Rain loves it when Dew is needy like this. He’s so compliant, so desperate to get what he needs that he’s willing to do anything to get it. And when he bends forward, arms out in front of him, ass in the air and tail flicking in anticipation, Rain can’t help himself. He slips behind his little Ghoul, runs his hands along his hips and grips them hard enough to bruise. And he tries, he really does, but he can’t resist leaning forward and biting at his hips. Rain loves seeing his marks all over his mate, loves showing everyone who he belongs to.

“R-rainy please-” he whines, earning a tug on his tail and a smack on his ass from Rain. He knows it’s going to leave a webbed handprint behind and he groans, excited to see what it looks like later.

When he finally slides in, he knows neither of them are going to last long. Dew is too needy, clenching at him like his life depends on it, and Rain is too turned on just from the sight of how wrecked Dew already is. He’s incoherently babbling, desperately pushing his hips back into Rain, and Rain just chuckles.

“Fuck, Firefly, I love when you’re so needy for me. Taking me so well, aren’t you? My good boy.”

Rain doesn’t stop until Dew has cum so hard he blacks out, just like he wanted. And when Dew finally comes to, he’s snuggled in Rain’s arms with his favorite movie playing.

Hello again my dearest and thank you for your question! You know I haven’t forgotten about my favorite sad boy, and I’m glad to see you haven’t either. Time to grab a chair and get ready for today’s Ted Talk with a Heathen…

Actually we gunna go under the cut cause yall I rambled to oblivion and beyond, who woulda guessed? 🤣

As it stands, Gio is very happy with the way things are. Except he’s only able to do this by more or less ignoring Jo’s feelings (because despite her best attempts to hide it, it’s still palpable to anyone who loves her), or writing it off as something else (which we see him do in the most recent post).

You see, Gio knows he’s at least partially responsible for Jo’s unhappiness. He knows he lied to her and more or less manipulated her to get what he wanted even if he’s able to tell himself part of it was for everyone’s safety/happiness. It’s something that he struggled with during the early part of the decade, but now that she’s seemingly adjusted and very purposefully trying to hide her true feelings, Gio has accepted his actions and embraced their new lives.

Because at least at this point in his life, Gio wants what he conceives to be the American Dream. He thinks it’s the key to happiness and success, and as we’ll see, is very deeply rooted in his own internal struggles and past. Part of this is embodied in his journey out West, the classic American idea that he can own land and “make it” simply through hard work and will. With over a year left on his loan maturation, Gio is happy with his position on his farm. Thanks to Zelda (which he’s very aware of and thankful to her), at least that aspect of his American dream has come true.

Now of course the secondary part of the “classic” American dream is that Gio wants a family. As discussed here, Gio is fine with not having children. Mostly for that reason, their current living situation works very well for him. Gio is gregarious and social, fond of having friends always nearby. He’s living with his best friends and niece, all of whom he loves spending time with and satiates the need to be surrounded by family (since he may have issues with his own 👀).

But beyond that, Gio wants a wife. He wants what he’s been told is the core and central unit to living a fulfilling life and making all his dreams come true. He is also still naive enough to think that it will solve many of he and Jo’s problems, because he’s absolutely convinced that life can be improved by the virtue of certain choices alone. And as Jo astutely realizes in the last post:

Gio has seemingly gotten what he’s always wanted: his own land, a family, and the wife that eluded him so many times before. He’s buried his guilt from what he did to get it, and his life is more or less stable. He thinks he has little to worry about, other than maybe the loan in a year or two, continuing to provide for his found family, and emotionally supporting Josephine so long as it doesn’t pop the bubble that he’s finally gotten what he wanted.

His American dream has seemingly come true. Only he’s sacrificed the women he loves to get it, and he hasn’t realized it yet.

I needed something sweet and cute after making myself sad channeling my pain frustrations into that Raindrop piece so have some cute Rulti kisses and video games!

“Do you always have to pick the ghost?” Rain laughed, scrolling through the character selection screen.

“Are you serious?” Phantom turned all the way around to look at Rain on the sofa. “Of course I do! Boo is the best.”

Rain shook his head. “Disagree. Princess Peach is definitely the best. Especially in her cat onesie.” 

Both Ghouls laughed as they started up another race. Phantom was cross legged on the floor, their tongue pushed out between their fangs as they focused on trying to beat Rain. Rain was cuddled in a blanket nest in the corner spot of the common room sofa, mostly watching how intense Phantom was focusing but doing his best to at least try to play. He loved playing video games with the little Quint but he loved seeing how excited they got when they won even more.

As the two raced around the bright and colorful Rainbow Road map (one of the favorites of the entire pack, if you were to ask them), Swiss walked in to the common room. He leaned against the wall and just watched the two Ghouls as they drove around the track and bantered back and forth. After they made it through another lap, he walked to the back of the sofa and crouched down behind Rain.

“Hey Rainbow,” he whispered in Rain’s ear, his thousand watt smile clear in his voice. 

“Mmm hi baby,” Rain smiled, keeping his focus on the game. “You want to come play with Bug and I? I’m sure they’d love to have you join us.”

Without missing the box they were aiming for, Phantom threw back a thumbs up. “Yes please!” They cackled as they threw a red shell out, hitting Rain and getting in front of him.

“Fucking red shell…” Rain grumbled.

Swiss laughed and went to stand, bending to plant a chaste kiss on Rain’s lips before heading into the kitchen to grab a snacks and drinks for the three of them. He came back just in time to see Phantom celebrating their victory and took a seat next to Rain. “I take it they won?” 

Rain shook his head, chuckling. “How could you tell?” He leaned over and pressed the remote into Swiss’ hands. “As much as I love seeing them win, sometimes they need to be humbled,” he whispered, a hint of his fangs peeking as he smiled and winked at the Multi Ghoul.

Swiss took the remote and kicked his feet up on the coffee table while Rain laid his head on his lap. He gently pulled Swiss down to him by his chin, kissing him with a smile. “What was that for, hmm?”

“For luck.” Rain smiled, turning to face the screen. “Not that you need it or anything.”

Swiss ruffled Rain’s hair and made a show of cracking his knuckles before grabbing the remote. “Alright Bug, let’s race.”
