I love that Lestat just blatantly lies that him and Nicholas “went their separate ways”. Dude, when Louis tried to leave you brutalized him, are you seriously telling us you just let your first love walk away on good terms???
Naw, there is no leaving Lestat. Claudia knows this, and she seems to think he might’ve actually killed Nicholas. Which makes sense considering what he did to Louis when he tried to leave. But I also think he might’ve actually killed himself.
Just think about it for a min. Look at the state Louis is in by episode 6. He’s resigned himself to staying at Lestat’s side, probably has a severe form of PTSD from how he’s been treated, and seriously considers committing suicide shortly after Claudia leaves.
Nicholas didn’t have a Claudia. Imagine Nicholas trying to leave and Lestat attacks him. Lestat is contrite about his actions and tries to nurse him back to health. This goes on for a period of months until one day Nicholas gets up and walks out into the sun. Just imagine.

@dottirofthunder sent a letter [unprompted, always accepting!]
"Cousin, can I ride on your back?"
A bark of pure laughter as he laid down and made sure she’d be able to climb onto his back.
Come, cousin! I will be your battle steed!
Oh what fun! What fun! The giant wolf was far, far too happy and it showed in the energetic swish of his tail, how his ears PERKED, the gleam in his eyes. Maybe not all Asgardians were cruel, Thorsdottir was certainly a treat compared to the norm!

This CR campaign is really shaping up to be the Campaign of Story Decisions I Disagree With, huh.
Really don't know how to feel about this. I've been trying to pinpoint what rubs me the wrong way so much and I think I've pinned it down to a) the narrative forcing itself on the characters, and not in a good way, and b) disparate, but very valid interpretations being forcibly collapsed into The One True Story in a way that explicitly punishes alternative readings. Which... both of which, if this had been a fic, would make me click away. I know this is an ever-evolving emalgamation rather than, say, a cohesive novel, but semi-retconning a climax is a really really poor and jarring story choice, no matter what the original plan was.
Overall, I've been enjoying the side events a lot more than the main campaign, lately, which is good for the side events, but bad for the main story.

LMFAO actually you'd be surprised, back in my TVD days people legit just came out of the woodwork to give me spoilers.

Ok but if Roman ended up picking this card, I 100% believe Virgil would have made Roman listen to this version.

as we all revel in the many joyous delights of good omens 2, i'd just like to say a deeply personal and heartfelt fuck you fuck you fuck you to every single person who accused neil gaiman of queerbaiting over the last four years.
and then i'd like to wish you an extra special get kicked in the shins, because every time you said "queerbaiting" what you really meant was "nb and aspec doesn't really count as queer".
that's what you meant. you meant "gay is better". you meant "queer love only counts if they kiss". you meant "sure they might technically be ~nonbinary~, but they look like men, so they're really just men". you meant "i don't respect aspecs and i don't think they deserve representation".
so, from the bottom of my heart: fuck you.
