I recently watched El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera and please, just hear me out.
Django looks like he's La Muerte and Striker's son! He's a skeleton and is from Mexico like La Muerte, and he's also a cowboy just like Striker! Even the clothes he wears are very similar to Striker's and his color palette is similar to both La Muerte and Striker.
He also plays the guitar, a shared taste that he has with both La Muerte and Striker. La Muerte appreciates music for being a festive goddess of El Día de los Muertos (that and she supported Manolo being a musician in the Book of Life) and Striker himself plays the guitar and composes his songs.
Also... Django is a name that I'm 100% sure Striker would give his son and La Muerte wouldn't mind leaving that name to her son if that's what her lover chose.
I know that Django is the son of El Machete, the grandson of Sartana and consequently makes him the great-grandson of La Muerte and Xibalba. Just let me have the opportunity to have to relate Helluva Boss, The Book of Life and El Tigre in some way along with Striker and La Muerte that I love them very much <3

I'm curious. Can I see you as a cat?
Indeed yes!
*She transforms into a glow of marigold petals*
I assume you meant that I have cat ears, right?
*She pets the kitten and it purrs*
I mean, I could transform into a cat if you want, we gods can take on all possible life forms.

I finished this before I went to my first ever con!!! It was so much funnnnn
The Book of Life is so damn underrated, and La Muerte has always been my favorite, maybe I'll do Xibalba when I have the time. I was experimenting a bit with screentones since I recently downloaded like a crappp ton of new brushes to use with coloring, which was fun to play around with and then finalize here

Y/N: I've never exactly been a believer...
La Muerte: It's okay, you're free to believe whatever you want, corazón.
Y/N: But for you, I would bow and pray every day! 🛐
La Muerte: Ay, mi corazón 🥰

You know how micte is the goddess of death? There's a species of a mysterious and feared dragon that is called (said to be) the "offspring of lightning and death itself". These are known as night furies. Do you know about night furies? Is there something you wanna talk about?
Yes, indeed, my sister Lady Micte was the goddess of death. The reason she was, is because we as goddesses were assigned a title to follow, Micte's labor was to be the goddess of death; I inherited the Land of the Remembered from our mother and my sister, La Noche, inherited the Land of the Unknown from our father.
The rest of my sisters are also in charge of other tasks as goddesses.
And about the night furies, I have heard about them, I remember that Micte was in charge of guarding those; but since her death, La Noche took charge of doing it and now they live in the Land of the Unknown.
I couldn't tell you more about these creatures, but if you want to know more about them, I recommend that you ask my sister, La Noche.
I'm sure she can give you all the information you want.
(Author's note: I really did research on the creatures you mentioned and couldn't find any information, so if I'm wrong about something, please correct me.)
