just saw someone say Rick Riordan making a TV show is just as bad as anything JKR has done. BFFR you're comparing Rick Riordan trying to make his world more inclusive, changing some parts because of money/time constraints, or just making changes cus he thinks they're needed, to JKR being a terrible person!

Does anyone else have a hard time taking Baela and Rhaena seriously on that show?

They have no personalities, they barely speak and are overall insignificant. They just stand there.

Wasn’t Baela supposed to have short cropped hair? Wasn’t she supposed to wear pants and act all boyish?

Why is she wearing dresses, acting all proper and her hair is all long? Is there some kind of rule that black women on screen can’t be boyish? Am I missing something?

Instead of catering to “political correctness” and “imposed diversity”, they could have made the effort to actually give them the personalities they were so clearly described to have in the book!

Marauders and Books I think they would read

Part 1

Sirius Black & James Potter: as I mentioned in a previous post, they would be the biggest PJO kids. Fantasy books about a kid who also got ADHD like them? Love it! Sirius calling Remus his Annabeth and Starchaser being solangleo for a costume party. James is so Will and Reggie is his Nico (sun anybody?)

Sirius’ mother spawning point is a b¡tch and would probably never let him read that so when at Hogwarts James introduced the books to him he liked them alot.

Regulus Black: The Song of Achilles. He would definitely read a bunch of Greek mythology because it’s extremely poetic and beautiful and very very gay. His mother would never let him read queer books yet her homophonic mind would see Greek Mythology as very cultural.

I think he would especially enjoy the royal twink who had to pretend to be a girl for a while to please and avoid his mother, who fell in love with a warrior with a gold heart. He would absolutely stan the fact that in ancient Greece it was said that when Apollo was drunk he sometimes created people with the “wrong” Genitalia.

So in BoA Lizzie charges towards Grelle with her sabres and Grelle’s eyes go wide. I can’t remember the full scene but I remember this. This is what got me thinking about them BFFs. Please. We need them interacting.

But it’s not only that, it’s the fact that in the Red Butler Arc Lizzie dressed all the servants, including (Butler-) Grelle up in poofy, frilly dresses, and while Lizzie may not remember (who Grelle is), Grelle does. She should, at least.

And Grelle, this murderous, angry woman (especially at the time of the Red Butler Arc, prior to her rehabilitation/punishment we see her depart from in the Circus Arc, and while externally it seems not to have worked, I think internally it did, to an extent. She’s had time to heal) had let Lizzie do this (so had Sebastian, a literal demon, but that’s another post for another day).

She’d let Lizzie put this dress that she obviously didn’t like (hence the dramatic monologue about it, as far as I recall) on her. Grelle is, to an extent, good with kids. (You could argue that this was her acting but- but… shut up.)

Let Grelle and Lizzie interact more! Let them be BFFs! Please. Let. Them. Be. Friends.

i've heard the phrase 'nothing lasts forever' more often in the past two weeks than i have in the rest of my entire life and like yeah sure whatever life i get that even this very good phase in my life has to end eventually but you don't need to be so fucking metatextual about it. i don't have anxiety anymore i'm gonna fucking cherish it i'll not ruin it by being afraid that it's gonna end. shut up
