Reblogged this yesterday saying that they’ve been deleting comments on this post. But here’s some proof.

(Btw these ads are both in my feed right now because I didn’t close the app last night so when I checked it out today the only thing I did was bump my feed down lol)

The most obvious thing between these numbers is how the comment count from yesterday went down by 30 comments overnight. But it’s also interesting to note that the likes also went down. I have no idea what would motivate someone to take down likes, unless this is something that happened unintentionally as a byproduct of another process?

It’s worth noting that because I’ve seen this post multiple times over the past few days, that 2-3 days ago there were over 200 comments. They’ve deleted half that and more since then.

Regardless, like I said yesterday. Maybe instead of deleting/hiding comments, you should just turn off reblogs and comments. You are not only making more work for yourselves by leaving them on, you are also pissing people off because this ad is in everyone’s feed throughout the day, so of course they’re noticing that you’re deleting shit. Maybe reevaluate whether deleting comments is rly worth all this noise.

They deleted both of my comments too. Early today (about 15 hours ago) this post was over 2k notes and had 118 comments. Now the notes are below 2k and in the 100 comments range.

Idk if they’re deleting or blacklisting comments because I’m still able to comment, but the comment won’t count to the total # of comments. So this really makes me wonder just how bad the notes on this ad really are.

Maybe if the notes are that bad they should just turn off comments and reblogs instead of, I dunno, censoring people giving their input. But I’m also not the asshole who spend a questionable amount of money putting this bullshit in my feed 30+ times a day so
