Short instructions on how to watch "Dread" without causing yourself trauma for weeks (guide nobody asked for, but everyone needs):

Start the movie and immediately skip to 7:30, without watching the earlier scenes unless you enjoy watching axe chopping. Note: these scenes have nothing to do with the axe scene from the third series of Endeavour.

You can start watching from 7:30 if you'd like to get a rough idea of what the movie is about. If not, you can skip it.

At 10:10, pay close attention - back fetishists, get your cameras ready!

At 10:25, a sexy psychopath appears shirtless.

At 11:17, the sexy psychopath is now without pants.

At 13:44, there's an adult-only scene, in this scene, we won't see Quaid's face, and it's not because of the darkness in the room.

At 40:00, you'll find the only valuable dialogue in the movie, it was actually great.

Or, alternatively, trust issues!

They aren't around other people a lot because people are terrible and scary and best avoided!

Usually I'm all for not treating two characters as a one inseparable unit. I'm all for exploring them separately from each other or considering some interesting rare pair options for them.

But not with Madara. I love Madara very much but I'm sorry his canon obsession with Hashirama can't be ignored by me. I can't separate it from him. Their bond with Hashirama is completely something else. It's a very integral part of who Madara is.

He wants his attention even if it will be in a fight he wants everything Hashirama can give him. He'll recognize him in any situation. He'll be happy to see him even if the last time they have seen each other Hashirama killed him. He talked about uniting Ying and Yang and clearly meant Hashirama as Yang to his Ying. He ended up merging a part of Hashirama into himself in a most literal sense. He can't shut up about Hashirama when we see him as himself and not an impersonator (obito) or through other's memories.

#For me Madara and Hashirama is a package deal most of the time. #when I see that bond ignored it feels wrong and like it's not Madara at all #they are canonically soulmates #and Hashirama is beyond special no one else would get that level of attraction and fixation from madara #Hashirama is a very rare combination of a person who shared his ideas and vision ( even if they went different ways about it in the end) #and was equal to Madara or stronger than him #and that man does love to get his ass kicked #and doesn't like when it's him beating someone else's ass easily on the other hand as we can see from the manga #tbh only other ( very crack) pairing that I can somewhat consider for Madara is with Gai for that exact reason - he loved to fight him #madagai / gaimada ( ? does this dynamic exist?) is not my cup of tea but I definitely see where ot could come from and it looks fun #Madara liked to fight him #was real excited #and that's very important with him #idk where I'm even going with all of this #trying to write down my thoughts is like herding cats #maybe I'll write about it more later #hashimada #hsmd #hashimada thoughts #madara headcanons

Ruggie once came up with a plan to get infinite donuts via Trey.

He only knew three things:

- Trey is a great baker;

- He is always baking treats for Heartslabyul, ESPECIALLY Riddle;

- Riddle likes sweets.

So, the Hyena organized a joint study session between Savanaclaw and Heartslabyul, which is great already because they get Riddle's help (as well as unique magic to break up fights).

Also Leona's seasonal depression kicked in on top of his regular scheduled depression, so having the funny idiots of Heartslabyul and Ramshackle fooling around at least helps a bit. He is just watching the chaos unfold while helping with a few questions.

Back to Ruggie's plan, it's very simple! After studying, he uses Leona's credit card to order a ton of donuts. And everybody will like them because it's DONUTS, easy peasy, just wait for Trey to start baking due to popular demand.

It worked.

But now he and Savanaclaw are ready to kill for Riddle (he smiled, they didn't think he could even do that, also Ace was like "bet" and brought a few hedgehogs, which means only more happy Riddle, decorating the donuts to look like hedgehogs).

It was as if Kalim had temporarily possessed the housewarden. The rules of the Universe changed. It was Spectral Soiree all over again.
