Finally finished ALL the projects and everything for this semester (aka my final year of HS).

Got my pre boards starting tomorrow.

Tomorrow is Chemistry.

And I'm 100% sure I'm going to fail.

Surprise lol I'm not an A grade student at least not anymore like that's why I created this blog to get back on my tracks.

Unfortunately, I also didn't manage to finish the book that I was reading.

I was actually watching true crime documentaries and as well listening to true crime podcasts along with completing the remaining projects.

I might be gone till Sat since that's why my pre boards are finishing. From Sat, we gonna GRIND!!!

Went to a stationary store today, got a cute pink pen for just ₹10/- (a steal, right?). Funny enough, it got me a bit motivated, so I finally managed to kick off my studies (starting with genetics). :p

Also grabbed some snacks, haha. Just restocking the essentials.

My biology exam went well; I obviously need to work harder, but it was still better than chemistry, lol.

My performance in the Phy. Ed. pre-board exam was wonderful. Although my preparation started the day before, I still managed to excel. Regrettably, I encountered difficulty with a singular question—a case-based study from the CWSN chapter—due to my decision to bypass it initially (an oversight that subsequently posed a challenge).

Tomorrow, I will be having my final pre-board exam; Physics, and I find myself genuinely overwhelmed. Regrettably, I lack a solid understanding of the fundamentals of Physics, and my poor brain seems reluctant to assimilate any pertinent knowledge or concepts. The complexities appear to elude me, rendering the learning process quite challenging.

I regret to admit that I am honestly mentally prepared for the possibility of failure tomorrow. 𓉸

I washed my hair yesterday in the late evening (Temp: 7°C) and my hair is absolutely hairing, you know. It's slaying haha and I am just absolutely loving my hair <3.

On the downside, in addition to my brain not working properly, I am also feeling sick; a stomach ache and nausea. The cold weather, with today's temperature at 6°C and fog, is exacerbating my condition, and I feel like I'm freezing. Nonetheless, Winters >>> Summers!

I had my English pre-board exam today and I can't believe I'm saying this, but it was tough. I barely managed to finish in time and had to compromise on a 5-marks answer! I gotta solve English sample papers and learn to finish in time.

Tomorrow, I have Biology and I'm kind of nervous. I know for a matter of fact that it's going to be though lol.

I revised complete zoology today along with Sexual Reproduction in Flowering Plants. I'll revise the rest of the Botany (Microbes in Human Welfare and Ecology Unit) tomorrow early morning.

As for Genetics, I actually haven't studied it yet. I've only finished half of ch 4 and haven't even touched ch 5. I'll just read through some short notes tomorrow early morning.

Honestly I really enjoyed today's exam since I absolutely love Literature. I really like the type of questions that are asked; they don't refer to some incident in the story (rare) but instead ask questions based on the theme of the story and what YOUR views are regarding it. Hence, I really enjoy the English exam haha!

I'm honestly confident about my Biology exam even though I haven't studied Genetics lol.

Reason for running this blog and a short story of my academic downfall.

•The primary motivation behind starting this blog is my way of dealing with a rough patch in my academics. I used to be an A-grade student until 8th grade, but then COVID hit, and I made some not-so-great choices. I pretty much skipped 9th grade, regretting it later. Despite a close call in 10th grade, salvaging an above 80% score in the board exams, the subsequent year, 11th grade, witnessed a further decline with a 65% result—a percentile mirrored by a significant proportion of students, with only a marginal 2% achieving scores surpassing 70%.

•Now, in 12th grade, things aren't looking much better. I enjoy studying, especially Biology, and I can handle Chemistry okay-ish. However, Physics is a whole different story. I don't hate the subject, but the numerical part is my kryptonite. I like the theory part, but when it comes to calculations, I'm lost. To sum it up, my Bio is decent, Chem is okay, and Physics is a struggle – might even fail if I don't do something about it soon.

•In summary, my academic profile manifests as a mixed bag. Biology stands as a bastion of relative strength, Chemistry occupies a middling ground with potential for improvement, while Physics, languishing in the abyss, demands urgent attention to avert a potential failure.

•This blog will be my space to share this academic rollercoaster, figure out what went wrong, and hopefully get some advice from others who've been through it.

For English internal marks (20 marks), we got this 10 mark 'project' to do and ASL for the remaining 10 marks. The ASL has already been completed; now, we only have this project remaining.

For the mentioned project, we're required to purchase an accounts notebook (as shown in the above picture) and do the grammar/writing work (which includes notice writing, invitation writing, report writing, article writing, and so on).
