look, guardian, do you see the additions to the buildings in the distance? new homes for both our people, here, beneath the great machine. they say that when a fireteam of guardians assembles, they can kill a god. but when all the guardians band together…they can achieve so much more.

This was a commission for the lovely @thesafehex of their character Asher (they/them) showing off for an unknown titan lady!! I loved working on this one as I think I've never drawn the Last City before!
Thomas doesn’t know when it started, wanting to kiss Newt all the time. They could be anywhere, in the most public place with Newt doing nothing specifically sexy but just cracking a joke or something and all Thomas wants to do is drag him to the nearest at least half-secluded place and get his hands on Newt.
Is it the citylife and the many possibilities it offers? Adventure that is not life threatening for once? Is it the rush of all the new experiences they’ve been making lately? Is it the new and wonderful feeling of just being, just living a normal teenage life for the first time ever and having fun that is so freeing for his mind?
Or: What they would have been up to if they stayed undercover with Gally in the Last City for a while? This is Gally, Newt and Thomas trying their luck as roommates and Newt and Thomas adapting to modern city life.
does living in the last city suck? probably. but thankfully, there are ghosts, and you can become friends with them
Now I'm just imagining Ghosts sneaking into the club with regular non-Guardian people, and they're dancing around together and just having a good time and being friends.
I love Festival of the Lost so much cause it reminds me of all the fun lore tidbits of what survived from pre collapse humanity like the names for Halloween and other holidays gone but their spirit remains.
Foods are another fun one like the ramen shop in the bazaar or Ikora bringing stir-fry to saladin and always it makes me think of what life is like in the city like what and where people eat.
Wonder what foods were never lost which ones survived or had to be re discovered or re invented.
My guardian is happy to pose for pictures for the people of the Last City. My fireteam-mate is not so enthused.
I think I finally figured out how I best like to combine my detailed lineart and painting-style shading. I'm quite pleased with the results! Please enjoy the hand-drawn lace and other little details~
