If you are driving a car(whatever brand it is), it doesn't interfere with your faith so similarly #yoga doesn't interfere your faith. Connect the dots and it's "Om", I meditated couple days back, washed my rudraksh mala, then placed it all rolled up on a paper to dry. These are imprints of the color pigment of mala, which strangely resembles "Om". We do witness little miracles every now and then on a path of divine spirituality. Yoga means yug. Yug -- union of body and mind. Yoga brings union of body and mind. How do u experience this ??? What is Yoga ??
 The knowledge of yoga to make human life happy so that ppl can lead happy and healthy life, the knowledge of merging with God and becoming enlightened.
Mostly ppl look at yoga as a form of exercise, for developing flexibility --- asanas -- putting the postures right, there is stiffness -- i do yoga and will be alright. correction at the body level.
Yoga is much deeper than that, way beyond that. What is the difference between yoga and exercise ??
Exercise -- Running, gym,  vs YOGA
What is the basic difference between Looks similar but different ?
Exercise -- has aim -- 20/20 - 3 sets - WEIGHT Loss-- building muscle --- Exercise is result oriented..
Yoga is process oriented... --- Focus full focus on the asanas , not the result --- very important difference.Exercise is result oriented and yoga is process oriented. Exercise u feel fresh n tired as well as u burn energy. In Yoga u conserve energy ,.. at the end of a yoga session, you have more energy than you started… Yoga is a very powerful source of energy as we do with the power of breath.. Exercise --- more faster breathing, it is itself stress
Yoga is all about relaxation. Initially the level of the body slowly in the relaxation of mind. For exercise, you need some equipment but yoga. All you need is a yoga mat...
I am too yoga, Yoga is for old people... PPl feels yoga is boring, it is very slow. Yoga can be very interesting in all the ages. When u r taking breath, u can do yoga. You can practice yoga to  improve your health and mind and  practice and enjoy the benefits of yoga.
Yoga chitta vritti Nirodha
Yoga is something which puts a stop to the tendencies of our mind.  mann ko nature --- puts break to the mind vrittis -- mind is always running.
continuously past // future  --- regret .// planning  ---- worry fear -----imagination // daydreaming ----- anger .// anxiety ------- thinking what ppl will think about me.
Yoga puts the stop to the tendencies of this mind and brings the mind to the present moment. Where is life ? Where is joy ? Where is happiness ? It is in the present moment. 
Where is stress ?? past future ?? So yoga brings mind to now.. experiencing happiness and peace.. That is the definition of yoga.. Mind is free from this .. has become still. has become quiet. then yoga is happening.  What is the purpose of Yoga ???
Heyam dukham Anagatam
It is very scientific. The famous philosophy "Prevention is better than cure."This statement comes from Yoga. Yoga Stops misery before it comes.. It prevents diseases / misery before it comes.. when it comes it is difficult to handle. The purpose of yoga is Prevention, prevention from stress, prevention from diseases and giving you health. In Sri sri yoga, we have four main components
1. Asanas  2. Pranayama  3. Dyana  4. Knowledge
Yoga is never complete without these four.  These sutras are very practical in modern times as well. What is Asana ??? Posture that is sthiram sukham asanam ...What is asana ? is stable and comfortable. after years of practice, 
In asana i) The starting position II) going to that asana III) holding in that asana  iv) coming out.   When we follow this steps, asanas become stable and comfortable U will never have pain or stiffness or injuries or exercise injuries.
 How to master the asanas ??? Put effort and then relaxation. Body becomes more flexible .Why do we do asanas ?
Immediate benefit -- more flexibility, stiffness gets resolved, pain gets removed and a restless body gets stabilized and focused...
Long term benefit OF practising asanas -- Body level --- we struggle between pain n pleasure, thirst n hunger ----We become so strong in body , body level . When we practise asanas, u become so strong in body, in body level, u can take discomfort, we can take discomfort from inner level, it's the strength --- In the mind level-- we do only what we like --- preparing our mind to accept any situation and people--- we can stay with people whom we like and don't like....When we practise asanas, Mind becomes centered n strong to take both bad n uncomfortable n good n comfortable. It can make u centered between both the opposite of life in both body n mind. Asanas can do it for us provided we do correctly.
Pranayama -- Pranayama help to increase our prana, our energy. When prana increases, our mind becomes positive, fresh, alert, non doubting, doubts go away. Doubts is the sign of low prana, energy, mind is fresh, non doubting, calm happy and the Long term effect of Pranayama--- it lifts up the whale of ignorance.We dont know who we are....i am husband, teacher but who i am ....Those are just of my roles. But who Am i.  It gives me experience of my deeper nature...i am much bigger as an experience ...
Regular pranayama can relieve u all the fear, even the fear of death, removes all fear , fear of loneliness, fear of insecurity, relationships, job, health, ppl are so anxious.. When ppl practice daily, anxiety will disappear, ppl will not be disturbed, it will not come, it will not touch u because from inside your energy surges, it goes up and fear is the emotion which is downward flowing and well being is the emotion which is upward flowing and pranayama surges your energy upwards, downward emotions dont come up. So, Yoga is incomplete without pranayama.
Meditation - The entire purpose of yoga yoga was designed, mudras, badhas, kriyas, aim at bringing our body to meditation, yoga is incomplete without meditation. dhyana  Every sri sri class ends with meditation. 
Knowledge - Why knowledge in Yoga ? Because these sutras yoga is about mind, having a cheerful calm mind, centered mind, focused mind. Knowledge gives direction to that unstable, restless mind towards stability otherwise mind will not go towards that. All these four are together, it makes yoga complete.
We will learn How to look at your body very closely
look every part systematically
give attention to the body parts n body responding to u and communicating with different body parts
U will also notice mind which is racing, racing racing becoming slowing down and comes to stillness.
Useful Health Tips ( how to breathe, how to eat, how to drink correctly, how to increase your lung capacity hence increase our energy).
