I really need pinterest to learn the difference between natural nails and nude acrylic/gel enhancements

#the 'your nails but better' trend doesn't help #neither does the awful 'clean girl aesthetic' #like they look great & when i can afford to get my nails done regularly that's exactly what i want my enhancements to look like #to reduce breakage & maintain a uniform length & shape (which i totally suck at doing myself) under my regular lacquer #but they're not what i'm looking for when i search for natural nail manicures #grunge holds a grudge about pinterest #i mean. i'm not actually mad- more like mildly miffed- but i am in pain and everything is making me cranky #(i re-injured my toe on saturday and then had to walk around walmart for over an hour today in not-weather-appropriate footwear)

"Why didn't you get it in the cups? Where it's already all seeds?" He asks and you shrug, still holding the fruit out.

He doesn't want to do it, not because he just doesn't want to; but because he doesn't really know how to peel a pomegranate.

But he nods with a smile as he grabs it from you and moves to grab the cutting board. "Of course, baby."

JJ chuckles a bit as he raises his brows in slight amusement, tilting his head towards you.

"What? Can't peel it on your own?"

He snickers, sort of making fun of you and you just shrug, holding it out to him again and he rolls his eyes playfully as he takes it from you.

He digs his nails into the skin of the fruit as he peels it back. He's a bit messy with it, but he gets the job done.

He takes one of the slices, popping it into his mouth and hands you the rest.

"There. Is there anything else of yours that I can peel off?"

"Of course." Pope hums and stops right in his tracks, he doesn't even question it or give you a confused look.

He gets down on his knees, patting one for you to place your shoe on his knee and he brings your hand to his shoulder to use as leverage.

He smiles as he ties your shoe, a simple task that he knows you could have done yourself but he doesn't mind doing it for you.

He taps your other shoe so both of them are tied the same and have less of a chance of untying without you even having to say anything.

He finished both shoes and dusts off his knees as he grabs your hand, entwining it with his and he places a kiss on your temple.

"There. Anything else you need?"

Rafe looks over at you, not quite hearing you the first time so he walks over to you, leaning his golf club against the golf cart where your seated.

He's amused and a bit astonished at your request because it's so simple for you to do it yourself. He even narrows his gaze at you a little bit and you only smile.

"Are you fucking with me?"

"So is that a no?"

He inhales deeply and sighs, grabbing it from you. "Fine."

Rafe grabs your face softly to tilt your head up as you pucker your lips at him and he applies the lipgloss to your top and bottom lip in a fresh glossy coat.

"There. All better now?"

You nod, smiling and he can't help but smile back as he places a kiss on your lips and you groan that he messed it up.

He only shrugs and leans back in for another.

Leo pulled you closer against his plastron, face tipped up and eyes closed as he slowly allowed himself to relax.

Your fingers were soft on his scales, tiny points of connection that he was hyper aware of as you slowly mapped your way across his skin.

The tip of one nail scored along the side of his pectoral scute, and he shivered underneath you, letting out a low hum at the feeling.

"Sorry." You whispered, pressing a kiss to his shoulder in apology.

"S' alright." He said softly, not moving when your palm pressed flat agaisnt his bicep. "It's doesn't hurt, not anymore."

He was aware of how your expression had crumpled upon seeing the almost surgically clean crack up on side of his top left scute, though your expression and scent when his whole shoulder had been covered in bandages had been far worse. In a way, he's morbidly thankful that the blade had been so sharp and well maintained. Now that the wound was fully healed and filled with ceramic epoxy, there were no harsh edges to scrap against you, barely any sign of how deep the wound had been.

It hurt though, to watch you touch him so hesitantly. He loved it when you let your fingers travel over him, had lost count of the hours you'd gently explored his tattoo or the whorls on his shell.

And now...

He reached down, palmed the back of your head, held you close while you stared at the scar on his shoulder.

Now, if he could go back in time, he wouldn't have hesitated to gut his opponent when he had the chance.

Your head tilted upwards towards him, brows drawn up in the middle and lower lip quivering, and he blanked on what to do, had no idea how to make it better.

Slowly, so slowly, the very edge of your finger traced along the healed crack, and he fought not to let his breathe stutter at the feeling, chills erupting along his limbs.

"I love you, Leonardo." You whispered it against his skin, but he heard the words you were really saying.

I almost lost you.

"I'm here." He answered, and knew from the warmth of tears slipping across his collar that he was right.

Mikey was sure you thought he was asleep, the way you moved so slowly, your touch whisper soft as you pet over the curves of his arm, tracing the orange flowers and shaded dots, running your finger over and over the carefully ink lines. It felt so nice, and he was content to let you explore for as long as you wanted, until your finger whispered over to rest on the scar tissue right at the edge of his plastron.

You gasped when he moved, when he pulled your hand off the damaged, raised scales and tucked your appendage around the far edge of his chest. His heart twinged at the sound, so he pulled you closer so you wouldn't think he was pushing you away.

"I'm sorry." Your whisper was small, and the regret in those two words had him rubbing a hand soothingly up and down your back, internally cringing once more.

"Don't have to be sorry, baby." He said softly, pressing a kiss into your hair. "It's just a little sensitive when I'm not expecting it."

You were quiet against him for a moment, and he silently hoped that you'd drop it, that you wouldn't ask...

"What happened, Mike?"

He breathed out slowly, hope dashed, and tried to decide what to say. Some time had passed, he technically should be ok to acknowledge the wound, but whenever his thoughts trended towards that night, the hurt bubbled up once more.

He didn't want to spoil his time with you bringing up old ghosts. Didn't want to make you wonder if he had ever accessed you as a potential threat despite the length of your relationship.

"I love you." He said instead, giving you a squeeze and pressing his mouth once more to your hair.

Your arm tightened around him, holding him close, hoping one day he'd be able to tell you. That one day he'd let you help soothe whatever wound he hid.

Raph (Dangerous Man by Little Dume)

Raph could feel you, barely, draped over his carapace, your soft hands rubbing that coconut scented lotion across his scutes and making sure the various cracks across the surface were still filled with ceramic epoxy and smooth to the touch.

"Feels good, sweetheart." He rumbled, relaxing into the sweet treatment, letting a churr come out when you finished and simply splayed across the width of his shell.

"You'll have to let me do the front in a little bit, big guy."

He grunted at the thought of your soft fingers ghosting across his chest. "Not all the ones on the front are filled in yet. Don wants to give 'em another week."

You gave a little sigh at his words, and his heart twinged heavily at how weary the sound was. When you remained silent however, he shifted one arm back, letting his fingers curl around your ankle in silent askance.

"You always have new cracks, Raph." You whispered, voice almost breaking on his name, and something slimy curled up under his plastron, stifling his throat.

He had to swallow twice before he could gruffly say. "Sometimes it just happens, sometimes it's just the only way."

Your foot twitched in his grip, your next words pressed against the central scute on his shell. "No one else has this many cracks, Raph."

He let spark of anger in your sentence boil under his skin, tried to breath it back down before giving a little tug on your foot. He rose up and tipped to the side, sliding you off his carapace to land with a huff on the mattress.

"No one else has this many cracks because I take 'em for them." He said, trying to sound serious, knowing you probably saw through to the ire beneath. "These cracks could be on Mikey, on Don, hell a few even got Mr. Perfect Ninja's name on 'em. So don't-" He broke off, suddenly aware of how your face had done deathly still and red.

You were trying not to cry. He sighed heavily, letting his head hang and brush against the bed, taking a deep breath of the combined scents of you and him to calm himself down.

"I'm sorry I-" The feel of your foot on his plastron cut him off once more, when you used the leverage to push away from him and slid to the edge of the bed. You stood, turned to look at him, eyes red.

"You're more than just a protector, Raphael." When he opened his mouth to retort, you held up the empty bottle of lotion. "I'm gonna go get that disinfectant lotion from Donnie."

And then you were gone, and he slumped fully on his shell to wait for your return.

Donnie (Hey There, Delilah by The Plain White Tees)

Donnie doodled away one-handed on the notepad balanced on his thigh, his other hand softly rubbing back and forth across your lower back where you were tucked in close, snoozing away to the point a gentle snore burred in your nose.

The Lab was relatively quiet, only the sound of soft classic rock playing from his main computer around the bend and the gentle ping of the Atari game still on standby where you'd fallen asleep halfway through the game an hour earlier providing the background noise Donnie needed to sit still.

He didn't pause writing when your snore caught, and you sleepily turned into his hand, a secret smile ticking the corner of his mouth when you grabbed his hand with gentle pressure and moved it so he was palming the soft swell of your stomach.

"Time?" You asked, voice sleep laden and raspy, and he hummed back, letting his thumb press against your flesh in acknowledgement.

"Only an hour later." Donnie assured you, eyes flicking over briefly when your soft hands started trailing up and down his arm, over the bubbly texture that even after all this time he knew you didn't expect.

"S'cold." You said, nails gently scratching over his ruined scales, and Donnie twisted his hand, the stretch a burn in his wrist, to trail the rough texture of his thumb over your own, conscious of the pressure he was exerting against you.

"That hand's always colder." He could go into detail, explain restrictive blood flow and damaged, seared nerves, but the press of your lips against his palm quieted his mind, let him focus instead on the pressure and tingle that shouldn't be there instead.

You sighed, tucking his hand into the neck of your hoodie, and he huffed out a laugh that could have been a snort, returning to his notes, his half ruined hand slowly warning up inside your clothes.

"Are you doing your exercises?" You asked, sounding closer to sleep once more, and he nodded before remembering you couldn't see.

"I have to," He clicked the pen, set aside his notes, and sighed heavily, rolling over to spoon against your back. "If I wanna keep being able to grip my Bo."

He flexed his hand inside your hoodie, and you grumbled, hiking up his arm so the both of you could lay properly, trapping his misbehaving hand in a position that hopefully would keep it from falling asleep.

You can try starting slowly incorporating more masculine-styled women's clothing into your wardrobe. This is usually a gradual process anyway since it can take time to save up enough money to purchase enough new shirts/pants/shoes etc. to fully replace your current wardrobe, especially if you're working part-time as a babysitter, dog-walker, etc.

Clothes that are more structured or straight-cut, like button-down shirts or straight-leg pants, can help create a more traditionally masculine silhouette. Layering with hoodies or jackets can also be effective. You can sometimes find these things styled as "boyfriend" clothes, and you can tell your parents that it's the current trend/style. You can see our post on finding masculine clothing in the women's section here.

Another easy change is dropping the accessories. That means not wearing feminine necklaces/earrings/bracelets/hairbands, not painting your nails, etc. It's easy to say you want to keep things basic and sporty and that's why you're going without the accessories. Wearing a neutral watch or a smart watch is another accessory to consider instead of a thin-strapped "women's watch" if you wear watches at all that is.

You can see our post on purse alternatives here since bags are often the biggest practical change in the accessory category. Not carrying a purse when you hang out with your friends in the mall, go out on a trip, etc is obviously a high-impact change to make.

If possible, choose a haircut that's more typically masculine. Shorter haircuts, or styles that are longer on the top and shorter on the sides, can subtly change your appearance. If you use a female reference for your photo when you show your parents what you want they may not suspect anything. If a haircut isn’t possible, consider styles like pulling your hair back in a low bun or wearing hats. If you're Black, cornrows, box braids, and locs are styles that can be gender neutral depending on how you wear them. There's a few links on that here.

There are also things you can do to come across as subtly more masculine without buying anything at all.

Sometimes, adopting a more traditionally masculine posture and body language can make a difference. This doesn't usually have a big impact on passing, but it can help you feel better about yourself and boost your self-confidence and reduce dysphoria, and it's something that your family may not notice because it's easy to alter when you're with them. You can see a post about masculine body language here.

Similarly, you can try voice training and practice speaking in a slightly lower tone or in a more monotone style, which is often perceived as more masculine. Be careful not to strain your voice, though, and maybe avoid doing it while you're with your family. You can see a post about voice training here.

Engaging in exercises that build upper body strength can also help in achieving a more masculine physique. Focus on workouts that target the shoulders, back, and arms. You can often do body weight workouts at home in your room without needing a gym membership or specialized exercise equipment.

Find a support system, whether it's friends, online communities, or a counselor/therapist, who understand and support your gender identity. This can provide a safe space to express yourself and explore your identity. It can help to have other friends who are also masculine to feel like you're not isolated.

Observing and adopting some masculine behavioral cues, like how men typically occupy space or interact in social settings, can also be a subtle way to express masculinity, but you want to be careful that you're not imitating toxic masculinity / obnoxious guys. Similarly, engaging in hobbies or interests that are stereotypically masculine can be a subtle way to align with male peers, but always choose activities that genuinely interest you and you can probably find other guys out there who are also interested in the things you already care about to be friends.

The above suggestions are all things that you can do without your parents necessarily noticing. Binding is something that may not be subtle depending on your chest size, so while it is possible to sometimes bind in front of family without them noticing (saying it's a sports bra, for example) I would recommend keeping your binder in your backpack and only changing into it at school in the bathroom / at a friend's house / in a public bathroom when you're out with friends but not family, etc. unless you really are wearing only a single well-fitting sports bra. It's harder to be seen as masculine or male when you're pre-medical transition and not passing which means people often have to "overcompensate" by being more masculine than they would otherwise choose to be, but as always, I'd like to note that it can be possible to pass as male / be masculine while doing any of the things I recommended changing!

So while I might advise someone who wants to come off as more masculine "don't paint your nails" for example, that is a general rule and doesn't mean that you have to follow those guidelines if you're really passionate about painting your nails. You can always choose whatever gender expression you're comfortable with. There are plenty of guys who wear nail polish and otherwise come across as masculine or who are recognized as men. It's important to remember that masculinity is diverse and there's no one right way to be masculine.

also he can be such a little shit and knows exactly how to tease Phaya back I love him so goddamn much.

was he also on my characters I'd hit with my car list? maybe. and what about it.

I love him so much. he's such a badass but he's such a loser. famous singer who falls for a fan he was supposed to be investigating but is too emotionally constipated to admit it. badass son of a mafia family who can kick ass but only if he wants to. who does it like him honestly

(it also helps that he's played by just about the prettiest man alive)

3) Babe (Pit Babe)

did I start watching this show ironically? yes. is every mention of alphas and mpreg and that mama/papa thing hitting me like a brick and causing me 9000 psychic damage every single time? also yes. did I absolutely fall in love with the show and just about every character in it? you bet your fucking ass I did.

I think we all knew this was coming. I was literally gushing about him for half of the episodes. Guy my beloved. that show did not deserve you.

he's so himbo coded. himbo of all himbos. the himboest. not a brain cell in that head. he's my little dumbass I love him.

he deserves so much better than what he's being put through. someone please just love and support him for who he is. and also take him away from that family

7) Zhou Zishu (Word of Honor)

I'm trying so damn hard to keep this list to one character per show and it really took me a while to decide if I wanted to include him or Wen Kexing but ultimately it was Zhou Zishu for me

just.. god. him. assassin sect leader just trying to retire who keeps getting dragged into the biggest bullshit but doesn't really mind bc the bullshit comes with a mysterious pretty man. also that whole god damn nail thing. I have so many thoughts and feelings about that but this post would get too long if I got started on those-

he is quite fucking literally a reincarnated cat, of course I love him. I could list reasons for why I love him but it would be the exact same reasons just about every cat person on earth lists for why they love cats so. but here's a quick summary, just in case:

I really did not expect to love him this much? greenest of green flags (except for the plot line we shall not talk about). can and will kill people and is fine with it (seriously it is so refreshing to see a mafia character not having a huge moral dilemma about being in the mafia). both a badass mafia man and a gamer guy who doesn't know how to talk to people and is absolutely whipped for his gamer bf.

also scars make a person just about 110x more attractive I don't make the rules. even if the scars are weird and yellow, it's the thought that counts.

10) Tian (A Tale of Thousand Stars)

I just love how he sets out to do something for someone he didn't even know because he feels like this person deserves that much at least and how he ends up genuinely loving and caring for those kids and the village and this inner conflict he's having the entire time but hiding oh so well and how he actually calls out his parents on their rich people bs and-

Tenma Siblings Discussion - How Saki Feels About Tsukasa, A Seflessness that Makes You Feel Undeserving

I'm sorry but I was personally uncomfortable with what happened in Hinamatsuri, so this discussion helps justify Saki's behaviour. You may not like it if you thought Saki was entirely justified, sorry again!

In NSNF JP, I found the choice of wording interesting: first thinking about Tsukasa, then their mother, then delegating their father within the "and others".

From how she mentions him first, she seems to instinctively recognize Tsukasa as being the one most affected that she has to miss out. Moreso than their parents who are the ones logistically impacted, which probably shows their parents did a good job of not making her feel like a burden. This small detail and mention of Tsukasa in NSNF, as well as using the same flashback period as Dazzling Lights, implies Saki has always known how much Tsukasa focuses on her and how her wellbeing strongly affects him.

In NSNF, she's shown to be able to generally recall events, but not the strong emotions she experienced in them. So of course she can easily say 'Tsukasa has always cared for her', but it doesn't mean it is properly nailed in. She seemed to show a lack of awareness of this in Hinamatsuri, with how she never thought her forced smile would affect him to such an extent and how she only mentions Tsukasa's loneliness in passing. She also acts rather strangely in Hinamatsuri - she quickly snaps at her brother despite being very well aware of how he will always act in favour of her happiness. We see in unit story that Saki would never get angry at a loved one even if they hurt her (Honami), yet she doesn't think twice before getting angry at Tsukasa.

This is what leads me to HC that perhaps, her feelings towards the part she plays in Tsukasa's happiness are suppressed too. Because she can't just be "okay" to be happy on her own, she also would never be "okay" enough to not make her brother sad. It makes her happy to feel so valued, but with how she is, there's nothing she can do for him in return, not even just be happy and fine. Perhaps this is why she feels urged to have to smile even when she feels like crying from happiness, so she can give something back to her brother. Or even, maybe she cries because she can't do anything for him in return, yet he gives her so much and makes her feel so loved when she feels worthless. There's inevitably that feeling she doesn't deserve him, that perhaps she may even feel like he's going to leave her someday because she can't give anything to him.

You'd think that after being cared for so much, Saki would want to repay it twice as much now that she's able to. But she doesn't, and instead has him doing favours for her (buying her things). It's just easier and feels better to go about your day as if everything's always been normal that way instead of face all the pain from the past and try to make up for it. Plus, feelings in the past don't change that easily - just like how her self-hatred still stays strong enough for her to compose the powerful song in NSNF, her helplessness towards her brother won't just disappear. It instead manifests in turning a blind eye to it and simply continuing the way her past self has: just being carefree and happy and keeping up with trends, just like how she deals with her own self-hatred.

If Saki stops playing the role of the smiling sister, and instead goes all-out to do more for her brother, to return all the love he's shown her - it means having to face that helplessness and how she feels undeserving of Tsukasa's presence in her life. Not only will it make Saki feel less of a sister, it will further ruin their siblinghood when it was built upon such a one-sided foundation. She knows a normal brother isn't supposed to be this way (Smile of Dreamer side story), that everything Tsukasa has done till today truly makes Tsukasa the 'best brother in the world'. But the 'best' is all it will amount to, because thinking anymore beyond that will destroy their bond.

Before it was with the tattered Hina dolls, and now we see Tsukasa going the extra mile again to buy Saki the new Hina dolls. I don't want to think she's naive: it's obvious from first glance Tsukasa spent money to buy all those dolls for her, and she knows from all these years of growing up with him that her brother is always well-intentioned: he will always act for her happiness, Saki knows. But now she has more she has to return for him.

So Saki could have uncharacteristically lost her temper because Tsukasa's actions had exacerbated her suppressed feelings of helplessness towards him. She doesn't want to lose him if he keeps doing more than she can possibly return to him. Saki isn't the type to lose control over her emotions to the point of saying such hurtful things to someone she cares and loves - NSNF demonstrates this that she will keep things inside if she thinks it will hurt other people, even if it's painful. Such a habit doesn't easily die off. That's why this HC suggests that Tsukasa's actions may have triggered her somehow. In the first place, Tsukasa was throwing away something that Saki cherished as a way of appreciating his strong love for her - Tsukasa was belittling her own efforts to return everything he's done for her. If she already doesn't feel anything is enough, it's bound to be triggering.

Her suppressed helplessness and self-hatred does seem to lead her to act irrationally against her own will. She wants her loved ones to be happy, but she also has her own needs of companionship that she can't meet because of the way she was born. There's that contradiction that forces her to keep smiling and make jokes but also want to control others. She rags on herself for being born different, begs people not to leave her no matter what and expresses a desire for everyone to just disappear so she can finally have everything she wants: a world where she isn't left alone (/because no one is there) and everyone (/no one) is happy.

It may have been a budget issue, but the writers also made the choice not to have Tsukasa appear in NSNF Episode 7, despite how he's the one who gave Saki the belief that 'tomorrow will be fun', which is exactly what served as Saki's light in NSNF. And it's strong enough of a feeling that in Hinamatsuri's side story, Saki feels comforted seeing the light from his door at night, which reminds her she won't be alone in the hospital at this time of the year again, and that she can sleep soundly and safely think tomorrow will indeed be fun and not another day of being isolated. Yet he doesn't appear in NSNF to serve as one of the lights in her darkness.

Personally, it seems right to me that he doesn't appear in NSNF. It just feels out of place and ingenuine. I guess it's because I don't feel like any of Tsukasa's bonds feel real because of how he's lacking his own self so much. Saki's own feelings towards him, as I describe here, explain why it doesn't feel real: being too selfless and self-sacrificial makes it difficult for someone to love you back: instead, you become someone they feel they don't deserve. I honestly find it... sad, when it was something he worked so hard for as a child. It makes sense why Tsukasa believes he always makes Saki sad, when it can be possibly true with how he cares far too much about her that it troubles her.

How to lie in a job interview

I saw a post floating around about unspoken rules of a job interview, as a resource for people who struggle with them. I want to provide some hot tips to help you nail an interview that are a little more tongue-in-cheek about how underhanded they may be.

For context, i've never not gotten a job after an interview and I'm a very good sales person. Imo, getting the interview is the hardest part. But once you're there, its pretty easy. What you need to do to explain (or prove in the case of group interviews) the value you bring to a position. If you weren't qualified you wouldn't have the interview.

This requires an understanding of two elements.

Your experience

Expectations of the job role.

Once you understand how your experience can relate to the position you're looking for, then you'll nail the interview every time.

There are also two kinds of lying

Stretching the truth

Completely falsifying your experience.

Stretching the truth means either misrepresenting the nature of a precious position to make you sound better than you were or working with the fundamental experience you have and connecting it back to the position you want.

For example, i've worked largely in retail and sales roles. I have very little data entry experience. But, I'm looking for a role change. I could misrepresent the experience i gained from a previous position by saying that I have used digital management systems to keep track of stock over time, and aided in determining sales trends based on that. Which is true. I definitely look up stock levels a lot and I've done a stock take before. I've totally chatted with my manager, off hand, about ordering stock.

Or I might say that my role in sales required a level of interpersonal development which allows me to fit in well with an office culture. Which is does, but those skills were developed with customers and not other staff.

In either case, what I'm saying is technically true, but shapped to suit the role before me.

Outright lying is higher risk but offers greater reward. The benefit of lying now is that they already believe you. Afterall, you have the interview. Now, you need to show how your fake experience brings value to the new business. A basic understanding of the role you're lying about, and how to talk about it authentically is vital. It is usually best to lie about a role adjacent or structurally similar to one you've already worked.

To carry on from the previous example, let's say I've claimed to already work in an office. What value can I bring from an existing office position that sounds like it comes from someone whose worked in that role before? Well, I might say that I have experience developing stakeholder relationships and multitasking several different roles at a time. I could even make up examples.

When lying you need to stay confident. Whether you have worked the job or not doesn't matter. Your confidence needs to be the way this experience is relevant to your new role. And if you're asked to give an example, make up anything in the context of the job that lead to that outcome. At the end of the day, they don't know anything about your actual experience except what you've told them.

An element of all of this, and the underlying reason why it works, is that confidence and the ability to think on your feet will be infinitely more valuable to an employer than the actual experience you show. Even if the lie is found out, you were able to so confidentally understand the job criteria and relate to it on the fly and that makes you worth holding on to. Because it means you can be given a problem and can be expected to solve it with minimal assistance.

I asked the question about 'overall" deal and "first look". I looked up the difference and was just trying to get more info on the differences and why they would change it. Also, wondered if they really did change it or if one of the articles about CM's deal with WB was incorrect? The Variety article back in 2020 definitely said overall deal. Yeah, your ask is legit, but why did the ask exist? Because 2po threw decontextualized nonsense about the deals into the water and people are suddenly talking about the thing. Either way. Honestly? Yes, it's technically better for us. BOTH deals are considered high status to get, but each are conditional to a company's situation. When CM was new, going all in overall deal with WB both secured their licensing and early footing. But they're established now, they got what they needed squared. They might wanna think outside of WB. WB still wants to look at their shit first but Jensen isn't stuck. So yes, it's actually better for us, which is why watching the other noodles try to connect the dots is funny as shit.

First rule of thumb ignore literally anything 2po says about ratings. He has proven time and time again he has no idea what he's talking about and, like many things, googled it poorly but enough to just talk about it, cuz he loves hearing himself talk.

If we're gonna talk about trending down I'd love to discuss how a show that premiered at 0.37 only 2 years ago is running a season average of 0.08 new episodes at 8PM prime top tier Thursday space, even with heavy marketing helping it out. The man understands NOTHING of how to track things like audience retention rates. He's about to google what those are now to try to prove in a convenient soon upcoming post that he does, and so on. He doesn't know the value of timeslots, he doesn't understand the workings of the media weatherdome, he doesn't understand the difference between a rerun at 8P, a live show at 8P, and a live show at 9 P. He doesn't understand that different nights have different values in different seasons, and what the network expectations here are. He doesn't understand why the 9P slot increasing 50% demo is a good thing, not something you can spin as "decline."

He just doesn't get it. He fundamentally has zero grasp of the topic he tries to talk about, so that's the first thing to remember whenever he's trying to talk. He's literally just googling through it and talking out his ass to find an angle of argument, not actually educating himself on an industry to find the truth. Because that both takes too much work for him and is full of answers he deep down knows he doesn't want.

We're fine. Our numbers are fine. Our digitals are *crushing it*. I promise you Nexstar isn't just randomly double airing a show that isn't making them money. The idea of "making it back" that's not how it works dipshits that's the opposite. If a show isn't making money it's replaced with a show that makes money. They double book the show that makes money. I'm not sure why they're acting like this is fucking rocket science or something they even have room to speculate in, and I don't know why this fandom lets it work when you could ask a lot of these questions to yourself and realize like "WOW! THIS IS HORSE SHIT!"

Fandom needs to start learning how to think for itself, because the level of transparency and rapid rate failure coming out of certain people should be speaking for itself as the squeal louder and louder.

Stop even considering his arguments. You could give a toddler alphabet soup in a highchair and they'd probably be able to slam together ratings about as accurate and well understood as 2po does. Stop humoring his results. Stop entertaining him. You've seen him fail over and over and over. You've seen him be caught in lie after lie. You've seen him blow thousands of dollars failing out. You've seen him be resolved with simple google searches, seen him try to pretend a reddit thread is a secret source.

You've seen it. These are literally just angry trolls with attention seeking personality disorders distilled into their most compressed state and about to explode, and until then, there's just nonsense spraying out nonstop.

Naturally my forefront thought is thinking of my two prior FPs to which one was allergic so naturally peeling an orange is off the table and to be honest I'm struggling on figuring my out if there was a "I did this because it would make you happy" moment albeit I just think I wasn't around with them enough to have that (they did nice things but there was usually some expectation for those things in such situations). Ofc the previous one was half living with me at point so there were plenty of moments like bringing me tea or filing my nails right before their graduation or picking me up because they knew I would be happy for it. In contrast I think I wasn't great for reciprocating it and the times I tried had been more overbearing than anything but having undiagnosed BPD does not make the best at dealing with that. Having diagnosed doesn't do much better.

Ironically the best thought that comes to mind is my mum and I really enjoy clementines lately (of which I've always been avid of) and I'd say regularly we make sure to give a piece to each other because we know it would help to have a slice. For all the ways my relationship with her is tough, it is at least some proof that there is some form of love communication we share.

I'm also left pondering the cultural and neural specificity of it all. Ironically I'd say it's more effect of a cishet woman to regularly do these things due to the social training to expect other's needs. And also in some part it is hard to divorce non financial acts out of it when that comes up so much if two people are not regularly living together. Of course it's because I live with my family that I most commonly can find aspects of these acts with them. While I can't think of a few times I've seen forethought on something that would make me happy by my friends, it was often in the act of spontaneous gift giving. Friends who are more willing to spoil me and now often in more secure financial situation. Equally those more inclined to do caretaking acts are more heavily influenced by a collectivist upbringing compared to the western independent ones where it would be seen moreso as infantilizing.

I guess finally I reflect on those acts I wish I could receive myself one day; surprised with a birthday cake or flowers, prepared fruits, being picked up, or matching an outfit/cosplay to mine.

No, the starvation bloat won't be cute.

Neither will be the hair falling out, nails chipping and skin graying from the lack of nutrients.

If you actually had a significant amount of weight to lose at the start, congrats of the folds of loose skin. Totally so much better than having fat like a normal person.

Dying isn't pretty. And starving yourself is slowly dying.

People won't like you more for refusing to go out to eat with them. Maybe they'll pity you or feel bad about how much they're eating when they notice the difference. Being too dizzy to get out of bed won't help.

It's a terrible ugly way to go. You won't be pretty in a casket.

Eating is surviving. Food is joy. Fat is pretty. So much prettier than a corpse.

People who actually care about you will never want you to feel the pain of hunger. Surround yourself with people who want you to eat, because they want you to stay alive and well.

Accept that it's impossible to be weightless. Accept that it's impossible to look like celebrities, their trick is money. Accept that staying alive isn't about becoming perfect, it's about finding joy in small things. Accept that skinny doesn't equal healthy or pretty. Let it go. Forget the numbers. He's more than willing to help you study, he may be overconfident in what he knows though. mostly because he finds subjects in school easy and often gets homework done quickly because it doesn't interest him.

if you ever play any game with him it really do be him carrying through the game as he is level 80 + and then like helping you fight everything and helping you get places so you don't have to sprint everywhere or whatever. though no matter what it's always a lot of fun.
