when leshy first begins the game, he is very gentle with who he presumes is kaycee. "perhaps you have forgotten how this game is played"

he's not mad at her for leaving or mad at her for not saying goodbye. he's kindly explaining the rules back to her because he's more eager to play and to see her than the fact she's been gone for years and years.

i was writing her and the thought suddenly occurred to me. you'll be able to read the fic soon <3

after all the wording of his introduction is curious, even though he calls you a 'new' challenger he specifically says you might have 'forgotten' how the game is played and he wants to 'remind' you, implying you've played with him before.. and of course he's only ever played with one other person up until that point...

he's just so happy to see her again, or was at least hopeful it was her 😭😭

last post ended up deleting my tags so im continuing them here
