Details I noticed on my second and third rewatches of Werewolf By Night
Jack reached out to touch the bloodstone as soon as he got to the funeral. If he hadn't been interrupted, he would've blown his cover immediately and been killed, let alone doing anything to save Ted. He's such an idiot (affectionate)
When he's talking with that Scottish hunter in the beginning, he says, “I can almost smell the blood on your hands.” Foreshadowing much?
What happened to Elsa’s mom? They imply it's something 'terrible'/dishonorable but they never say
When they're all being introduced in the circle and listing how many kills they have, when it comes to Jack the line is “And over 100 deaths. Give it take.” I thought it was interesting how they suddenly used deaths vs kills (especially because Jack probably told them that. Let the angst begin lol)
It says "This end up on coffin" lol
Jack chews on his lip during Ulysses’ speech about the strongest hunters gathering and the crusade against monsters. It's so very subtle but you can see he's nervous
Jack looks scared and concerned when they get told the stone would be put on the monster. It's a split second but his eyes get wide and he goes :o
The set is actually amazing, especially the garden maze
In the tomb Jack gets the most brilliant smile when he says he's "not that kind of hunter" and Elsa says she’s not either. He probably thought she was secretly some kind of monster too for a second because his face literally looks like when a dog sees another dog or when a queer person sees another queer person in public. Like "Hello!! You're like me?? Like me??? Hello! Hi!!"
When talking with Elsa about families, Jack says, “My family was very different.” Why does he say "was???" What happened to his family??? (Another opportunity for angst lol)
In that same conversation, Jack also says, “We think that by doing something specific we cannot be like them.” Why does he want to be different than his family? What specific thing did he do? I need more backstory!!
All the bugs and spiders crawling out of Aunt Frances' tomb was a very nice touch lol
Laura Donnelly's (Elsa’s) acting. She's trembling. She genuinely looks terrified but like she’s making herself be brave anyway. The single tear that rolls down her cheek right before he turns and how she just nods at his apology because she can't trust herself to speak? The way she's made herself as small as possible and is partly covering her head in fear but can't look away as they shoot him? The way her breath keeps hitching because she has no idea if she's going to die or not as she reaches out to touch his face at the end? It's so much more genuine and realistic than other MCU acting I feel. Like ofc the other actors in other projects are talented but I don't feel like they get scared often or get scared in a realistic way. Like if I was trapped in a cage with an angry werewolf, I also would be curled up on the floor crying. 10000/10
Before he turns, Jack says he has “systems” in place to stop himself from turning or at least calm it down. Besides locking himself inside, what are his systems?? I want to know!!!
When Elsa asks if remembering people's scents have ever worked before, Jack immediately shakes his head. Almost as an afterthought, he says “Once.” Who was it??? Why is he still so sad if it worked?? Did they die immediately anyway for some other reason??? Did he not recognize their scent until it was too late??? I NEED BACKSTORY! (and more angst)
When Jack asks to be killed as he is "or there will be no mercy," the old lady, who's name I can't remember, says, “Our system is built on mercy for you.” She genuinely seems to believe it for a second before bursting out laughing and going back to being evil. The story is told from the perspective of those against the hunters, but I want to know what the thought process/justification of the hunters is! Ofc they're doing it to protect innocent people from dying (like they mention) and there is certainly an element of personal gain/ego in it but how do they believe they're having mercy on the monsters themselves? What's the ideology behind it all?
In werewolf form, Jack's eyes glow in the dark but when you get up close, they look like human eyes
The blood on the camera. Such a cool touch
A list of things Ted had at their camp: Two suitcases (one with clothes in it), a sunflower mug, a deck of cards, a cowbell (why is there a cowbell??? lol), a gramophone, a guitar, just the phone part of a phone booth (again, what???), a blanket, and a fire extinguisher
Jack uses both hands to hold the sunflower mug because he's so shaky and tired, he would drop it otherwise
The groans Jack makes as he stands up lol That is also how I sound when I stand up
Jack and Ted's banter on the log. It doesn't matter if you don't know what they're saying, you can instantly tell they're best friends. The way they're laughing and pushing each other and how quickly it switches into annoyance. ...Which only lasts a couple seconds before they're chummy again. True friend conversation
Ted's eyes are really cute in color. His pupils are little star/flower shapes

*No Spoilers Ahead* This Marvel Studios Special Presentation short movie really was impressive. It gives off that 1920's black and white monster movie vibe. Sprinkle in a little of that modern Disney and Marvel touch and you got "Werewolf by Night". I think this was a great move for the Marvel Studios films. This shows that's there's more to the Marvel Universe with showing the mystic arts through Wanda (aka Scarlett Witch) and Doctor Strange, including Blade coming soon it's great that they show Werewolf by Night and include a special friend of his. Honest Rating: 8.5/10 #WerewolfByNight #Marvel #MarvelStudios #Disney #DisneyPlus #ManThing #Ted #monstermovie #monsters #HappyHalloween #Halloween #werewolf https://www.instagram.com/p/CjgvWxlPHVl/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Feeling Good (Lady Dimitrescu x fem maid reader)
The title is based off of that one Micheal Bublé song because it reminds me of her so much.
Tumblr media
WARNINGS: Fluff
Happy reading, loves :)
You were a simple maiden in house Dimitrescu. All you ever wanted was for your mistress and her daughters to be happy, and content. When you were done with your chores, you would go to the library and pick out a book to read, usually a romance.
Reading these books did something to you. Like something awakening in your heart. Your mistress never allowed any manthings in her castle, even in writing, so all romance books consisted of two women.
You rested in the chair, smiling at the tooth rotting sweetness of the book. This was your favorite book. They way the main character spends time with her lover, and holds her hand. How cute! You wish that was you..
A loud buzzing and a sudden "HI (Y/N)" Made you fall out of your chair. "HOLY SHIT" You screamed as you hit the floor. You looked up to be meet with the deviously smiling face of Bela Dimitrescu, one of your mistresses daughters.
"Watcha readin?" She asked taking the book you almost thew across the room and skimming through it. "UHm I wouldn't read that if I were you. Some scenes in that book are-" she stared widly at a page in the book, closing it slowly and setting it down. "Suggestive-" you finish.
"What are you doing here, Ms. Bela?" You ask, putting the book in your bag. She smiled. "Could you read to me?" She asked. You nodded, smiling. "Why don't you go pick out a book you like, and I'll grab a chair for you. Bela nodded and ran over to the shelves. You picked up a chair and dragged it over across from yours.
She ran over to the chair and sat down. "I like this one!" She said. Bela handed the book to you. "Teeth and Iron" you say, reading off the title. A horror book. You didn't mind horror books, since you had to witness some horrors every once in a while in your day to day life in the castle.
"Chapter 1. Dark mist was the only thing keeping Ted away from the snarling monster..." You read. Your mistress was walking down the hall, passing the library. She heard you reading and peered in, seeing her beloved daughter listening.
You didn't notice her, but Bela did. "The slobbering creature reached out and-" you were cut off by Bela swarming to her mother and hugging her. You were surprised at seeing your lady here. You quickly straightened your dress and sat properly in your chair.
"What's going on here?" Alcina asks with a smile. "(Y/n) was just reading to me!" Bela responds, motioning for her mom to sit with you guys. 'NONONONONO SHIT NONONO' You screamed in your head. It's not that you didn't want your mistress around, you were just so awkward around her for some reason. You feel like you screw everything up in her presence.
You take a deep breath and greet your mistress. "Good evening, my lady" you say with a smile, your heart racing. "Good evening, pet" she greeted back, smirking slightly. 'WHAATADJFK??!!?!?!?!?' You thought, eyes wide. You felt your cheeks heat up. Bela was oblivious. "Ugh reaaaaaaad" she whined. You snapped out of it, hearing a chuckle from your mistress.
After a while, Bela falls asleep. You stop your reading and look at your lady, who was looking at you. "I'll get her to bed, don't worry" you stumbled, going to pick Bela up. "No no, sweet one. She's too heavy for you." Lady Dimitrescu sat up and scooped her daughter into her arms.
Your lady turned around. "I think my daughter's really do like you" she whispered, smiling. You nervously scratched your arm. "Thank you, mistress" you said, looking down. "Why don't you meet me in my quarters tomorrow? I have something for you" she whispered again, holding back a smirk this time.
You could barely get any words out. "Y-yes ma'am" you stammered. "Good girl" she praised, exciting the room with her daughter in her arms.
You just stood there, flabbergasted at what just happened. 'Nono I'm dreaming, right?' You thought, pinching your arm. You were in fact not dreaming.
You took a deep breathe and cleaned up around the library, before returning to your quarters. You were barely able to sleep. 'Why am I so awkward around her?!?!?' You thought, frustrated with yourself. You smooshed your head in your pillow finally fell asleep.
THANK YOU GUYSSSS.
I'm OBSESSED with Lady Dimitrescu and all I can think about is her. Thank you for feeding my obsession.
MORE CHAPTERS WILL BE PUT OUT!!

Jacks so terrified of his wolf hurting innocent ppl but really it only hurts ppl who are a threat to him/actively hurting him
He left Ted alone bc Teds his friend whom he knows and trusts. He left Elsa alone even tho she was only his ally for a little while and had the skill to kill him because she actively showed that she wasn’t trying to hurt him.
But most importantly, he left the butler alone. Why I feel he’s the most important is because until this point, Jack didn’t really have any contact w him. He didn’t know him, spoken to him, trust him, if anything, he had a reason not to trust him! He was actively helping and enabling the ppl trying to kill him! But he didn’t pose a threat so he lived; he wasn’t even injured!
Jack might think that his wolf is just a mindless killing machine but really it’s making very smart survival decisions in order to keep the most number of ppl (and themselves) alive

Man-Thing (Theodore Sallis) . Ted Sallis worked on a new Super Soldier Serum, but when AIM tried to take it from him, he fled. The chase resulted in Sallis crashing into the Everglades Swamp and the serum mixed with the swamp and himself, thus changing Sallis forever... . What do you think about the Man-Thing and do you think he should be in the MCU? . 1st - 4th slide is from the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe v3 5 (1991) by Keith Pollard and Josef Rubinstein. 5th and 6th slide is by Liam Sharp and Robin Riggs (1995). 7th slide is by Lee Sullivan (1995). 8th slide is by Tom Kyffen (1995). . #manthing #hulk #midnightsons #90s #liamsharp #leesullivan #tomkyffen #mcu #scientist (på/i Florida Everglades) https://www.instagram.com/p/CgVBHujsCUt/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
