Some notes about my fan princess route, the Lure.
Basically this is an offshoot of the damsel route where you abandon damsel in the basement and just leave her thinking her beauty is just a trick. When you commit to the choice the smitten is so distraught he ends it all thus leading to chapter 3 the Lure.
The voices that join you are hero, smitten, and paranoid.
The forest is now a swamp with the distant sounds of frogs croaking and the basement is l flooded with lillypads floating about (I imagine you have to jump on them to get close to the princess). The princess rests on top a giant lillypad and begs you not to leave her again.
If you try to save her, she'll wrap in a tight embrace and you'll realize you can't get out because her hands are incredibly sticky and if you pulls away she'll rip the meat off your bones with her hands.
If you try to leave again, she'll chase you down while begging you not to leave her again until the hands get her.
"This vessel had her trust broken yet never wanted to leave your side. Terrified of being alone, and even more terrified of being abandoned. She will make for a fragile and wanting heart. Do not mourn her, she won't be afraid anymore"

Slay the princess oc idea. Voice of the Lacking (dense)
Doesn't understand this whole voices thing at all, genuinely thinks it's some joke or that he's in a huge dream. Very annoying, continuously tells narrator and the other voice(s) to be quiet so he can 'wake up', or to stop 'taking this prank so far'. Incredibly awkward, doesn't take a thing seriously though easily disgusted. Would probably get unbelievably confused at the idea of the time loop. Thinks this is all a huge prank. Refuses to believe he's a bird, questions the logic of the whole thing constantly in a genuine; rather than skeptic, of paranoid way. Really just wants to leave.

I've seen an anon on here ask people about killing the princess via strangulation... Tragically, I've been inspired.
This one goes out to you random anon! Thank you for the ideas, but now I've spent a lot of time on this.....
Major Cw for the following; Strangulation (obviously), Themes of emotional abuse and trauma, body horror art, descriptions of body horror, hospitals (mental and physical hospitals), Smoking, Alcohol, and the normal Cws for Slay the Princess.
Let's get into it!
Stranguled routes!
I dont have all of them planned yet, but the way this works so far is; you can strangle her with or without talking, both got different outcomes, three chances to back out of strangling the princess, those lead to different routes.
Both times the narrator drops the knife in the room at the second option to back out
If you strangle without talking, it's quick, after the third prompt she passes out, and then you stab her with the knife, she only gets a few words in, most of them insults, threats, or lies.
If you talk first, things get a bit more... Violent...
First, she tries to beg, if you keep going you end up distracted for a second and she gets away, second time she fights back and gets away trying to make a run for the door, if you do it again, you break her neck by mistake and then stab her through the heart.
The only routes I have ideas for (so far) are the end results and then back out the second time without talking
The brutalized: Strangle her to death after talking to her.

She's actually the only fanmade princess I got a design for (even if it is just concept art.) so far! I wanted her design to look visceral and gross without gore. Sorta like the Fury or Injured Wild but all skin. I also wanted to make it obvious she died but not have the how be easily figured out. I wanted those to see her without context to have a horrifying picture of what happened come to mind of how she got like this.
Hair pulled back and attached to a mound of flesh atop her scalp. Her dress is heavy, made of tumorous pulsating skin and fat that weighs her down. Arms long with large sharp hands that are hard to move delicately and with precision. Her crown is a piece of slightly rusted metal as sharp as a butcher knife on every side. Skin has grown in place of a mouth, but she can still make muffled screams. And most noticeable, a long, crooked neck, broken and bent in two places, distorted to to point it can't keep her head up straight. Every movement is paired with a sickening cracking noise impossible to ignore.
Just really fucked up in appearance and verbal description
Her voice is similar to standard no-knife princess, just slightly muffled and somewhat shakey with a very mild lisp.
She isn't mad at you. She isn't even upset she's dead. She's just... Confused... A little nervous and very very confused. She thought you two were getting along, that you and her were having a nice conversation. Why did you do this? What did she do? Can she make it up to you? Why did you talk to her if you just wanted her dead? Her last words were "Why?" and she wants that question answered...
She's chained to the wall, although the chain is long enough for her to get out the stair door of the old cabin. unfortunately for her, the basement is a long, long, stretching hallway with the door just bearly in her line of sight. The cabin is dark, and the floor is sticky, not like something had been spilled, but like something had been coming up from in between the floorboards. The walls were covered in dark mold that smelled of vomit. There is no table, instead, a pristine is stabbed perfectly in the corner right where the wall and floor meet. You can't help but notice that the foul substances that cover the interior of the cabin are much more prominent where the pristine blade stands.
The Breathless: Strangle her to death without talking to her.
When you enter the cabin you can hear rave music coming from the other room... What room? The party wasn't outside, and yet you still hear it from just beyond the walls? The blade is stabbed into the concrete wall just above a dumpster, duct tape outlines the pristine blade's makeshift shieth. The floor resembles the unsanitary ground of a big city back aile, trash and all. As you enter the basement the pungent smell of alcohol and cigarettes hits you like a brick.
Can you tell I'm proud of the breathless?
She's just exhausted. She wants to leave the cabin and meet people, experience life, and have a good time, she can hear the party just outside, yet the only thing she can indulge in is old beer and cigs she finds in in the crawl space (If she's lucky, She'll find an unopened\used one!).
Her voice is annoyed. Not at you but more at the world around her. You killed her without knowing her, she died at the hands of someone she didn't know the motivations of. Her words are slightly slurred and her voice is extremely scratchy and raspy like she'd never heard of water (or like she'd been strangled to death and coped by smoking and drinking.). She's also sarcastic as all hell.
Her hair is put into many braids, almost looking like dreadlocks. Face decorated with cheap mid-late 2000s makeup that's been smeared with time, sweat, and tears.
She's willing to chat. She'll offer you a smoke and a beer. and if you're willing to talk, she'll listen and only judge you occasionally.
Confession: She's heavily inspired by Buckshot Roulette! I've been obsessed with the aesthetics of that game and it ended up bleeding into Breathless's route
and lastly, for the routes I got stuff written for:
The Crybaby : Talk to her, strangle her, give up first chance you get.
I don't have the details smoothed out for her and her counter part, but here's a very brief summary of them:
Her cabin is a pediatrician waiting room with the basement being a padded cell filled with blankets and pillows. Her resembles a hospital gown covered in bandages and a large bow. she's terrified of you.
The benign: Strangle her without talking, give up first chance you get.
Her cabin is still undecided, but the basement is a normal doctor's office. She's wearing what appears to be a very oversized straight jacket with the sleeve ripped off at her elbows. She's basically just a self-proclaimed 'crackhead' who throws insults at you for what you did.
The voices you get.
I'm thinking cold for brutalized and stubborn for breathless. You kill her in cold blood with your bare hands despite knowing her. The narrator put the knife in arms reach, it would have been so much easier and convenient to take it and stab her but you stubbornly insisted on strangling. Crybaby has smitten, and Benign has cheated (Though I'm not 100% on that-)
And that's it for now! I love making fan versions of the princess, and I'm genuinely super proud of these 4! They're like my fictional, mentally ill, children and I love them all dearly. Please, Feel free to give me criticism and input cause I wanna make these creatures the best versions of themself I can!

Ok, I know the pristine cut won't add any princesse, just ligns of dialogue but I wonder something.
I wonder what kind of chapter 2 and 3 vessel would be create if in chapter 1 we kill ourselves in front of her. No words, no nothing. You just walk up to her and silently end yourself.
I imagine that it could result in a quite defaitist vessel. After all, she thought her suffering would finally end, be it through escape or death. Yet, her salvation umpromptedly decided to commit suicide in front of her very eyes. She would be heavily chained, similar to the Prisonner. But her chains are mental. She knows that, no matter what, she won't make it out of this cabin. She wouldn't even try to. The LQ could try to console her, apologize for the heavy trauma he gave her, similarly to the Thorn. When you'd try to slay her, she wouldn't resist. Actually, she'd be faintly surprised but it would seem as if a heavy burden has been put out of her shoulders. If you try to free her, similarly to the Adversary, she would resist and even kill you. She knows this is in vain, she is afraid of suddenly having a freedom she's been denied.
Or she could be quite protective. Somewhat like the Burned Grey who knew it was the Construct that prevented your love and and decided to burn with you. I have seen a spider princess Oc somewhere, where she would trap uou into the basement to protect you. This one could do it so she can't be alone or to prevent you, prevent the Construct, from harming yourself again.
I know such princess won't exist, at least in the near future, but I find the thought experiment interesting

Introducing Voice of the Resilient
He doesn't have a route for Chapter 2, but he does have Chapter 3 routes.
He's most prominent in The Fury where if you decide to resist getting ruptured, he basically becomes a therapist for the gorey mess that is The Fury. The Narrator is included for this group therapy.
This leads to Chapter 4: The Scarred
Where basically The Player has two options whether or not you take the blade or not.
Taking the blade will lead to The Scarred snatching it out of you to slay herself. Not taking it will lead to you both talking and letting her out.
Thus leads to Shifty taking her away (before she can slay herself)/(Once she's out)

Cold villains. Elegant, refined, maybe, with disinterested eyes and icy composure. Their breath makes a shiver run down your spine, their freezing fingers following the curve of your neck. The coldness is almost, IS inhuman. A ghost of the past come to haunt you for eternity. A vampire, come to steal the life from your veins and the vigor from your step. A victim of scientific experiment gone horribly, horribly wrong.
Vs
Hot villains. Temperamental, wild, feral, full of barely contained desires and unquenchable rage. Their eyes spark and burn and blaze with all the things they want to do. Are they made of fire, or are they just full of energy? Sweaty and passionate and involved. They would never sit from the sidelines. Their very touch leaves blackened ash in the wake. They are so very angry, and will not back down, even if it might be wiser to.

Saw someone reddit complaining why there wasn't an princess that wanted us to slay her so I wrote up an fan route where this occurs. Warning there's themes of suicide ideation here, also very long
Go into basement without knife
Tell princess she's gonna end the world
Pressure her on this point and tell her dying is the right choice for everyone
Eventually she'll relent and let you go upstairs to get the knife and slay her
Then slay yourself to escape good end
Chapter 2- the harbinger
You get the voice of the righteous
This voice believes that slaying the princess will stop the end of the world yet still distrusts the narrator, believing was stopping him from seeing his saved world. He wants to both slay the princess and escape the construct.
The cabin's interior is falling apart (similar to thorns route) as if the princess's very prescene is bringing down the cabin
The stairs are similar, with holes and tears in the stairs.
The princess is in a crumbling basement, the roof threatening to collapse on both of you.
The princess has a tattered black dress and a broken tiara. She looks visibly disheveled.
She knows her existence is suffering and wishes to put an end to herself, and asks you to slay her.
You can either convince her that her life has a purpose and that you were wrong, her existence isn't a threat to the world. When you get close you start to decomposs to her prescene bringing ruin to those around her, but you're able to comfort her in your last moments trying to convince her of her worth.
This leads the chapter 3 the Decay
Or you can try and slay her, which you then realize her very presence causes those around her to decomposs rapidly. She'll apologize and take the blade from you intent on slaying herself. Before she's able too, the hands take her away.
Chapter 3- the Decay
The Decay takes place in a dead forest, the trees now just stumps and little to no grass.
You now have the voices of smitten, righteous, and hero.
The cabin is almost entirely made of rotting wood and dead plants and the stairs are barely there anymore, it's a difficult cabin to progress in.
The decay awaits you and confesses she now has a reason for living, that she knows her purpose is death but death is natural and not something to get rid of.
She has a plan of getting out of the cabin but involves the slayer having to keep their distance from her and open the door for her so she can walk out.
The slayer trusts her and opens the door for the decay to leave. She's happy to finally have found purpose and then gets taken by the hands.
You can try slaying her by coming close but that kills you again and has the hands take decay away.
You can however throw the knife at her and it'll peirce her stomach, she's completely distraught and asks if all you told her last time was a lie and that she truly wasn't wanted in the world. And then the hands take her away again.
