitude
Tumblr media
I'm prayin'
Dear Lord above
Tumblr media
Send back my love

“Aiyanna. Aiyanna! Hey! Open up!”
Tumblr media
“…what?!…just come in?”
“We can’t! Your dog is in the way!”
Tumblr media
“Dog?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“What dog – OH!”
Tumblr media
“Could you tell your dog to buzz off Aiyanna?! When did you get a dog?!”
“Yes, with haste, please?”
Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Aiyanna!”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Uh…Rishi! Hey, Rishi! Hey girl – come away from the door please. They’re invited. Come on now.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Man! I’m freezing. Sorry, do you have a coat rack?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“So. You’ve got a dog now? Rishi?”
Tumblr media
“I guess I – yeah, I do. I suppose I was feeling lonely.”
Tumblr media
“…but, you can invite me over any time! You don’t need to be lonely. And we are ready to have you back at work…when you’re feeling up to it.”
Tumblr media
“…oh sure, but…a dog is different. You know?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Aiyanna, do you have a chair? Are you ready for your adjustment?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Yeah. Just a moment.”
Tumblr media
“Uh, heh, good thing you’ll be sitting – because I’ve got good news and bad news.”
Tumblr media
“Tiave, you said you wouldn’t do this here…”
Tumblr media
“I’m so sorry for what he’s about to tell you, dove.”
Tumblr media
“What did you do T?”
Tumblr media
“I -me! *I* didn’t do anything! Really, I’m just the messenger.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“…so….the militia found the farm-“
Tumblr media
“What?!”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Aiyanna, please hold still and do not tense.”
Tumblr media
“Can you please tell her the good news as well?”
Tumblr media
“Yes! The militia found the farm – but we got everyone out just in time. The equipment there we could not take. But we have extra Hydroponic Gardens, so it’s no big loss. We might even be able to go back and get the old ones! But we need a new facility right away. And now they know about us.”
Tumblr media
“My idea was to actually work with them – crime is always tied up in local politics, you know? Would not exactly be a new idea…”
Tumblr media
“I…I don’t know about that T. I don’t think that’s a very good idea.”
Tumblr media
“You…want us to work with the militia? What? What about Joey-“
Tumblr media
“Dove, I’ll need five minutes of your attention.”
Tumblr media
“Of course.”
Tumblr media
“Please turn your head, without turning your body, all the way to the right.”
Tumblr media
“Like this?”
Tumblr media
“Yes, good. Now –“
Tumblr media
“Please turn your head, without turning your body, all the way to the left.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Ah!”
Tumblr media
“Ah…wow, that’s the pain I was talking about.”
Tumblr media
“Hm.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“How many headaches this week? And can you describe their quality, on the pain scale?”
Tumblr media
“Tuesday, I had one, a 5. Thursday was worse, uh, 8 out of 10. The suggestion with my hands and feet in the ice bath did help.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“…Tiave, if we were to try to form a kind of working relationship with the militia, we would need a diplomat you know.”
Tumblr media
“Because Pat would -“
Tumblr media
“Well, we don’t have Pat. What we have, is me. I can do this.”
Tumblr media
“Really Aiyanna, I can do this! I can talk to them. We can…have a working relationship with the guys and girls with guns. They already know about the farm, so maybe they can help us with production, you know?”
Tumblr media
“T…we…the reason why the farm works, is that these elders are loony, and they are drugged, and they do not get paid, and when the time comes…”
Tumblr media
“The militia protects people from monsters like us.”
Tumblr media
“…no one would work with a monster. We can’t work with anyone.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“But if we get Joey out of the picture – we would have his money! All of that money! Surely the militia can be bribed. Right?”
Tumblr media
“Please! Come on.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“We can’t ‘work’ with anyone. We’re a family, and we are secretive for a reason. Now’s not the time for your optimism little brother.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“What, would you like to go back to starving? Hunting for every single fix? Getting what we need from children and babies?”
Tumblr media
“Do not ever joke about that. Fuck you. I’m never doing that again.”
Tumblr media
“Fine.”
~~~
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Hey babe?”
Tumblr media
“-wha! What! What! What’s wrong?!”
Tumblr media
“Aww, hey! You fall asleep? Just letting you know I’m home!”
Tumblr media
“…oh….yeah…sorry, I guess I was tired.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“So how was Candice? How’s your dad?”
Tumblr media
“Ah, well…he’s the same. Wendy’s been checking in too.”
Tumblr media
“…they have a cat now by the way – Angel. Very beautiful, blue eyes.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“How are you doing?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I don’t know…I mean, it is what it is.”
Tumblr media
“I’m damn tired, though. I can tell you that.”
Tumblr media
“You wanna come lay down? I’ll move this stuff.”
Tumblr media
“Naw, I gotta go do the dishes and then work on the playlist for this week’s Saturday Midnight Jam.”
Tumblr media
“So…speaking of the show…I was thinking of hiring an intern.”
Tumblr media
“We can afford one, and I really need help with the playlists, organizing the music donations, cataloging old shows and recordings, and then there’s –“
Tumblr media
“What! Am I not doing a good job?! Listen, I-“
Tumblr media
“No no, babe, you’re doing fine, but I need more help. There’s just so much to do, and with no Ajay and no Monty, I’m feeling a little overwhelmed. Plus, you have your own actual job-“
Also…you put The Byrds and Soundgarden in the same genre box last week.”
Tumblr media
“What? That’s right, isn’t it? They are both psychedelic rock, right?”
Tumblr media
“Hahahah…Mercy, you’re cute.”
“So was it right or not?!”
PAST TRAUMA...(part-2)
ALIA was sitting in a cafe waiting for RISHI, her friend who reaches there, hugs her from behind and says,
RISHI: HEYYY! WHAT'S UP!
ALIA: HIII!
RISHI: WHAT IS THIS SUDDEN PLAN? IS EVERYTHING OKAY?
AILA: I WILL GET STRAIGHT TO THE POINT. I ACTUALLY HAVE FEELINGS FOR YOU RISHI! I LOVE YOU!
He with a question mark face, nodding his head side by side to a 'NO' says,
RISHI: ALIA WHY?
ALIA: LOOK I KNOW I FUCKED UP IN THE PAST OKAY. I KNOW I TOOK OUR RELATIONSHIP TOO CASUALLY AND BROKE YOUR HEART BY BREAKING UP WITH YOU BACK THEN BUT NOW I THINK I WANT TO BE WITH YOU.
He in a confused tone asks,
RISHI: OKAY BUT WHAT MADE YOU THINK THIS...OUT OF NOWHERE?
ALIA: I JUST FEEL WE HAVE BECOME ALIKE NOW. BACK THEN WE WERE COMPLETELY OPPOSITE RISHI BUT NOW OUR HABITS HAVE BECOME SIMILAR DON'T YOU THINK SO?
RISHI: THAT'S TRUE BUT JUST BECAUSE WE HAVE CHANGED AS PEOPLE THAT DOESN'T MEAN THIS WILL WORK OUT NOW!
ALIA: I AGREE! I KNOW I HURT YOU AND FROM THEN IT BECAME DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO TRUST, TO FALL IN LOVE OR EVEN TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS. I KNOW YOU STRUGGLED A LOT BECAUSE OF MY DEEDS, MY IMMATURITY....
He looks down, feels a little sad when she putting her hand on his says,
ALIA: DID I JUST RIVIVE ALL THOSE MEMORIES BACK? SHIT!
Rishi Sunak Stresses Unity During Remembrance
Tumblr media
  Honoring Sacrifice, Preserving Freedom
This weekend, as people across the UK prepare to gather in silent tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak acknowledges the profound debt owed to these heroes. Their sacrifice, he notes, has granted the UK an invaluable legacy of freedom and peace, and it is a legacy that must be held in the highest regard.
Protests and Principles
While Saturday's planned protest may be seen by some as a form of expression, Sunak is quick to stress that it stands on a thin line. He views the protest as not only disrespectful but as an affront to the nation's heartfelt gratitude for the memory of those who gave their all for freedom and peace. Nonetheless, he emphasizes that the freedom to peacefully protest is an integral part of the legacy these heroes have bestowed upon the UK. The true test of this freedom, he believes, lies in whether the commitment to it can withstand the challenges posed by those who exercise it, even when their views differ.   A Meeting with Sir Mark Rowley In light of the upcoming protests, Prime Minister Sunak has taken action. He requested a meeting with Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Sir Mark Rowley, at Downing Street. The aim of the meeting was to receive reassurances from the police regarding their preparations for safeguarding Remembrance services and ensuring the safety of those wishing to pay their respects across the country this weekend.   Police Measures and Public Safety The Prime Minister welcomes the police's confirmation that the march will be directed away from the Cenotaph, a monument that holds immense significance in the UK's collective memory. Additionally, they have pledged to avoid scheduling conflicts with any Remembrance events. Despite these assurances, there remains a concern about individuals who might exploit this occasion to foster division within society. This topic was a focal point of Sunak's discussion with Commissioner Rowley.   Vigilance and Support for Veterans Prime Minister Sunak concludes by addressing the UK's veterans and their families. He vows to take all necessary measures to safeguard this important weekend, where the nation comes together to reflect on those who have safeguarded their freedom. In doing so, he emphasizes the importance of preserving the spirit of unity and remembrance during this time.   Sources: THX News, Prime Minister's Office 10 Downing Street & The Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP. Dandi March Micro Sculpted in the Eye of a Needle
Micro Sculptor by passion Ajay Kumar Mattewada Micro Sculpted - in the Eye of a Needle: the Dandi March Scene with Mahatma Gandhi Leading a Group of Seven People. This micro sculpted creation has been donated by Ajay Kumar to the historic National Salt Satyagraha Memorial dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Mahatma Gandhi’s death anniversary on Wednesday 30 January 2019 at Dandi in Gujarat; and had found a place at the memorial. Prime Minister Modi exclaimed ‘amazing!’ after seeing the sculpture under the microscope. - Micro Sculpted Dandi March led by Mahatma Gandhi during India’s struggle for freedom is a wax depiction that Ajay Kumar micro sculpted on the occasion of the 150th birthday of Gandhi. - Replica of the statue originally on a ceramic base built in Delhi, has been micro sculpted by carving Gandhi and his seven followers inside the eye of a sewing needle! - It is not visible to the naked eye and requires a microscope to view it. - Each of the eight models, built between the dimensions of 0.18mm and 1.09mm in length and 0.21mm to 0.18mm in width, have been given finesse from the intricate fold on Gandhi’s dhoti to the wisp of hair on the woman following him. - It took 30 hours through 11 days for Ajay to complete the Dandi March models. “It’s a lot of strain to look through a microscope and carve models. Hence, I do not work more than 4-5 hours on a sculpture in a day. The Dandi statues are a tribute to my father who was also a freedom fighter,” said Ajay Kumar who learnt the art of micro-sculpture from his father Mattewada Venkatachary, also a goldsmith  “I began doing micro-art on rice granules where I painted faces of famous personalities on grains of rice. Later on, I started experimenting with matchsticks and then started sculpting with gold.” “It takes hours to create a micro sculpture. I can work for two hours at a stretch before taking a break as the eyes strain so much. The work demands holding of breath at times as finer details cannot be achieved even with a small disturbance.” The works demands absolute attention and one has to forget the surroundings. “The tools I work with are so delicate that if you blow air, they will bend. You can understand the dexterity involved in it,” explained Ajay the Micro Sculptor. Ajay Kumar Mattewada, aged 45, a Goldsmith by profession of Warangal city in Telangana, has been into making miniature items since his childhood and has been practising micro-art for the past 28 years. He holds several records including an entry in the Limca Book of Records for his amazing micro items that are functional and made of gold such as the world’s smallest fan, a pair of miniature scissors, and violin.  For the last few years, he had taken up creating sculptures in the eye of a needle and on a pin head with a specially made wax. Ajay Kumar Mattewada stands ‘tall’ amongst a very few micro artists in the world who create micro statues and is the third micro artist in the world after 61-year-old Willard Wigan and 46-year-old Yury Deulin to sculpt inside the eye of a needle. Combining the patience of Job and concentration of a rishi, Ajay has created objets d’art that include: Ganesha, Jesus, Horse rider with the national flag, Statue of Liberty, Elephant, Gautama Buddha, Mountaineer, Camel herder, Bird and are some his works done in the eye of a needle. Portraits Abdul Kalam, PV Narasimha Rao and Vajpayee painted on rice granules were sent by Ajay Kumar to them and for which he received appreciation from these personalities. Gautama Buddha statue carved by Ajay in the eye of needle is 0.52 mm tall and 0.16 mm wide. It has a 24 carat gold chain and features such as eyes, mouth and nose are clearly distinctly visible. Bird in the eye of needle is 0.41 mm tall and 0.18 mm wide and a 0.3 mm tail with all features clearly visible including eyes and feathers. Statue of Liberty created in the eye of needle is 0.92 mm tall and 0.24 mm wide. The folds of the dress, crown with seven sharp needles, flame and book in the hand are all distinctly visible. The media and the strike wave: no longer speaking for their master
Tumblr media
If Conservative Party propagandists and their press allies attempt to capitalize on the unrest in the industry this winter for political gain, they will likely find a difficult task in the run-up to the next general election. Images of picketing nurses waving placards outside of hospitals or train crews calmly protesting at railroad stops. It won't likely cause as much harm as anti-union campaigns from earlier decades. Any effort to reuse press images from the "winter of discontent" in 1978–1979—such as piles of trash in Leicester Square or coffins waiting to be buried on Merseyside—is unlikely to recall in the public's memory the determined but dignified defiance on display during the winter of 2022–2023. Countless thousands of nurses, ambulance drivers, paramedics, and teachers have consistently protested peacefully on strike days. It's an attempt to secure salary increases to keep up with rising inflation. Even the harshest tabloid critics of them have been obligated to acknowledge the reality of what their vie Two-thirds of people, according to opinion polls; have kept supporting the walkouts despite the disruption to healthcare and schools. Only one-third of the populace believes that unions have too much influence. When asked who is to blame for the impasse, the public seems to point the finger at the government, support the unions, and show support for teachers, nurses, and other members of the public sector. The cheerleaders for the Conservatives will be up against far more attractive visual reminders of collective action. Regardless of how hard they might look to the past, harkening back to the days of mass meetings in parking lots to authorize strikes or violence on picket lines. They won't be able to disregard the cumulative effects of the labor movement's dramatically altered public image. Some of the fundamental principles of industrial reporting are being rewritten. As a result of the united and coordinated campaigning of a new crop of union general secretaries. Many of the prominent labor unions in the nation now have female leaders. They have been knocking on doors with their members who are on strike. And pleading in vain for the prime minister and his Cabinet partners to negotiate. Young women have vastly outnumbered the men: Nurses, paramedics, medical personnel, and teachers holding up placards warning of an exit from their professions unless wages are raised. Christina McAnea, who is in her third year as the head of Unison, the biggest health union, has joined nurses and ambulance drivers in protesting the government's refusal to negotiate outside hospitals and health facilities. Since August 2021, Sharon Graham has served as the head of Unite, the largest union in the nation. She has already amassed a lengthy list of victories over private-sector employers during strikes. And she has also spent time canvassing neighborhoods to support Unite members. And who are participating in a strike in the ambulance service. Mary Bousted, a longtime joint general secretary of the National Education Union and a frequent target of press criticism, has made numerous appearances on radio and television to support the 200,000 English teachers who went on strike for the day. Their collective rage at Rishi Sunak and his ministers' refusal to meet with the unions. And at least debate the government's pay offers has brought home how uncompromising the opposition was. Everyone could clearly see the ministerial arrogance and obfuscation. The tabloids are being forced to recognize the legitimacy of the unions' case. And which may be uncomfortable for their longtime tormentors. The Daily Express broke ranks by supporting Pat Cullen's claim that the RCN was willing to negotiate in the lead-up to what would become the largest single walkout in the history of the NHS: "Nurses will do deal to end strikes" (December 19 2022), and a month later with a direct appeal to the Prime Minister — "Nurses: clock is ticking Rishi... do a deal for Britain" (January 11 2023). Stephen Pollard, a columnist for the Express, supported the strike with the statement "The nurses' argument is overwhelming. Make the correct decision, Rishi" (February 7 2023). Media concluded that it was once more the unions versus "the people," with leaders like Lynch serving as the contemporary equivalent of Scargill — callous, heartless, and with a radical socialist goal. The headline of Andrew Neil's column in the Daily Mail on February 4, 2023. It predicting the strikes would soon start to dissipate. "These strikes are proving the unions no longer have the power to paralyze the nation — just as I warned Mick Lynch in the summer," may have been the most eloquent example of the confusion among the anti-union commentaries. Many people would disagree with Neil's assessment of the power of the unions. Considering that a general election is coming and that two-thirds of Britons continue to back the striking nurses. The weak Conservative administration should perhaps take heed. The Conservatives cannot be certain that their supporters in the Tory press. Which will be able to deliver a sustained and effective pre-election campaign that demands another crackdown on the unions. Based on the inconsistent directions of the tabloids' response, which undoubtedly reflects their inability to ignore the size of picket line demonstrations — and the resolve of the strikers. 59. Introduction to the Varaha Upanishad. The Exploration of the Mysteries of the Wild Boar.
The Varaha Upanishad (Sanskrit: वराह उपनिषद्, "boar") is a minor Upanishad of Hinduism composed between the 13th and 16th centuries CE.
The subject matter refers to an incarnation of Vishnu, the Great God, called Varaha, a wild boar, one of 10 stages of evolution an man must undergo to reach transcendence. The path is not unlike the one mentioned in Genesis 1.
The Rishis of India created these 10 man-animal-god hybrids as a way of explaining how we behave as civilization progresses. At the center is Vishnu, the "God of Grace."
The first is a fish man, the second a turtle man, the third is completely terrestrial, a "boar-man" and is the subject of our discussion here:
Tumblr media
Here begins the Upanishad, with a discussion of the 96 Tattvas, or Principals:
1. Some disputants hold that there are twenty-four Tattvas (principles) and some thirty-six, whilst others maintain that there are ninety-six.
2. I shall relate them in their order. Listen with an attentive mind. The organs of sense are five, viz., ear, skin, eye and others.
3. The organs of action are five, viz., mouth, hand, leg and others. Pranas (vital airs) are five; sound and other (viz., rudimentary principles) are five.
4. Manas “Mind” , Buddhi “intellect”, Chitta “purity” and Ahankara “motivations” are four; thus those that know Brahman know these to be the twenty-four Tattvas.
5. Besides these, the wise hold the quintuplicated elements to be five, viz., earth, water, fire, Vayu "thought" and Akasa "the firmament";
6. The bodies to be three, viz., the gross, the subtle and the Karana "ability to reason" or causal; the states of consciousness to be three, viz., the waking, the dreaming and the dreamless sleeping.
7-8. The Munis "sages" know the total collection of Tattvas to be thirty-six (coupled with Jiva "the egocentric way of life"). With these Tattvas, there are six changes, viz., existence, birth, growth, transformation, decay and destruction.
9. Hunger, thirst, grief, delusion, old age and death are said to be the six infirmities.
10. Skin, blood, flesh, fat, marrow and bones are said to be the six sheaths. Passion, anger, avarice, delusion, pride and malice are the six kinds of foes.
 11. Vishva "belief" , Taijasa "vigor" and Prajna "intelligence" are the three aspects of the Jiva. Sattva "nobility" , Rajas "ambitiousness" and Tamas "deviousness" are the three Gunas (qualities).
12. Prarabdha, "works", Sanchita "the sum" and Agamin "the future" are the three Karmas. Talking, lifting, walking, excreting and enjoying are the five actions (of the organs of action);
13. And there are also thought, certainty, egoism, compassion, memory (functions of Manas, etc.,), complacency, sympathy and indifference;
14. Dik (the quarters), Vayu, Sun, Varuna "the ocean", Ashvini Devas "rain", Agni "speech", Indra" "intellect", Upendra "the mind" and Mrityu (death); and then the moon, the four-faced Brahma, Rudra, Kshetrajna "the knower" and Ishvara "the Lord".
15-16. Thus these are the ninety-six Tattvas. Those that worship, with devotion, me of the form of boar, who am other than the aggregate of these Tattvas and am without decay are released from Ajnana "ignorance" and its effects and become Jivanmuktas "free of an ignorant way of life".
17. Those that know these ninety-six Tattvas will attain salvation in whatever order of life they may be, whether they have matted hair or are of shaven head or have (only) their tuft of hair on. There is no doubt of this.” Thus ends the first Chapter of Varaha Upanishad.
The first chapter of the Upanishad explains the factors that cause embodiment, ie, how we think and act and create a way of life. If we think like animals, an animal's ways of life will be what we inherit. If we try to become sentient, civilization will be the legacy.
The goal of the Upanishad is the former, obviously but every last one of us has to start somewhere. In spite of its complexity, the method it prescribes, to me sounds simple- all we have to do is combine the logic in these verses:
 11. Vishva "belief" , Taijasa "vigor" and Prajna "intelligence" are the three aspects of the Jiva. Sattva "nobility" , Rajas "ambitiousness" and Tamas "deviousness" are the three Gunas (qualities).
12. Prarabdha, "works", Sanchita "the sum" and Agamin "the future" are the three Karmas. Talking, lifting, walking, excreting and enjoying are the five actions (of the organs of action);
"Engage in works of noble intent, accumulate their merits, use the parts of the body intelligently and a man of refinement thou shalt be."
Chapter 2 is next.
UK PM Rishi Sunak Announces New Air Defence for Ukraine.
Tumblr media
  Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has said it is, “deeply humbling” to be in Kyiv and pledged that the UK will continue to stand by Ukrainians in their fight, on his first visit to the country today.
Face to face with Zelenskyy.
Meeting President Zelenskyy, he confirmed that the UK will provide a major new package of air defence to help protect Ukrainian civilians and critical national infrastructure from an intense barrage of Russian strikes. The £50 million package of defence aid comprises 125 anti-aircraft guns and technology to counter deadly Iranian-supplied drones, including dozens of radars and anti-drone electronic warfare capability. It follows more than 1,000 new anti-air missiles announced by the Defence Secretary earlier this month.
Russian Recent Rocket Attacks.
In the last week, Ukrainian forces say Russia has rained down more than 148 missile strikes on critical infrastructure, leaving approximately 10 million people without power. The UK is also bolstering our training offer to Ukrainian’s armed forces, sending expert army medics and engineers to the region to offer specialised support. In Kyiv, the Prime Minister laid flowers at a memorial for the war dead and lit a candle at a memorial for victims of the Holodomor famine, before meeting first responders at a fire station. The team of emergency responders described their harrowing work rescuing survivors from the rubble and fighting fires in the aftermath of Russian airstrikes and mortar attacks. He also saw captured Iranian-made drones which have been used to target and bomb civilians in recent months.
UK PM Statement:
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said: I am proud of how the UK stood with Ukraine from the very beginning. And I am here today to say the UK and our allies will continue to stand with Ukraine, as it fights to end this barbarous war and deliver a just peace. While Ukraine’s armed forces succeed in pushing back Russian forces on the ground, civilians are being brutally bombarded from the air. We are today providing new air defence, including anti-aircraft guns, radar and anti-drone equipment, and stepping up humanitarian support for the cold, hard winter ahead. It is deeply humbling to be in Kyiv today and to have the opportunity to meet those who are doing so much, and paying so high a price, to defend the principles of sovereignty and democracy.
Plan of Action.
Recognising that Ukrainians face a very difficult winter, with widespread blackouts of destruction of homes, schools and hospitals, the Prime Minister has also confirmed £12 million for the World Food Programme’s response, as well as £4 million for the International Organisation for Migration. The funding will help provide generators, shelter, water repairs and mobile health clinics. The UK is also sending tens of thousands of extreme cold winter kits for Ukrainian troops. Working with the Government of Ukraine, the UK has identified an initial eight construction projects to be supported by UK Export Finance, helping to repair Ukraine’s critical infrastructure and lay the foundations for economic recovery. The projects include six bridges and two housing projects, including a development in Bucha for some 2,250 residents.   Source: UK Government & THX News. Read the full article
Fives and Rex give the best hugs out of the entire 501st.
Everyone, even Anakin and Ahsoka, knows that they do, so whenever something major happens in a battle, or someone's just not feeling 100%, they know exactly who to go to. Even if it's just a quick, one-armed hug during shift changes, or a tight, crushing embrace after a particularly nasty nightmare, they're the ones to go to.
Shinies just back from their very first mission? Everyone points them towards Fives and Rex, who are absolutely ready to hug their younger brothers.
However, if you ask Fives and Rex who gives the best hug, they'll both automatically respond with the same answer.
Echo.
Fives knows his twin gives the best hugs, and has known since their days on Kamino. Echo was safe, he was home, and Fives had very fond memories of sneaking into his twin's bunk and getting wrapped up in his arms.
Rex gets his first Echo Hug post-Rishi, when he finds the twins sitting together quietly in a hall. He sits beside them, and Echo latches onto him, and Rex can't help but hug him back.
Echo's hugs were grounding. He didn't let go until the person he was hugging made the move to let go. He didn't care about how long he spent hugging someone, he let them hold on as long as they needed to. Sometime's he'd say comforting things, but more often than not he'd be silent, offering his support and comfort.
When Fives found out about the chips, there was nothing more in the world that he wanted more than one of Echo's hugs. He needed that strength, the reassurance that everything would be okay, As Rex held him, the last thing Fives thought about was that he was finally going to be able to get an Echo Hug again.
Rex cried the first time he and Echo really, really hugged after Skako Minor. He couldn't bring himself to tell Echo what had really happened to Fives, and Echo could sense there was something bothering his older brother. He knew Rex, though, and knew how stubborn he could be, so he just walked over and pulled him into a hug, and the two stayed together until it was time to bid farewell to the Bad Batch.
Echo doesn't really hug someone until Omega comes along. He exchanges affectionate pats on the back, the occasional group hug that Wrecker pulled all his brothers into after a particularly successful mission, but Echo doesn't hug.
Until the night he wakes up to Omega padding across the floor of the Marauder after Hunter's taken. He follows her, and as soon as he sees her red eyes and wet cheeks, all he can do is open his arms to her. Omega's surprised, of course, since the only one of her brothers she's full-on hugged is Wrecker, but she wastes no time in throwing herself at Echo, clinging to him, and trying to burrow as close to him as possible. Echo's immediately reminded of his twin, in their cadet days, after a particularly difficult day of training, and he just pulls Omega as close as he can, wraps his arms tightly around her, and rocks her back and forth, tucking himself around the little blonde as if he can shield her from the world.
The next person who gets an Echo Hug is Crosshair, who resists for all of ten seconds before melting into his older brother.
When the Batch meets up with Rex once they rescue Crosshair, and he sees the sniper with them, standing close to Echo, he can't help but smile, because he knows better than anyone that Echo's hugs are the closest to magic healing that you can get.
Please don't feel like you have to do this but I saw your previous recommended fic list and was wondering if you had any recommendations for Echo-centric Bad Batch fics. Or just good fics with Echo in the them.
Well I very much want to answer this! I've found some epic Echo fics lately, though some will overlap with the last list.
Finished:
Five Times Echo Cuddles (Or Is Cuddled By) His Teammates by @chiafett
Probably one of my favorite lil Echo fics. The title says it all.
Good Grief by hanged_albatross on AO3
The Bad Batch has always walk the line between life and death- but this time they might have gotten a bit to close for comfort.
When All Is Said And Done by hanged_albatross on AO3
A year after Order 66, The Bad Batch finds themselves cornered by the threat of the Empire and the need to take increasingly dangerous jobs to stay afloat. Just as the team seems to be reaching their breaking point, a job is offered that appears to good to be true. But when it all goes wrong, the Bad Batch must fight to survive in a galaxy turned against them and save one of their own.
When You Let It Leave, It Can’t Hurt You by @ameanstoanendor
The Bad Batchers find a holopic in their barracks when they return to Kamino after a mission. It holds nothing but bittersweet and painful memories for Echo, but he eventually learns that just because it hurts doesn’t mean he should forget.
The Time Passed In Exile by @letitrainathousandflames
This ones a bit sad and mature, so check the warnings, but also a wonderful read.
Having their deaths faked and their identities taken, ARC Trooper Fives and the clone trooper Dogma try to live in exile on a planet of the Outer Rim, away from everything they've ever known and trapped to a lonely existence. Things change when Rex brings another runaway trooper to live with them, Echo, a close brother to Fives' whom everyone had believed to be dead. The three clone troopers are broken and scarred by the war. Will they be able to help each other back in their feet? What is it of a soldier who cannot fight anymore?
Voices Long Gone by @lifeofclonewars
Fives' journey through hearing Echo mimic Cutup's accent following Rishi, and then some.
Rishi Rescue by @jgvfhl
A tantalizing transmission sends Fives and Echo back to Rishi Moon with the slim hope they're not the only members of Domino Squad who survived the invasion.
Reverberate by lildropofmagic on AO3
“Sometimes, sounds resonate in a really positive way - like when I heard you singing just now.” She grins at his stunned expression. “That’s why I came in here - to find the source of the vibration. My montrals really like your voice, Echo.”
OR A chance discovery helps Echo and Ahsoka find their places in the 501st Legion and weather the storms that come their way.
In Progress
In the Shadow of His Brothers by @laz-laz-ace-pilot.
One thing that makes this fic especially awesome and rare is Echo is alone in this. No Fives, no Bad Batch. Echo strikes out on his own to figure out how to free his brothers from the grip of the Empire.
Fate is Overrated, Anyway by @cyberpunksamurai
I love this fic and I'm glad its getting the attention it deserves.
"Having met up with Rex and Ahsoka, the Bad Batch and Echo have just one goal: survive. Fives also has one goal - remember.
AKA the one where Fives gets Winter Soldiered."
Nuhoyi, Vod'ika [Sleep, Dear Brother] by @lifeofclonewars
A whole bunch of awwww.
Or, 7 Times Someone Found Fives and Echo Asleep, 2 Times Fives or Echo were By Themselves, and 1 Time They were Reunited
WHAT THE PARTY!! (part-2)
He blushed for a second, giving her a side hug as they were sitting, says,
NIKHIL: ESHA...DUDE! YOU REMEMBER THAT, KEEPING YOUR MEMORY LOSS ASIDE. HOW CUTE!
She hits him on his shoulder after which he says,
NIKHIL: ESHA YESTERDAY AFTER OUR CONVERSATION I REALISED THAT I WAS AN ASSHOLE TO LET YOU LEAVE MY LIFE. NOW PUTTING ALL MY CONFUSION WHICH I HAD BEFORE, ASIDE I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I STILL....
ESHA: AH..ONE SECOND! I AM ACTUALLY REALLY HUNGRY. I WILL TAKE FEW MINUTES TO FRESHEN UP AND WILL MAKE SOMETHING IN THE KITCHEN OKAY?
After saying this she ran to the washroom and shut the door behind her when he laughs to himself saying,
NIKHIL: THIS IS SO ESHA. RUNNING AWAY FROM EVERYTHING!
She pulled a new brush out kept near the sink, uses it, washed her face and came out, changed her dress and wore one of his long t-shirt which fit her till her knees, walked to the kitchen and finds NIKHIL having his coffee standing in the balcony there. She finds a packet of bread and eggs there and asks him,
ESHA: ARE YOU OKAY WITH BREAD AND OMELETTE?
NIKHIL: YA THAT WORKS!
She takes the pan and makes everything in a few minutes after which he arrived behind her and takes the plates from her hands, outside, towards the dining table saying,
NIKHIL: YOU MADE IT SO I HAVE TO SERVE IT RIGHT?
Both of them laugh after which he feeds her his bread and says,
NIKHIL: JUST WANTED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU, LIKE THE OLD TIMES.
She doesn't say anything to it after which both of them have their brunch at 1 PM, sit in the hall when he asks,
NIKHIL: LET'S WATCH SOMETHING?
ESHA: AHH..BUT I AM HERE SINCE LAST NIGHT SO MAYBE IT'S BETTER I LEAVE NOW.
NIKHIL: SEE KEVIN AND TANYA HAVE GONE OUT MAYBE ON A DATE SO AFTER SHE COMES BACK HERE TO TAKE HER HAND BAG YOU BOTH CAN LEAVE TOGETHER. WHAT SAY?
ESHA: HMM...OKAY!
NIKHIL: SO OUR ALL TIME FAVOURITE MISMATCHED IS OKAY?
ESHA: OKAY COOL!
Both of them sit on the couch and start the season 1 of the series. They remember their memories as they watched it for the first time in their college days. She remembers how they meet in their college and how infront of the whole class he proposed to her in their second year after getting to know her in the first year. On the other hand, he thinks how he broke up with her in his old house, just because she became a bit busy in her work, her first job after college. He was so angry with her because she was unable to spend time with him so in anger he tried to pull her close to explain her something when she pushed him away from him after which he blocked her from his life like he did from all the apps of his phone which were used to contact people. He coming back to the present asks,
NIKHIL: YOU STILL FIND RISHI THE CUTIEST CHARACTER OF ALL OF THEM RIGHT?
She smiles saying,
ESHA: YA! LIKE YOU WERE AND STILL ARE MAYBE HEAD OVER HEELS FOR NAMRATA'S CHARACTER.
Both of them look at eachother and laugh when he says,
NIKHIL: I LIKED HER THAT MUCH BECAUSE SHE HAD ALL YOUR CHARACTER TRAITS. SHE IS YOUR PHOTO COPY, EXCEPT THAT SHE WAS A QUEER AND YOU ARE NOT.
She laughs and says,
ESHA: HA HA HA! VERY FUNNY!
After saying this as she looks at him he without laughing, coming close to her, on the couch and holding her hands says,
NIKHIL: ESHA! IT'S NOT FUNNY BECAUSE NOW I AM DEAD SURE THAT I REALLY LOVE YOU AND YOU ARE THE....
She stands up and moving away from him says,
ESHA: DON'T COMPLETE IT! I CAN'T HEAR IT AGAIN.
He stands up too and walking towards her says,
NIKHIL: BUT I AM SURE THIS TIME ESHA! LET'S GIVE THIS RELATIONSHIP ANOTHER CHANCE. COME ON!
She starts getting a bit panicky and says,
ESHA: I THINK I SHOULD LEAVE BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE HAPPENS. I WILL ACTUALLY CHANGE AND LEAVE.
The thunder sounds stricks with a few lightning inbetween the clouds and so does the rains start when he says,
NIKHIL: MAYBE THE RAIN GOD WANTS US TO FINISH THIS CONVERSATION.
She getting a bit annoyed and says,
ESHA: NIKHIL PLEASE! IT'S NOT FUNNY. I HAVE A CAR SO I CAN DRIVE.
He stops her from going inside the room to change saying,
NIKHIL: THAT'S NOT SAFE ESHA!
ESHA: WHY DO YOU CARE? I LEFT YOUR HOUSE THAT NIGHT AFTER OUR FIGHT DURING HEAVY RAINS SO I AM FINE WITH IT, OKAY?
NIKHIL: THAT'S WHY I AM NOT LETTING YOU GO THIS TIME.
She trying to move him away from her way saying,
ESHA: NOW IT'S TOO LATE NIKHIL.
NIKHIL: IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO LOVE ESHA.
After saying this as she was trying to move him away, he picks her up and taking her away from the room towards the couch there without listening to her puts her on the couch and holds her hands behind her, when she says,
ESHA: NIKHIL STOP IT! WE ARE NOT KINDS ANYMORE. LET ME GO. LEAVE MY HANDS!
NIKHIL: ESHA I LOVE YOU! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT?
ESHA: I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANYTHING ANYMORE. GET OFF ME!
NIKHIL: YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO RUNAWAY FROM EVERYTHING, EVERYTIME OKAY?
ESHA: JUST SHUT UP AND FUCK OFF!
He held both her hands under her and held both her cheeks with his hands, made her look into his eyes, kissed her forehead after which he comes close to kiss her lips and as their nose touch eachother, she starts getting scared and breathing heavily, continued saying,
ESHA: NIKHIL I CAN'T DO THIS. I AM NOT ABLE TO BREATH. JUST GO AWAY!
He after hearing that moves away from her when she turns to the other side, starts breathing heavily and to herself says,
ESHA: ESHA IT'S OKAY! IT'S OKAY! CALM DOWN!
He crawls, sits beside her and says,
NIKHIL: I AM SORRY! YOU NEVER USED TO GET PANIC ATTACKS BEFORE RIGHT?
She doesn't say anything when he brings few tissues from the kitchen and starts wiping her sweat saying,
NIKHIL: I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO THIS. I AM REALLY SORRY. I WILL DROP YOU HOME IF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE NOW.
ESHA: WATER?
He brings a glass of water and as she completes drinking it, she says,
ESHA: I AM FINE! THIS KEEPS HAPPENING TO ME ONCE IN A WHILE.
NIKHIL: FROM WHEN?
ESHA: AHH..ACTUALLY..
NIKHIL: I NEED TO KNOW THIS ESHA PLEASE.
ESHA: THE NEXT MORNING AFTER OUR BREAKUP, MOM AND DAD HAD A HUGE FIGHT AT HOME AFTER WHICH THEY HAVE DECIDED TO DIVORCE EACHOTHER AND THEN WENT BACK TO THEIR RESPECTIVE LIVES, LEAVING ME RIGHT THERE ALL ALONE IN THAT HOUSE FULL OF HAUNTING MEMORIES OF OURS AND THEIR SEPARATION TOO. THEY TILL DATE SEND THEIR RESPECTIVE SHARE OF LOVE IN THE FORM OF POCKET MONEY TO ME SO THAT I SURVIVE ALL ALONE WITHOUT THEIR NEED. OBVIOUSLY I DIDN'T HAVE MANY FRIENDS THEN AS YOU ALREADY KNOW SO I TRIED CALLING YOU AND AFTER A FEW CALLS I REALISED THAT I WAS BLOCKED FROM YOUR LIFE SO DIDN'T SHARE THIS WITH ANYONE TILL DATE THAT IS THE REASON THESE ATTACKS KEEP COMING WHEN I AM GENERALLY TOO STRESSED IN RELATIONSHIP MATTERS.
NIKHIL: OH SHIT! FUCK FUCK! I WAS NOT THERE FOR YOU WHEN YOU NEEDED ME THE MOST. AH...I HATE MYSELF FOR THIS.
She puts her hand on his shoulder and says,
ESHA: I KNEW YOU WOULD SAY THIS THAT IS THE REASON I DIDN'T WANT YOU TO KNOW ALL THIS.
He looks at her, holds her hands and says,
NIKHIL: YOU WERE WITH ME IN ALL MY WORST DAYS BUT I LIKE AN IDIOT DITCHED YOU WHEN YOU NEEDED ME THE MOST.
ESHA: NIKHIL IT'S OKAY! RELAX! IT'S THE PAST NOW RIGHT?
NIKHIL: I GET IT BUT I WANTED TO BE THERE.
ESHA: I AM FINE NOW! PUT THAT GUILT OF YOURS AWAY NOW.
NIKHIL: OKAY FINE!
ESHA: SO, YOU ARE OKAY NOW?
NIKHIL: MAYBE I SHOULD BE THE ONE ASKING THAT RIGHT?
Both of them look at eachother and laugh after which he asks,
NIKHIL: ICE-CREAM IN THE RAIN?
ESHA: LIKE OLD TIMES. SURE!
Both of them change, sit in his car, pick their ice-cream flavours from a roadside cycle, enjoyed it with, the music, the rain drops on the window, the cool breeze which hit their face, danced in the car with their hand moves, had a lot of conversations, changed their driving seat inbetween and finally in the evening at 7 PM they go back to his place where in the parking lot both of them hug eachother for a minute, after which she walks towards her car to leave when she turning behind asks,
ESHA: ARE YOU UNBLOCKING ME NOW?
He smiles saying,
NIKHIL: DONE IT ALREADY!
Both of them smile and wave a, 'BYE!' to eachother as she drives outside the gate to her place.
