Dear Sega:
You know what would be insanely cool for that open world Sonic game?
Secret chao gardens.
Do it, you utter cowards. Do you know how much re-playability it gives the games? I booted up Sonic Forces last night and played one stage and turned it off, remembering why I hadn’t touched it since it first came out and I got the Platinum Trophy.
Meanwhile I can and will play Sonic Adventure 2: Battle and Sonic Adventure DX again and again to take care of them cute little goo babies.
Give me more chao! It actually gives a purpose to collecting rings and tallying how many you got at the end of the stage. It’ll give us something to LOOK for in that vast world you created. Find animals or whatever in hidden places. Chao eggs. Fruit you can plant in the gardens. Yes.
DO THIS. DO IT PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF EVERY GOD.
