Across the Spiderverse rewrite

Said i would do this in a few hours.ALMOST THREE MONTHS AGO.I am sorry,i'm so gods fuckdamn stupid💔💔💔

So a bit of Itsv first:It's an almost perfect movie so not much changed but i'm a firm believer in trans girl Miles so the franchise is called 'Spidergirl:Spiderverse' instead and Gwen cracked her egg in Into,Gwen is black/white mixed latina(dominican),Miles reveals her new name as 'Mirasol' as her last spoken line in it and Peni is shoujo themed instead of the moefication bullshit

The reason for Gwen and Mirasol's cosmic connection in Across is their transfemininity and being eachother's first ever trans girl friend and Mirasol is the reason Gwen managed to finally befriend other black girls in The Mary Janes and they're like sisters.Mirasol's been transitioning for 1 year but no meds were needed as her spider bite gave her her ideal apperance within a few months as it does all Spiderpeople and is pretty much radioactive gender affarming surgeries and hrt

The first few Ghostflower scenes play out mostly the same minus the romantic undertones but Hobie and Margo literally swing in on their city scene because they saw Gwen was gone and got worried so they sneaked off too so they could find her.Mirasol and Gwen nearly fall but Hobie and Margo catch them and then the roof talking scene is Mirasol getting to know the other two-they're The Core Four of the Spiderband and Hobie's first line is also the first thing he says to Mirasol:"Ay,Tinkerbell,you run out of faith and trust?You need a lil pixie dust?"

When they all go back to the Morales residence for Jefferson's party,it's revealed Mirasol did a small fib of Gwen being a 'friend from the web' i.e an online friend who she met and helped her realize she's trans,Margo is passed off as a school friend pretty easily and Hobie dosen't get a label put on him but Jefferson and Rio both think he's a secret boyfriend Mirasol's been hiding and this is why Jefferson dosen't like him rather than because he's a cop(househusband Jefferson au ftw)and why Rio DOES like him because she's so glad her Mija has taste instead of liking altie white boys.So she teases them about it and Hobie dosen't react too much and Mirasol is mostly just embarrased but subtly.There's a short montage of them demonstrating their powers to eachother as they take down random villains after sneaking off again and Gwen and Hobie show off to impress Margo and Mirasol

Straight after this,Peni arrives to tell them about the 50101 sitch and she's shifted to shonen like her world has-It's canon event(Spidergeddon)literally changed the and her structure.She went from sunshine to emo as per canon but it's explored in detail instead of a one-off shot and completely offscreen character development and i'll expand in a bit.When they're on Gayatri and Pavitr's dimension,there's actually no Spiderman yet and we're given a red herring that it's Pavitr but the one who gets bitten is Gayatri to reinforce 'Gwen Stacy dosen't have to be a fridged woman' and 'canon events are bullshit'.65 Gwen has a lot of feelings on this but tries to not make them Gayatri's problem and Pavitr is Spiderladdoo(Spiderwoman!Gayatri)'s guy in the chair.She calls him that after the mission is complete and he says 'I'm her guy in the chair' in a dreamy voice and with a goofy down bad grin on his face like she just called him her boyfriend

We then get to Earth 22191,Margo's dimension that's VR based and has secret post-apocalyptic origins like Hobie's only she knows about and it's a hidden trauma she carries that's revealed to the Spiderband who comfort her,but not before they have lots of gamer fun,including food and dressup game shenanigans,them playing as Gwen is so distracted flirting with Margo that she scores 0 points while Margo scores 200 flirting back and an Animal Crossing knockoff bit where Miausol(Meows)is confirmed and Hobie makes a quip about loving girls who're like cats.14512 is next up and things take a darker turn in tone as they work hard to bring it back to it's former glory with drop ins of japanese-american culture for representation and end up getting the first step to it and Peni violently glitches between artstyles as a magical girl transformation and shonen power up fusion and so she's a literal perfect inbetween inside AND out

And finally:Earth 138,Hobie's more or less home.We get to meet the comics Spiderband and there's lots of fun interactions between all of them as they get an adventure interesting enough to fill a 30 minute cartoon episode,including the reveal Hobie's dad is a deadbeat who bailed as soon as his mom divorced him but kept coming back to cause problems and Hobie dosen't care about him at all because his mom raised so well he dosen't need him but also believes she's been dead since he was 12 and it's revealed she's actually alive and this shocks him to his core with Mirasol being the only able to snap him out of it and he frantically says they have to find her and she promises him to while kissing him so close to his mouth you can't tell it's a cheek kiss at first look and he leans into while shaking as she says,"Hey,hey,hey,it's okay,Peter Pan-We'll get you your Neverland back."Both of Hobie's bands watch these scene wanting to join in but Riri tells them not to,saying 'I think Hobie's wants only one girl.Bout time,never thought he'd find more than zero'

At last:They arrive at Spider Society.Peter B(ft.Mayday)and Jessica greet them at the entrance after the grand reveal scene and there's a comical mix between scolding and wholesome moments and there were also some cutbacks to the Spiderparents between the Spiderkids to see what they got going on normally nowadays and included in this is an explanation of canon events and other Spiderlore that happens at the same time as the Spiderband's as intergenerational juxtaposition.Miguel's anger and reasonings have big buildup and we get to see more of Jessica and Peter B both by themselves,with eachother and with him and the Spiderman 2099 and Spiderwoman casts also get animated debuts in flashbacks.It's made clear Miguel dosen't hate Mirasol,he's just scared of all Anomalies she's causing and his words to her aren't nearly as harsh thanks to this but the fight still happens and he DOES use the word 'Anomaly' to describe her because it's too important in-universe and in a meta sense to the story's point to remove

Gwen also dosen't make up with George as character development but still 'betrays(not really)' Mirasol with the rest of the Spiderband not knowing about it either and that causes tension between her and them,Hobie the most but they still agree to follow her to Earth 42 because they love Mirasol that much.And a description given is 'This movie is for the forgotten Spiderpeople.This movie is also a love story between Mirasol and Hobie and i think that really brings it full circle'

sam is so kind and dedicated to football and stands up for what he believes in and dani is exuberant and enthusiastic and loves football and spreading joy - they already support each other wholeheartedly and encourage each other so much on and off the pitch, can you imagine how good and supportive partners they would be

no seriously though. imagine you're sam obisanya and it's your first season in the premier league and it's been a great experience but the striker of your team has been consistently treating you like shit and it Hurts. and then all of a sudden this new guy shows up and he's sweet and kind and adores football and within Literally Five Minutes Of Meeting You he learns your name, compliments your skill, works well with you, and makes you smile more than anyone else has so far. imagine your devastation when he's injured, and the relief when he turns out to be okay and continues playing well with you after the original striker leaves the team. what's that one soulmate quote where it's like "it wasn't love at first sight, but it was familiarity. something like oh, hello, it's you. it's going to be you." that's robisanya to a t.

they're literally onscreen together Constantly. i am usually the last person to ship a couple just because they're standing next to each other, but they get comfortable with each other so fast!!! dani literally jumps into sam's arms within five minutes of meeting him!! sam is the first person dani hugs after he arrives at the curse-breaking fire!!! (quite literally sam is Always the first person to reach dani when the team hugs!) they're sitting next to each other in the karaoke scene in 'make rebecca great again'!!! they're Always sitting or standing near each other in the locker room!!! their teamwork earned the team a goal in the man city match in the s1 finale!!! i could go on but just, they are clearly very comfortable with one another and very affectionate and it's wonderful to see.

the tiny details in s2 alone have destroyed me. in s2e2 you can see dani about to go after sam after sam storms off the pitch before ted follows. in s2e3 dani is The Only One who does not goodnaturedly rib sam about the dubai air pictures!!! he compliments sam genuinely!!! and you CANNOT convince me otherwise that while dani has genuine beef with jamie for his attitude, part of it HAS to be for how jamie treated sam. add all that to the parallels of sam and dani interacting kindly with the youngest higgins boy, and sam's support of dani during the penalty kick in s2e1, and how sam is the very first one to hug dani after dani gets over the yips, and you can see why i am Constantly Feral over these two. (not to mention all the bts pics cristo fernandez posts of himself and toheeb jimoh on instagram and that one interview the actors did where their characters were referred to "the beating hearts of the team".)

You would have to take some time to spill the beans since you have difficulties with expression emotions and that’s okay! Also, Johnny wouldn’t be quick to give up. Before you would spill the beans, Johnny would know you had feelings for him. Although you didn’t say any words, your feelings would be expressed through your actions. The amount of time and effort you would put into Johnny would say more than enough to him. You would pick up on little details on things he would like or take a certain interest in him that Johnny would think would be super sweet. Johnny is smart, so he knew to stick around, and of course when you were ready, you would tell him how you felt about him. After you would spill the beans with him, you two would become love sick puppies. Wrapped around each others pinkies and you’re also constantly gushing over each other. I can also see you constantly gushing over how Johnny is the best boyfriend ever. Mr. Seo here would be so considerate and he would do what you did before you started dating. He is always wanting to surprise you- they’re his thing. Whether it be flowers, lunch, bringing you your favorite snacks or drinks, Johnny has got some surprises for you. Another surprise that Johnny would call “his specialty” would be travel trips! What he would do is, he would take you with him when NCT would travel. Whether it be around the country(you can imagine your location wherever you want) or abroad, as soon as Johnny would get the okay, he is coming at you to pack your bags. Of course you wouldn’t always be able to go with him, but you best believe that this boy would always bring you souvenirs back. The boys would also absolutely adore you, so they would always be more than happy to have you tag along. Taking pictures is #1 on your priority list when you’re traveling, and after you would get home from the trip, you and Johnny would make a little scrapbook of all the pictures. You would also keep track of the best places/entertainment spots you’d visit so you could go there again if you traveled there again. Lastly, PDA wise, Johnny would always have you wrapped around him. You’d be like his teddy bear, and you would fit around him perfectly, and he also loves to rest his chin on the top of your head. 

WayV: Kun 

This is my first WayV ship+write for WayV ever, I am so excited! So, much like Jimin and Johnny, I want you to think about puppy love through this ship like I said, that’s the theme of this ship. You and Kun are two smiley babes ftw. Starting out, Kun would be a little intimidated by you at first. When he took that first look at you, you were this beautiful, powerful woman and he would be shy- but this boy has two hands. Kun is more than qualified to told a powerful woman like you in his hands. Music would be the center of your relationship. There would be so much bonding between you two when it came to music. I can not even imagine how many all nighters you and Kun would have spent in a music studio. Whether you would be listening to music, studying different types of music, or even making music, music is everything. Those three am nights are always the most memorable as well since you can remember the nights when you two were basically delirious from exhaustion and you would be the cutest little pups giggling over something silly, wrapped up in a blanket together. There would be a couch in the studio where you two would snuggle and you two would keep a stack of pillows and blankets beside the couch in preparation for a long night. Some great take out and a microwave for reheating is also the cherry on top for the perfect all nightery by the way. There would also be nights where some of the WayV members would tag along with you two, and it’d be like a huge sleepover because the boys would litter the floor with their bodies, some of them even sleeping in the recording box. Also, just in general, the studio would be the place where you two would go to relax at. You two would lay together, eyes closed in the quiet, having much needed healing time when your weeks would get stressful. Moving along, but keeping the music theme, you and Kun would collab a lot. You would LOVE to make choreography for Kun’s music, and tbh, this bub would light up like an absolute Christmas tree. He’d think it would be so sweet. And, if a song was too slow, it’d be a fun project for you two to do and remix the song so you could make choreo to it- you geniuses. Also, I can not forget about the Kun and the WayV members wanting to teach you the choreo to their songs. That would also be a fun time. And once in a bull moon, I can see you getting the chance to help make some choreo for WayV for comebacks! Lastly, I feel like Kun would have reserved PDA. You’re promised to a good man,but not much of a man. Secretly your hear beats for bad boy, biker Peter Parker. He’s been hounding you for a date, a ride on his motorcycle, for one word; yes. You keep turning him down, because if your daddy finds out about Peter, he’ll kill the both of you. But Peter isn’t backing down that easy. He knows what you want and he’ll get that yes.

You hurry down the hall, pushing your bag up your shoulder as you jog through the students. You were avoiding Jesse, in hopes he didn’t stop you. You were dying to see Peter again; the continuous texting was beginning to be what you lived for. You were sneaking in texts in the middle of class, and you even broke down and called him at lunch.

You’d pulled off your cardigan, you’d worn over your tank top, flowy, pale pink sundress. Your little white vans squeak under you as you hurry around the corner and towards the door. Your dress rustled around your thighs as you come to a stop outside. You spin on the balls of your feet, disappointment crushing your chest when you find the parking lot empty of Peter’s bike.

You sigh, your shoulders slumping as you realize he wasn’t there. You grip your bag, digging the toe of your sneaker into the sidewalk. You yelp with excitement as greedy hands wrap around your waist and lift you off your feet. Your back to his chest he hurries around the backside of the school, with you along for the ride. Your back goes up against the brick wall of the school, Peter leans in his lips brush along the exposed skin of your shoulder and neck.

“I thought you weren’t coming.” You pant slightly, out of breathe from excitement and the mild disappointment you’d felt. Peter pulls back, smirking at you, his mouth inches from yours, he brushes his nose against yours.

“So even though you have a boyfriend, me not showing up, still upset you?” He lifts a brow. You clear your throat.

“I wasn’t upset.” You lie. Peter breaks into the wolfish grin he gets.

“You’re an adorable bad liar, Darlin’.” He chuckles. You sigh, rolling your eyes. You give his chest a slight shove.

“You’re right. I do have a boyfriend. Off.” You nudge his chest again. His knee pushes between your thighs, his hips pin your own, and with the lightest touch his thigh brushes between your legs, your dress resting against his jeans. Your eyes fall closed, as they attempt to roll back in pleasure and anticipation.

“I think you’re right,” your eyes snap open, right about what? “you might not be a nice girl.” He chuckles you can feel it vibrate it through you as he brushes his mouth softly along your jaw. “I think there’s naughty in you. That you want to be bad with me.” You swallow, trying to focus.

“You think so?” Your voice was ragged and breathless.

“I’d bet my lungs on it. I might be a bad boy, but I’d keep you safe.” He places a soft kiss on your shoulder. “Do anything you want. Fuck Darlin’,” he groans and warmth bursts in your belly “you don’t see it, but you hold the power. I’m at your fucking mercy.” You could feel his grin between the two of you.

“Peter.” Your voice was less pant, more whimper.

“Tell me what you’re thinking.” He tips his head watching you, so close you could feel his breathe on your jaw.

“I’m thinking,” you lick your lips trying to focus “it’s really hard to think straight when you’re pressed up against me like this.” You let out a breathy laugh. His lips pull up into a smug little grin.

“Only girl in the world I have the patience of a fucking saint for, all the self control and none at the same time.”

“That so?” You wanted to believe it all.

“Come to the fights tonight. Let me see you outside here and the diner.” He pleads against your neck.

“Would you let me go on my own?” Your hands slip under his kutte, moving over his cotton T-shirt. His head pulls back, looking at you.

“No.” He stares at you for a second. “You could go anywhere with me or Howie.” He adds.

“I don’t need a sitter.” You tip your head.

“Darlin’, it’s not a clean crowd. Something could happen to you. I just told you I would keep you safe.” He sighs.

“So now I have to worry about you?” You cock your brow at him.

“Nah, I can handle it.” He winks at you. He goes back to teasing your neck.

“Yeah?” Your voice heavy with a dreamy sigh.

“As long as you’re around,” his hands slip from your ribs to your hips, still pinned to the brick wall with his own “I’ll be here. Watching, waiting, pleading, teasing.” He whispers against your skin, before pressing a soft kiss on your naked shoulder. “I’d preform any trick you asked, to hear you say yes.” He sighs.

“What am I saying yes too?” You smirk.

“Everything.” He answers instantly against your ear. He pulls back, pinning you with a look. “Yes, you’ll come tonight.” He brushes his nose against your own. “Yes, to me keeping you.” He breathes against your mouth. “Yes, to you keeping me.” His mouth hovered over your own.

“Peter,” you swallow “it’s not that easy.” Your body and heart screamed yes.

“I’ll be whatever you need. I’ll be the man your daddy wants for you. I’ll take care of you, love you every day, make you laugh, give you a family. Be the man of your dreams.” Your mind spun at his words.

“Fuck Peter.” You groan.

“Y/N?” Your eyes sink closed as Peter growls in your ear.

“The fuck? Why does he say your name like that? I find a man on you, like this, that includes Jesse Flounder, I won’t stand there watching, like a pussy.” You could practically hear his jaw clenching.

“What would you do?” You were breathless and curious. His eyes snap to your face, they were deep brown and scary serious.

“Smash his fucking head into the bricks.” His tone matter of fact like.

“You’re not like most guys.” Your head tips slightly.

“Nope. Not fucking close. You want me, foul mouthed, rough around the edges, bad boy biker, with enough passion to singe your hair. Come to me tonight, come to the fights.” He nods.

“Peter-” Jesse had clearly found some bravery, he never had before.

“Y/N!” He grabs your wrist, yanking you from between Peter and the school wall. You trip over your bag, stumbling into Jesse, with a nice solid bump into your bruised hip.

“Ow.” You wince.

“Get off her, low life.” Jesse sneers.

Oh fuck, Jesse was about to get his head smashed in.

Jesse makes the attempt to push you behind him, you were struggling back. Trying to step in front of the loaded gun that was Peter Parker. Peter’s hand shot out, grabbing Jesse by the neck. He moved Jesse with ease, without so much as bumping you, slamming him into the brick wall. Peter’s tattooed forearm comes down on Jesse’s throat as his hand moves away.

“If you ever grab her, you ever touch her again. I’ll break your arms so bad you won’t have the use of your hands again.” Peter warns him.

“Get off me.” Jesse’ voice was a harsh whisper due to the crushed throat. Peter leans in, his voice so cold it made you shiver in the afternoon sunshine.

“She’s not yours Folts. She’s mine. You’re just holding on to her for me. Safekeeping and all that. Make no mistake Flounder, she’s not yours. She will never be yours, dick bag.” Peter’s dark eyes shift to you, anger burned in them, making you swallow hard.

“Did he hurt you?” He stares at you.

You shake your head.

“He didn’t hurt you?” He asks again.

“No.” You squeak.

“You said ow, Darlin’.” His jaw ticks.

“I bumped my hip into him, tripping over my bag.” You explain quickly.

“He didn’t bruise you, grabbing you like that?” Peter doesn’t break eye contact.

You were sure there would be a bruise, but for Jesse’ sake you kept that to yourself.

“No.” You swallow. Peter turns back to Jesse still pinned to the wall.

“You don’t get another warning. You’re already done. Don’t touch her again, fucker.” He growls, giving Jesse a good shove harder into the wall. He turns, smirking at you, he grabs your bag. Len is quite fond of Jim’s eyes…and his ass. He thinks Jim has a nice ass. Jim’s toned body is a nice bonus as well.

Jim, much to Len’s surprise, likes the little bit of squish that Len has on his stomach. He’s a bit of a fan of the scruff that Len grows sometimes when they’re on leave. And, like Len for him, Jim likes Len’s eyes.

Technically, they do. Len has Joanna, though she lives with Len’s sister. If they were not fully dedicated to their careers and were not living on a starship, they would likely have kids together. Len always wanted kids and, for Jim, it wasn’t until Joanna came into his life that he really considered being a parent to someone. So, they’re happy either way.

Casual most of the time. On the rare occasion they will go out somewhere nice, but a dinner or lunch at a diner or a night in watching movies or one of them cooking a nice dinner for the two of them are all very common.

Jim to Len: “You are my grumpy boyfriend/fiancé/husband. (and I love you)”

F = Feelings when did they know they were falling in love?

Jim knew when he started thinking about Len more and not just in the “my best friend” way (before they were dating). Then (after they started dating) it was when he realized that he was the happiest he’d been with a partner ever.

Len knew after he was in too deep. It was a situation of the two of them sitting together talking and laughing and Len just looked at Jim and it hit him like a ton of bricks. Scared the hell out of him. As he processed it more, he realized that Jim made him happier with a partner than he had been in a long time.

G = Gentle are they gentle? If so, how?

Absolutely. If one of them is upset, the other will comfort them in the best way they can. Jim’s a bit like a cat sometimes in the sense he likes when someone “pets” him (aka, he likes when someone plays with his hair), so Len is gentle when he does that. (To be honest, I’m not 100% sure how to answer this question. I’m not really sure what exactly it’s asking.)

H = Hand/Hold how do they like to hold? how do they like to hold hands?

The normal way? Like it depends on the situation as to if they have their fingers interlaced or not.

Len’s of Jim: “There’s something up with this kid. He looks like he got in a fight.”

Jim’s of Len: “This guy is fucking crazy. Who joins Starfleet if they have aviophobia?”

J = Joker are they into pulling pranks?

Jim kinda is, and he’ll pull the really minor pranks (I’m talking like the stupid, cheesy pranks) or mess with Len on the rare occasion. However, Len isn’t really a fan of pranks. He’s not one to play them and he’s not really a fan of being on the receiving end of them.

K = Kisses how do they kiss?

Like hand holding, the normal way? It depends on the situation. It can range from a quick peck on the cheek to hot and heavy making out.

L = Little things what little things do they love/notice?

Jim loves when Len makes pancakes, the little bit of squish on Len’s stomach, Len’s sense of humor, how great a dad Len is, how caring Len is.

Len loves how excited Jim gets about things, how interested Jim is in everything, the fact Jim actually remembers the most random dates (like their first date, their anniversary, Len’s mama’s birthday, Len’s dad’s birthday even though Jim never met David, etc), how much Jim genuinely loves Joanna and that Jim thought the fact he loves Jo is the most obvious thing. (In other words, Jim never thought twice about loving her. It just made sense. She’s Len’s daughter. He loves Len and by extension, he loves her.)

M = Memory their favorite moment together

I don’t think they have only one. They’re both fond of the memory of the first time Jim met Len’s family in person as Len’s boyfriend. After they get married, that’s one of their favorite memories together.

N = Nickel do they spoil? do they buy the person they love everything?

No, not really. Like, Jim’s more inclined toward the “I saw this at the store and thought of you so I bought it” but it is something they both do. When they buy each other gifts, they tend to buy very nice things.

O = Orange what color reminds them of their other half

Blue reminds Len of Jim, for the obvious reason of that being Jim’s eye color. Green reminds Jim of Len because that’s Len’s favorite color.

P = Petnames what petnames do they use?

They both use sweetheart. Jim calls Len “babe”, and once called him “baby” before Len asked him to never call him that again because it reminds him of his ex. He also obviously calls Len “Bones.” Jim will occasionally start using the super sappy and obnoxious pet names has a joke. Len alternates between “sugar” and “darlin’” for Jim, but it’s usually “sugar”. Len is also one of the very few people who Jim allows to call him “Jimmy”.

Q = Questions what are the questions they’re always asking?

The normal ones? Like “How was your day?” and “What do you want for dinner?”

Len often asks “why?” and “how?” a lot in regards to Jim. For example, “why did you think doing that on the mission was a good idea? You have just landed yourself in medbay for a few hours.” And “How did you rip your shirt again?”

R = Remember their favorite memory of each other

Um…Probably the same as their favorite moment together.

S = Sad how do they cheer themselves/each other up

Len cheers Jim up by holding and cuddling him and playing with his hair. If/When Jim wants to talk about what’s upsetting him, Len’s there to listen.

Jim cheers Len up by letting him have his silence and space. Jim’s never too far away and is ready to listen when Len’s ready to talk.

T = Talking what do they love to talk about?

I’ll preface it by saying, they talk about a lot of things but not all of them make the “favorites” category of topics. They love talking about Joanna and the rest of their families, things they’ve read recently, exciting things that have happened, etc.

U = Universe use a metaphor, what are they to each other? (e.g he was the universe, ever-changing and mysterious)

The only thing I can come up with is that they’re each other’s lobster (cause FRIENDS reference ftw…and I think I suck at coming up with metaphors for this stuff)

V = Very ___ they’re thoughts about each other (e.g she’s very smart, he’s very stubborn, they’re very annoying etc.)

Len thinks Jim is intelligent, impulsive, stubborn (and a little annoying at times).

Jim thinks Len is caring, smart, and patient (and a little grumpy sometimes).

W = Why reasons why they love each other

Specific reasons is a very long list. Overall, it’s that they’re best friends. That is the basis of their relationship. They’re there for each other through the shitty times and the amazing times.
