beware: me talking abt my own fic like I'm not the one who wrote it.

ok so FP ash is my fave for several reasons. Buckle up for a book report:
1. mans is hot. I absolutely love the "character design" of this Ashton. Which is to say: messy black hair, ascots, loose shirts, and nipple piercings!! I love his nipple piercings so much !! I mean I love this part of the fic just because think about it!! this is the kind of guy that not only gets his nipples pierced but wears fancy nipple rings! with pearls! that says so much about him right there.
Specifically, he’s drawn to the piercings on Ashton’s chest, the small decorative barbells that are on his nipples, a tiny pearl just beneath them attached to a silver ring that’s sparkling in the lighting of the hotel room.
2. not to pat myself on the back but he's funny. he's a little mean-spirited in his humor too, I think, but never to the point of being a full blown asshole (and his initial bitchy behavior is explained later so). Non-asshole but still semi-rude guy is Hard to write and I'm glad he comes across the way he does!! I think he's a sassy charming little guy with a heart of gold. Also this is just one of my favorite exchanges in a fic of mine ever:
He can’t help but grit out, “God, don’t tell me you’re homophobic or something now too.”
Ashton’s mouth drops open in a loud, disbelieving laugh as he stares at Luke. “Homoph—Dipshit, I’m gay.”
3. He stands up for himself. like, ok, was he kind of bratty to Luke in the beginning? yes he was absolutely. But he had his reasons and I’d say he’s fairly justified in having initial prejudices. And idk, I just really appreciate him being open abt that in one of his earliest interactions with luke. he doesn't mince words and he doesn't pretend to like him. he does his job but he makes it perfectly clear that he's not going to pushed around. He takes no shit!
“I’ve done this a long time, dude.” He raises his large hand to cut off any words Luke was even hoping on saying. “And I know by now that means you want an assistant but you don’t wanna pay the extra cash that job title and resume would require so—” He gives Luke a stiff smile that doesn’t reach his eyes— “I’m just saving us the time and orders and bullshit and I’m doing the job we both know you want me to do. So are you absolutely sure you want those nachos? Because you really seem like the kind of guy who wants a grilled salmon.”
4. he is a consent king!! one of the things I like about this Ashton (bc I’m me ofc) is that he is very careful about boundaries. And it's not in a... bend over backwards to not make someone uncomfortable way but just the acknowledgement that he understands why Luke is hurting and that he wants to do whatever he can to help. And it was also very important of me for Ashton to not only to acknowledge Luke's fear but also sympathize with it. He's the only person in Luke's life who agrees that he would also be scared if he were in that situation. And that's a reassurance Luke really needs at this time in the story so I think it's a great illustration of why these two little cuties make sense together!!
And then Ashton adds, bumping his shoulder into Luke’s and staying close, “I’m sorry. I get why you’re freaked out. I would be too. If there’s anything I can do to make you more comfortable in the hotel rooms, just let me know.”
5. He has the capability of violence but never actually acts on it. I really love protective characters and I love characters that can make their partner feel safe. Obviously, since Ash is Luke's bodyguard in this fic, his whole job is to keep Luke physically safe. And, a lot of the times, bodyguards are portrayed as really Intimidating and Scary people. And, yeah, this version of Ash is intimidating but I never really think of him as scary, which is an important distinction. for instance, the scene at the party where Ashton gets the impression Luke is in danger and threatens a guy for him.
And he says, nothing about his voice anything less than terrifying, “If you ever put your hands on him again, I will break them, do you understand me?”
This shows that Ash definitely has the ability to hurt people if need be. but also, it's important to note that even when Luke was with this guy and Ashton perceived him as threatening, he didn't Attack him. He didn't engage in any kind of physical altercation at all. He just asks what the guy said to Luke and then immediately focuses on Luke's well-being instead of attacking whoever he thought was the reason behind Luke’s distress. It shows that his priority is Luke's safety first, not violence or holding someone "responsible."
6. He establishes his own boundaries. I think a lot of times, in order to make others more comfortable, people neglect their own boundaries and that can often put pressure on a relationship and create a very unhealthy dynamic. so it was important for me to show that FP Ash isn't just setting aside his own comfort levels to take care of Luke. And, whenever their wants don't align, he offers compromises and other possible solutions. <3
He says, in as even and kind a voice as he can, obviously knowing the words are going to hurt, “Luke, I’m not going to sleep in the same bed with you, okay? Especially not when you’re drunk. That’s not something I’m comfortable with. I’m sorry.”
Luke’s vision is getting blurry. His voice comes out cracked. “No, I’m sorry. I’m just—I’m so tired and it helps when there’s someone there and I-"
“Shh.” Ashton lowers himself back to sit on the edge of the bed. “Luke, it’s gonna be fine. Here, I’ll sit with you until you fall asleep instead, would that be okay?”
7. He's cute!! Character contrasts can be really hard to write at times and this Ashton in particular is so... filled with layers and direct contradictions. it's difficult to make him somehow kind of a Dick but not Mean and sassy but not rude and youthful but not innocent or naïve and... yeah, he's a lot of things all in one and it was hard to make him feel like the same person throughout. And, for most of the fic, I wouldn't say this Ash is particularly adorable because he is consistently putting up walls to protect himself but then, as he gets more comfortable with Luke, there are little moments where he's just Cute and carefree as he lets his guard down.
Ashton trills happily and puts his toothbrush back, expressing enthusiastically, “Yesh! Thwanks. Lo’e my nwame.”

Ashton laughs at him, mocking an offended expression. “Mr. Hemmings! Sir! You can’t say a thing like that to me! You’re my boss!” He fans himself exaggeratedly. “Oh, whatever would the girls back home think? My superior attempting to invite me to a whore house! My God, I feel faint!”
8. He's a respectful slut. I've at this point in my fanfic career written a lot of slutty guys, as you may have noticed. I love writing slutty characters. And one of the things I really like about this Ash is that he is definitely sex-positive. He’s a touch of a whore. But, unlike a lot of my other slutty characters, he's not very... raunchy. He always waits for the other person to make the first move, even if he actively enjoys sex and talking about it at times. At no point does he actively flirt with Luke or try and entice him into sexual situations (even if he makes a few jokes about their fictional sex life and also gets a little defensive in the beginning of the story about Luke possibly contracting him for sexual favors). Once he and Luke are comfortable with one another, he is always careful to keep from pushing too far and after they kiss, he never so much as alludes to wanting to go any further. But he's also very open about enjoying sex!! and he doesn't feel bad about it <33 which is something I appreciate it.
Luke brows are drawn up sadly. He says, in a voice as quiet as he can make it without it being silent, “You’re not a slut.”
“Oh, I very much am.” Ashton giggles, rubbing his cheek against his arm. “It’s kind of a personality trait of mine.”
9. He understands the importance of having secrets. Obviously, in the last chapter of the fic, readers learn that Ashton has known the album was co-written the entire time. And he never told anyone. I think it says a lot about him that not only did he keep the secret to himself (even when he initially disliked Luke) but also, he didn't even tell Luke he knew because he didn't want to make Luke worry about it being used as blackmail against him.
“I heard you on the phone with him the first night,” Ashton explains like he's scared to, playing his bottom lip through his teeth. “I’ve known the entire time.”
“And you—” Luke gapes— “And you didn’t tell anyone?”
“Of course not.” Ashton reaches out to clasp at Luke’s knee fondly with a large hand, holding on tight. “That’s your secret. Not mine. I’m not gonna tell anyone.”
10. He never asks for more than someone's willing to give. This is genuinely one of my favorite "confession" scenes I've ever written just for this bit right here:
Ashton shrugs. “You gave a lot of yourself to him. I get it. And I get that part of you still loves him. Maybe part of you always will. But whatever part you’ve got left to give, I want it if you’re willing to give it. Whatever you want to give of you, I’ll take. I want all of it.”
11. He's so unbelievably chill. To this point in his life, FP Ash has been through a lot of bad stuff and he is at the phase where he just could not give A Single Shit. And I just love it. I love the casual attitude of "eh, if I can't control it, why bother caring about it?" It's something that's very important to balance Anxiety-ridden Luke out. It's the kind of attitude he really needs to be around, especially after being with someone who was also so terrified of perception.
He nuzzles into Ashton’s shoulder, chortling softly while blush decorates his cheeks and wonders, lips almost touching Ashton’s hot skin, “It didn’t upset you at all? Really?”
“No.” Ashton’s voice is close to his hair, proving to Luke that Ashton’s head is still currently tipped down to look at him and he probably still has that cute double chin. “That’s not a story about me. It’s a story about a guy with my face and my name but it isn’t me. So why would it bother me?”
12. He's a mystery. Everything we learn about Ashton's past, we learn from someone else without Ashton’s consent. In fact, it’s kind of implied that Ashton has been trying to hide his past. This is mostly a technical story thing but FP Ashton, for the most part, remains a mystery to us throughout the fic. And, honestly, even by the end of the fic we still don't know That Much about him. But I really like when Luke starts discovering Young Ashton through twitter and it's an entirely different version of Ash to the guy he currently knows. It insinuates that - in the world of this fic - Ash was a different person before. He was a session drummer from Sydney with honey hair and a more open, happy-go-lucky attitude. So that means that something happened to alter him. Something made him change career paths and give up music. Something made him dye his hair. Something made him different. What was it??
There’s one video that circles more than the others. A video of a honey-haired guy banging on a drum kit with a condor tattoo on the back of his neck. It’s Ashton. Maybe. Sort of. It’s a part of him. It’s a version of Ashton that Luke has never known before.
But this version of Ashton is the one that decorates his phone now. This honey-haired, dimpled young guy who plays drums and flips off the camera while giggling.
Luke thinks obsessed is a strong word to use… but he’s obsessed with him. He’s overwhelmed by him. This younger piece of Ashton who grins bashfully whenever the camera is pointed at him and plays drums in such a way that with every beat, a jolt of electricity rocks through him so his entire body moves when he plays.
Obviously, this description is meant to be a contrast to the Ashton readers have gotten to know to this point. Current Ashton isn't very bashful by any stretch and he doesn't have honey hair anymore and he doesn't play drums. At no point in Fine Print does Ash ever even so much allude to having played music in the past even though he’s working for a musician. So this insinuates that there's a tension between him and music. Which the begs the question!! why!! why doesn't he play drums anymore!! Who knows!! and we never find out lmfao!! I never tell you guys!! I just really love having a character that has so many questions a reader can fill in on their own if they want to. And this Ash is full of questions!!! There's so much about him readers simply don't know. All you know about him, really, is his personality. You know that he's a little sassy and a little sweet and a little cruel in the most kind way. And that’s all you really need to know to love the little guy.
So, yeah, that's why I love my boy <3

Ghost of fries and hero of cookies final part

Summary of whole work: Duke wasn't expecting to wake up from his quick rooftop nap to some meta kid with fries. He also wasn't expecting kid to stay

Danny asked Dani to stay safe while she was in Gotham. Where would she be safer than under the wing of local hero? And he looked like he needed bad day combo anyway

Beta read by @audhumla-sailor though English is second language for both of us, so proceed with this in mind. I also know all of the charaters through fics alone, so probably ooc. Stay catious if it's something you don't like
First part, Previous part
Dani packed her stuff as soon as she got back from patrol. While doing it, she called Tuck and Sam to coordinate travel plan with them and to make sure she heard where and when correctly. Danny’s birthday were coming, an alien’s autograph would be a good present. Unfortunately she wouldn’t have time to get any of his merch on her way so the sky map she printed in Gotham’s Public Library would have to make it. Because of Sam’s demand she stocked herself in protein bars, other high calorie snacks and tons of drinks. Guy at the register looked disturbed but correctly guessed it wasn’t his business. Thanks for physics meets magic mess that made her backpack lighter. It worked like thermos in a way, though she didn’t even try to understand it.
This flight was going to be challenge not only to her speed but also, mostly, her stamina.
Ancients let her survive.

Turns out, phones couldn’t survive falling from over a hundred feet at around 60 miles per hour. Well she had all important numbers (Jazz, Val, Tuck, Sam non- and yes-emergency Danny) on paper phased inside her hip. From Sam’s money she could buy one in Los Angeles and explain the change of number then. She would have to come up with an excuse though.
She wasn’t going to admit she got distracted and bumped into a bunch of pigeons, got startled and dropped her phone like a silly child.

Ok so I found your account very recently and I am loving it! Would you be fine with discussing more of your thoughts on Daan being trans? I briefly thought about it the other day but I would love to hear your perspective. Sorry if you already discussed this somewhere else and I didn’t see it 😭
Aaaa thank you glad you're enjoying your time here so far! I talked a tiny bit about it in the tags of my post about him as the blank soul but I'll gladly talk more about it <3
I personally worked my way backward into seeing Daan as trans, rather than looking for evidence it was more about what reading him as trans connected with and brought to other aspects of his character.
My starting point is what Pocketcat says to him during his moonscorching transformation and how much of it was focused on idenity issues, faking who you are, putting on masks, being so obviously out of place and seen through. I don't think what Pocketcat says during this scene should be taken 100% at face value because a lot of what he tells Daan that he really feels actively benefits its goals of turning him into a vessel but this being what Pocketcat chooses to manipulate him through is telling.
Daan holds very deep seated insecurities about not passing. And boy do we see him fail to pass in game. Karin calls him a queer right in front of everyone and in party talks a few of the jabs she takes at him are about his percieved failure at masculine things. If the player attacks and intimidates him they call his "blade" too small, to me this paints the picture that Daan has an in world queerness to him that's so obvious it's not strange that it would get used against him.
He effectively does pass as a man, he's likely had access to what gender affirming surgery and hormones existed at the time and period-typical transphobia would dictate if they even knew what a transexual was they probably still wouldn't know they could be men. So what Daan's not passing as is actually a straight man (world's #1 gayest wife guy) but that at the same time that really doesn't matter for his own anxieties. We see him pass as a man of higher status by pretty much everyone (another thing Karin likes to take jabs at him for) despite how much he feels out of place in that world, nobody would ever be able to guess his past involvement with Sylvain from the way he acts in Prehevil yet he still feels like they can see through it and know how he's been aligned with her aligned with her all his life.
He's got that voice in his head that tells him "they all know what you are" which, as a trans person myself, very much resonates with part of the trans experience. As does how much others push the kind of man he "should" be onto him.
I tend to fixate on his identity issues the most out of any aspect of his character. How suggestible he is about being told who he is because he needs a role to play lest it really sink in how blank he is. Having him despite that, know he is and choose to live as a man feels very powerful and impactful to me! It also makes it all the more tragic that one of the very few things he decided for himself that he was inevitibly gets affirmed yet twisted and perverted into Pocketcat, who while not being a manly man of any sort is basically the natural extreme to those flamboyant effeminate cartoon gaycoded villains of the old disney movies, a very male threat.

• FLORIAN RAMBLE #3
So when I read and tries to analysis his story (It is on Weibo Release Post!), I imagine that his S/O, is his childhood best friend/friend. The day since he met them, even the day since his parents death
This is my opinion and what I see! I think Florian is quite how children are back then, always begging and playful with their parents. But when he met S/O, he may fall in love. Well, puppy crush all that
Personal opinion here, I do think Florian is type of guy (We don't know his age, but it since he is nearly adult. So my guess is that he's around his early 20s!), that would fall in love quickly. Puppy crush, but I do see him falling in love quickly with his S/O at child age as well
BUT AGAIN, BACK TO THE EYES AGAIN (FORGIVE ME), he would be in love with his S/O eyes. No matter what colour it is, but I do think it would start off as innocent. Like him telling S/O how beautiful their eyes and handing them the colour of things he gave, based on their eye colors. But, slowly get disturbing. Like him telling S/O how's he willing to take their eyes away
BUT ALSO ANOTHER THING IS, I do think he would fall in love with S/O innocently BEFORE his parents death (Trauma), again. Like puppy love, it was innocent and sweet. Child-like too
But after his parents death, he would be very much (even, disturbing) overprotective with his S/O. In the orphanage, he would make any children or some teenagers stay away and make them distant away from S/O. You know, the type of person that said "It's your own good", such a loser. But we all love him!
I don't know if this is correct, but due of his sad backstory and trauma. The donors would continue to donate for Florian (As The director encouraged it), with Florian would play along but also. I do see him, well, faking relationship with S/O. Like "Oh my dear S/O and l, are in relationship!" As S/O can't refuse, due I also see Director encouraged Florian to continue doing it. Abusing power exactly, I think?
But also again! Due it was mentioned he was promoted as manager in the orphanage. I would imagine using/abusing his power to be with S/O alone and only alone. Getting to spend time with S/O
But for Florian as nearly adult and fire investigator, S/O being his best friend/worker. Again, I do believe he would fall in love with S/O because of their eyes or bravery! But due how he is (he's silly guy who is fucked up), he would be the same, but more possessive!
But for Florian as adult but his childhood best friend, joining him as another Fire investigator. It's still the same thing, but also like abuse of power if S/O is newbie/lower rank!
(AND ALSO I ALSO MAIN LUCA AS WELL!! I get that feeling that he may be like Luca, due of his smile and also how he's like.. Posing? But that's all!)

1 - Sharks - Imagine Dragons

I didn't realize I listened to Sharks so often.. oops. If I had to guess I would say it's definitely because of the instrumental, especially towards the end, don't get me wrong I like the lyrics and the vocals, but the instrumental right before the last chorus sounds awesome imo
Surprised that out of all imagine dragons songs I know, this is the one I listen to the most apparently,, that was unexpected tbh
2 - Doubt Comes In - Hadestown
"i used to see the way the world could be, but now the way it is is all I see and- (Where is she? Where is she now?)
HADESTOWN GRR
This was the song that introduced me to Hadestown I am so normal about it
Idk the vocals are so perfect and I think that the instrumental going on for a lot longer than it does in the rest of the Hadestown songs really shows how oddly silent the journey is for Orpheus. I adore how, despite the fact that Eurydice is literally singing right behind him, he can't help but feel like it's all a trick by Hades, The Fates voices are also so haunting in this one?? Even in like Wait For Me they don't sound like that for me, I love it, they sound amazing 100% of the time but this time they killed it
Orpheus and Eurydice's parts have such a contrasting vibe too, I can listen the colours of their verses what the fuck
Great song super recommend
3 - If It's True - Hadestown

Hadestown again,, I have so many feelings about this song aaaa I actually first heard a parody of it in a Shrek 3 video, so hearing the exact same melody and part of the same lyrics on stage was definitely a shock and it took a while for me to process LMAO
I REALLY like this song, it helped me write a character of mine and I just adore the build up as Orpheus starts a riot, the way the workers start singing louder and louder, the lyrics in general and Reeve Carney's voice are phenomenal, I adore this song fr fr
4- Who is She? (Reprise) - Centaurworld
"Who is she? She's the ghost of the girl I used to know. Who is she? She's the echo I'm chasing"
ONE OF THE BEST CENTAURWORLD SONGS MY OPINION IS THE ONLY RIGHT ONE - If I had to rank it it would be like, around the top five..
I listen to this song a lot while I'm having my Hope brainrots because this song represents her so well, I can't talk about it because it's spoiler territory though, I really should start Storm of Shadows 😔
Anyway uhh I love the way they incorporate lyrics from Who is She, What if I Forget Your Face and Rainbow Road into this, and Glenn's voice is so good I love everything she sings in, the instrumental also sounds like really odd but in a good way? I can't tell if it's a darker version of the instrumental of a previous song or not but it definitely gives off those vibes
5 - True North - Vocal Line

OO I listen to this one solely because of a Paranormal Order OSNI campaign PMV idea I have.
The song itself rocks though, the singing voices are so good, the way they're just so calm is kind of haunting in a way? Like the male and female singers always switching between each other and there being (I believe at least) always at least two singers singing the exact same thing at once just gives off a feeling, a good one probably, but definitely a feeling
6 - That Me Is Not Me - Tryhardninja

7 - Epic III - Hadestown

This is my uhhh third Hadestown song.. I promise I am normal about Hadestown (I'm a liar)
If I had to rank every Hadestown song ever this would be a strong competitor for first place ngl ngl..
I love how the song is cheerful and magic while recounting the first meeting between Persephone and Hades, but turns slow and melancholic as it leaves that memory and goes back to the present.
The way Orpheus uses his feelings for Eurydice to relate to how Hades felt about Persephone, even going as far as using lyrics from his duets with her makes me feel, and the ending where he says things about Hades that drove Persephone away that COINCIDENTALLY are also things about himself that drove Eurydice away it's just so AA
The show really hyped up this song and it absolutely delivered, makes my brain feel many things
(This is my way of begging you to listen to the Hadestown soundtrack)
8 - I'm glad you're evil too - Rachie, PalmMute
"We laught while staring down the void, and cry while listening to vocaloid, two lonely and broken souls messing around with their lives"
This song is just really sweet I like it :) Vocaloid and vocaloid covers just have this very specific vibe
This song is extremely Spook and Chaos core I love it so much I want to draw them being happy forever
To me Rachie's voice just sounds really good with the lyrics and the song is just sweet, it has an energy I cannot put into words and I'm just very normal about it. One of the few songs able to out "memes" into the lyrics and not sound funny

I don't know I really like the more simple vibe of it? I especially like the singing voices not being your typically smooth crazy beautiful voices you normally hear in music, it gives it a very unique energy that I really like! It sounds like a group of friends singing with each other, I like that :)

While I was flying to the USA the plane I was in had The Lego Movie 2 and I had only watched I think the second half of it by that point so I decided to check it out, tragically this song got stuck in my head 😔
There is no deep super analysis/personal project reason I like this song, Tiffany Haddish is simply killing it and I like how it sounds (the animation definitely helped too)

peeped here out of curiosity (i know u have good takes and rb good/interesting takes + filtered words don’t work when viewing blogs and i’ve filtered every single om tag ever) and uknow what? while there’s aspects of the (supposedly) satan-focused i greatly enjoyed (mostly as writing inspo and just the enjoyment of the moment itself more than its part in the overall narrative tbh) i was endlessly frustrated by the fact that diavolo got the true highlight. i couldn’t place why the hell it made me so annoyed but you’re right—the real main character of the story was diavolo and it annoys the hell out of me that satan was painted as more of the bad guy. despite having the most screen time, satan felt like he was simply a means to an end, with the end being some way to show/remind the audience all of diavolo’s princely qualities that often get sidelines in favor of his usual behavior in events.
like. i greatly enjoyed seeing satan lose his shit to the point of terrifying crowds of demons. i liked seeing him lock himself away after to try and process everything by himself. the bits of vulnerability when mc finally manages to speak to him? love. (not that much of it is actually new info but i do enjoy that it’s there)
but the rest of everything else has me pulling at my hair. especially the ending… i wanted mc to ask for something that would be primarily to satan’s benefit after all the bullshit that happened. (and also satan thanking diavolo for giving mc his stars felt… idk. it felt like it encapsulated how a lot of the story key part felt; reminding us that diavolo’s the actual ‘hero’ here and not satan.)
ahdksjakdja so yknow. just some thoughts i wanted to send you. i didnt wanna log into my om blog even though i probably should for thoughts like this >.>;; once again a majority of my real fun came from rewriting everything, which i guess is something since almost all of the non-bday om content for the last several months hasn’t even gotten me inspired enough to bother rewriting anything.

to validate what you mentioned, i also only enjoyed snippets of that event (though as we know, it's been like this for most obey me events for a long time); diavolo aside, witnessing satan compose himself with such sincerity and generousity felt like a blessing tbh. he knows his limits, he knows what upsets him and he should be listened to, even if he gets emotional about it. so what! most of us become emotional when defending something we hold close to our hearts, and satan was no different.
i've said this in the other ask you sent, but you came back right on time as the new lore-focused obm game has been announced! satan was one of their focal points that they mentioned, as well as lore surrounding the (pre & post) celestial realm, solomon, and the attic. it's gotten the entire fandom riled up including myself, and everything looks promising so far :)
i was wondering why the spacing between events in-game have been getting longer and longer, and i'm glad to know it's because they're putting importance on quality over quantity. they began making baby steps in the previous "single character-focused" events, but i'd like to mention that i am very satisfied with the release of simeon's new birthday event, especially when you compare it to the first one for symbolism reasons.
i won't go in-depth about it now unless someone asks me to share my thoughts, but it was the right amount of promising writing i needed to give me hope. for you specifically, satan didn't delve into any cat shenanegains and when he confronted lucifer & brought up a good point, he was acknowleged and listened to. everyone did such a good job...aaaa <3

Prison Feathers
Summary: Phil and Sam talk for a bit, and get into a small little cheer up session.
Relationship is Platonic! No Ship Tagging!

Takes place in “Dreaming Laughter” Series, which was kinda help created by @skylolasaysstuffsblog this is part 2, which hopefully will come out soon.
Takes place between Dreams Escape from the prison SMP lore wise.
“Gone Gone Gone” By Phillip Phillips started playing when I first wrote the first draft, which suits Phil’s and Sams conversation, and I kinda got the idea from @starlightrosa for Sam having a ticklish face. So thank you for that!
First time writing Sam! Awesomedude! Aaaa-

A knock on the door turned on Phil’s attention, the avian hybrid walked towards the door, turning the handle and opening it.
“Hey Phil…”
Phil looked up seeing Sam in front of him, the creeper hybrids tail was tucked between his legs.
“Sam? Come in mate you look cold.” Phil didn’t waste a moment, allowing the warden inside.
Sam sat on the couch. “Thanks…”
Phil looked over at the kitchen area, grabbing a cup, a green liquid was poured in, Phil walked back to Sam, handing the warm liquid to the creeper.
“Tea?” Phil said, Sam took it nodding.
Sam reached for his mask, then he hesitated slowly putting his hand down, Phil noticed and smiled.
“Mate your fine to take it off, I’ve never seen your face as much.” Phil smiled.
Sam reached out, removing the mask from his face, placing it on the table. Showing his teeth and scales.
“Wow…” Phil mumbled agasped.
Sam tipped his head back a bit, sipping on the tea. While Phil tried to have some conversation.
“So what brought you here?” Phil asked.
Sam sighed, thinking a bit. “I guess…I might be worrying about Tommy…ever since…Yknow…”
Phil sighed, thinking about what happened, how Tommy came running over and Dream chasing him straight to his place, where the child was calling out to him.
“I just…” Phil’s train of thought was caught off by Sam speaking again. “I don’t want another incident like the Prison…I don’t want Tommy killed again- I don’t want anyone to not trust me…I was doing the right thing-“
Phil placed a cupped hand on Sam’s cheek, rubbing his pointer finger across the scales, stopping the rambling from Sam.
“It wasn’t your fault, true you might’ve left Toms in there. But the prison locked down…and that teletubby piece of shit is to blame as well.” Phil said, noticing how Sam squirmed a bit. “Sam?”
“Phihihil!!!” Sam giggled. “Your hand is- thihihihihichling me!”
Phil blinked, before a small smirk appeared on his face. He continued lightly tracing his fingers across his face.
Sam was trying not to laugh, Phil only noticing a couple of snickers escaping.
“Please let yourself laugh.” Phil said softly, lightly trailing Sam’s sides.
Sam began giggling, his shoulders bouncing. Phil smiled, lightly trailing the creepers hybrid ribs.
“PHIHIHIL!!!” Sam squeaked, squirming around, he wasn’t much of a giggly mess but here he was.
Phil stopped after a few minutes. Sam looked back at him, and noticed something.
“Are you alright Phil?” Sam asked with a small worry, Phil blinked confused.
“Why wouldn’t I be mate?”
“I mean…” Sam began. “Tommy told me you used to tickle him or anyone with your wings…why’d you not use them with me?”
“One.” Phil stated. “I didn’t know if you could handle it, Two, I-“ Phil’s sentence was cut off by a sneeze from the avian hybrid.
Sam looked up. “You were saying?”
“I-“ Phil sentence was cut off by another sneeze, louder than the last one. And then another, him landing on the floor below.
“It’s a cold.” Phil sniffled, black feathers on his body, ears, his wings a bit fluffier. “From the Arctic, and the transformation is a hybrid instinct…avians don’t do well in cold temperatures.”
Sam smiled, sitting next to the avian hybrid, wrapping him into a hug.
“Attempting to warm you up.” Sam smiled. “If this helps.”
Phil rested his head on Sams chest nodding, the creeper hybrid smiling.
Sam noticed Phil moving a bit when his hand wrapped his hand around his side, but relaxed. A question sprung on Sam’s mind.
“Phil?”
“Hm?”
“Are you ticklish?”
Phil flushed a bit, thinking about the pros and cons of the situation. The pros won.
“A bit…” Phil mumbled. “Only in certain areas it’s bad.”
Sam lit up a bit, smiling. “May I?”
Phil sighed, if it makes him and Sam feel better it’s fine. “Fine but when I say stop, stop, got it?”
Sam smiled, allowing Phil to sit up. “Promise.”
Phil sat across from Sam, who sat in front of the avian, wiggling his fingers as a tease.
“You ready?” Sam asked, Phil nodded a wobbly smile already on his face.
Sam lightly traced his claws across Phil’s ears. Phil squeaked, honest to death herself squeaked.
“Was that you?” Sam asked, teasingly and confused from the sounds from the hybrid.
“Nohohohoho itit wahahas my chahaht!” Phil giggled, referring to the murder of birds. “Ohohof cohohourse ititit wahahas mehehehe!”
“That was so cute!” Sam said excitedly, never hearing Phil so giggly.
“Shuhuhuhush!” Phil chuckled, squeaking.
Sam moved his hands over to Phil’s neck, Phil’s laughter went up a bit, laughing wildly scrunching his shoulders up.
“Aw, ticklish neck Phil?” Sam cooed, scribbling across the sensitive area.
“Yeheheheah!” Phil giggled, balling his fists on his side.
“Coochie Coochie Coo!” Sam teased. “Widdle squeaks coming from the widdle giggle monster~”
Sam pulled Phil into a hug almost, as he teased him, with an inhale, he blew a raspberry into the ticklish skin, nibbling a bit with his teeth.
Phil shrieked, squirming around, his laughter going up an octave.
“NAHAHAHAHA!” Phil screamed. “SAHAHAHM THAHAHAHAT THIHIHICKLES!!!”
“Oh I’m aware.” Sam smirked, continuing the teases. “And you’re clearly a widdle bit sensitive~”
“I AM NAHAHAHAT!!!” Phil squealed, another raspberry from Sam sent the avian into a series of snorts.
“Awww! And I thought snorting was the pigs job!” Sam chuckled, using one hand to scribble across Phil’s neck and the other for his ears.
“Shuhuhuhush I cahahant hehehelp itit!” Phil giggled, a pink flush on his cheeks. He was embarrassed a bit about showing his giggly side but he did ask for it after all, plus it was helping him with making him a bit warmer.
Sam stopped after a few minutes, leaving the avian a giggly mess on the floor.
“Ready for round two?” Sam asked, Phil nodded.
Sam touched Phil’s thighs, Phil gave a sharp inhale. This is gonna be fun.
Sam began clawing Phil’s lower thighs. Phil squealed, squeaking a bit, kicking out his legs.
“Someone got ticklish legs?” Sam cooed. “How adorable.”
“Shuhuhut thehehe fuhuhuck up! I dohoho nahahahat!” Phil giggled, a embarrassed smile on his face.
“Your laughter and legs kicking say otherwise.” Sam said, proceeding to squeeze his lower thighs, relishing in the squeaks and giggles escaping from Phil.
“Yohohou are-hehehe! Wahahay tohoho hahapy about thihihis!” Phil whined,small squeaks of giggles escaping his mouth.
“Well obviously!” Sam smiled, continuing to squeeze his thighs, relishing in the squeals and kicks he received. “Not everyday you find out another hybrid is ticklish!”
The thigh tickling lasted longer than Phil thought. Sam looked at the giggly puddle that was Philza at the moment.
“You okay to continue?” Sam asked, Phil nodded.
Sam carefully removed the green kimono. With Phil’s premssion, he carefully lifted his shirt up a bit to reveal his stomach.
Sam began to scribble his fingers across Phil’s sides. The avian biting his lip, attempting to stop the bubbly laughter building up in his throat.
“Awe, does Philza Minecraft have a sensitive spot~” Sam cooed, scribbling across the skin. “Coochie Coochie coo! Widdle giggle monster in here~”
“PFFT-GAHAHAHAHAHA!!!” Phil squealed, his laughter kicking up a bit as well as his thrashing.
“Awe there we go~” Sam cooed. “But since this isn’t enough…”
Sam began doing small traces down Phil’s sides, up to his ribs.
“AHAHAHA! NOHOT THEREHEHE!!!” Phil squealed. “ITITIT THIHIHICKLES!!!”
“Well I would think so.” Sam said, wiggling his fingers across each bone.
Sam luckily stopped but he wasn’t done yet. Using a feather he got from Phil’s wings earlier, he lightly moved it across Phil’s stomach, smiling at the giggles and squeaks he got.
“SAHAHAM!” Phil squealed.
Sam stopped, allowing Phil to breathe. The creeper moving back to Phil’s wings and back sitting behind him.
“Wow, your wings are really soft.” Sam smiled, stroking his nails across the feathers.
“T-thanks…” Phil mumbled, a flush on his face, attempting to not laugh.
“Not used to complements?” Sam smirked, teeth showing as he began tracing the base of the black feathered appendages.
“Nohoho!” Phil giggled, his wings flapping weakly on the floor.
“Aw! How cute!” Sam smiled, trailing his nails across Phil’s back.
“EEP! Ehehehehahaha!!!” Phil squealed, snorting, light giggles escaping his mouth.
“Oh I got a idea!” Sam said.
Aniticpation filled Phil’s belly from the silence, before a tingling sensation on his spine made him shriek.
Sam chuckled, as the avians wings dropped like deadweight as he squealed, Sam blowing another raspberry into his skin, shaking his head to amplify the sensations. Skittering his nails into Phil’s ribs, wiggling across each bone.
“STOP! STAHAHAP!!!! SAHAHAM PLEHEHEASE!! IHIHI CAHAHANT-NAHAHAHAHAHA!!!” Phil squealed, screaming in laughter.
Sam stopped, continuing to muss around Phil’s ears and neck in an attempt to calm him down. Phil melted and relaxed into the gentle tickling.
“Apologies, didn’t know how bad that was for you.” Sam said, the avian hybrid resting on his chest.
“It’s alright…just a bit overwhelming is all.” Phil chuckled.
“Heh…” Sam smiled. “Glad I could help out, now, I gotta head back to the prison.”
“See ya around mate!” Phil waved, the creeper closing the door behind him.
Phil hopped back up on the couch, laying back a bit, when a large boom caught his attention.
“What the fuck-“ Philza squinted his eyes.
Philza looked out the window, seeing a large portal open up, followed by two people falling out, the portal closing down upon opening.
Philza grabbed his kimono, running out of the house as fast as he could. Techno had given him a metal wing so he could fly, he currently wore it, taking off to see where the people landed.
Only one thing was clear.
Philza was going to see Phil, his creator.

i am a high school student and new to writeblr, but i think it could help with my current writing projects. i absolutely love writing, and have a bunch of wips that i will update this post with once i actually make descriptions for them.

fic with the most hits: The Warmth of My Heart which was my first Avatar: The Last Airbender fic!! I literally can't believe this thing as 13,000+ hits ahsghdgdgdjdhd that's A LOT OF PEOPLE!!! all I did was give Zuko a hug lol!!!! I mean he deserves it and I guess we all agree :3
fic with second most kudos: The Things That Bind Us, another one of my A:TLA fics! Some parts of this I wish I had done a little better but honestly it was three years ago in the height of the atla renaissance and I was still fairly new to AO3, so 2020 me gets a gold star!! Zuko and Toph friendship for the WIN!!!
fic with third most bookmarks: To Light and Guard, my Star Wars "Anakin is a Jedi Healer" AU!!! Omg I fantasize about finishing this fic :')))) I miss working on it. This was so important to me and creating it kept me going through some rough times. Maybe someday.....
fic with the fourth most comments: Hold Onto Me, a Clone Wars Zygerria aftermath angst fic!!!! Man I hated this when I wrote it but honestly it's probably my fave TCW fic!! I love putting Anakin and Obi-Wan through the horrors hehe
fic with the fifth amount of words: flashpoint, my refurbished A:TLA AU fic where Azula makes different choices. I was going to make that a long fic and go through the plot of the show, but I like it more as a one shot! Azula is an awesome character and I had fun seeing what other choices she might have made!!
fic with the least amount of words: say that we'll be together, a Clone Wars fic about the episode "Lawless" (aka MAJOR OOF!!!) I actually forgot I wrote this until now?? That episode hurt so much and I apparently liked to make it hurt more lmao.
I find it a little ironic that none of my anime fandoms made it on here, despite having almost as many fics for My Hero Academia as I do for Star Wars! Plus, the Trigun fandom is a busy place! I did enjoy revisiting all these fics :')))

pq posting before i go to bed! a shorter session (3 hours) but it was nice and i'm happy to say that i finished you in wonderland!
THIS WAS SO FUNNY... honestly i don't think i give enough credit to akihiko and mitsuru's dynamic they're literally so good i really enjoy how well they know each other but also they're like.. a constant in each other's life and i do enjoy their interactions a lot even if i never vocalize it...
wow yosuke, who would've thought that you two are partners, this guy literally introduced himself as your wife /s (i kinda regret naming souji yosuke wifey but im glad i wrote the y in lowercase bc otherwise i wouldn't be able to tell their dialogue apart 💀

i do have to say that i'm very glad i'm at the point where p3 and p4's casts are able to interact! i can't tell if it's because the writing feels like it shines a little bit better here rather than the solo casts (sometimes i roll my eyes at how junpei and akihiko are with some of the traits the writers play up), or if it's because i'm a guy who's very endeared by crossovers and interactions from characters who didn't exist in the original source material.
i had a lot of times where i was writing things down in my notes software during the crossover segments and im just?? really endeared and creatively inspired by it, to be honest. i really like this aspect of pq.
i think something that catches my interest with zen and rei at the moment is the difference in how they're.. regaining their memories. like... it's interesting to me that zen is able to get some of his memories back from the stuffed rabbit marked with "niko," but rei doesn't. i don't really know how much i can speculate off of this atm (i feel like this is something i'd get more info on when i progress through the second labyrinth, or it's something i'm missing out on because i can't use intertextuality to piece things together. i dont know shit about alice in wonderland.)
like it does make me think that maybe these two are like.. separate entities in that respect (rather than a shared one? but i could be wrong, and i welcome that!). but also there's something that makes my brain go "AAA" about how adamant zen is about wanting to protect rei despite not having any memories, because my brains like "WELL WHAT IF ZEN'S TRUE IDENTITIES AND MEMORIES ARE ACTUALLY THE OPPOSITE, AND DON'T WANT GOOD THINGS FOR REI." poorly phrased but like, it's about the irony, y'know.
i have no fucking clue what rei is supposed to be if we're going under the notion that they're two different things that have lost their memory (she is so head empty only food and its precious tbh). but like my brain just thinks that zen is just... going to end up being some awful incarnation or something like idk. there's something about persona characters with amnesia that make me raise my eyebrow... like just look at ryoji and marie and teddie...
and i guess as another thought on the matter, the way zen and rei work mechanically speaking does make me ponder a bit because like.. obviously, yeah, they can't equip a subpersona because they're... GESTURES. not persona users but FUCK, the way zen and rei have very distinct skillsets just make me wonder if those can allude to what they symbolize. like zen's skills are much more.. destructive and im just like (AIGIS VOICE) "YOU ARE DANGEROUS."
anyways. i am very much invested in the identities of zen and rei but i am also glad that the crossover stuff is here too because i think the sillies will keep me inspired... and also im just happy to see yosuke... i really like yosuke even if i forget that i do a lot of the time..
last thought, after seeing souji talk and move, i think i'd definitely want to look into p4 side... because um. 🥴 i'm really simple guy. i need more minato in my life. (everyone rolls their eyes. i'm predictable!) i want to see minato move and talk. i want to think about him. he's my boyfriend. he's my wife. he's my universe. im being so cringe about him but I DONT THINK THIS IS A SURPRISE TO ANYONE... i like him a lot (NO SHIT, LIZZ). but!!! idk if this'll be something that i watch or play, it depends on what the NG+ functionality in this game is like...

One year ago as of yesterday, I went on my first date since late 2018. We met the week prior at a local fabric & craft store along with some other friends, and quickly hit it off. We meant to just go for coffee a year ago, but we ended up going to a game store and later, dinner.
I was slow to say we were anything serious - I'd been hurt by rushing in too quick before and I didn't want to bring that upon them - but we fell for each other very quickly. Some time after that date (we both forget when) we made it official.
And damn, we've been through a lot.
Highs and lows on all fronts from both of us the last year, and we've somehow stuck together and held strong.
Happy one year since I fell in love with you, I hope we'll enjoy many more together.

So, it looks like we have a bit of a situation here at the Ask Ace Attorney Agency (or “quadruple-A” for short). We’re now minus one Mod, and with me being semi-retired and the other Mods busy with real-life stuff, Chief Mod Edgeworth is pretty much on their own at the moment. I have no doubt they can handle it, but it’s still a lot of work for one Mod.
Basically, what I’m trying to say here is, uh...
You guessed it, it’s time for another Modition!!!
That’s a play on “Mod Audition,” for anyone who didn’t catch it. So, if the idea of pulling some strings here at the AAAA appeals to you, here are the rules (they’re the same as before, as Chief Mod Edgeworth mentioned):
How to Submit your Application:
Make an official Tumblr account, if you don’t have one. You will not submit an application as anonymous and sending us your contact information will not convince us to contact you any other way.
Submit your application on the submission page here with the title “Mod Application” and no tags. These applications will only be seen by us Mods, so there is no need to tag anonymous. It’s recommended to submit your application on a desktop.
Write your application in a cover letter format. Here is a video to give you basic instructions on how it should be done, if you don’t know how to write a cover letter or a resume: How to Write a Cover Letter - YouTube
In your letter, include why you want to be a Mod, including your interests and love for the Ace Attorney games, in the first paragraph.
The second paragraph must include your knowledge of the games and the names of each game you’ve played. This also includes official mangas, artwork books, casebooks, the anime, the orchestra, the plays, the live action movie, the DLC asinine cases, etc. While it may not be required for your knowledge of everything Ace Attorney, aside from what is canon, it is important to include what knowledge you have outside of what is required.
The third paragraph must include what skills you have to be a Mod, including any computer software you have. Include links to any work you’ve done in and outside of Tumblr. This includes any skills or works not included under Recommendations to be a Mod.
Make sure to include a closing paragraph before ending the letter. State that you promise to follow the rules as a Mod and meet the requirements to be a Mod. See Recommendations to be a Mod to know what is required to be a Mod and Rules as a Mod to know what rules you must follow to become a Mod.
Once you send your letter, we will contact you via PM. This will be the Interviewing Process, which may last a month or more, depending on how long it will take for us to be sure of who to hire as Mods. You will be required to respond to us as each of us ask you certain questions. Be sure to continually check your inbox as we expect you to respond in no more than three days. If you don’t respond after three days, you will be disqualified, and we will not respond back to you. We will be sending you letters via PM for no more than a month. This will be the interviewing period. Some questions may not have anything to do with being a Mod and may be casual conversations. This is our way of getting to know you better and how you will communicate with us.
Keep in mind there is a chance you may not make the cut. If that is the case, don’t look at it like a loss. Neither Chief Mod Edgeworth nor Mod Justice made the cut the first round. It’s likely that we’ll have too many participants to choose from. Just be sure to leave an impression on us, whether or not you have made the cut. Chief Mod Edgeworth will likely give you a PM, if we need an extra Mod for whatever reason.
Recommendations to be a Mod:
A laptop or computer.
The skills and software to create gif’s and sprites.
Basic English letter writing skills.
Knowledge of the Ace Attorney games (recommended to have played the games fully, but we do count watching gameplay like walkthroughs of the games):
A. Ace Attorney Trilogy (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Justice For All and Trials and Tribulations)
B. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
C. Miles Edgeworth Investigations 1 and 2
D. Ace Attorney Dual Destinies
E. Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice
F. The Great Ace Attorney 1 and 2 (you don’t have to have played the game, but do include if you haven’t played the game or watched game play of these)
An hour or more of your time to be able to answer three or more letters a day.
A Tumblr Account with the knowledge of how to use Tumblr.
Rules as a Mod:
Answer every letter as the canon characters of Ace Attorney as if the character was answering a letter from a fan or friend, depending on who is sending the letter.
Don’t include any theories or non canon ideas in those letters. Head canons are accepted, if they fit within canon.
Don’t make any ships canon to this blog, if they aren’t canon to the game. Wrightworth will not be recognized in this blog, even though it’s Chief Mod Edgeworth’s OTP. If the ship is one-sided (Apollo x Juniper), then it remains one-sided. If it’s canon, but one character dies, such as Mia x Godot, then it shall remain that way. If they are ex lovers, but there are hints they may still have feelings for each other in canon (Ex: Phoenix x Iris), then it shall remain that way. If nothing has happened between the duo, then nothing happens.
Don’t randomly make posts without the consent of the Head Mod. This especially includes Farewell Letters.
You may answer comments from fans in the comment section of any post, especially when informing about mistake corrections, but please be respectful.
Be willing to fix any mistakes or errors you made in a previous post, if the one writing the letter is complaining about a mistake. People will respect you for it. It does not matter if you worked hard on that letter or if you think it’s stupid. You’re not the one that wrote that letter and if you have made a mistake in responding to it such as getting the wrong character sprite, spelling a word wrong, answering as the wrong character or even getting something canon wrong, FIX IT! Don’t be a jerk about it, if you’re being corrected. If you make a mess, you clean it up like a grown adult.
If you have an issue with any of the other Mods for whatever reason, please talk to the Mod you have an issue with or else let the entire group know. Nothing will ever get resolved by staying quiet or sneaking around. It just makes you look like a jerk and a traitor at worst.
Please do not give away the username, name, address, etc. of any Mod. Even if they have already given away their original account or whatever information, including pictures of themselves, on a separate post(s), that is still considered an invasion of privacy. Using what is already considered public information is different from using what should be considered private information. If you’re going to use any private information, you need the consent of the other person to do so.
It’s fine to have different opinions, OTP’s, religions, interests, politics, etc., but don’t allow it to be an issue or bring it to the blog. If those differences are making you uncomfortable for whatever reason, you have the right to leave the blog, but PLEASE let us know and how you intend on leaving BEFORE you do so. It’s not worth dragging this blog through the mud over a disagreement, especially if you have no knowledge or understanding as to why the other Mod(s) may feel or think this way.
Be active. If you need to leave for a certain period of time or cannot post any letters, please let us know before the end of the day. If you need to leave the group, please let us know and we shall take the steps for you to send a farewell letter.
Be friendly and respectful.
