ABOUT:
Character name: Calum Travers
Age & Birthday: 25 & October 25th
Gender & Pronouns: Cis-male & He/Him
Occupation: Improper Use of Magic Officer at The Ministry of Magic
Blood status: Pureblood
Previous house: Slytherin
Affiliation: Death Eater
Face claim: Casey Deidrick
BIOGRAPHY:
Calum was raised in a pureblood family, with their own values and beliefs. He grew up to be a proud pureblood, thinking how he is better than anyone else. Growing up, he was quite stubborn and hot-headed which let him into occasional arguing with his father. Despite the fact he was a bit rebellious, he still wanted to make his parents proud.
When he went into Hogwarts and was sorted in Slytherin, he couldn't be more proud. He was quite good in many things, but he was always ambitious and wanted to work for the Ministry of Magic one day. He worked very hard to make it happen, and his parents were giving him support, as always.
After graduating, Calum made it to Ministry of Magic, which was his dream after all. He got a job as an officer of improper use of magic. It was actually pretty amusing fact, as he was using a black magic so much. Just like his sister, Calum was on the side of the Dark Lord from the beginning. That was one of the reasons to be in Ministry of Magic, to be an eyes and ears of Dark Lord.
At present, Calum was aware that he should get married and have kids. It wasn't something he couldn't live without, but it was necessary. Besides, what would be the best way to cover your true sexuality, than to got married? He was pretty involved with other Death Eaters and he considered them as other family, which Dark Lord got together. They will win the war, Calum was sure of it and there is nothing he wouldn't do to make it happen.

ABOUT:
Character name: Benjy Fenwick
Age & Birthday: 26 & November 22
Gender & Pronouns: Cis-male & He/Him
Occupation: Barista at Borealis Cafe, Ex-Auror
Blood status: Muggleborn
Previous house: Ravenclaw
Affiliation: Order of the Phoenix
Face claim: Tom Holland
BIOGRAPHY:
The Fenwick's had always been loving folks. Miriam Fenwick worked as a primary school teacher, and Liam Fenwick was a banker, the couple had been high school sweethearts who married young and always dreamt of having a big family. Although they quickly learned that dream might not be possible for them, as Liam had issues with infertility. This information wouldn't stop them, and they opened their home for foster children, figuring if they couldn't have any of their own, at least they could help children who needed it. It wasn't long before they adopted their first child, Anna, and a second came soon after, Oliver.
Even with their two children, the Fenwick's still took in foster kids as often as possible, knowing they were positively impacting these kids' lives. They loved every child that came into their lives, it didn't matter what situation they came from, every kid deserved to have someone that cared for them. By some miracle, Miriam had found out she was pregnant, and the Fenwick’s were overjoyed to find out another member was being added to the family. Miriam’s pregnancy was a breeze, and Thomas was born happy and healthy. Benjy’s mother, on the other hand, wasn’t so lucky. Her pregnancy was difficult and unfortunately passed away only a few short hours after the birth of her son. Despite the fact that they had a newborn themselves, the Fenwick’s couldn’t turn away a baby the same age as Thomas when asked to foster him.
The plan was only to foster Benjy for a few weeks while social workers attempted to contact his family members, but it seemed the poor child didn’t have any living relatives on his mother’s side, and his father was unknown. At this point, though, the Fenwick’s couldn’t dream of giving Benjy up, having taken care of him for the first few weeks of his life, and the pair adopted him, bringing in the sixth member of the family.
Being only a month apart in age, Benjy and Tommy were incredibly close. Despite the fact that they looked nothing alike, everybody considered them twins. They did absolutely everything together and basically lived in their own little world. Of course they loved their other siblings, but Anna and Oliver were older, and almost ready to move out on their own by the time the boys were ten. The house was never quiet, though, with foster siblings coming in and out of their lives every few weeks. The Fenwick house was always full of love, family and acceptance.
Benjy had known there was something different about him, strange things happened around him whenever he felt strong emotions. The only person he’d told was Tommy, but it became quite difficult for him to hide it. Everything began to make sense on his eleventh birthday, when a woman dressed in eccentric robes showed up at the house, explaining that Benjy was a wizard, and inviting him to attend Hogwarts. Everybody was ecstatic learning that Benjy was special. Everybody but Tommy. Tommy was upset, his best friend would be leaving him, but eventually, he warmed up to the idea after knowing that Benjy would be home for the holidays and summer break.
Arrival at Hogwarts was the most exciting thing young Benjy had ever experienced. Everything was incredible and magical, and he was happy to call the castle his home throughout the school year. He was sorted into Ravenclaw for his wit and his ability to think outside the box. The Ravenclaw commonroom was where he’d had his first encounter with bullying and discrimination. According to some of his housemates, his blood was dirty and he would never be a decent wizard because of it. He never let their hateful words get to him, knowing that kids were bullies due to their own insecurities. Instead, he proved them wrong, coming out as one of the top students in every class. Magic was so interesting, different from the more mundane subjects he’d learned about at his muggle school, and he could retain the information easily since he was actually interested in it.
Eventually, the bullying died down, and Benjy was thriving. He was popular given his ability to find the good in everybody, he was intelligent and still found time to play on the quidditch team as a chaser. However, his favourite time of the year was any time he got to go home and see Tommy, they were still incredibly close despite the fact that they spent the majority of the year apart from each other. They were so close, in fact, that as soon as they both graduated, the two of them moved in together in a small apartment in London. Benjy dove straight into auror training, while Tommy was going to university to study law.
Auror training went well, and he was fast-tracked as a fully certified auror in under a year due to the war. It was hard work, but Benjy was determined and managed to make it through with no complaints. Benjy served as an auror for a few years, and he made his way through the ranks, becoming one of the most notable aurors in the department. But, with a shift in power, changes began happening in the Ministry. The first victims being the auror department. Some lame excuse about too many members on the team and not enough criminals in the streets, but the only people who were let go happened to be muggleborns. Benjy left his position, but not without making a scene first. It wasn’t fair, it wasn’t right, and he wasn’t going to leave without making that known.
Instant regret hit him when he arrived back at his apartment to see the dark mark floating in the sky. His heart sank into the pit of his stomach as he walked in to see his brother on the ground, unmoving. It was the absolute worst day of his life, and Tommy’s funeral was a close second. He decided that day to obliviate his family, remove himself from their memories in order to keep them safe. He couldn’t let what happened to Tommy happen to them. It’s only been a few months since then, and Benjy has been having a hard time adjusting. He managed to find a job, a barista, which wasn’t ideal but it paid the bills. Some day this war would be over, and until then, Benjy was going to do what he could to make things right.
