But then there's those father-son relationships that seem incredibly antagonistic and like they low-key hate each other, but they actually have a lot of love for each other and help each other out and force them to take care of themselves by insulting them ("Jesus Christ, you reek, go take a shower" and "When the hell is the last time you ate something other than that shit? I don't buy groceries for nothing") and are just - "look, I may not always act like it, but you are my dad/son and I'll do anything for you. You can go fuck yourself though."

demo and sniper: see, the difference between these two is that sniper just got him a generic beer but i think demo would find a really specific wine, and like dose calculations on wines medic already drinks to find the perfect new one (snipers usally too far away from any shop he can use and beer is always appreciated)

spy: cufflinks or masc perfume. its the expensive kind though so it smells weird but still nice.

engie: new tools that were ment for like construction but next week hes getting healed with them. so long as they get used hey?

pyro: lots of different plasters with like unicorns and hello kitty and superheros on them

soldier: lots of old comics that he found and a museum gift shop gift (think like a mount rushmore trinket)

scout: he panicked and brought socks with weenie dogs on them and is surprised when medic still like them (medic has that old man mindset where he goes buckwild for new socks)

miss pauling: a new sweater with a cow on it (he also gets ecstatic over new sweaters) and a new type of instant coffee

My parents are smokers so I suffer from second hand smoking so that makes me wonder if you smoke I know spy does but how about the others I would expect you and engi to hid somewhere and take a break from all the others...can we maybe see a picture of you and the others making s'mores over a open fire?

ah yes, we all know spy smokes a ridiculous amount. engineer and sniper smoke as well, although nowhere near as often as spy does. ive seen soldier with cigars from time to time, and demo will take a cigarette if one is offered to him. ive never known pyro to smoke but it would be a little difficult to do that through their mask wouldnt it? ive never seen heavy smoke either. and finally i have seen scout smoking a few times, i just hope the life-long habit doesnt run in the family. it is awful for your health after all

i could literally talk about mike’s s2 monologue for days. the way everything mike is saying is about the first day they met but applies to the exact exchange of ‘crazy together’. the way it’s one of the only scenes where there is no background, no props, no set in sight. it’s truly just the two of them, completely lost in each other to the point where everything LITERALLY fades away. the realization that crosses mike’s face as he finally recognizes that will is the best thing that’s ever happened to him, better than anything or anyone else. will being told that his existence alone has been the best part of mike’s life. it being the thing that makes will fight through the possession (you make her feel like she’s not a mistake at all, and that’s what gives her the courage to fight on). the half lighting on mike’s face that shows he’s hiding something even as everything he says is supported by canon, so there’s a piece missing that hasn’t been revealed to the audience that goes as far back as S2 because after this it becomes a lighting mike is under VERY often, but he barely has that lighting before then. THE REALIZATION. will’s face being perfectly lit, being the light in the darkness which is yet another trend that continues in S4.
