akito is probably one of the funnier project sekai characters just as a concept because he takes himself so seriously and is like ur typical “I’m cool and tough” teen boy character but the game itself is so unserious & so is everyone he knows so he’s constantly getting stuck in Situations. His best friend is fairly serious but also is like the no.1 reason he gets dragged into shit. If I could choose one character to learn about the other unit sekais it would be akito because I want him to experience the wxs sekai so badly.

so now both are just very confused about why the other is the only one not acting how they're expecting them too

like that conversation in the hallway in Draco's second year changes entirely and both are left going ????? about it because most other interactions happen more or less how their expecting with the caveat that they haven't changed anything about it so now their both going what the hell did I do??

I really enjoy the life series being a thing that goes “thrown into a death game and shit gets intense and we all end up needing therapy” BUT ALSO the meta version where it’s “Grian invited us to a death game and we voluntarily went and shit got intense but it’s all good we know we’re doing this for entertainment, no hard feelings anywhere (although some players hold grudges stronger than others)”

Maybe everyone else sees it too, but it becomes invisible to them as the season progresses. As shit gets intense and they get their head lost in the game
