The Sith have been stockpiling warehouses upon warehouses of bananas (on separatist planets) in preparation of bribing the minions to turn on their evil masters.

There are no bananas on the market right now.

So imagine if part of the war efforts for the Jedi is just capturing Separatist planets to get the bananas for their minion armies? That's certainly one way to really motivate the minions.
