I love how everybody keeps dunking on egwene and calling her a naive white tower sell out when there’s abundant evidence that she’s actually on rand’s side and it’s only rand’s paranoia about being manipulated driving him to push egwene away (like he does with all his allies in that era). yeah, she takes moiraine’s side a bunch but she’s entirely justified in doing so because moiraine has legitimate advice to offer. anyway, if there’s anybody who’s the least sold on the idea of the white tower being the pinnacle of perfectionism it’s egwene, and her conversations with siuan post-loc as well as her attempts to reform it are proof of that.
