Okay can somebody help me because I've been looking at the timeline made by a novel translator as reference for my own AU timeline but, I'm getting confused at some of the dates early on and I probably should just check the novels but...

Ecbatana fell after like, 10-11 days of siege, we aren't told what day of what month the siege begins, the timeline places the events of Team Arslan breaking through the blockade, Kharlan leading a thousand riders out of the city (which at least in the manga we are shown that Elam witnessed it) and Gieve meeting Farangis, all of those events, on the same exact day??? Month 11, Day 13????????? Which I don't think makes a whole lot of sense purely based on how things went down in the manga????

The manga doesn't provide us with concrete dates most of the time either, and the way the chapter is structured, by the time Team Arslan breaks through the scene immediately cuts into carnage in Ecbatana so... the capital must've fallen recently??

The guest room in his extravagant flat was already made up, if a bit minimalist and sterile — Rune couldn’t even remember the last time he had company that wasn’t his sister, which was exactly why he paced the kitchen while Eilidh took a moment to settle her things. It was rare that the two of them felt awkward around each other, but it was also rare that they spent much time together sober. Or vulnerable.

Rune let out a soft sigh, grabbed two bottles of water from the fridge, and padded back in bare feet to lean in the doorway, holding one out to her. What happened? was on the tip of his tongue, but instead he cleared his throat and said, “The, uh. If you want a shower, the hot tap is kind of loose.
