22. What’s the easiest way to flirt with you?

The wolf's fur bristled at that- though not in irritation, making him look even bigger than he already was. That same thick fur should have been able to hide his blush, but thanks to toon law, you could see the pink tinge clear as day, "Flirt? Ah-ha- why do you wanna know, ma'am?"

When you explained why, the 'big and bad' wolf looked more bashful. Not on the same level as his ex-girlfriend, you noted. But noticeable nonetheless, "Huh. Didn't think anybody would say all that about me from a first meeting... You haven't been stalking me, have 'ya?"

He laughed a little at his own joke, waving a dismissive hand, "Nah, nah. I'm just kidding. Well..." Man, where was he supposed to start? How do you tell a stranger how you liked to be flirted with? Wait, was this you trying to make a move on him? No, he should get that thought out of his head. Even if you did look sweet, "I guess the easiest way to get to me is just... Being cute in general. I've got a soft spot for adorable little guys-"

As if to confirm, a tiny, cute, fluffy white head poked out of Moony's jacket pocket. The actual rabbit sniffed at the air before looking straight at you, and squeaking. The large toons' ears twitched before he looked down, and then he softly laughed before gently petting the rabbit's head with a single clawed digit. His tail started to wag when the rabbit purred and leaned into his paw, "See? I can't even leave my baby back home. When I'm not working, at least. I'm weak for soft cuties... Kinda like you."

He wasn't sure if you were trying to spark something between you two. But even if you weren't, a little compliment never hurt anybody. As long as you weren't scared by it, of course.

It was a cold October morning. The heat hadn't been turned on. It never was. Down in Texas, it never got cold enough to use it. The Sawyers couldn't afford heat, anyway. If you want warmth, either find some blankets, find warmth somewhere else, or maybe your boyfriend would be nice enough to cuddle up with you. Tex was always a nice man. However, he was also the only cook in the family besides Tinker. Tinker could cook just fine, but he wasn't about to leave him cooking all alone. You laid in the bed; the blankets tucked firmly around you. No warmth could escape, and yet, you were still cold. Tex had used most of the blankets in the house. It would be unfortunate if you were coming down with something. There wasn't a doctor nearby, and well, they didn't want their secrets getting out. They trusted you completely. They just didn't want to run the risk of an outsider knowing the family's secrets. Houses in the south weren't meant to keep the heat in. It got way too hot sometimes. You continued to lie in bed. You snuggled deeper, and the blankets almost entirely covered your head.

Tex came upstairs with a bowl in his hands and a glass in the other. He set them down on the bedside table and laid down next to you.

"You alright?" He asked as he put a hand on what he thought might be your shoulder. It was your arm, but it didn't matter. He wanted to be there for you in your time of need. He had taken care of his family by at least making their food for them. They could handle the rest of the things. Although, his family didn't mind spicy things. He knew not to put anything spicy in your food. He didn't want to worsen whatever was happening to you. He rubbed your arm gently.

You poked your head up. You opened your eyes up slightly. You had been asleep, you didn't know for how long. You couldn't remember, and it didn't matter. You wanted to curl back up into your bundle.

"Y/N? Honey?"

"What?" You mumbled.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah."

"I brought you some food."

You looked up at him.

"It should still be warm." He said, sitting up.

You said nothing, but you wished he had laid back down again. Tex naturally ran hot. He felt amazing despite not being under the blankets with you.

"Come on. You need to eat something." He said as he gently rubbed your arm.

You moved and sat up. The blankets were still on you, and you couldn't help but shiver as your arms weren't covered.

"Do you want me to feed you, or do you want to do it yourself?" He asked as he held the bowl.

"I- I can do it." You said as you shivered again.

He handed you the bowl, and you took it. You waited a moment, enjoying what little warmth it had on your hands. Then, you began to eat the non-spicy chili that Tex had made for you. Of course, there were more servings if you wanted it, but that was strictly for you. The rest of the family wouldn't bother touching the non-spicy version.

I'm working on CH18 this weekend and just trying to get it done to be done with it even if I don't love it, I just need to get it done and move on, so I'm *trying* really hard to get it done asap

You know the rules, and so do I what brushes do you use

nice rickroll anon. for that i will give you these three brush settings i use the most now

i still use Sai 1 and this should all be base textures/brushes. 99% sure.

1st i use for lineart now, the smaller the resolution the crunchier it looks, i like that a lot. 2nd is pencil type, it was the first sai pen but with a noise tex. i use it for coloring flats and then when i paint/shade i lower the opacity to around 30%. 3rd is another brush i use mostly for backgrounds, i make it really huge and just throw on some texture or when i need to blend something out when the pen brush doesnt blend enough

#answered #if you asked this like a year ago i would show 2 different brushes #a crayon one thats noise + fuzzystatic at 70 density and a broken chalk one thats rough round + no tex at 24 density 25 perc min size #i use the second one for drawing leaves sometime and also for some touchups when drawing fur but i used that brush religiously #until i got my current line brush
