As an SA victim who has gone to the police with her case and whose assaulter will forever be asked during job interviews why he has a police record (And I know he didn't get certain jobs due to it): GO TO THE POLICE!
Yes it can be scary, but even when no big investigation is opened that person will have to live with a police record! (at least where I live which is in europe) Don't listen to people like Caiti who simply said that shit cause she knew her case was never assault. If you mentally feel good enough go to the police, then do! Take someone you trust with you to help you, ask for a talk with a police officer, ask how they can help in the situation, cause most of them will!
The police officers I talked to helped me find a therapist and always told me what was gonna happen next etc. Please, if you genuinly think you got assaulted then you should go to the police!

Apologies for the extremely long ask.
Omegaverse as a concept is so complicated and interesting as to me as a trans person.
On the one hand, the writer in me is intrigued by the world building implications and the opportunity to explore gender roles/dynamics. The concept of having a secondary dynamic alongside your actual gender is also fascinating to me and it's something I typically would have expected to be in something like sci-fi before I actually got into fanfiction.
I especially love deep diving into pack dynamics. Admittedly, that's where most of my interest and attention is focused on when reading and writing Omegaverse. I just find the concept so fascinating and any opportunity to write characters with heightened instincts, alien or otherwise, is just so much fun.
But on the other hand, I'm also very aware of how Omegaverse came about because some Supernatural fans wanted to play around with the idea of pack roles/relationships based on a messy study of wolf hierarchies. I'm also aware that intentional or not, a lot of early Omegaverse fics and tropes leaned really heavy into more homophobic and transphobic stereotypes, especially between M/M pairings.
I do feel like this has changed a bit over the years, though. From what I recall, a lot of early Omegaverse fics just really over relied on the stereotypical "which guy is really the girl?" trope that you saw a lot in the early to mid 2000s when discussions of queer (but mostly gay) relationships were brought up. I feel like the discussion has become a lot more nuanced since then and I know there are other trans fic writers like me who enjoy writing Omegaverse simply because it provides an opportunity to explore concepts of gender, sexuality and identity in a relatively fun way.
Not all Omegaverse fics/tropes are created equal, though. And every trans person has a different reaction/feeling towards this AU. I definitely feel like the odd one out, though, sometimes since I mostly come to Omegaverse for pack dynamics, less so for the smut (although I have written some in the past for fun or for friends). But I also believe there's validity in writing smut just for the purpose of enjoying smut.
Overall, I think this AU has a lot of potential, but I also see why it could make people very comfortable. I do wanna say that your fics haven't made uncomfortable and I do enjoy your takes on this trope. And I especially appreciate your willingness to listen to other trans people and their thoughts on Omegaverse. It goes a long way.
Side tangent: I will always be amused by how this whole trope came about btw, but also because the original author of that study followed it up by saying his first paper was absolute bullshit actually and shouldn't be viewed as a factual study of wolf pack hierarchy. Man messed up his original study, but he's a dedicated scientist and I love him for debunking his own work. But also the fact that he had an unintended impact on fandom is such fucking gold to me. I love this man so much.
Thank you for putting my thoughts to words, anon! There's definitely a long history there, and I agree with you that the genre itself has changed a lot in recent years, I think for the better.
I don't begrudge anyone for not liking or wanting to read a/b/o fics at all. I think it's intriguing but has the potential to be deeply uncomfortable or even like you said, transphobic for some people. I try to tag everything very well here that mentions it, etc.
I think what I like most about recent changes is that the genre has shifted to be less about "how can we get these two characters to breed?" and more to discussing pack dynamics, the implications of designations and gender roles, and building interesting biological rules and intricacies in an author-unique universe.

Confession: Sometimes, when I think about them in another life I feel like crying...
In another life, Shane and Ryan would be a couple.
In another life, Shane and Ryan would be strangers.
In another life, there would not be a Shane and a Ryan at all.
In this life, they are best friends.
And no matter what, they will always find each other.

Here we have Max gushing about Charles.
The full french interview is linked in of of her tweets. But Max has clearly decided that he needs to repay the favour and finally confirm to the world that Charles has always and will always be an aggressive driver. Baby boy doesn't have to keep reminding the world of that fact on his own anymore

One time Kazuichi picked flowers for Gundham, who just wordlessly took them then immediately fed them to his goats. Kaz was like “man, I guess he hates them/me” when in truth this was the highest possible compliment and Gundham couldn’t be happier
That's super sweet! 😭💞
I'm not really sure how feeding flowers that were given to you to goats are the highest form of compliments, but i'm glad gundham thinks that way even if kazuichi didn't xD

My Mc is monogamous, and idk who to be the love interest for them because they seem to have very interesting chemistry with all of the characters...so what do I do?
I made alternate universes where everything is almost the same (except my MC's Love interest). I called it The Vee-universe, but they are not the same. There are differences in eye color, hobbies, and name but it HAS TO HAD Vee in their first name (ex: Veera,...)
idk if I'm the only one who does it or not, but just wanna share!
Oh an excellent idea, anon!
I just write different scenarios with Ciaran and the characters I think they could potentially end up with. They're the same in every one, though. And I don't actually know if Ciaran is monogamous?? HMM now I'm thinking about it lol.
Anyway, I love the idea of a multiverse situation with slightly different MCs in each one, falling in love with different characters. Like it's the same person, but it's a different person.
It's tricky because they gave us so many characters to choose from and it's hard to stick to just one. I guess that's part of why they don't have routes? Well who knows. But it's a bit of an issue when you're considering who your MC would actually end up with.
I've thought about what it would take for my MC to end up with all of the characters. Some of them are far less likely to happen and would only succeed under certain circumstances. Where others I think would happen so easy there are multiple ways in which it could occur.
But I think your solution is perfect! Do the different versions of your MC ever meet or interact? Can you imagine meeting an alternate timeline version of yourself? Like it's you, but slightly off? And they're totally in love with someone different? I'd be like, what are you doing over in your timeline?

BEX. i wanted to tell you i think i had my first slasher dream. i was in this park at night and i looked and saw a ghostface costume watching me then they started running at me. i ran around these bleachers and through them, like weaving in and out because they couldn’t get through, which was hilarious because the ghostface got so annoyed. then i ran into a chest like my head came up to only the pecs (i’m 5’4) and then they looked down at me and threw me over they shoulder. and then they talked it was a deep german accent. but then my dream jumped to another place and the ghostface stared at me and i stared into their eyes and i turned out to be a woman then i woke up. (i have weird dreams but this counts for something!)
- ❤️‍🔥
Ooooh your first slasher dream! So exciting!
I wish my first slasher dream would have been that exciting! I had a dream Michael Myers was trying to fuck me, but thankfully it didn't get far, he just had very specific intent, you know?

Well for me the appeal of omegaverse and mpreg stuff is that being queer didn't remove the desire to have a family, and adoption's rigged in favor of white cishet people, so the idea of just being able to HAVE a family without red tape, minimum incomes, and passing some hidden litmus test about whether you're a 'suitable' gay couple or not has gotten more and more appealing the older and more domesticated I get. I just want a husband and kids. That's probably way less 'kinky' than the majority of A/B/O and mpreg fans are. But it's where I'm at.
Oh anon, I really feel you there.
I'm only twenty and I just started studying, so it's gonna be a while for me, but having kids is one of my absolute biggest wishes and I'd personally prefer adopting. I hadn't given much thought to the increased difficulty of adopting for queer couples, but yeah that's really true. I also sometimes imagine that there is a certain wonder to having children that really genetically combine you and your partner. And for some queer relationships that's just not possible. That does make me a bit sad to think about.
But a lot of mpreg fics are about that domestic part! And while most fics write kid-characters that absolutely break my suspense of disbelief (aka, that's not how real children act!!), the thought is very nice.

Shining girls book. Kirby is much younger- still in college. She is an intern and Dan isnt helping her really until the end. Hes a sports writer and says as long as she gets his stastics for matches she can do what she wants. He has no son. Kirby doesnt have things changing, its just her trying to work out who attacked her in 1989. Theres are lot more about the attacker ( i dont think theyve said his name in the TV show). All together i think the TV show is better, more mystery, more compelling and less cliche in places. I can see some changes are budget induced and casting induced but it works so well.
Interesting!
Still need to read the book myself. I'm inclined to say I'll probably agree with you about the show being better.
I really like the reality shifting thing happening to Kirby in the show. That's a major draw for me. Love a good compelling mystery!

If you ever wanna play more HD-2D games, just remember Triangle Strategy and Live A Live. The latter was a spiritual predecessor for Octopath and Chrono Trigger.
Thank you so much for the recommendations! Since Octopath was my first game in this style it'd be cool to learn more about other games in similar styles. I'll probably free up some time to check these out

hi. this is the worst thing ive ever said in my life and something ive been keeping to myself for 3 years. i used to believe that every time i masturbated something bad would happen (its the religious upbringing, my father was a preacher, luke 11:9 and all that). not even just to me but to the unvierse. it then morphed into me thinking that everytime i masutrbated something bad would happen to dream and george. quite literally i might be the reason why they didnt get to meet until 2022 ON GOD its because i was masturbating. the month of the face reveal i was celibate no masturbating no sex NOTHING and then they met up and face revealed. i was so happy that i.... well you know. then the "scandal" happened. not to be a fucking dumb cunt but it was because i masutbated and i want to formally apologize to the community. ive since left and brought my bad luck with me so i hope all is good within the fandom without me wacking it every day lmao :((( but quite literally everytime i did that dream would be trending canceled the next day. ive kept this in for too long and need to confess. anyways lots of love, i still mastubate but its only affecting my new fandoms so if kpop band 17 gets cancelled tomorrow just know i had a good time <3333333333333
you have genuinely rendered me speechless

I hope it’s alright to confess something else. I love reading shyan fanfics. However I’m not a writer myself. So I’m very glad that there are many talented authors who share their work with us.
Of course these stories don’t always include the things I would like to read about. Which is totally fine, but I fear people won’t ever write about these things out of respect for the real life situation and the involved people. Every fandom has its limits and taboo topics. And I’m not talking about explicit NSFW themes here. I’m rather thinking of “canon compliant” variations, that play with scenarios we (or at least I) wouldn’t want to see in real life. However I would be very interested to see these scenarios explored in fiction.
Sorry, I’m not brave enough to be more specific.
Do you have certain elements you would like to see more of when it comes to shyan fanfics? (If you’re willing to share!)
I love playing with angsty scenarios as well!
Currently, I have 2 elements in my mind that I would like to test out (if I ever get back to writing). I definitely hope it never happen in real life.
Unsolved Ending: Where Shane and Ryan just stop Unsolved altogether. I want to see their dynamic changes off-camera. It's like not seeing your best friend all summer and when you see each other again there's something off. I want to tear and twist their friendly banter and each other's understanding to something unfamiliar.
Torn Ending: They do get together, lovely dovely. But (from my experiences of being Asian) Ryan's parents set Ryan up with a woman and Shane had to be the best man at his own wedding. I'm playing around with them running away together or Ryan accepting their fate.
That's just a sneak peak of what's happening on the back of my brain

you don't know how much comfort your dragon king bkg drabble has given me ever since you posted it!! i keep reading it i love it sm 🥹
as it turns out, the man bakugou is — a bit harder to handle.
he sleeps like a heathen; you once thought the dragon bakugou to be a bit lazy, with how often he tended to curl up in the fields of grass, warm under the sun, but now — it would seem his little human form needs significantly less rest.
almost up all hours of the day, and when he does finally lay down, he's everywhere. a mess of limbs: one thrown carelessly out to the side and the other bent at an angle you can't believe doesn't hurt his joints. his head stays tucked into you somehow, either buried in your neck or pressed against your ribs — or you'll wake to find him nose-to-nose with you. he still snores like a dragon, however.
you're also beginning to wonder if there is a bottom to the pit of his stomach. he ate much before, whole fields of things, but you expected that appetite to dwindle, at least a little, now that his stomach has decreased considerably in size. and in number ? you're not even sure how many stomachs a dragon has; that's not something that was mentioned in the fairytales.
it burns through him quickly, gives him more energy than he needs, and it doesn't ever seem to affect his weight much. already, he's huge and thick with muscle and eating as much as he does never dulls the severity of his cut abdomen. not that you're looking all that much.
— not that you have a choice not to, as he seems to have little-to-no understanding of —
the door to the bathhouse kicks open, with enough force that you already know who it is without ever turning to look. you try not to shriek when you see him, because he seems to like that in some evil, impish way.
you've been alone to wash so far, thankfully, as the inn you'd managed to find was small and far enough out from the nearest kingdom that the occupancy was low — enough for you and your little brute.
the man bakugou comes to stand in front of the bath, blinking and huffing against the steam. finding clothes for him was — nearly impossible, and so the trousers you'd found hanging on someone's line outside fit above his ankles, a bit too tight around his waist. instead of a shirt, you've wrapped him in a scratchy linen, swaddled him up like a baby to cover the small smattering of scales that decorate his body, almost like freckles from the sun, though they gleam just as bright and red as they ever have. no matter his form.
a horn has started to sprout, on the right side of his forehead, and you've done your best to cover that, too.
you have no idea how long this man thing will last. if it's permanent or if he even has control over it. the last thing you need is for him to switch back, somehow, while you're in the middle of feeding him, absolutely demolishing whatever tavern you're in and calling all of king todoroki's guards to attention.
bakugou grunts, almost sleepy, and tosses a fat, weighty sack onto the edge of the bath. it jingles a certain jingle that makes your heart stop.
"oh, allfather—" you move for the edge, awkwardly keeping one arm against your chest despite the fact that he's seen it all by now. when you peek inside and confirm your fears, you lob it back to him furiously, as if it were a steaming potato. "where do you keep getting this stuff?"
things have started to turn up, miraculously. shiny things — like coins and rings and gems. things he could not have simply found rolling around in the dirt.
"go put it back!" you hiss at him, and the tone of your voice makes his frown deepen. you never realized how pouty he was, when he was still a dragon.
you think he understands you, and you're pretty certain he just chooses not to listen; instead of doing what you've told him in the slightest, he simply dumps the coin-purse to the floor, and then lets his linen and stolen trousers cover it as he unceremoniously undresses.
the biggest issue that you would say the man bakugou poses is — his complete lack of understanding of personal space.
"bakugou!" your voice wavers, shocked again by his nakedness. as if you haven't seen it all by now. "no, you — get out!"
but he does the exact opposite, which is hop into the steaming water, ignoring the arm you hold out to keep him away as he saddles up beside you. skin against scales, pressing a nose into your hair to huff out his annoyance, to make it something you can feel.
if anyone were to walk in right now, they would — probably think the lie you'd told the innkeeper was true. that you are a simple traveler and this is your mute, over-sized husband.
regardless, you think this behavior isn't polite. especially in a public bathhouse.
"bakugou," you try again, turning your face away as you speak to the wood-paneled wall. "i'm taking a bath, you have to wait your turn."
all you receive in response is another huff against your ear and a low rumble of disagreement from his chest.
he has yet to speak back, and has only used inhuman sounds as his points of conversation. the only word you've ever heard him utter is oi, which he does when he really thinks he needs your attention. you're starting to wonder if he's named you that in his head. oi.
curiously, you turn back to him and the movement has him pulling his face from your hair, just enough that he can look down at you, too. watch you, with the red-rippled sea in his eyes.
they're — amazing, you will admit. just as bright and detailed as they always have been. fit for a fairytale told by the fire, veiled by the soft-ash of his lashes. he watches you through them, half-lidded, and you wonder if it's something other than fatigue that has them so heavy.
"do you know what i'm saying?" you ask quietly, voice lacking the firm heat you want it to. instead it's heavy, too, weighted by something soft and unfamiliar and frightening. "can you even understand me?"
bakugou doesn't respond, not with a huff or a rumble or ever a purr, like the one he let out on the night he lay over you by the lake. you've only heard it sparingly since then, oftentimes in his sleep when his face is pressed into you.
you try not to frown at his silence, try not to let it disappoint you because it shouldn't; he's a dragon afterall, and you're not sure what it matters. the little horn protruding from his forehead catches your eye and you reach up to touch it gently, watching him blink away the water that drips from your wrist — and then he's turning into you again, too close.
beneath the water, you feel his hands skate up your bare thighs, wrap around your waist until your chest is pulled flush against his. you feel his huff, again, against the damp skin of your neck but it's slower, lighter. not laced with his frustration. some unknown thing you feel guilty for liking.
you drop your hand to his hair, rushing full force into all the damned things you've thought about doing but have been too afraid to. he's soft between your fingers, and you trace your nails lightly against his scalp until he groans quietly; a new noise, one you don't know how to translate.
your fingers stop when they brush upon little spines that have grown at the base of his skull, that have started to trail down the center of his back.
suddenly, tangled up in the bath with him, you wonder how much time you have left.
bakugou huffs again into your skin, a little fiercer this time, and it's because of his light jostling that you realize how rigid you've gone. you try to relax so that he will, too, though you must not do a convincing job, because a sharp nip comes to your earlobe.
"ow!" you squeal, but he doesn't let you go far, not even as you try to jerk away from him. in fact, the harder you try the more his teeth show: into your cheek and the point of your jaw and then dangerously low on your neck.
it's not until you finally freeze that he stops, huffing again, with a warmth that burns more than the steaming water.
and then, very quietly, he grumbles, "shitty wife," into your collarbone, just before biting you again.
