#surprise!! i actually didnt make this very shippy

I really don't care about whatever someone ships or doesn't & I do believe you that it's not meant shippy & I think that's fine, because it's fiction so you can make up a bond between whoever you like however you like. But that goes for everyone else alike.
Art will be interpreted as soon as you look at it not after digging for the artist's own opinion, so I can't say I'm surprised that people look at it and think it's shippy first. Sure, some were annoying about it I grant you that, but I think it's because it simply comes of hypocritical to act like a ship interpretation is nuts when the art simply does look like that on first glance.
The average MP100 viewer will not interpret a familial bond between these two characters who canonically barely interacted, but you did. (& more power to you) Maybe your average follower will not interpret a romantic implication in your artworks, but others will. (& more power to them)
I really don't think people lack parental love to see it shippy, I think people simply expect parental love between, well, a parent and their child. Not someone you personally declared to be a "weird uncle" to a girl he barely knows. I didn't even want good night kisses from my actual "weird uncle" as a kid idk man.
Again, I don't see the slightest issue with the platonic relationship you make up for them. I just also get where the romantic interpretations are coming from.
Your uncle/niece interpretation sincerely is farther removed from canon than ship interpretations are from your artworks.
Interesting message so I'll answer this genuinely.
To start off: I Never once implied that it was crazy that other people would interpret this as romantic at first glance. I quite literally said that I understood the confusion because these two barely interacted in canon. Which is why Im always happy to explain my intentions. Experiences vary so what one considers normal may not be normal to someone else: I'm very much aware of this but y'all clearly aren't.
When it gets to the point where people say "this artist drew that AND said it wasn't shipping even though we can obviously tell theyre delusional and in denial", that's where the problem is. I provide an explanation, that explanation gets ignored, people either answer "lmao just admit it" or they treat me as if I'm the worst person alive and they refuse to accept they must've been wrong about their interpretations. They proceed to openly "discuss" this (by just mocking me repeatedly, nothing constructive) in a public space where they think I can't see it almost as if they forget I'm an actual person who can come across these messages at any time.
What others ship or don't ship is none of my concern, I stay away from circles I dislike. But when people constantly attempt to force me into "admitting" I'm into something that I have zero interest in out of malicious intent, then naturally it'll annoy me.
I'm sure you didn't really mean to imply that I was merely outraged at the thought of someone interpreting this as romantic if they didnt know every single thing about my headcanons which is why I'm answering you sincerely. So please forgive me for assuming the ones who compared a peck on the cheek to some nonsense like "platonic breastfeeding" have never experienced any sort of familial love growing up 💜

Someday the dream must end
remember that final fantasy au??? think you were done?? off the hook?? incorrect, im constantly devising ways to incorporate my love of shcool idols into my love of video games, watch in awe and amazement as i completely warp the plotline of ffx to fit my needs and also make Ruby Kurosawa Sad, also i blatantly ripped off the title from my favorite song in the soundtrack, sorry not sorry ((please listen to it its so good,,,,i cry,,,,))
anyways here have monsters magic and siblings crying ft yoshiko mari and kanan
“Hey, Ruby~! Keep up!” Yoshiko calls with a loppy smile from up on the ridge ahead of her, which is a really bad idea for someone who trips as often as Yoshiko does, really, doesn’t she think about this kind of thing at all – Mari yanks her away from the edge and pulls her into a too-affectionate hug as an excuse, but shoots Ruby a meaningful look over Yoshiko’s shoulder.
Ruby nods, stepping a little faster up the hill and tearing her eyes away from the sun’s reflection on the ocean. “We’re in Zanarkand again.” She says bluntly. “Are you….are you sure you’re ready for this, Mari?”
The waves crash up against the wall of the cliff and Ruby looks out to sea again, and she can see the ruins from around the curve of the mountain now – the walls pulsate with glimmering spirits like a beacon for the summoners on their home stretch.
Mari gives her a placating smile and walks over slowly, like her legs are only getting tired just now. She puts a hand on Ruby’s shoulder. “If we weren’t ready, we would still be in Besaid moping about things,” She says, and Ruby blushes and looks away for a moment. Maybe asking was a little cowardly.
She wasn’t looking for a way out, subconsciously, right?
No. Ruby casts the thought from her mind – she is going to do this. It was her idea, and Mari is willing to die for it, so to back away now…..! She can’t do it. It hurts too much to think about.
“Aaah~! The sun is refreshing, isn’t it? Look how it shines on the water! We should soak up this sunlight while we can, right, Ruby?” Mari says enthusiastically, and stretches her arms out towards the setting sun as if she can grab hold of it and hoist it back up.
Ruby laughs into her jacket collar again. “Thanks, Mari.” She says, sincerely.
She just smiles, and squeezes Ruby’s shoulder, hard, before walking down the hill after Yoshiko, who has tripped into the bramble somehow. “Don’t fall too far behind, okay?” she warns, and then proceeds to laugh at Yoshiko instead of heal her.
And so Ruby wanders not far behind, brushing off the chill that pursues her from the cliff’s wind.
Yoshiko, meanwhile, is awed at the glowing stone ruins, and traces the pulsing turquoise stone flesh with her hands, like the glow is some kind of powder that will come off. Mari slaps her hand away, but she’s still curious about it. “What are these? They’re stuck in the rock!”
“They’re Fayth,” Ruby says in a hum of subdued, quiet explanation. “They prayed for their souls to leave their bodies and turned into stone to realize a dream. These people are all dreaming together.”
“I-in a rock…?” She asks uncertainly, and taps on the side of the rock like it’s a fishtank. “Are they alive?”
Mari shakes her head and Yoshiko, looking somewhat disturbed, pulls her hand away from them. “Should you send them?” She looks at it, and her eyes flit back from the Fayth in their stone tombs to the pyreflies attracted to the monuments. Mari shakes her head again.
“They’re important where they are. Let them dream a while longer.”
“I’m going ahead, alright?” Yoshiko says abruptly, as if she isn’t even a little shaken. “The dashing Yohane will ensure the path ahead is clear of traps, beasts, and civilians!” She scurries away with a flourish.
Ruby drags her hand along the fayth, smooth stone skin and the bumps where their limbs and bodies entangle with the roots of trees or even each other. The light is pulsing. She puts her head to it, like they could speak to her.
Will she be able to speak when this is through?
She shivers and presses forward.
Yunalesca is waiting for them like she was last time. She seems highly, highly amused, seeing and recalling their faces. “You have come back a second time? And as a summoner no less?” She chuckles. “You two are of a truly selfless make, aren’t you? Sacrificing everything twice.”
Ruby is shaking where she stands, but Mari is the one being addressed so she has to wait. She saw visions of their last trip here on the way, memories rebounding against the walls of the ruined temple as pyreflies thick with energy recreate the actions of the souls who have passed through. She was close enough to Dia’s echo to touch it – to touch her.
“I am prepared to finish my journey.” Mari says solemnly, and then throws in, as more of an afterthought, “-lady Yunalesca.”
“Very well.” Her voice echoes and she extends a slender arm, and a delicate hand, fingers outwards as if Mari could dare to take her hand. “Choose who will become the Fayth for the final summoning.”
Her moment.
“I will!” Ruby says, sharply, before Yoshiko can so much as gasp. Ruby steps forward with desperate conviction. “I will become the Fayth for the final aeon.”
Yunalesca merely looks at Mari, who nods gravely.
“Ruby,” Mari says, as Yunalesca is walking down from the thronelike steps. “Are you sure?”
She laughs nervously. “It’s not like you can tell  her “no”, Mari. R-ruby’s ready! I’m going to – h-help you kill,” Ruby loathes herself for shaking so much. It’s only a death. Not even a complete death. “Sin,” She squeaks out finally, relieved that she can stop talking and concentrate on the goddess that has arrived in front of her.
The woman holds Ruby’s face by the chin, long nailed finger dragging up the underside of her jaw as she looks almost appreciatively into her eyes. Yunalesca has been dead for a thousand years.
Ruby wonders if Dia is still unsent, too, and if she’s been dead for eight.
Eventually Yunalesca makes a satisfied “hmph”, and takes her hand away to cast a spell. Ruby sucks in a deep breath and tries to look proud. “Guardian of the divine summoner……cast aside your spirit to become the final tool against Sin.”
“Y-yes. I will.”
The goddess reaches into her and pulls her soul from the inside, and Ruby grits her teeth and bears it while her world unravels. Before she has left herself completely, she sees with open eyes the space between mortal and Fayth, shining like the most coveted of gemstones.
“They’re so bright,” She thinks, tears and snot running from her face in a completely un-guardian like manner.
After this Ruby knows she is very much gone; her bones betray her and her flesh turns to stone in a fractal way, each inch the stone has crept up fracturing her in little ways. Her spirit, which she is still contained within, glows separate from her body and Ruby watches the pain from some removed place in a different plane of existence.
It’s nearly hard to come up with a dream, despite having longed for this chance for so many years to become the powerful being that can make good her sister’s redemption of the world: Ruby wants to bring peace and renown to Dia even if she is dead and can no longer appreciate those things because Ruby love love loves Dia and, when this is all done, they will be reunited in the astral plane and nothing will ever harm them again.
A voice that isn’t hers sounds the last thought out, although it is very similar. This voice is Ruby-adjacent. Powerful Ruby.
Ruby latches onto it with fervor and feels the burning of her soul eke out a new form for her, large and powerful where her old body was not.
The statue cracks and Ruby wiggles her fingers that are growing harder and shrapnel-like in their sharpness, and her eyes which have become dark and concaved things pulsate with a teal light reminiscent of her old eye color but with the added flair of something ancient underneath.
Broad, powerful, like the fiends they have fought. Ruby wants to protect Dia, and Mari, and Yoshiko, and all of Spira if it will let her, and for this endeavor she will need something fast, agile, strong.
Wings sprout from the statue but they are already stone – that body is well and truly empty by this point. It gleams over with one more lapse of spirit and Ruby continues forming herself from the scattered pyreflies that drift affront the stone girl.
The light beings gather at her base and she feels the pressure of matter upon her again; her “body” is forming into something more tangible. Ruby is hunched in this form and there is an added counterweight to her back that she was unaware of. Her face is long and ends in a forked red horn, which glitters like her namesake and must be made of the gemstone, too.
She roars and lands in front of Mari, then preens, spreading dazzling crimson wings and giving a beat of them before leaning down to smell the summoner with a wolfish snout. Mari cries softly and hangs off her face with its new horn, nearly as large as she is.
Ruby finds she is incapable of crying but shares the sentiment.
Yunalesca claps once. “A marvelous beast. Are you ready to defeat Sin?”
She feels the pyreflies making up her body drift away as if by wind, and suddenly she isn’t out anymore, she’s stuck in her rock. Mari nods and keeps her head low; Yoshiko is actually right beside Ruby with a painfully confused look on her face.
Mari drags her off and Yoshiko tries desperately to crack Ruby’s stone tomb somehow, hand rough against her hardened arm. There is a ghost of feeling, to it – she felt that, felt touch, that is, which means all those things outside –
Her monument is dragged off and the world goes hazy and black.
“I will become the last Fayth.” Kanan said, holding her sword high. “For Spira.” Her voice broke there. “For my friends, so that none of them must share in our fate.”
Dia didn’t – or couldn’t – say anything so Mari screamed for Kanan then, with a breathless, breaking note, but it did not reverse the process. Too quickly Kanan became stone and disappeared into pyreflies. They reformed eventually into the final aeon that would kill Sin: A spiraling dragon, with a long, thin body dotted by two pairs of wings and six legs, each equipped with the paws of a different beast. She spun in the air and pierced it with horns like a two pronged drill.
The Kanan that came back was different but still kind and gentle, and Mari knew she was still there when she first came to land in front of her instead of Dia like she was supposed to.
They were sent off as a group and came back with only two – upon being summoned a second time, Kanan slew Sin where it stood in the ocean and turned to find Dia killed by its spines, collapsing into grief and pyreflies that got caught up in those escaping Sin’s body.
Gone, but at a steep cost. Mari took Ruby home that day and didn’t say a word until they were called upon to celebrate. They abstained, and moved to Besaid, where they had a quiet few years until….
Mari summons Ruby with a flash of light; connected to her soul, Ruby feels the tremendous drain it has created on Mari’s strength; she can feel that she is going to waste away if she does not receive copious amounts of attention, fast.
Somewhat stupidly, perhaps, Ruby thinks that maybe if she can kill Sin fast enough, or fly down from the heavens she was cast aside to with enough speed, she can save Mari – maybe, anyways, hopefully. There’s at least a chance.
Not exactly.
From the moment she has touched down, broad claws planted in the cliffside, she is grappling with the biggest, most unstoppable of demons, feeling plated arms slam into her side and rend feathers from her wings, and it’s ludicrous, really, because she was a girl not eighteen years of age and now she is an aeon strong enough to wrestle with Sin itself.
Mari’s strength saps a little more, that flagging essence creating a sense of urgency. Sin won’t kill her: Mari dying will.
Ruby sees a crowd of sin’s scales crawl too close to Yoshiko and Mari’s place, and swats them aside with a mighty tail before launching herself at Sin, claws and talons and fangs grappling with anything and everything she has, her spirit and body committed to tearing the monster apart. It seems almost successful if the thick, leaking wounds on its sides, dripping with pyreflies and black ooze, have anything to say about it.
Sin wails and sways in the water, a behemoth maw closing around Ruby’s right wing, which is ripped from her back.
She can’t scream, but Mari, connected to her by spirit, lets out a strangled noise and falls over on the ground from pain.
Ruby plunges her teeth into the thick neck of Sin and shakes and rips until she is sure she has found the center.
She rips it apart, one last tendon to cut, like the last thread holding on the arm of one of her stuffed animals back at home (what a strange thought) and the carcass lies before her in the ocean. There’s a sense of elation, but Mari still hasn’t gotten up and Ruby is fading quickly, so she needs to do something fast, she needs to say something, or make some sort of gesture, or –
Her body begins to melt off of her spirit, in turn with Sin’s, so Ruby sticks her face as close as she can without harming Mari or Yoshiko and gives them a pleading look. Mari is also disappearing, staring up at the air and all the dead things glowing in it with a dazed look.
“Kanan,” She breathes out harshly, pointing uselessly at the cloud of spirits. “I’m...”
“Why didn’t you tell me you would die?!” Yoshiko screams, practically. She’s bleeding, but still very much mortal and very much remaining in her place. “I thought we were just going to summon whoever was summoned the first eight times – I thought – I thought -!”
Ruby dissipates before she can hear. She’s mostly sure Yoshiko thought they’d all be the first to come out alive, though. That’s the kind of stupid thing Yoshiko liked to believe in, constantly. That they would be the special ones, that is.
Up in the air, Ruby can feel the pyreflies that made up her body rising higher and higher, without her, and congealing in the sky in what she is sure is a mess of dead meeting the dead, spirits that had been absorbed so long ago they no longer remembered being conscious, a small mercy.
Is this what it is to be a ghost?
Unsent?
Ruby thinks she is floating, aimlessly. It’s not entirely bad.
“Ruby.” She must be tired, or dreaming, still, because she’s certain that that is – “Ruby, please…..We don’t have much time…”
“Dia!” Ruby reaches for the voice, and even if she is technically “floating” she feels as if she can run into her arms, wherever they may be. Luckily they are dead and Dia doesn’t need to be ran to; she sort of just materializes closer to Ruby, who grabs her despite neither of them really existing at the moment and holds her close. “We came back……we k-killed Sin, s-so I could see you…..”
Dia looks at Ruby with tears in her eyes. “You’re thoughtful, Ruby, truly.” She looks away.
“But I fear you have made a terrible mistake.”
“What?” She asks, uncertain. There’s a tugging at her pyreflies – wasn’t she disconnected from that body now? Ruby is anxious now. “We’re dead. We can’t make much more of a mistake than that.”
Dia inhales, long and slow-like, until she regathers her bearings and gives her younger sister a long, sad look. “Kanan…..became Sin, after we defeated it. The truth we learned when we fought it…..going inside Sin……. Yevon is there, and he uses the leftover body of the final aeon to….”
“No.” Ruby says quickly. “I only did this so that I could  - no, no! I don’t want to do that!”
Her sister pulls her by the shoulders and gives Ruby a grave look. “Ruby. We do not have much time. Kanan has been returned to Mari, but only after death. We must end this – we must kill Yevon.”
“We’re dead!” Ruby cries. “Isn’t everything supposed to be over when we’re dead?!”
“Go to Zanarkand, early. Mari had a friend there – Maru. Find her. You will destroy the city but it’s not truly you, not truly your fault-“
“I don’t want to I don’t want to I don’t want to I don’t want t-“ She sobs, and Dia tries to placate her with transparent hands while she talks over her.
“Bring Maru back, we need someone from the dream Zanarkand to do this. From Mari’s.“
Ruby sniffles even though she technically isn’t producing snot, because she’s a ghost. She’s being pulled away from Dia, again. How long will it go on? “I’m scared.”
Dia smiles. “Remember to do your best, okay? I believe in you. I’ll find you on that day – when Sin is next killed. I’ll wait for you. I swear it.”
A hundred thousand leagues beneath the ocean, Ruby opens a hundred eyes on an only barely-formed body.
Find the dream world, she repeats to herself, consciousness lagging behind a dark thing that aches to find a city. Find Maru. Bring her back. Ruby thinks. She has to end it - be the last one.
Sin rumbles appreciatively at the sentiment.
Zanarkand will be ashes when it is done, but for now, it is the Calm, and Sin must wait.

idk if youve been watching hc s9 but impulse, gem, and pearl is the trio i didnt know i needed. could you write something with the three of them getting up to harmless shenanigans? pranking their neighbors and such? up to you if it's shippy or not!!
i haven't actually gotten into hc s9 just yet, but i will do my Very Best to act like someone who has! legally if i do badly you can't sue me now that i have disclosed this /j
~
The three of them were gathered in a side room in Impulse's developing base, the man himself having private messaged them both that they had urgent business to discuss. Urgent business that had included cookies, since he was apparently not entirely pass his Willy Wonka phase.
"It has come to my attention," he began once all guests were seated and treated, "that this server is running seriously low on its mischief and mayhem meters for this new world."
"It is?" Gem took a bite out of one of her cookies, swallowing before continuing, "I feel like there's already been a lot of chaos for how little we've been here."
"Hermitcraft standards for mischief and mayhem are very lofty standards."
Pearl twirled half a cookie between her fingers. "He's got a point, things don't ever really slow down here."
Impulse pointed at Pearl. "Yes, exactly! Things must always be happening, the zanier the better! And with Mumbo on extended leave for whatever odd reasons he may have-"
"Didn't he say his mental health was doing poorly?"
"No, he said he hoped his mental health was doing poorly, because he didn't want to believe Grian's rock actually gained sentience and attempted to threaten his life."
"-there is a gap in the usually swift and full line of chaos production!" Impulse finished, ignoring Gem and Pearl's mini-conversation. "And that, my fellow connoisseurs of trickery, is where we come in!"
Gem took another bite of her cookie in thought. "So... you're saying we need to commit trickery to keep the balance?"
"Pursue recreational pranking for the good of the server?" Pearl added.
Impulse grinned. "Correct! I propose we begin with the biggest target possible, to make a name for ourselves as the defenders of the chaotic peace."
"You mean the admin?" Impulse nodded. Pearl pointed her cookie at him. "You're saying you want us to start off with pranking Xisuma, the guy who only just whitelisted me and Gem one moon-crash ago?"
Impulse nodded again. Pearl matched his grin. "I'm in."
"You had me at the cookies." Gem admitted, finishing hers before asking, "But what do we do? And what do we call ourselves? We can't make a name for ourselves unless we have one first, right?"
"An excellent point, Gem! I suggest we call ourselves-" Impulse hastily removed the wall behind him to reveal three banners spelling out 'PIG', "PIG! In honor of Timmy, the beloved tour guide. In addition, it fits the theme of mob-based mischief makers, following in the grand steps of legends such as Poultry Man and Worm Man."
"Who?"
Impulse waved a dismissive hand. "Don't worry about it. We have a name now! All that's left is the perfect prank."
"Well... if we're going to be PIG, we should probably fill Xisuma's base with as many pigs as we can find." Gem suggested, grinning slyly. "We could feed them carrots once they're there too, for even more piggys."
"And I can flip some of them upside down, for a unique touch." Pearl added, getting a glint in her eye. "Bet I could get some of them in some odd corners, too. Surprises even after he thinks he's cleared them all."
Impulse pretended to wipe a tear from the corner of his eye. "Beautiful, absolutely beautiful." He planted his hands on the table in front of him, grin growing as Pearl and Gem leaned in with matching expressions. "We are going to create such beautiful mayhem, I just know it."

HOW MISHA USES JARED AND WHY HE DOES IT
Tumblr media
Misha, whom I liken to a cult leader, uses sympathy to attract and keep his heller minions or devotees.  This is where Jared comes in.  Whenever other actors speak about Jared's pranking, they speak about it lightheartedly and they always mention Jensen joining in.  What Misha does, and I have said this before, is to only talk about Jared and he uses words that his devotees will be triggered by.  Words like PTSD, abuse, harass etc.  The only time he is forced to mention Jensen is when Jensen is right in front of his face, for example during their Jibcon panel.  Because he can't lie to Jensen's face.  It will make Jensen suspicious.  So his minions see Jared as an aggressor.  One minion actually said that Jared sexually abuses Misha.  I have the receipts of it on another post.
Every love story needs a villain.  For the icky Cockles love story, Jared is an easy villain.  By extension, Sammy becomes a destiel villain.  Two birds, one stone.  I mentioned before that Misha likes to be the Alpha in his Cockles love story.  Misha likes to have sexual power over other people.  Jensen allows him to give off that impression because Jensen is too fearful whilst on stage.  Jared doesn't.  Look at the picture above.  Misha doesn't like that.  Not because he is a prude, but because it puts him in a submissive position and he hates that.  Misha's cockles narrative is that he is the alpha, Jensen is a delicate submissive, and Jared is an abusive brute with an ego problem, who just got handed his fame rather than earning it.  Misha also picks on Jared's looks as the reason for Jared's success.
Remember the mockumentary.  Misha wrote and directed the mockumentary himself.  Look at how he wrote out the characters.  Jensen is a peaceful flowerchild, who does yoga and eats a vegan diet.  He is not violent at all.  And most important, Jensen is petrified of Jared.  He doesn't want to be on stage with Jared.  And when Jared arrives to do his make up, Jensen runs away because he is so frightened.  Jared is an egomaniac who only thinks of himself.  He talks down to his show runner and keeps him on hold for almost half an hour.  He burns his fan mail and doesn't even acknowledge Jensen's presence.  He has an entourage, bullying people and kicking them off the set at his behest, collecting and burning fan mail and carrying mirrors for him so he can admire himself.  The most important thing is that in the mockumentary, Jensen and Jared share almost no screen time.  That didn't even occur to me until now.  Jared said that he was surprised as how the mockumentary edited, because he had done funnier things that ended up on the cutting room floor and the big meanie bits were left on film.
[If anyone has the transcript of that, please forward it to me]
Now that Misha had his hero and villain sorted out, he had to write a character for himself.  He couldn't make himself an Alpha who has too much screen time with Jensen.  Not only will it give Jensen the inkling that the is shippy, which could make him back out of the project, but J2 might actually laugh in Misha's face.  Because no sane person sees Misha as Alpha.  Even in his own wedding, he was the bride.  So the Alpha narrative was out.  The other standby was being the poor wittle victim.  Sympathy, his old reliable standby.  So his character was downtrodden, stuck on Supernatural, begging for work on other projects, and ostracized by his co-workers.  He got a terrible trailer and his name was misspelled.  Some people on staff didn't even know who he was.  Nobody sat next to him in the cafeteria.  Reading the comments on that will tell you how well he knows his fans.  They are mostly young college and school kids, and believed it blindly even though some of them knew they were watching a mockumentary.
Recently Jared have become aware of Misha's nastiness towards him and Jensen.  The biggest indicator of this is the chair gag at Comic Con.  Cult leader types never just walk in and sit down.  They have to make an entrance.  Misha walks in with a tiny chair and sit down, a foot shorter than everyone else.  Making jokes about him was something they all did [J2 and R2] and I think it was Misha's idea although I have no confirmation on that.  The reason why I think it was Misha's idea, is because they never did it before when all the guys were gathered, and they never did it again.  Remember, NerdHQ and the previous Comic Cons.  I am repeating the following from another of my posts, because it was succinct.
Halfway through the proceedings, presumably Jared realized how bad the joke was making them look, because at 26:01, Misha pointedly says "this joke is not funny anymore".  Jared must have gotten irritated, because the taunting was Misha's idea, but now he is saying something damaging about into the microphone for the entire auditorium to hear.  And making himself look like a victim.  So at 33:54, despite the fact that he had already answered the question, Jared reanswered it, to say something nice about Misha, and to let people know it’s just a joke.
Link to the panel:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6K9dHXJyLog
When Jensen, Jared and Misha took to the stage in Birmingham, Misha tried to pull the same trick with the short chair.  But if you watch the footage, Jared cut that nonsense short.  After getting introduced, when Jared realized what chair Misha was sitting on, he quickly went and exchanged it without ceremony.  He didn’t make a big show of it, because he wasn’t joking.  He didn't want a repeat of that nonsense on this panel.  Watch Misha's reaction.  He didn't expect Jared to ''spoil his gag''.  The mock crying and wiping his imaginary tears.  Sure, its funny to those who are not integrated into the cult.  But to his hellers, he was showing how moved he was that Jared was letting him sit on a proper chair.  Now, if you are rolling your eyes, because that sounds far-fetched, remember who we are dealing here.  Hellers.  Remember their meta, headcanons and logic and then tell me how far-fetched this is.
Notice Misha’s eye and body language during the Comic Con panel.  Especially when Bob Singer exchanges his seat with Misha.  He knows exactly how to make himself look like a victim, especially physically.  This is probably why they don’t do panels with Misha, because he does something that makes the boys look bad.  They have only recently become aware of it.  It was only in the very recent Comic Con that Jensen placed him between Jared and Alex, far away from Misha.  And the three of them let Misha have it, but not by talking really.  They just looked embarrassed when he spoke, shaking their heads with disapproval.  And it was hilarious to watch, because you can tell Misha wasn't in on the joke this time.  This time they really were mocking him.  When Alex said something, Misha sent the coldest death glare his way.  You can tell he was angry, because Misha mock outraged look is very distinct.
Someone said that Misha is jealous of Jared.  They can't be wrong.  Public school educated, frequently ill Jared has earned more recognition than Misha has, despite being a private school educated, kale eating bicycle tourist.  Misha copies Jared and gets only a quarter of the results.  So choosing Jared as a villain is an easy option for Misha, because Jared is easy for Misha to hate.  He has never said anything truly complimentary about Jared.  Remember, when Jensen said Jared was first on the call sheet and technically the lead.  Jensen followed that with ''I don't care about it.  Misha doesn't care.''  Watch the footage.  Misha mouths ''I care''.  Jared's success bothers him.  Oh, but he's just joking right, minions?
To date, he has only tweeted out one non-sarcastic tweet in support of Jared when Jared had to leave Jibcon because of illness.  The tweets congratulating Jared on the birth of his children are obligatory.  Other than that, Misha has never done or said anything to show that he cares about Jared.  Jared, because he isn't so quick on the trigger, when it comes to being cautious of people, has said countless times that he loves Misha.  Misha never reciprocates.  I am noticing that the declarations of love are dwindling.  I am hoping its because Jared is getting more aware of Misha's intentions.

(im sorry for dropping in again but if im allowed to be salty than im gonna be fuckin salty.) i feel like im one of the very few people who actually didnt mind that kaede was killed off. im a weirdo that just kinda likes it when the protagonist is killed, it kinda drives home the whole "anyone can die" thing and really raises the stakes imo. my issue with it is just that it was so early on. like i couldnt even get attached to her in that time frame. [1/7]
kaede could have at *least* lived until chapter two or something. flesh out her friendship with shuichi more. let her form bonds with her classmates more. let her have more of a rivalry with kokichi, that would have been interesting - i feel like theyd be good foils, if im using that term right. let her have development. i like it when games kill off the protagonist, but not like this. like. fuck. persona 3 is a good example. drv3 is not. [2/7]
and then theres how she was treated after her death!! she went from being a fully fledged character with a personality and FLAWS to just. shuichi's dead waifu. shuichi's dead waifu who can do no wrong. tsumugi killed rantaro so OBVIOUSLY she's completely 100% innocent lol. what do you mean she lied to everyones faces, set up a trap, and actively tried to murder someone??? she missed!! so obviously its all okay!!!! kaede did Nothing Wrong!!!1!1!!!!!! [3/7]
like i know she shouldnt have been executed for it given the specific rules and circumstances but they sure are quick to forget that she literally attempted murder. shes still just as guilty as she was beforehand guys. and it really fucking annoys me that they frame it as if kaede has done no wrong because she really *has* and thats what makes her interesting and human IMO. thanks for trying to rob her of depth on top of everything else, kodaka. [4/7]
also her FTEs in salmon mode, like. they were just... ship bait. and dont get me wrong, saimatsu is a valid ship, but what did we actually learn about kaede in her own fucking FTEs. nothing, unless im an oblivious fool. we got practically new about her life, or her personality, or her fucking anything at all it was just shippy stuff because i guess after chapter one kodaka gave up and decided that she would just forever be shuichi's waifu. [5/7]
if they wanted to shiptease saimatsu in kaede's FTEs they could have at least done it more like kaito's or kokichi's. like okay we didnt learn as much about either of them in their FTEs either since they spend the whole time bullshitting stories and lying through their teeth, but it still felt like *more*. and the ship tease was there, but it wasnt the entire fucking FTE in either case. just, like, some one off lines. why couldnt kaede's have been more like that. [6/7]
Anon your seventh part got eaten rip
Yeah Kodaka doesn’t like strong personalities in female characters so her dying isn’t too surprising when you realize that.
I don’t like how the narrative treats Kaede at all. :/// Sighs.

I can't believe I missed this episode holy shit
I just watched the Sallie House episode and holy shit.
(Some shippy things or however you see it below)
Shane.. something was up. He seemed so intense and did everything he could to get reactions out of Ryan. Wasn't fazed in the least, but with a slight hint of worry when a few things happened. He was yucking it up but at the same time keeping an eye out and an eye on Ryan.
which brings me to my next thing. Shane was hovering over Ryan in those moments where Ryan was panicking and was actually quite attentive. Like on the island of the dolls where suddenly he was behind Ryan in seconds and he grabbed him and pulled him back when (Ryan tripped? Fell?). Same here.
Ryan started having a panic attack and fell to the floor. Shane noticed as it begun and got that soft voice telling him "its okay, maybe sit down, watch your head, dont get hurt" and when Ryan wasnt as responsive and still in the attack, shane immediately went and sat directly about his head in the chair that he had to squeeze around Ryan to get into. I get it helps the shot to be that close when Ryan is spread out but.. there where easier to get to sitting options right there. I had a feeling he wanted to make sure he could help Ryan out of it and watch over him (the jumpcut to Ryan being up and fine). Protective and vigilante af friend that I would love to have.
Then the constant "you did it!" "I'm proud of you" "you're fine" from shane that clearly helps give Ryan confidence to keep going. Again, would love to have someone like that. I think Ryan is grateful for him as well when they go to these places. He is always sticking close to Shane or keeping him in his sight. If he starts to freak out bad, shane cracks a joke and you see the tense leave ryan and he plays along but you can tell he was grateful for the light tone.
The absolute JOY Shane has for a spooked Ryan is rather cute. Though, shane seems to back off if things start to get too far and reassures Ryan. This episode though... Like I said something was up here. He was glowing like a fool on adrenaline. (Like someone who got laid earlier or just won a car or smt)
The intensity Shane was using to taunt the demons while staring at ryans face was... a lot. Ryan wouldnt look him in the eyes even though i would have if someone is that close staring at my eyes for a while. (Which yeah, made it seem more like all that was fake and shane knew it but wanted to act it up to see how ryan would react. You know what? Ryan thinking its all real and being scared shitless was enough for me, entertaining as hell forget the legitimacy.
And immediately after that taunting Shane is laying on a pentagram telling the demon to eat his heart, or go after ryans heart, but wait back up “we are a packaged deal” and its just... is this all a power move of his over the demon? (Like that much energy he puts towards ryan is some sort of claim, acknowledging what is in the house but making it clear ryan is off limits.... alright im into the au now damnit) Just saying he is awfully charged in this episode and a ton of people took notice and I think ryan was kinda offput.. like what is happening
You can't tell me that Ryan didnt curl against shane's side laying there between vlog updates. After admitting it, moving closer, how terrified he was, and how comforting shane was being emotionally and physically (shoulder rub/close proximity/fully facing ryan/body launguage open and relaxed). I ever get a friendship like that im set for LIFE.
Shane comes off as " it's hilarious when youre scared and if I cause it. But if you seem unwell or its getting a little too intense im drawing the line for you. I however can take ALLLLL of this, bring it onnnn. Leave the smol one alone tho, I'm right here and ready to mingle."
Ryan might be buff but he is still a small dude compared to Shane and I get the impression shane finds it very endearing. And uhhhhh lemme just say it seems like flirting a bit with the height banter. That was one thing me and guys always banted on for an excuse to be close and comment on eachother lightly, kinda like a "hey shortstack.. i kinda dig that"
Shane seems like he is only going to these places and is on the show to get a rise out of Ryan. Like he isnt that interested other than the history, but damn if he isnt invested in thinking on how Ryan is going to take something or what will spook him while he is alone. He couldn't care less about these places but lights up when watching how Ryan is fairing with the place. Ryan is in his spotlight.
Ryan :“If I wake up and see something staring at me... *voice shaking and drawing in on himself*” and then shane leaning towards him doing an arm gesture (about to say something too, cut himself off) and expression I read as “you wont, ill be right next to you”
As they get ready for bed, Shane bringing up scary things to Ryan again to spook him and I guess it worked bc Ryan said “I’m moving closer to you, I dont care” and then a (pleased? surprised?) laugh and agreement from shane
Shane offering to go into a room first, "want me to take that?" "Want me to go in first?" "Watch your step, maybe i'll..." but also trying to guilt ryan into continuing to stay the night in the house after 3am (I wonder why hmmmm)
Heart Eyes left and right
What even was that last part of the episode, felt like a date, looked like a date, sounded like a date. “I’m happy to let you believe in this stuff cause then I get to watch you freak out.” “Lets leave, wait let me finish my beer” *Shane’s husky voice out of freaking no where* “Yeah, finish your beer.”
This episode was just.. a lot. Bless.
