What do the genshin men (ajax, thoma and ayato and alhaitham) feel towards the reader? Do they all think they are in love?? Somehow I cant picture ayato in love, it feels more like how much he likes the power he holds over both thoma and reader. Ajax feels like a puppy overflowing with love and lust, obsession and passion...and somehow alhaitham seems like the most normal one hahahaa what do you think??

so for the most part, i agree with you! i do think ayato is capable of being in love but it definitely isn’t healthy or ‘real’ love and it absolutely comes from a place of power, control, and ownership. i was talking to my best friend about this not too long ago and was saying that irl i don’t think ayato and i would get along because to me, he would want a precious, obedient, submissive little thing that’s going to almost always be good for him and dote on him, that absolutely lives to please him and do exactly as he says because they find their primary worth and validation in being good for him—he is such a busy man with so much resting on his shoulders that the last thing he wants to come home to is a serious brat (me). i, on the other hand, would act out because he’s been gone *all day* and i want attention, and i just don’t think he would want to deal with that at all. i think he can handle a very slight brattiness, just to keep things fun and interesting, but anything more serious than that and he’s throwing u out.

(and then with thoma, i see him as a service dom/switch. he aims to please, and he enjoys pleasing his baby (and ayato). he likes to be told what to do and how to do it, and he finds a lot of validation in serving others/caring for others).

alhaitham i could write you an entire paper on to be honest!!!! he’s really interesting. i think that it’s difficult to genuinely catch his attention but when he does fall in love with you, you have him for life. i agree that his love would be the most healthy/normal out of the four. i think he enjoys taking care of (and being smarter than and teaching) you to some extent; he likes that power and control, and i hc him to genuinely enjoy teaching others as well, one of those types that just loves to whip out their impressive breadth of knowledge—a vast collection of carefully curated facts and pieces of information—and show off. so he would enjoy teaching you new things and/or about topics you are not knowledgeable on, relishing in the way your eyes sparkle at how intelligent he is, secretly basking in the praise and the adoration—the only hints he likes it at all being the slight quirking up at the corners of his lips and the way his gaze softens and shimmers, the way his voice is suddenly dusted with icing sugar; tender, sweet—and he would enjoy learning new things from you, too!

with that being said, he is not here to lead you (like ayato would), he is here to guide you, to journey with you, and be just a teensy bit smarter, stronger, wiser, and better than you (leading requires way too much responsibility and, as we all know, the man is not about that. he doesn’t ever want to be bogged down with obligations and duties in that sense! they get in the way of his own endless pursuits of knowledge, and hinder his spontaneity). he isn’t looking for a pet to own, he’s looking for a genuine partner. this is why i think he’d be such a great daddy dom!!! he genuinely wants the best for you and genuinely wants you to keep improving yourself, while also being able to enjoy being the superior, the one in charge, the one calling the shots.

after reading some of ur responses to anons, i reread bmb with a better picture in my head of tomura and dabi's relationship, past, how they really are *that* close. Now I kinda look at bmb differently (in a good way). is tomura ever jealous of reader getting dabi’s attention? and dabi of reader bc she gets all tomuras time? I think weve all been in positions where our friends are dating and we miss spending time them but its not to the extreme level of tomura and dabis obsessive/toxic mentality

yes, it’s very subtle, and i wrote it that way on purpose. it’s quite iykyk, read between the lines, subtext type stuff, because dabi himself doesn’t even know what he’s feeling—he can barely make sense of his new, unfamiliar feelings for reader, and buried way beneath those are his feelings for tomura, which are subtle, yes, and nothing in comparison to his feelings for reader, but are there and exist nonetheless.

these feelings of jealousy are so light and so deeply submerged in his subconscious that he doesn’t even know they’re there festering in his soul; that he can’t even separate them from feelings of jealousy related to reader. it’s all so entwined that it blurs and blends into the same thing. he’s jealous of tomura for having reader, he’s jealous of reader for taking tomura’s attention away from him, he’s jealous of the connection and relationship they have, etc.

dabi’s complicated feelings for tomura, as well as how close they truly are and just how much dabi actually cares about him, become a little more obvious in parts four and five, when dabi becomes a little more protective over tomura, a little more careful and compassionate towards him. he speaks to him more gently, his actions are softer, and, as part five demonstrates, he truly does know how to handle tomura better than anyone else in the world.

ah! okay, so your questions of if tomu gets jealous of dabi + reader and if dabi gets jealous of tomu + reader are both answered and explored in depth in my sequel series (aka the christmas series) but to answer quickly, it’s a yes to both! my sequel christmas series explores all of the nuances in this new relationship + trio dynamic, and it demonstrates how each of the three of them are adjusting and dealing with this very new, very big change; the struggles they’re individually going through and the issues they’re facing.

with that being said, here is the tiniest lil snippet from part three of my bmb christmas series and sequel to give u a taste of what’s to come <3 this is just my first draft so it may change slightly in the final version but the idea will obv stay the same <3

None of it seems to matter; none of it seems to register at all, every ounce of your glittering attention focused solely on your Daddy, who beams down at you with warm, soft, loving eyes. 

Dabi’s only gotten that look once or twice before, but you seem to get it all the time. 

He knows it’s unfair to compare himself to you, to compare his relationship with Tomura to yours, but he just can’t seem to help it. He measures them up against each other in every way, tallying up the positives and docking the negatives and seeing who’s in the lead, even though they’re playing completely different sports.

aww, thank u for being so kind 🥺 also have no secrets at all pls fdjds i'd gladly share em w all of u <333 the exact steps are provided in this sharpening tutorial that i made in the past. the only thing that's changed is that i don't use vs to sharpen anymore (for this reason). as for cleanliness, i think what matters most are coloring and your export settings! i also recommend using knlm and topaz (both of which i can't use rn bc of my laptop though, but knlm has worked for me in the past!) as they reduce noise very well. :D

Things were tentative between you and Taehoon. You've only been dating for a couple months, and you're still getting to know this side of him. Well. You say this side but it's still the same old Taehoon that you've come to grow very fond of.

The one that tells everyone to piss off but comes running, no, sprinting when one of his friends need his help. Who threatens to beat everyone up, but will come to your defence with no hesitation. This prickly, insufferable little shit.

Sometimes you worry about your own sanity for liking someone like Taehoon, but then he gives you a look in the middle of the company meetings and your feel your entire body flush and your heart palpitate. And you think about just being alone with him, the way that he looks at you like he wants to devour you, the way his hand runs all over your body and god bless his pale skin because it's so obvious how crazy you're driving him despite how cool he plays it- "Huh? You know already this guy has no respect for other people's personal space, but since you've gotten together, a complete and utter lack of personal space has become the norm. At least when no one else is around.

Ranting anon is v happy to have words in their brain again, so random ASL lesson! Like any other language, it has it's own grammar structure (there are multiple though! So if u see another version, it isn't wrong! Just different) and in my class we learned Time - Noun/subject - Verb - Object (if there is one). I haven't actually been in class for a hot minute but I think that's right! Also your brows should shift depending on if you're asking a yes/no question or a who, what, where, when, etc. For a yes or no question your eyebrows go up, for a WH question they go down. When writing out a sentence in ASL it's supposed to be all caps and in the ASL grammar format as well! That's all for rn :3 still super excited for ur stickers (I want them so badly, TAKE MY MONEY!!!!)

as for the animal question...... i am a huge fan of chickens :) i used to have 3 girls myself and you really dont realize what wonderful creatures chickens are until youve raised a few. all 3 of my girls had such different vibrant personalities and were all so soft and huggable :''''') sooooo fluffy. and they make silly noises and funny movements. i used to love just setting a corn cob or watermelon in front of them and watching them pick it clean. i love chickens

I was rereading tag youre it and when tomura asks why dabi is acting so paranoid and if he was on something and Dabi gets defensive and says he doesn’t do that anymore and it made me think, obviously Dabi had experience with addicts (like his mom) and it is shown when he has to explain rock bottom and what gets it really through an addicts mind to reader. But did Dabi have a rock bottom moment with whatever he was taking at that time or was he just speaking from experience with his mom? If he did what was his rock bottom moment?

okay, so! when it comes to tag dabi’s drug use, it was almost exclusively cocaine (maybe some party drugs like ecstasy or psychedelics on occasion but his drug of choice when having a good time was cocaine) and he was an entirely casual user, meaning he was not dependent on the drug in any sense of the word (so not mentally or physically) and his use was extremely sporadic + entirely for fun. as such, he technically wasn’t ever an addict, so he never had any need to hit rock bottom because he was able to halt his use entirely on his own and with extreme ease. so to answer your question, he is speaking from both his experiences with his mother and his experiences with addicts in general due to the nature of his job. he knows how they think, how they behave, how addiction is a sickness that fundamentally decays their brains, and what has to happen for the majority of them to even consider getting better.

i’d say that most of his knowledge comes from his time in the underground as a dealer, but his mom definitely plays a part and had a huge impact, too. the reason why he brings up his mother and her addiction is to show reader that he does get it; in fact, he might even get it more than she does, because his mother hit rock bottom in such a gruesome and horrific and dangerous way, in a way that was much worse than what he thought/asusmed keigo’s rock bottom would be (losing his lil sister) because she hurt her children in more ways than one—or, at least, that’s the narrative dabi’s pushing.

his mom he hasn’t seen since he left home at 13, but he knows she was slated to be in the psych ward for a long, long time. his mother’s situation is a little different than keigo’s, though; rei’s drug use heavily exacerbates her pre-existing mental illness, and rei turned to drugs initially to escape. rei definitely hits some sort of rock bottom, obv, and rock bottom looks different for everyone, but the biggest similarity there (and what dabi was trying to get at) is that he knows what it feels like to love an addict, and he knows how unbelievably painful and devastating it can be.

fun fact! the full sentence that tomura cuts off is actually “i haven’t been high since i started seeing [reader].” reader has no idea that dabi used to do drugs recreationally, and would probably have some choice words for him about his hypocrisy if she did know, irregardless of the fact that he wasn’t a full-blown addict (which, to him, is a crucial distinction). it almost begs the question of whether dabi gave up recreational use because he genuinely did not want her to have another addict in her life, or if he gave it up purely to give himself the metaphorical moral high ground,,, or some odd mixture of both,,,,,

Whenever you're dysphoric, Cove is always willing to comfort you or help in any shape, way, or form. Whether you just want to cuddle, prefer words of affirmation, or just want a distraction, he’ll do anything and everything for you

If you just want comfort, he’ll lend you one of his t-shirts (if you want it) and cuddle with you, stroking your hair and placing soft kisses on your forehead.

Cove held you close as you laid on top of him. His right arm was wrapped around you, tracing soft circles into your back, while his other was brushing his hand through your hair. He looked at you, his heart breaking at the sad look in your eyes, but he knew this was all he could do. He placed a kiss to the top of your head, hoping the comfort he offered could help, even if just a little.

If you prefer words of affirmation, he’ll tell you how handsome you are, and how much he values you as his BOYfriend, and how he’ll never see you as any less of a boy.

“Are you feeling okay?” Cove asked, concern filling his voice. You shook your head, giving a noncommittal shrug.  “Just dysphoric, I guess?” “What can I do to help?” “Can you just, I don’t know, give me encouragement?” You answered softly. You almost hoped Cove wouldn’t hear it, but he did. “Well, I can try.” Cove smiled, putting his arm around you. “Well, I’m glad you’re my boyfriend and you’re anything I could ever ask for in a boyfriend. You’re handsome, and you’re not any less of a boy just because you weren’t assigned boy at birth. I can tell you that, and your family can tell you that. We all see you as the boy that you are.”

If you want distractions, he’ll do anything you’d like. If it’s reading together, playing a video game, watching a movie, or just going for a drive, he’ll do it no questions asked!

All in all, Cove tries to help as much as he can, and will do anything for you to help alleviate your dysphoria. Even if at the end of the day, he can’t lessen your dysphoria, he just wants you to know that he’s a pillar for you, and that you can rely on him.

okay let me do my new year post now bc i will most definitely be dragged out to party and then promptly pass out 😭

2022 has been a rough year for me, emotionally and physically. i went through a lot this year, academically, personally, mentally—by far one of the worst years i’ve ever pocketed. without getting into details, i hit my lowest point. and not to sound like that, but through kpop i found hope again. like a temporary crutch of sorts.

i joined kpopblr four months ago on september 19th! this blog hit its 4 month mark on the 19th this month, and while i didn’t openly celebrate that milestone on here, i took the time to sit back and really look on how my life has changed since then.

i’ve made so many good memories. and with those memories, i’ve met so many good people here. people that deserve more than the world for being friendly faces (despite not seeing y’all lmao) during my up and coming days. so i gotta shout y’all out because i wouldn’t be as comfortable in this space without u all.
