¡ Valentino redesing!

We finally have the baby!

(This redesign belongs to the Wish Au "Kingdom of wishes", written by @annymation and illustrated by @emillyverse and me)

This will surely be the redesign where I have the least things to say lol, but I still have some things to comment on so let's go!

At first I hadn't thought much about how I would redesign Valentino, what I was sure of was making him more adorable and cuter so that everyone would want to have a goat as a pet, because if I'm completely honest, Valentino's official design in the Disney movie I didn't find it adorable at all (sorry Disney artists, I know they put effort into drawing and animating but I just didn't like Valentino's design)

(Do you get my point? He's just not cute or adorable, and the voice they gave him didn't help either, or the face idk ,but I thought the joke about his voice at the beginning of the movie was funny ¯_(ツ)_/¯)

So I made a mental list of things I wanted to do (which aren't many if I'm honest): -Make it fluffier and fluffier -Give him other clothes -Add even one symbol in your redesign

Anny sent me several references of goats and concept art, among them I found this one, which I based myself on mainly because 1-I have always liked that animals had moles or spots on their fur or skin 2-When I saw that on their clothes You could see the seams that joined the different fabrics, I realized that it coincided with Asha's redesign (on the sleeves) so I was like: "AWWWWW it matches his mom's clothes!"

In the end I only added a part of it with a different fabric because I didn't want to complicate the design too much, but I liked how it turned out, I added some symbols of the tattoos that exist in the Amazigh culture, which is also to protect the person (or animal in this case) of the bad influences that are around them

I also liked adding that little ball of curly hair on our goat's little head, it just looks so cute!

FINAL COMMENTS!

As I said, this is not very long, but I'm satisfied with how the drawing turned out, I wanted to try something new that looks like the lighting was a sunset, I don't know if it's noticeable but at least it turned out nice lmao, as a curious fact, with this drawing I realized how MUCH my sketches change when I paint them in detail

So I was reviewing the official designs for Asha and Aster and realized I was drawing Asha’s hair wrong. Oops. So I drew her “correct” hair in her past version. Amazigh girls usually get their first tattoos during puberty, that’s why I didn’t draw Asha with hers yet.

Also I know Aster didn’t conjure up a little Asha in the story, but I wanted to draw past Asha. Got any guesses from where I got little Asha’s outfit from?

The glowing eyes of Aster’s… yeah they look a bit creepy. Idk. It’s a cop-out for drawing hands bc they are the worst Disney villain ever, so this way I don’t have to draw hands

Hi! There are role swap AUs of them already and I love them so much, so I tried making my own too! You should know that this is entirely self-indulgent like anything else I draw askdaslds

There is Mareach and Bowuigi bc yes alskdklasd and a tiny bit of one-sided Luaisy that leads to nothing because Luigi's a married man 😔

I had other drawings of them, but they're not colored yet and I wanted to share the idea already sjsjs

Here's some ideas for this AU!

-Mario's the Mushroom Kingdom Princess and his parents are the King and Queen. Luigi used to be the other princess, green princess or green princess Mario (as in, his bro Mario, not his last name Mario 😔), but he married Bowser and became the Queen of the Darklands :y Everyone in there respects and remembers his name, he's built a really good reputation for himself by simply being himself, in this house we believe in the 'Luigi is the Darklands' hero' hc too. Their aunt and uncles (and cousin) rule Sarasaland.

-(King boo's a Darklands ally but still hates Queen Luigi from that one time he wiped clean his mansion when the king kidnapped Mario. Luigi's scared of ghosts still too, but Junior always reassures him he's gonna beat them up if they try scaring his mama (I drew it actually, I'm gonna color it too!))

-When the bros were 20 Bowser at first tried kidnapping Princess Mario, and Mario was ready to beat his ass but they ended up talking about ally-making and ruling a kingdom as Bowser just got crowned king. Mario advised him to listen to his advisor and other stuff and by the time Luigi caught the koopa ship, ready to bonk Bowser in the head with his comically large hammer, the princess and king made plans of starting a treaty.

>Anyways, they met often after that when Bowser went to plan the treat with the Mario King and Queen. Luigi fell for Bowser and Bowser fell harder and Mario regretted talking to Bowser and should have instead just beat him up. He's happy for his bro though. When they married and had Junior and adopted the koopalings he decided that he was very happy that he talked to Bowser. He loves how happy Luigi is.

-Princess Mario accomplishes many things and excels at almost anything he tries, and all the toads treat him as a hero as well as a princess and all, so his dad doesn't think he's a failure, but still bothers him by urging him to get married ever since he turned thirty. He often compares him to Luigi, who got married at 23 and in the present had eight kids with his husband. Mario doesn't give a shit about marrying soon, but wished his dad would stop being annoying. His mamma is a sweetheart as always and often tells her husband to leave him alone. King Mario is stubborn as hell though (his two boys got that from him), so he doesn't.

-Peach and Daisy are cousins and they were trying to start a business together, though they weren't still sure about what (you know as Princess Peach and Daisy have many businesses together in canon aksdla), but before they could settle anything they somehow fell in the pipe and Peach landed in the Mushroom Kingdom and Daisy in the Darklands.

-Bowser still steals the Super Star, but in hopes of giving Luigi the coolest anniversary gift ever, as it's their seventh and all that. He very often gives him all sort of things, like great statues, many many dresses and all the stuff that he knows Luigi loves. Being the himbo he is, he's genuinely concerned that Luigi wouldn't like something unless it is completely new and has never been gifted to him at all. Of course, Luigi would love anything he'd give him, because Bowser's gifts are always made with love. By the end of the things, Luigi tells Bowser so and calls him an idiot affectionally, and also makes him return the Super Star. (movie-like, you know, since this is somehow a retelling alksdlasd)

-Based on what I read at discord, if you're who wrote it, pls know that i love your ideas jsjs- Bowser has set up many statues of Luigi that are of a nice stone color and has gems in its eyes to glow under the lava and the sun when it's out. Imagine that one Luigi render where he's got an arm raised and the other nicely by his side and he's smiling, that's the main statue of Queen Luigi sjjds. They contrast greatly against Bowser's, that were made to make his fierceness stand out, unlike Luigi's that highlight his kindness.

-In the piano scene, Bowser is playing and singing and Luigi's laying on his stomach over the piano's surface (no idea if that's possible but humor me alkdalsd) and listens with the most besotted expression ever, resting his face on his palms. When Kamek interrupts them Luigi's not mad or anything, but Bowser really glares at the magikoopa.

-Junior finds Daisy and brings her to the castle, in hopes that his mama and papa will help her, because they're the greatest people in the whole world and they can do anything.

-Daisy and Luigi quickly become friends, making Bowser jealous of the other human, especially because Daisy from time to time looks at Luigi as if she like-liked him. Not that he thought Luigi had eyes for anyone else beside him, but it was still annoying. And Diasy, for all she annoyed him, seemed to fully respect that Luigi was happily married.

-Daisy teases Bowser mercilessly too, at first clueless that she's supposed to be terrified and respect this guy like everyone else does (maybe Junior takes her to him first, and completely forgetting Junior's initial rambling about his family, she doesn't realize Bowser's the king, but when she meets Luigi, she sees his crown and fancy clothes and immediately knows she gotta be respectful to this guy. She doesn't know how royals are in this lava world, after all), but she keeps doing it, knowing the koopa king may look terrifying but he's mostly bark and no bite.

-DK and Mario are friends and they often meet up to beat the shit out of the other, or sparring as it's called, I think. The first time they did it, Mario got the cat power up and destroyed DK in front of the kong king and other kongs, and since then Cranky doesn't dislike Mario so much, and the others respect him greatly too.

-Mareach,,, they look at eachother and sparkles are in there too. Peach doesn't brutally throw Mario to the ground or anything, but he loses his breath anyways because of her beauty. Also, Mario's type is beautiful tall women (and tall idiot men, maybe his dad suggests DK as a husband and Mario's like ew dad, we're just friends. Or maybe... Donkareach... I like the fics that has them, but idk for this).

-Toad as a wingman, he doesn't care how obvious he is, he's gonna make Princess Mario and his new friend Peach be together, because they clearly like-like the other.

I'm gonna color the stuff I got left and maybe draw more, but knowing myself I dunno if I will anytime soon 😔 Also I go back to college the next week sadly sjsjd

The fae Prince has been captured by the human king, yet he shortly manages to escape.

Unfortunately his wounds were quite heavy since they weren't made by simple human weapons.

The young lady who fled away from home cause her parents wanted to marry her off. Has a weak personality yet on impulse she can be quite the trouble maker, she didn't wish to marry in the first place, especially with the young priest who happens to be a mean childhood acquaintance.

As she managed to flee quite far with the help of stolen goods from her home, she ended up living in a small abandoned cottage( which is actuallybetween the Briar Valley and human Kingdom territory).

Yet as the days passed she one day woke up with a stranger trespassing her home! The unknown man almost killed her on the spot yet due his dire injuries he fell unconscious before he could strike.

What shall she do ?! All I can say is that they

somehow end up living together for a while lol

this takes place a few day later after Malleus left(the briar valley knights found him so he managed to be treated properly and return home) our FM finally had been freed by the burden of sheltering Hornton (she doesn't know his real identity) only for her ex-fiancé to find her ! why keeps the young priest who happens to be from a prestigious family being so insistent on marrying this countryside pumpkin??

Made this……..was inspired by a comment @mindflayer-inc made on a Yamcha post, idk what the og post was about and can’t find it anywhere but the idea stuck and now here I am oop.🗿 Yamcha first born of Fire Moutain au?!? Idek what type of title to have for this au but the plot I cooked up was that Yamcha ran away from home and was disowned. Maybe I’ll make more art on it later at some point since this one took me forever, I have become a shrimp with my hunching ahh back while doing this.

I also wrote up some of this concept of him confessing to Bulma when they were still dating about his “past” and roots, so now this AU is ingrained into me. Without giving away too much of what I have planned, I figured it’d make more sense if the reason he ran away was because he was arranged to marry a girl his age from another kingdom since the Fire Mountain wasn’t doing so well and Ox King needed some assurance and that was the easiest way to do it. Yamcha, however, finds out about the arrangement and later on flees with the dowry💀💀which ties into why he beats up kids and steals money in the og series lmao.

Anyways. I actually like how this turned out but don’t flame me for the layout,😅I’ve never rly attempted to do a comic type art before and just figuring out how to was draining. Can I just say I love how goofy Puar gets👩🏽‍🦯. I wish they all kept their tails but alas.

Also I heard that “titling” or adding a header to art messes with the algorithm? I’m still new to tumblr so can someone explain that to me or confirm whether that’s true or not.

Movie Verse Super Paper Mario AU

Given how long my SPM comic has gotten, and the fact that it's about to become more obvious how much the story deviates from the original (particularly with DK filling the role of Bowser as a hero), I figured now would be a good time to put together a rough outline of the plot points in my AU.

This isn't required reading for my comic, this is just for everyone who wants some extra context and info about how my version of events differ from the original Super Paper Mario.

The story starts out with Mario and Luigi at home. Luigi is talking about how peaceful things have been lately, but unlike in SPM he has absolutely no desire to see this change.

Meanwhile, Mario is trying to pretend he isn't a little bored, and is quietly dropping suggestions that the two of them go off and explore some faraway kingdom to break up the monotony.

Suddenly, Toad bursts in in a panic, and The Mario Brothers are ushered to the castle as Toad hurriedly explains that Princess Peach has disappeared.

The three enter the crime scene: her bedroom shows signs of a brief struggle, but otherwise there is no clue to what might have happened except a letter that reads "If you wish to see the princess again, meet me within Bowser's castle" written in unfamiliar handwriting.

Despite this disappearance not matching Bowser's style at all, Toad and The Mario Brothers have little choice but to believe he has something to do with this. They decide to take the bait.

They enlist the help of Donkey Kong in the rescue mission, figuring it'd be best to have the extra muscle given how likely it is this is a trap (plus the karts are a more reliable form of transportation compared to the warp pipes.)

Despite the addition of a giant gorilla to the team, Mario & co. successfully sneak into Bowser's Castle undetected. The guards don't seem to be on particularly high alert. Stranger still, they can't find the princess anywhere.

When Bowser eventually discovers and confronts them, Mario explains the situation and presents the mysterious letter they found. Bowser is dumbfounded, but insists that whatever happened to Peach can wait until after he kills them.

Before things escalate any further, Count Bleck appears from a portal in sort of a rough recreation of this scene:

Bleck is pleased to see everyone gathered together, and presents the captive Princess "as promised."

Seeing this, Mario immediately leaps to attack the count despite Luigi's desperate plea for him to wait. Like in the game, this causes Mario to get knocked out. Soon after, everyone is sucked away into the dimensional portal except the unconscious Mario.

Mario awoken by Tippi, who– after brief introductions– teleports him away to meet Merlon so they can work together to stop Count Bleck with the help of The Light Prognosticus.

Mario isn't sure how he feels about the idea of prophecies... he doesn't really buy into the idea, despite how much he matches the physical description in the book... but if playing along means Tippi will help him stop Count Bleck and save everyone, he'll do it.

Meanwhile, everyone else awakens to find themselves at Peach and Bowser's wedding. Toad, Donkey Kong, and Luigi do their best to interfere as Nastasia hypnotizes Peach into saying "I Do." Ultimately, Mario's allies fail, and the marriage unleashes the chaos heart.

From there, things continue much like in the game, albeit with a few changes:

As described before, Bowser's role is filled by Donkey Kong. Bowser, in the meantime, aligns himself with Count Bleck to spare his own army from being brainwashed, biding his time until he can usurp the count and gain control of the chaos heart.

Toad is part of Mario’s group too. He isn't mentioned in the light or dark prognosticus, but he is determined to help out nonetheless (and actually does a pretty good job.)

Unlike in SPM, Luigi stays brainwashed the entire time. The first time Mr. L is defeated, Mario and his allies try to grapple him and drag him back to Flipside so Merlon can take a look at him, but Dimentio interfered and "rescued" Mr. L before they could manage it.

O'Chunks, Mimi, Dimentio, and Mr. L work together as a unit after failing their respective attempts to stop the heroes, leading to a couple of instances of all-out battle royale between Bleck's minions and Team Mario. Bleck's Minions, as dysfunctional as they are, don't succeed in stopping the heroes from obtaining any pure hearts despite their combined efforts.

The ending is where things really get switched up:

The main four, having gathered all the pure hearts, start heading to Castle Bleck to destroy the chaos heart.

In the frenzy of everyone preparing for the confrontation, Bowser... knowing that The Dark Prognosticus prophesied that The Man In Green would be the one to bring darkness to all... draws Mr. L away from the group and tries to kill him.

Dimentio, however, saves Mr. L, and working together they successfully incapacitate Bowser enough for Dimentio to send him back to his own dimension.

This rescue– plus the earlier rescue from the clutches of Mario– causes Mr. L to place misplaced faith in Dimentio.

Seeing this, Dimentio comes clean and asks Mr. L to join him in usurping The Count. He lies that Count Bleck has no intention of creating new worlds after destroying the old ones, and offers Mr. L a portion of his own power if he agrees to assist in making sure the universe goes on.

In my version of things, you have to agree to a partnership in order to get implanted with a floro sprout. It's sort of a contractual thing... one can't just plant something in your brain while you're unconscious.

At this point, Mr. L trusts him enough to tentatively agree to his terms and let him in. This is how Dimentio manages to get the sprout seed inside Mr. L's head.

Sure enough, after Mario, DK, Peach, and Toad defeat Count Bleck and his Minions... and just as Tippi begins to get through to the disheartened Blumiere... Dimentio and Mr. L swoop in to swipe the chaos heart and teleport away.

Mario, while rushing to grab his brother, is the only one who manages to get a glimpse of where they teleported to before both Mr. L and Dimentio disappear completely.

He keeps this information to himself as he and Count Bleck's forces hold a truce, tending to the wounded Nastasia and discussing what to do next.

During this meeting, Count Bleck finally answers the question that had been the minds of everyone on Team Mario: why brainwash Luigi? Count Bleck admits the prophecy in The Dark Prognosticus, explaining that he planned on using Luigi to destroy all worlds. What's more, he insists that if they really want to put an end to the chaos heart and the threat it poses, they will have to kill Luigi as well.

This sparks a heated debate. While everyone's shouting Mario says nothing, but silently slinks away from the group to catch up with Luigi and Dimentio on his own.

He knows that the two have merely gone into a chamber deeper within the castle. He knows where to look. If he can just get through to his brother, maybe he can be saved...

Which leads us right up to where my comic begins.

Icarus + Quixis Imaginary Childhood Friend AU

(I was hoping to present this as a little comic, but people aren't my forte, and it'll get out quicker if I write it😅)

Icarus inherited Fables abilities to create at a young age. They could make small toys to play with when they were bored or even make the sweetest treats for a sneaky midnight snack.

They preferred to keep to themselves, for they weren't allowed in the village often, especially alone and even when they were, other kids seemed to be different with them. They weren't sure why.

Their Mother was always willing to see what Icarus could make and would try her hardest to make any time to play with them, but alas, royal duties were always calling. Their father - while happy and proud they inherited their gifts - wished they wouldn't be so careless with them.

There had been a couple incidents where a brightly coloured, flying toy had flown into the courtroom, where they were in the middle of discussing their next siege. More pranks had been pulled than they could count. More than a few times were things around the castle had been damaged due to careless play. The times when Icarus' creations caused destructive setbacks to the kingdoms' resources were the worst.

But can you really blame a child for just wanting to have fun?

After the umpteenth time of getting a lecture from their father about their abilities, they were sent to their room - which was thankfully far away enough not hear their parents arguing - where they tried not to cry. They just wanted a friend to play with! But their parents were too busy and the servants had jobs to do.

The gears in Icarus' head began to turn.

Icarus' had fought imaginary baddies and creatures all throughout the halls and courtyards of the castle and since they didn't have any friends, they made their own out of stuffing and fabric.

Maybe Icarus could make a new friend, one they could actually play with, one only they could play with and pull pranks with and create new things together! One only they could see.

So Icarus closed their eyes and tried it.

A being that could appear and reappear with a word. A being that could think for itself. A being that would have the ability to make their games more fun. One that would want to be and like being their friend.

Icarus isn't really sure if they pulled it off, but they were very tired after trying it. They looked around the room. They were alone.

When they awoke the next morning, they saw a figure sitting on the edge of the bed, eagerly awaiting for them to wake up.

The figure almost looked like them, although their eyes were completely black and their hair was snow white. Splashes of colour covered their cloths as if explosions of rainbow had hit them. They also noticed the transparency of the figure, like a ghost.

Icarus almost made it to their door to alert their parents about the strange, intruding figure in their room, but the figure quickly appeared in front of them trying to calm them down, telling them to not be afraid.

They introduced themselves as Quixis and explained how Icarus' attempt to make a friend worked.

Icarus didn't believe it at first, but the more time they explained and the more they were with them, Quixis grew on Icarus.

It didn't take long for the two to see what mischief they could get into.

Quixis' gifts definitely made things more fun. They could change things into whatever they wanted.

What was once a rock now was a yummy muffin to consume. When Icarus would make shampoo potions in the sink, Quixis could could glicth it into a potion of night vision. When Icarus held a stick it became a wooden sword. They would prank the gardener's by changing all the flowers to one kind and they would change the colours of the walls to confuse anyone who walked past. They would glitch their cloths and play dress ups - even Quixis gave themselves a crown - and rule over their wacky kingdom together.

Icarus finally had a friend, and everyone thought they were just imaginary!

But Quixis was anything but and they also underestimated just how powerful Quixis could be.

Something happened.

Innocent play went wrong and Icarus got hurt. Bad. And when Quixis tried to help, they couldn't, panic making their glitching ability worse, spreading over the parts of the kingdom and it was that trail of wack that lead Fable and Isla to an Injured Icarus.

They recovered, thankfully, but Fable once again lectured Icarus.

Fable thought Quixis was just Icarus' Imaginary friend but after hearing how they came to be Fable was shocked. He was sceptical but after many "Please, Dad"s and puppy dog eyes, he decided to be okay with this new being. After all, it made his child happy, how could he say no.

But after weeks of seeing what this Quixis could do, change their kingdom, affect their crops, cause chaos, cause Icarus harm, Fable had to put his foot down.

If Icarus can create an invisible being, then Fable can create something to trap it in.

Icarus cried and begged for their father to not do it, telling them that Quixis promises to behave and that it was just an accident but Fable wouldn't listen.

Only Icarus could see Quixis being sucked into the cage, the only one to hear them begging for their help.

Fable took the small form of a prison and hid it where Icarus could never find it. And they never did.

Years passed and Icarus grew along with his new brother. Over time, they forgot about Quixis and their adventures. But Quixis remembers it all and as those years passed, Quixis also grew and not just in maturity but power. They eventually broke down their prison and broke out, but when they found Icarus again, they couldn't remember them.

No where else to go, they stayed with Icarus' appearing in times they felt like it, still causing pranks and trying to help them where they could.

Icarus may think they're a menace- they tell them every chance they get - but Quixis still sees their friend and is determined to get them to remember again.

What were your thought processes behind designing Aster?

Although it may not seem like it, designing Aster was one of the most difficult redesigns I have done so far, I actually had an idea of what to do with him, but I knew I couldn't put many details since Aster is 2d and the characters are animated in this style have a simple design, I did several tests in fact

(Please ignore how disproportionate the body is, that's why I changed Aster's pose like 10 times lol)

And speaking of the poses, idk what happened to me was that I simply didn't like ANY of the poses I drew for Aster, to the point where it started to be stressful. I'll summarize my situation like this:

That is one of the reasons why it took me a little longer to design Aster, then thanks to taking a break and the support of @emillyverse and @annymation (thanks by the way :] ) I managed to resume the drawing and there is a pose that I liked for our star boy

Another thing that was complicated for me with Aster was his hair, because it was literally the flame of a candle, I made quite a few sketches so that Aster's hair looked as aesthetic as possible while I asked myself "How the hell did Disney and Pixar manage to make Hades and Ember look so good with fiery hair?????"

In the end all the effort was worth it, Aster's design is one of my favorites and with the best coloring done so far in digital :D

Production stages of the Fan Comic of "The Wish Kingdom" !!!

And as promised, here is the "schedule" I said I was putting together for the Comic fic production process.

In the end, this isn't really a "timeline", it's more like a list of what I'll do to build the comic. I want to make all the processes very clear and described to give you an idea of how it will be done and a small idea of how long it will take.

Remembering that I am a human being, not an AI to do things quickly, I have another life beyond networks and this project.

Besides the fact that none of us are being paid to do this comic (although I really wanted to, I'm not going to lie), all of this is being done on the basis of love, affection, positivity and adoration for the initial concepts dispensed by Disney, their classic films that really made that company grow and the main messages conveyed by Walt Disney while he was still alive: "If you can dream something, you can make it happen!" and "It's fun to do the impossible!"

So please be patient and kind to me and the entire team! I already love, adore and thank everyone willing to follow our project.

Well… Let's get started!

1- Rereading and Separating the text:

Starting today (02/26/2024) I will be re-reading Anny's fanfic, separating all of her text into scenes, highlighting the following points:

Atmosphere

Characters (designs made by @uva124)

Speeches and facial expressions - the message

Thus defining "who says what, how and in which place?"

Since I will be doing the setting art myself, as the story progresses, I would really appreciate a little help. I'm guessing if you're reading this you've probably already read The Kingdom of Wishes and consequently imagined the scenarios! If you find any images online that remind you of the locations of the scenes in your mind, you can send them to me as a reference! I'm always open to references for drawings!

2- Make the "Thumbnails"

I don't know what term foreigners use to define the thumbnails that make up the first drafts of comics, but here in Brazil, we call them "Doll", in reference to the fact that the sketches are a "test doll" for the comic strip .

Anyway, I digress! It is at this stage that I define the composition of the scenes through sketches. This is where I define what appears or not in the scene, what the scene will be focused on, how I will guide the reader's eye by the meaning of reading the scene, where the lines, the characters, their movements and others will be located… It's a planning phase on how to portray the scenes; the most complex I would say.

3- Review

Here I take a break for two days or three days at most, to relax and forget about the project for a bit. I come back with new energy and review everything that was done, ask for opinions and suggestions from the team, in short, I give a great evaluation and improvement in everything!

4 - Finalization and Publication

In this last step, I transform the sketches into final artwork using graphite pencils, colored pencils and pens that I have available.

When they are all finished, I will publish the comics here and on all my social networks!

IM FINALLY HAPPY WITH RULER'S DESIGN LETS GOOOOO!!!

Meet Ruler, the Dreemurr Family crown that's become corrupted. In this "everybody lives" AU, Asriel Dreemurr has become King at age 16 out of story-specific circumstances. Left to govern amongst humanity's corrupt political leaders, it seems Asriel has become a villain in Chara's eyes.

Asriel never returns any phone calls or texts. He hasn't been home for 5 years. In that time he's used a sanitized version of their shared tragic backstory to win favor with humanity. That's escalated to profiting through manga and merch sales. It, by all appearances, seems Asriel has become greedy and self sighted.

As a symbol of this change, Asriel gets a new crown adorn with expensive jewels. The previous one is returned to Asgore, where it sits abanonded in his garden.

Chara, Suzy (UT!Susie) and Frisk visit Asgore, they learn he's selling his garden. (Among other circumstances that's plot heavy) Chara stabs into the ground and creates a darkworld -thus Ruler is born.

Ruler is symbolically the corruption of the crown, used to further capital. To Ruler's perspective, Asriel is trying to sit in the big leagues with corrupt, sinful politicians and they weren't good enough. Envious of this, Ruler pursues their own kingdom with the same ideals. They wish to destroy the garden darkworld and work the inhabitants to gain more money.

Character wise I'd describe them as a mix of the Onceler and a comically over the top dirtbag cartoon villain. Way too Evil, but is funny about it.

Goldenheart AU

Should I really start thinking up a whole other AU when I'm still trying to plan out one? No. Am I gonna do it anyways? Yes.

Quick note #1, this is a mix of Band AU and "Separated Childhood friends who meet again as adults (except one doesn't know it's their childhood friend)" AU.

Also a note at the end.

Nimona Spoilers (Maybe? Not sure, but I'll out a cut here just in case)

In this AU, there's no kingdom surrounded by big ass walls with canons, although I'm not sure if there are shapeshifters or not (Nimona's still there, I'm just not sure if they can shapeshift or not or if they're just this weird energetic teenager). What is there though is social classes.

The Queen, aka Valerin, is Ambrosius' mother and she runs a very successful company. Ambrosius is therefor part of the richer class which basically has access to anything.

Ballister Boldheart, on the other hand, although he isn't living on the streets, his family isn't doing the best when it comes to money and he does some easy jobs to try and gather money to help his parents.

The boys meet at the park one day. Ambrosius was out playing with some friends from school (Todd maybe with a few random OCs) when he saw the scrawny boy picking up trash, so he decided to approach him. Turns out the scrawny boy (Ballister) was picking up trash to help the park keeper who'd then pay him depending on the amount of trash he picked up

Ambrosius felt bad for him so he decided to help him and didn't leave until his mom's secretary and his nanny (The Director, who else) came to pick him up

The Director obviously saw the two interact and didn't think much of it, until Ambrosius starts asking for money from his mom to help his new friend, which she actively gives him and praises him for helping people in need, and then Ballister's coming to visit and now the two are inseparable

Now she obviously doesn't like that, but she brushes it off thinking that this'll pass when Ambrosius grows up and realizes that he's much better than that

But then something happens (you choose what, can be a death, something good with the company) and Ambrosius has to move away, so the two boys who have been friends for like six-seven are now separated and heart broken, and since Bal can't afford a phone they won't be able to keep in touch, and he outright refuses to let Ambrosius give him one, so now they're separated

Fast forward a few years, it is now Ambrosius' 21st birthday, and to celebrate, he's allowed to choose one band that Valerin will pay to show up, and he chooses the Shifters/The Shapeshifters/whatever else references the movie or comic

The Shifters are a small band that's pretty recent, but Ambrosius loves their songs, and he thinks the lead singer, who goes by Bal, is cute

The band shows up and Ambrosius is having the time of his life, even more so when two members of the band, Bal and Nimona, come to personally wish him a happy birthday

Obviously, he's just talked to his celebrity crush, so he fails to notice just how familiar Bal is, and he doesn't think he'll ever meet the man again

Bal, on the other hand, is well set on seeing Ambrosius again, because holy fuck that's his childhood friend, and he had to practically beg Nimona and the rest of the band (some OCs maybe) to come here just so he could see him

Ballister started this band in hopes that it would take off and he could make a living out of it to help his parents (for plot convenience, it works out or not, depends what direction you wanna go)

So, when Ballister sees Ambrosius again in a cafe, he strikes up a conversation and they end up talking for a long while and end up exchanging numbers

What isn't planned in the plan is for the Director to recognize Ballister and know how much of a crush Ambrosius has on him (despite him not knowing who he really is) and she doesn't like that because someone from higher class dating someone lower class like Ballister hell no

Then starts her plans to foil everything, Nimona being slightly annoyed at Ballister desperately trying to get back in contact with his friend, Ambrosius having a celebrity crush that surprisingly actually works out and Valerin being oblivious to all of this

Ambrosius looks pretty much just like he does in the movie when he's wearing his civilian clothes, except he has long hair with the under part shaved (Is there a name for that haircut?)

Valerin and the Director dress like business women instead of royals

Nimona has basically the same style, except add a bunch of colour: pins, dyed streaks of hair, bright bracelets, etc.

Ballister has a similar style to Nimona, and he dyed a streak of his hair pink (because I can)

That's all I got for now. If this catches anyone's eye, I'll make another part exploring why the Director dislikes the mix of classes so much and how she frames Ballister this time, or the next part can also be about how Bal and Ambrosius get closer.

Quick note #2, this doesn't have anything to do with this, but I'm starting to realize most of my ideas come when I'm doing the dishes, and as dumb as it is, it gives me motivation to do them, so I'm not complaining

Quick note #3, I'm thinking of doing and angsty one shot of that one scene where Ambrosius gets stabbed and it's actually him, except Ballister sings "You Are My Sunshine" to him as he dies because Ambrosius used to sing it to him before everything. Would anyone read it if I posted it?

Hi! You may not know me, but my name is Toasty! It may seem like this is coming out of the blue, but I wanted you to know that it was such a pleasure to see the progression of your Knight AU comic! The way it just came to life was breathtaking! I love the premise behind it and it actually encouraged me to take a look at your other work too (your most recent spamton animation currently holds a special place in my heart)

As of late I ended up making something that was kinda the result of a pen going haywire combined with some strange 4 am energy- that something being this (as well as a written piece!):

As it says on the bottom, there was some inspiration that was drawn from your Knight AU and paper-lilypie’s Runaway AU. Holding that in mind, I just wanted to get the thumbs up from you before I did anything with this! The main aspect that was drawn from your Knight AU was the role that Sun and Moon play in this AU- where they were initially knights! They will then go on to rule as kings in an opposing kingdom, where the Y/N of this AU is to escape an arranged marriage to Afton- but anyways! I will also be asking for permission from paper-lilypie just to be absolutely sure it is okay with you both, and I will also be including the links to both of your respective AUs. :)

If you are not comfortable with me posting this, then that is absolutely fine with me! I completely understand and I would never wish to intend any harm on you or the integrity of your work. I do wish to let you know that I really do admire your art. We all know the Mario Movie’s weaknesses by now, so what are the movie’s strengths?

What were the things you really loved/liked about the film that made you create you really good Super Mario universe au comic?

Definitely the animation and character designs. The artists and animators were able to translate the game designs seamlessly into the movie. Even the environments still retained its cartoony look with out being too realistically detailed.

The moments between Luigi and Mario are the highlights of the film, as well as the action parts which are really fun and energetic. I also like how we got to see the Mario family for once, even though I wish we had gotten some more time with them.

As for my comic, after seeing Marilyn the first time in the dinner scene (her real name is never revealed. I just call her Marilyn because in the Mario super show live action segments, the bros had a cousin with that name.). I couldn't stop thinking about her and what her personality would be. I also thought about what her relationship was with the bros and her reaction to their adventure in the Mushroom Kingdom and everything that they went through. And before I knew it, I made Sleepless, the prologue to Super Mario Universe.
