Mixed feelings! Glad it has an anime now and that ppl are enjoying it, because its really good!

I myself think its annoying when ppl are like "im gatekeeping x media bc its important to me 😡" so thats not how I feel on the other end. It has impacted lots of ppl so if it can get a bigger reach and impact more, thats good. ^_^

tea! matcha lattes are so good. and green tea, hojicha, chrysanthemum tea, fruit teas, bruhh the list could go oN. for coffee, i only like mochas that are so sweet they'd make a religious coffee drinker puke. not to mention they either give me headaches or cause me to vibrate so intensely that i might as well be the flash trying to phase through solid objects.

something that's been weighing on my mind ever since learning about the situation with ezra / toonimal is seeing how these predators will take the active hostility that is frequently directed towards minors in online spaces to their advantage and use it to prey on vulnerable children. i think that we as adults in online fandom should probably come together and maybe rethink the language / manner we go about interacting with kids bc clearly the way things are rn is causing active harm.

like obviously, if you're an adult and aren't comfortable with minors interacting with you or your content, you should be allowed to set that boundary and should be vocal about it, ( especially if the content you create isn't safe for them to consume. ) but i don't think talking to them like they're a blight on all that is good and holy is the way to go about it. maybe just saying you're an 18 plus account will suffice, you don't have to tell them to fuck off.

Sergle I have cuticle questions!! I got my nails done last week and the technician trimmed them (after putting oil on them). But two of them tore back to the skin, and the skin on all of them has been peeling back more than usual since then. How do I tend to my cuticles without the peeling and splitting??

HM okay so I'm not a nail technician and I can't say For Sure why your cuticles are peeling and splitting. But not everyone's cuticles take well to being nipped, that's why ppl generally recommend pushing them back or using cuticle dissolvant on them before trying to cut them- I'd recommend trying that route! not every nail tech is going to be Gentle w your cuticles, but if you use cuticle oil / moisturizer at home and you gently push them back on a fairly regular basis, the shreddiness should heal and you can still keep them from growing down the nail plate.

#your skin might just not take well to that kind of thing. cutting them can make the cuticle grow faster #and it can cause the skin to get thicker (scar tissue yk) or to split like you're describing #if the nail salon you go to employs those little tiny drills #then you could ask her to use the little Cuticle Drillbit to clean up the crusty part of your cuticle #and file the dead skin instead of using the Nippers #definitely still use nippers for little hanging pieces of skin that could SNAG though. you still want to do that #but yeah- you can buy a cuticle oil for yourself or you can make one with jojoba oil and vitamin E #jojoba oil is the thing that'll really get you there and the vitamin E is just all-purposely good for skin #and since it's a lot more viscous it'll help w the consistency of the mixture bc jojoba is REALLY liquidy #use a regular ole lotion or hand cream after you wash your hands #for your At Home Cuticle Care you can pick up just about ANY cuticle dissolvant. I use the sally hansen one #do that every few weeks or when you see some cuticle growth that's bugging you #and buy a little cuticle pusher or some orangewood sticks #if you don't already have one of those things #that's more or less all the advice I got! #nailposting

I know it’s useless to speculate but I can’t stop wondering how the hell grrm is going to wrap all this up in only 2 books. it feels like there’s so much left to happen for so many characters, BEFORE we even reach the long night. like Arya’s story alone, she’ll prob be in Braavos a little longer, then go back to Westeros, reunite with Nymeria, the BWB, lady SH, her siblings, and THEN play a part in the LN. and after spending a solid 2 books just in the riverlands? like… how?? any ideas?

I'm right there with you anon, and I honestly think one of the reasons TWOW is taking so long is that George has realized that the story has once again gotten away from him. Even if TWOW was incredibly fast-paced, there's still a lot of story + characters to cover. Like you said, Arya alone has a lot of plot to get through before her story is set-up for the finale and it's the same with a lot of characters. I think George might be hesitant to split the books again after AFFC/ADWD, and he might be trying to find a way to make things work within one book. TWOW + ADOS are supposed to be about 3000~ pages altogether, but I doubt even that will be enough for how much story is left. If that is the issue, then I hope he overcomes it soon so we can get the rest of the story 😭
