Coining

so, one of us is attracted to the vessel we reside in (they're also attracted to other members of the constellation but I digress) and we weren't able to find a term other than autosexual that described this, so we made our own term! Very proud of Jay for doing this!

veysexual - a plural-specific term that describes an alter/headmate who is attracted to the body/vessel they reside in. Can be used with any other orientation (such as gay or sysian) and does not specify a gender. Falls under the auto- umbrella, but specifically meant for plurals.

Appreciate your blog in a lot of ways.

As a plural who's just...collectively sysian (so, we are attracted to people within our system and ONLY pur system), our relationships get treated as less "real" than external world ones, even the ones that would otherwise be completely conformant.

We used to identify as asexual (and then aceplex, once we discovered we were plural) before finding this out (that we are sysian) and so we see a LOT of similarities between the acemisia that asexuals are given and the weird intersection of plurmisia and neuroqueermisia that plurals are given.

People often assume plurality is traumagenic (it's not always, we are. Literally a non-traumagenic/an endogenic plural) too, and so there's also that additional layer to unpack as well, something we see assumed with asexuals, and also just plain plf sex-repulsed folks regardless of their sexuality.

So, uh, to make this more understandable via meme:

Sysians 🤝 Sex-repulsed Folks 🤝 Asexuals

Constantly being told their experiences aren't real and you just haven't "found the right one to heal you yet" and other BS.

TLDR. We appreciate your blog a lot. We aren't sure what else to say here? We will always stand with our asexual and sex-repulsed siblings regardless of how much we do or do not change collectively.

Going from one label (asexual, or possibly aceplex) to another (sysian) has made us notice things in ways we both do like and do not like.

We asked an alloamato person once about their experience of attraction and they said it was something about the face, and, back then we were just like "what the fuck?" but some of us are in face starting to appreciate that, no, that may not be the case in the external world, but headmates catching glimpses of each other from the innerworld has certainly made us feel flushed before.

At the same time, we do sort of feel this repulsion or at least apathy when said external world individuals come into play that we can't necessarily ignore or downplay either. And because headmates in plural systems are treated using parts language as a default singlets assume we aren't "real people" whatever the fuck that means — are YOU real, to any singlets reading this post? How do you actually know that though? How do you know you were meant to live completely on your lonesome with nobody else inside of you to support you? Why is or you feel the need to get the support and validation from outside of yourself, as you seem to do with many of your sexual relationships? — and so allonormativity gets applied to us in very weird ways. We're only allosexual when it's convenient to hurt us in that way, otherwise we're treated as completely asexual regardless of fronter's current orientation.

This means we've basically been typing up/jotting down our observations as we think of them on the similarities and differences between being asexual and being sysian.

The sane goes for aromanticism too, replace allonormativity with amatonormatvity.

This is what the intersection of non-ableism plurmisia looks like when it crosses with queermisia.
