WIP Wednesday 16 Sep 2020

Chapter 15 of It All Started With) A Night at the Nat (aka WinterIron/WinterHawk/WinterIronHawk Supernatural AU with werewolf!Bucky and fae!Tony & Clint) is paused for the moment  - I've done nothing (other than working out the grand finale WinterIronHawk smut  in my head) The way things are going, I doubt I'll get it done before the end of the month, as other more time- restricted projects are bouncing around in my brain.  Current Last Line: n/a

Part 1 of the @starkbucksbingo   Multiverse Shenanigans square  Quantum Leap-ish fic is still  sitting at 940  words with maybe another 200-400 to finish it off.  I'm combining it with an adopted TSB flash fill - Meeting Alternate Universe Counterparts  to give myself a deadline.  FYI: I will definitely need some help with the various 'verses I am planning on having them visit on subsequent parts:  (Avengers Academy,  Avengers Assemble, Earth 616, Marvel 1872, Noir  Marvel) -- so if you have expertise in any of these and are willing to help with plot ideas, please let me know! Current Last Line:  “So, why’d you bring me here?”

I'm shooting to get another blackout for the September @tonystarkbingo Flash bingo #023 card - the tricky part is going to be finding the time to write it all!

Friday square - as mentioned above, this is being replaced with Meeting Alternate Universe Counterparts

Epilogue square:  Combining  it with my @starkbucksbingo square  Kill List/Hit List which I'm also using for my Winter's Snowflakes fanart fic challenge (several Discorders are writing a fic based on the same pic).  After a successful mission  (Dec 16, 1991) - the Soldier is given the assignment to bring the Stark heir to Hydra any way he can. If it runs into multiple chapters (as it's likely to do, given that it's me writing this) - I might throw a Whumptober prompt or two into the mix. This is coming along nicely at 830 words. Current Last Line: “What are you,  my—“ Tony cut himself off mid-sentence, his face crumpling. 

Touch square:  Started working on a sequel  from Tri (Tri) Again with  Tony and Eddie|Venom getting up to some more smutty shenanigans.  It's currently at 841 words and they're just now getting around to talking about the smut stuff. Current Last Line: But now, well ... V’s the best thing that ever happened to me.”

Insomnia square:  Combining with my @buckybarnesbingo Insomnia square and another @rebelmeg Sleepy/Cozy prompt: "Carry me to bed?"   It's a new pairing for me: WinterPepperony - (technically established Pepperony with Pepper angling to get Bucky into the mix).  It's pretty much finished at 760 words and will probably be published on Friday.   Current Last Line: He grinned and swept her up in his arms. “Whatever you say, boss-lady.” 

Decision at Sundown (IronHusbands Western AU with mistaken identity smut) is still languishing at the moment. I know the basics of where Chapter 3 will go (Rhodey meeting Tony at Miss Carol’s and mistaking him for an employee), but haven’t gotten any words down on paper yet. I could really use an encouraging nudge on this one, BTW….

Eventually, I’m going to take look at all the published WIPs I have out there and figure out which ones I still have a spark for and which ones to call it quits on. :^/

Wanna hear an idea about overprotective Spider!Dad Tony AU where Peter accidentally gains another mentor in Eddie Brock and strange uncle Venom? :X Eddie and Tony are both disasters who don't understand how they're now parenting a spider kid. Aunt May is probably just done with all of them and exchanging recipes with Venom (though she learned already to ignore his preferences for under done meat).

Hah I’d absolutely love to hear more! I do ship StarkSymBrock even if I haven’t written anything about it yet and I adore irondad with my entire soul! 

May’s nephew sticks to the ceiling, giant goo monsters are the least of her problems lets be real.

Just saw ur post for fth would you be okay with poly ships? You have both Symbrock and WinterIron, would you be amenable to wintersymbrock? I wasn’t sure if your ship only post applied to just the characters or actually only limiting to 2 people

I would be okay with WinterSymbrock or StarkSymbrock, (or all four) as well - or Dr.SymbrockAnne. I have written poly ships before and they’re fun!

WIP Wednesday 14 Oct  2020

Continuing to work on   It All Started With) A Night at the Nat (aka WinterIron/WinterHawk/WinterIronHawk Supernatural AU with werewolf!Bucky and fae!Tony & Clint)!  Chapter 15 is up to  1855 words and our boys are about halfway through their threesome scene.  Current Last Line: “There we go,” Tony crooned, running his hand through Clint’s hair.  

I'm planning on posting Part 1 of my WinterIron Quantum Leap-ish fic on Friday or Saturday: Mirror Images (Not Quite His Own). It's sitting at  2622 words and will fill both my @starkbucksbingo   Multiverse Shenanigans square  and the Mad Science square of my new @tonystarkbingo card.   FYI: I will definitely need some help with the various 'verses I am planning on having them visit in subsequent parts of this series  (Avengers Academy,  Avengers Assemble, Earth 616, Marvel 1872, Noir  Marvel) -- so if you have expertise in any of these and are willing to help with plot ideas, please let me know! Here's some possible squares/'verse matches I'm considering: TSB T2 - Old Married Couple - Avengers Assemble (Steve & Tony) TSB S2 - Ridiculous Amounts of Tech -  ???   TSB S1 - Hot Water -  1872 or Noir?   SBB O4 - Future - ??   SBB  I1 - Alien Planet -  ??

I've also started a sequel/continuation of Fated to Telling Only Lies (young!Tony with the Soldier as his bodyguard, with Bucky slowly surfacing/taking control) This is sitting at  632 words and might squish into my  Didn't Know They Were Dating  @starkbucksbingo square or possibly Resolve  @tonystarkbingo square  (or both!)   Current Last Line:  He focused on the technology aspects of his prosthetic, as those were sure to catch Tony’s interest. 

The eventually smutty sequel for    Tri (Tri) Again   with  Tony and Eddie|Venom (sitting at 851 words ) is probably going to fill my @tonystarkbingo WTF square.... :^D Current Last Line: "But now, well ... V’s the best thing that ever happened to me.”  

Speaking of smutty, I have an idea for a Pepperony fic based on my  @pepperonybingo square NSFW: Mutual Masturbation and a prompt courtesy of @rebelmeg: “Should I go first or ... do you want to go?”   This is barely started, at 64 words, but it is started... :^D   Current Last Line:  She was playing the role of PA admirably during Pepper’s two-week visit to the Australian SI headquarters, juggling a jam-packed schedule that included visits to far-flung sites as well as innumerable meetings with vendor reps as well as SI executives. 

I'm also poking at something for my @tonystarkbingo Writing Format: Outsider POV square featuring Maria Hill and her thoughts on Tony and Steve (tho I haven't decided if it will go Stony or not).  It’s also barely started at  122 words.  Current Last Line:    “To be honest, I thought she got the job because she was Captain America’s girl, but boy, did she prove me wrong!”

I still want to take a look at all the published WIPs I have out there --  including Decision at Sundown (IronHusbands Western AU with mistaken identity smut) -- and figure out which ones I still have a spark for and which ones to call it quits on. :^/  Encouraging nudges would be appreciated.

On other creative fronts, I am working on an Agent Carter figure - aka Peggy in her  blue suit and red hat.   She's turning out really well - I'll be sharing photos shortly! Organizing this by bingo cards - since 99% of what I’ve been writing is for these bingos.

Pepperony Bingo (wraps up 1 Dec 2020)

* NSFW: Mutual Masturbation  - I was inspired to finish up this smutty @pepperonybingo fic  which also ties into a prompt: from @rebelmeg    “Should I go first or ... do you want to go?”  and fills  my @tonystarkbingo  Ridiculous Amounts of Tech square. First draft comes in at 1056 words and will post Friday.  

Bucky Barnes Bingo (wraps up 31 Dec 2020)

I can get a Row 3 bingo with the following squares:  Strength Kink, Free Square and Steve/Bucky -- or the U column with Soul Mate and  AU: a/b/o

* Steve/Bucky -  I have a fun fancraft idea that would fill this, along with the TSB Captain America square  and free square on the Stark Bucks bingo -- plus be surprise fanart for one of my mutuals!  

* Free Square  Completed  & posted Two Arrows, One Target - a smutty follow-on from (It All Started With) A Night at the Nat (aka WinterIronHawk supernatural AU)   It also filled my @winterhawkbingo - Little Shit Bucky Barnes and @tonystarkbingo Tony/Clint square.  

* Strength Kink - I have an idea rolling around to combine this with my @winterhawkbingo Stuck in an Elevator prompt for some predicament bondage/post-battle sexytimes, but have nothing on paper yet.*

* KINK: Pornstar/RentBoy/Sexworker - this won't help with a bingo, but I have an idea for this ( Camboy!Bucky with Steve & Tony as his two favorite customers) that will also cover my @stb-bingo   Camboy square and possibly TSB KINK: Sex Complusion. square as a follow-up  

StarkBucks Bingo (wraps up  31 Dec 2020)

I need to fill one more corner and the Free square  for a 4-corner bingo.  

* Rescue Mission – planning to fill this with one of the following: –  next installment of Mirror Images (Not Quite His Own) [aka Quantum Leap-ish WinterIron multiverse shenanigans)   in the  Avengers Assemble cartoon universe  (paging any AA fans who want to brainstorm with me!) – sequel/follow on  to Fated to Telling Only Lies (young!Tony with the Soldier masquerading as his bodyguard, with Bucky slowly surfacing/taking control) - I'm leaning toward using the second installment (sitting at 907 words) as the fill after all, with a potential third segment coming when/if I have time & inspiration (I already have a title) Current Last Line:  “He’s not just a robot,” Tony interrupted.  “Dum-E’s cutting-edge learning algorithms give him a high degree of autonomous control.  

* Free Square:   see fancraft idea above  

Tony Stark Bingo (Wraps up 10 April 2020)

Seven squares filled with no more than 2 in a row - but I’ve got time :^)

* KINK: Sex Compulsion, -- have a draft of a drabble for this, but am still tinkering -- it's a challenge to get everything into just 100 words!   That said,  I may ditch this idea for the Camboy!Bucky idea above.

* Captain America/Steve Rogers -- see fancraft idea above

* WTF -   an eventually smutty sequel for    Try (Tri) Again  with  Tony and Eddie|Venom  - currently at a standstill at 851 words

* Writing Format: Outsider POV - Poking at something for this featuring Maria Hill and her thoughts on Tony and Steve (tho I haven’t decided if it will go Stony or not).  It’s also barely started at  122 words.

The stars aligned and I made a nice bit of  progress on It All Started With) A Night at the Nat (aka WinterIron/WinterHawk/WinterIronHawk Supernatural AU with werewolf!Bucky and fae!Tony & Clint)!  Chapter 15 is already at 1413 words and the smut is just getting started. Current Last Line: “Tap twice when you need to come up for air, “ Tony instructed, “and moving your hands away is the same as safewording."  

Part 1 of the @starkbucksbingo   Multiverse Shenanigans square  Quantum Leap-ish fic is still  in play -  it's sitting at 2551 words, but am holding on to it to see if I can squish it into my Mark IV TSB card  (coming on or just after 10 Oct!!) Current Last Line:  James stepped in front of Tony, wrapping an arm protectively around him. “Hold on, sweetheart.”  And they were gone. FYI: I will definitely need some help with the various 'verses I am planning on having them visit on subsequent parts:  (Avengers Academy,  Avengers Assemble, Earth 616, Marvel 1872, Noir  Marvel) -- so if you have expertise in any of these and are willing to help with plot ideas, please let me know!

It All Started With) A Night at the Nat (aka WinterIron/ WinterHawk/ WinterIronHawk Supernatural AU with werewolf!Bucky and fae!Tony & Clint) is paused for the moment - I've been  working out the grand finale WinterIronHawk smut  in my head, but no words on paper yet. Maybe in time for Halloween? Current Last Line: n/a

I did get a  blackout on my September Flash @tonystarkbingo card, but only by pulling two quickie pieces out of my butt, since the longer fics I had planned for those squares were being difficult.  Masterpost link.

I've got 3 fics in the works for the  September @tonystarkbingo Flash bingo:   

War Machine square: This ficlet  is pretty much done [352 words] - ready for a final polish before posting, probably on Friday. It's an introspective Rhodey POV piece set during the A:AoU  party.
