Larissa had a few more nightmares at the beginning of your pregnancy, most about failing you and your unborn child. Yet one thing that didn’t change was her insistence that the baby would be a girl. There is absolutely no doubt in the blondes mind on the child’s gender yet you were adamant that you should decide on a name for both genders. Just in case. Your stubborn nature got you to convince, so boy or girl you’d both decided on their name.
Alongside the debate over names and the insane cravings that often found Larissa fluttering from store to store, in and around Jericho, pregnancy only heightened your stubbornness and insistence that you were simply pregnant not disabled and Larissa’s dedication and truthfulness. However, despite all the new hormones and adjustments to your daily lives you were both committed to each other and overcoming every challenge as a pair.
Anticipation grew as you reached six months pregnant, your ability becoming hyper sensitive and uncontrollable. Deciding to wait to find out if you’d have a son or a daughter is what got you through the changes to your body. Nevermore’s students were abuzz with theories and suggestions about the child. A few of the staff members had thrown you and Larissa a baby shower that was modest and gender neutral but beautiful, the gifts being thoughtful and generous mixed with your new levels of hormones had you in tears at the love and care for your unborn child.
Around the last month of your pregnancy you began to fear you’d fail the baby. You obviously want the best for them, but your parents weren’t exactly the best role models and that led to your mind concocting the most distressing nightmares that often woke Larissa by your screams and sobs, to which Larissa would spend hours consoling you despite her long work hours.
By the end of your pregnancy, you were totally over the whole situation. Not only were you carrying the weight of a whole other human but your back hurt all the time, your ankles were the size of beach balls and the Braxton and Hicks contractions were borderline torture. Sleep being hard to come by all contributed to you wanting your baby earth side now. Larissa liked to suggest that perhaps the child was a perfect mix of your stubbornness and her determination was why your due date came and went with no signs of labour. No. In fact it was 8 days later that things got real, just in time for the end of semester holidays.
After twelve hours of relentless contractions, broken sobs and curses to your lover and little sleep did you bring your child into the world with a massive gasp of relief. Hearing their cry of protest brought tears to both of your eyes as the nurses took the child away to clean them off before bringing them back and placing them on your bare chest without revealing. The doctors and nurses fluttering round the room to ensure you and the baby got the best postpartum treatment before coming to congratulate both of the new mothers.
“You did so well sweet girl, so proud of my girl” Larissa murmured pressing sweet kisses to your forehead as you both gazed down lovingly at the content newborn. “Georgina Faye Weems” you murmured happily as your index finger came to trace her little cheek.
“I thought we decided on Ophelia darling” Larissa murmured just basking in her beauty and the knowledge that she was right all along, now she’d be able to hold her girls. “Georgina for your aunt Isa.”
“That’s beautiful sweetheart, Georgina Faye Weems, you are one beautiful little angel, your momma and mommy love you so much. Everyone at Nevermore is going to love her” Larissa pondered choking back the emotion of her daughters name honouring her long lost aunt.
Adjusting to motherhood isn’t as easy as everyone else makes it look, thankfully Larissa could take the time in the holidays to spend time with her perfect little family as you healed from the birth. Larissa happily woke up to settle Georgina using the milk you’d expressed to allow you some sleep. Being in your blissful bubble of love with her and Georgina was utterly perfect, until the start of school popped that bubble. Larissa had your cover arranged, you’d gone over and over the work they’d be teaching and ensured the teacher would have access to all the materials. What you weren’t expecting was for how hard you’d find the day with your newborn alone.
Larissa couldn’t help but notice how irritated you’d become with her when she’d leave her office for the day. The irritation could rival your stubbornness at the earlier days in your relationship with ease. The poor blonde didn’t know what to do to help you through this time. You were taking on the night shifts now but Larissa had no idea how much sleep you were losing just unable to sleep. Then you noticed that you’d lose concentration for simple tasks, household tasks piling up, being unable to calm your fussy daughter and a huge lack of appetite. You’d make something to eat only to feel physically sick when you managed to sit down to eat.
You were crouched down against the wall, your daughter clutched to your chest as she wailed alongside your sobs and pleas for her to quieten. At this point, you were almost ready to tear your hair out, she is a beautiful girl and there’s no denying that but it seems your brain could only convince you that you’d fail her. That you are failing her. She deserved more than you for a mother. If Larissa was here she’d know how to soothe the baby. Despite being the one to carry her for nine months, birth her and being with her all day every day for at least two weeks without the tall shifter, it was like you were a stranger to her.
Georgina’s little cheeks were bright red now as she wailed unhappily, little fists balled up, the louder her cries were the more tears you shed as you absentmindedly rocked back and forth at a loss for what would help. You’d fed changed and cuddled Georgina, yet nothing seemed to settle her. Until Larissa came in to save the day.
“Oh my little flower, what’s wrong sweet girl? What’s the tears for Gina?” Larissa murmured softly coming to take the baby from you, allowing you the chance to stand up and breathe. Only, you couldn’t. Georgina settled down as she snuggled into the blondes chest, seemingly tired herself out from all the crying. Meanwhile you only seemed to curl into a ball and sob harder. “I failed her” and “she hates me” were mumbled over and over again. Only then did all the symptoms make sense to the principal. Postpartum depression. She’d read about it in all the books but seemingly missed all the signs in you. Her lover.
Placing the now sleeping baby into her bassinet Larissa immediately came to wrap you in her arms like you are a precious china doll. “Oh my darling girl, I’m so sorry I failed you my love, how long has it been this way?” She whispered as her hand rubbed soothing circles on your back. “I’m a terrible mom, she hates me. She loves you, what do I do wrong?” You sobbed your heart out on her shoulder, now the feelings started to flow there was absolutely no stopping the flow. And Larissa, being your stable shoulder to cry on, she held you through it all, promising to take some more time off Nevermore, to help you through this every step of the way. With her love and support you managed to heal and feel more like yourself again.
As your daughter grew, her own little personality began to shine through, it is apparent that she is as stubborn as you yet as truthful and gentle as the Principal of Nevermore. Students of Nevermore adored little Gina more than life itself, Enid particularly loved to gift her soft plushy’s and even Wednesday gifted her a small black swan plush teddy to go alongside the white dove Enid had crocheted.
However, Georgina’s favoured teddy happened to be a soft blush pink bear that you had gifted her for her first birthday. That bear never left her side, a special connection for you and your daughter. At a year and a half Georgina discovered Ice cream for the first time. Smearing it all around her face as you giggled with your daughter, Larissa walking unsuspectingly into the ice cream covered one year old. Now covering the bottoms of her mamas work skirt in vanilla ice cream.
Her little aura seemed to grow daily, beautiful twists and twirls of orange, green, lavender and light blue seemed to brighten with every day of her life, a perfect little blend of you and Larissa Weems, who would’ve knew that Larissa had unknowingly grown your family on your anniversary night. Your daughter being three and incredibly beautiful and brilliant would be a brilliant big sister.

The Alex Kister Situation
Alright; I've been more of a lurker on here for awhile, but for months now--almost a year--I've been a massive fan of the Mandela Catalogue, and this fandom has been a major form of escapism and safety for me. So, I feel the need to say something about the current situation.
To start, I'm putting a link to the document with all of the information about what happened, as it's important to read it and learn about this whole situation in depth:
With that out of the way, I just wanted to share my own personal opinion; personally, Mandela Catalogue has legitimately become my special interest. I have pretty much obsessed over it ever since I first found it, and everything I've written or drawn since then has been to do with it. It's been very important to me, especially due to the community here on tumblr, as this fandom is probably the most supportive and open places on the internet I've found. I feel a lot more connected because of it, and it made me feel comfortable and safe.
I was in a bad mental space today, and when I found out about this, I had a pretty bad breakdown--some might call it an overreaction, but you don't know just how dependent my mental health had become on this series and fandom. (I will be working on avoiding this habit in the future, as it isn't healthy to depend so heavily on one interest)
After reading through the document, and just seeing so many opinions and contributions from others, I am almost certain that these allegations are true. But I always, always listen to all perspectives before making judgement, so I will not be going full "I hate Alex, he's a despicable person!!" before Alex gives his own point of view.
That being said, I do believe Alex has serious issues that he needs to get handled. I am hesitant to call this pedophilia, as from what I've gathered, he didn't seem to have active malicious intent towards minors(correct me if I missed something that said otherwise)--rather, I get the impression that Alex simply doesn't understand boundaries, and genuinely saw his fans as mutuals. He seems to be a person who's manipulative--whether intentionally or not--and his personal relationships, platonic, romantic, or sexual, turn very toxic because of this. So, trying to have personal relationships with fans, people who look up to him and see him in a very different light, results in inevitable toxicity as well.
I get the sense that Alex simply is a young person, struggling with mental health and gender dysphoria, who was thrust into extreme popularity very suddenly, and doesn't have the maturity level to handle it properly. Overall, I do not support him, if he continues to act like this--if he makes genuine, real efforts to deal with his mental health and his unhealthy behaviours, I would respect him for that. I wouldn't look at him quite the same, but as long as someone makes genuine efforts to better themself after doing something wrong, I appreciate and respect that, and may eventually give forgiveness. But, if he doesn't make those efforts, if he continues his patterns and refuses to try and get better, then that is on him and at that point I have lost any and all respect for him. At that point, you are not a good or reasonable person, in my eyes.
Regardless of how things go with Alex himself, though, I want to say...
You do not have to support a creator to enjoy their work!!
I am a huge fan of Danny Phantom, and that show's creator is a genuine piece of shit. Like, a truly despicable human being. That fandom successfully has, just... completely ripped the show and characters from their creator. They have cut him out entirely, nothing he says holds any impact or meaning to them and it hasn't for years. He's seriously fallen off. And it's still a fun, active fandom! The people in there are super neat!!
And, hell, look at the whole mess with J. K. Rowling!! She is an absolutely disgusting person. But so many people grew up with Harry Potter, and still like her stories, without actively supporting her--lots of creators turn out to be really awful people, but that doesn't mean that what they made is automatically awful as well. They still have some kind of creative ability, that happened to produce something that garnered a significant amount of attention.
We don't need Alex to still enjoy the concept, characters, and overall story he's created. We can still make fanworks, still appreciate what it is that drew us to the series in the first place.
Honestly, out of everything that the fallout of this would bring, I was most terrified of the fandom itself dying, as that is what truly matters the most to me. This place, these people are so important to me, and I am so scared of this community falling apart. I've already seen plenty of people stating that they will no longer be associating with TMC, and are just completely distancing themselves from it. It feels like things are already dying and disappearing and it really, really fucking hurts.
I guess what I'm trying to say, is that... if that is your choice, if you truly do not want to associate with TMC anymore whatsoever, then I don't blame you for it. I understand if you can't look at the series the same way after this, and I respect that choice.
But you don't have to, if it still means anything to you. Fandoms are more than just their creators--they're the community that has been built around the work, and this community is possibly the best one I've ever been in. I don't want to see it die. So, just know, that you can still love this fandom, this story, these characters, without supporting Alex. You can still draw the characters, make OCs, write fanfiction, etc. He won't get money from that--only from directly watching his content or buying his merch.
Finally, I'd like to say to go support the victims. They didn't deserve this--no matter what Alex's intentions were. Please support them, and regardless of how this turns out, do not continue actively supporting Alex Kister. I am sure that, whatever his intentions were, he did still harm people and that is not okay.
Also, this is all just my own opinion, based on what I know; I was not in the discord, I don't have Twitter, I don't personally know anyone involved and I have not seen everything regarding the situation as a whole. I simply felt I should state my current opinion, as I'm seeing a lot of people freaking out and spiraling and just leaving the fandom entirely. I wanted to remind people that it's okay to still enjoy this fandom and be a part of it, without Alex. My opinion may change some with new information I find, but overall, I am of the opinion that Alex should not be supported, while the Mandela Catalogue itself can be separated from him and still be enjoyed and appreciated.
And, whatever happens... Adam Murray, Jonah Marshall and Thatcher Davis are officially honorary characters in my stash of little guys. If he's not fit to keep them then they will become my creative outlet instead (and others who love them, obviously). They're very special characters to me, I can't express just how many things I have written and drawn to do with them, and I refuse to give them up.
(another addition, regarding the apparent 'alter egos' Alex apparently had: Possibly consider DID? I know a lot of people with DID will often mistake it for other things, including simply being gender non-conforming, when in actuality they really have alters that just identify differently. Not diagnosing, I don't know enough about him to make any real claims--it was just a thought.)

Feedback Fest let's gooo!
Here's 10 recommendations from me, in no particular order
Tumblr media
1] More Than A Sidekick, by Jason_Todds_Thigh_Holster (Henry Danger)
Oh, the classic "I have to pretend I don't care about you at all to save you, meanwhile I would give the whole word to you"-trope (totally official name). Mixed with the character in danger having relatively low self-worth and a usual "rough around the edges"-caretaker/mentor, it's just HMMMM (/pos)! I'm already a sucker for characters in hostage situations, so pairing these together is Such Good Soup. I personally didn't even keep up much with Henry Danger after my childhood, but the characters are already so nicely characterized within the fic itself, that you truly don't feel like you miss anything.
Tumblr media
2] [injury] of a salesman, by becki (Deltarune)
It's only a one shot, but everything that happens is so well organized and shown that I keep forgetting. "basically just lots of spamton getting the love and care he needs" (author's tag) describes it well, and I am HERE for it. Especially the part where the two eat together tugs at my heartstrings, I love characters with some form of food-insecurity being allowed to eat freely. Swatch as a character is also such a delight.
Tumblr media
3] URL not found, by Aster269 (@aster269) (Deltarune)
Quite a long one, this time; I read it while it was still going, and it was worth waiting for every update! The Addisons have very clearly established personalities and beliefs that are explained through their backstory. It's also very interesting to see every facet of their life, from childhood, to Big Shot Era to reunion. And personally, I can't get enough of the Addison Family unconditionally loving and supporting each other <3
Tumblr media
4] The Wake-Up Call, by cookiescrumbles (Wander Over Yonder)
Wander. Has. Issues. And they are very well acknowledged here.
His personality really shines through here, both in the way he acts and talks. The entire concept is also very sweet; and I love Sylvia's and Wander's relationship. Shout out to the Hat, for getting Wander what he needs!
Tumblr media
5] Tiny Reverberations, by Sylphidine_Gallimaufry (@sylphidine) (Deltarune)
SO! CUTE! Very short, but that just contributes to how fun of a read it is. It's pure fluff, and that mixed with Spam's reaction due to his low self-worth is balm for the soul <3 It's just so adorable; love the kitty <3
Tumblr media
6] Mourning Dove, by LynnCanigula15 (@moonbeam-dragon) (Darkwing Duck)
I must say, I'm always a fan of people talking about the kinda messed-up stuff that happens in DW sometimes. And I think how the other three members of the F4 react to this - relatively complicated - situation is very much in character for who they are. Big fan of angst, and Bushroot's state of mind is especially interestingly described and established in chapter 2.
Tumblr media
7] Back Alley Beatdown, by SwoodMaxProductions (@swoodthis) (Deltarune)
I love seeing Spamton fighting tooth and nail, knowing his own advantages. Sweet Cap'n Cakes are also very sweet and considered to the Spam Man here; making sure to reassure him when necessary. The description of the parts carefully placed beside him is a personal favourite of mine here! It also has a very nice conclusion.
Tumblr media
8] Last of your Kind, by Vanyel (@boonbeenblade) (Cult of the Lamb)
It manages to say what it wants so clearly and concisely, seeing the length that it is. The use of language is truly phenomenal, and it shows a very cool outlook on the relationship between the Lamb and TOWW. Even though the fic depicts events that you literally play yourself, it manages to give an interesting outlook on them, making one able to experience them again as if from fresh eyes, from the perspective of the character. The second-person writing comes off as very natural.
Tumblr media
9] Ever so slightly, by Pancakes_for_Dragons (Deltarune)
Sometimes I need a story that is just unapologetic angst. The fic gives Rouxls a very clear persona that reflects on his literal state as the "Rules Card" very well. How his relationship with Lancer grows is really sweet; and especially "I’m thoust Lesser father, surely that musteth count for something." and the whole event around it, still has a space in my mind, since the first time I read it!
Tumblr media
10] breathe, breathe, by SteveSmackdown2014 (School for Vampires)
Again, just a very sweet story. It's very easy to see it both from Oskar's (with all the knowledge we have as viewers) and from Sunshine's (with a more 'normal', human outlook) perspective; and why they both react the way they do. Oskar's fear is shown as so very real, but the actual moment is just as sweet.

genuine question here, in regards to not commenting on videos (and fics, and art, etc.) Is there, and if so, where is there, a distinction drawn between people who do not care about commenting, and people who literally do not have the spoons to comment? I can't speak for everyone obviously, but personally, every time I've decided "alright, it's time to be loud and supportive of the things I like through comments!" I end up stopping consuming that content completely, because I literally don't have the mental brainspace and energy to comment. (This isn't a conscious choice I make, either. What happens is I'll sit down, decide to read or watch something, but then when I remember that means commenting as well, I become suddenly actually unable to consume the content in the first place. Like regular procrastination, but guiltier and more bored!) Again, this is a genuine question and I promise I'm not coming from a combative position here. Just tryna get some clarification, because all the talk about it lately is getting a little... aggressive, without much in the way of nuance.
No no, this is a good question, and a good aspect to address. Especially on This Webbed Site where most of us are neurodivergent and/or low-spoons of some flavor.
Here's my short(ish), probably-not-nuanced enough answer:
You have to a) find a balance that works for you, personally, and b) don't take it too seriously.
The first bit of that means that you don't have to force it on days that are tough -- but also don't just say "well. it's not worth it because I 'never' can do it." All or nothing aren't the only two options. And you have to decide for yourself: at what point is it worth it to me to output a bit of extra energy to repay the person who is providing me with something that gives enjoyment? There's a certain entitlement that seems to come into play in the way a lot of people are talking about this, in a "how dare you suggest I make an effort when that's hard for me" kind of way. (to clarify: that's not this ask. It's just a vibe that comes up a lot anytime "leaving comments and feedback" comes up. As if people get insulted at even being asked. Beware: yon way lies the path of the Karen.)
So you have to find a balance that works on your level between "what this is worth to me" and "what I can do right now." That balance can change. Should change, honestly. But it's not a 0% or 100% option -- there's room for gradients.
And the second bit is something I'm seeing a LOT in the tags. People saying things like "I just don't feel like I have anything to contribute" and "I only comment when I have something to say" and "I just never have anything interesting to comment."
Ditch that notion. Literally write it on a piece of paper and toss it in the fireplace. Writing a comment on youtube or tumblr is not in any way a situation that requires meaningful or insightful wordage -- and I mean that in the most /pos sense.
Type "I loved this!" and hit post. "So excited for a [creator name] video today!" "These videos put a smile on my face." "Thanks for a great vid!" Heck. I've seen comments that are literally just "<3!!!!"
And you know what? Those count. Maybe more than the paragraph-length comments tbh, because they're quicker to read through and get that little bit of "oh, that's a drop in the positive bucket."
They help engagement. They contribute to CCs knowing their content is enjoyable and hitting the right audience. They help stats and tweak the algorithm in the CC's favor. It doesn't need to be a deep dive or an original suggestion or a clever quip or whatever. Don't put that pressure on yourself.
I'm not going to sit here and tell you "No, bud, you don't have a choice. If you want to be a good fan you have to push through your own struggles and leave comments, no questions asked, no quarter given." That would be ridiculous and actually cruel.
What I will say is... yeah. Don't take it too seriously. Just, whenever you can, drop a "Cool build!" comment. And let the fact that it really, genuinely can be that little and still make a huge difference to someone's day lower the spoon-rating a little. If you don't see it as That Huge A Thing, it might not require as much energy to actually do.
...anyway that wasn't short at all but I hope maybe it made some sense.

Unsolicited…
You've got a really overwhelming situation. It’s a bit ancillary to my irl job (env health and industrial hygiene), so I wanted to toss some thoughts to the void to maybe make it less heavy? (Def feel free to disregard and delete)
Since the AC is too large for the house, the house will stay too humid because the AC doesn’t have time to “dry” out the air – it’ll kick on and off too quickly instead of running for awhile. I’m guessing this is also contributing to the fire hazard (power cycling of the unit). You may be able to find a company that will trade the unit for a more appropriate one, which could help recoup some of the costs for a new system, or maybe local rebates with the power utility provider if the new unit has a heat pump, or just for being smaller and consuming less energy overall (spitballing ideas)
If you have a dehumidifier (bit spendy), you can put this in affected areas to help the problem from getting worse. For an attic, you can try placing it near a central air intake or exhaust inside of the house, like near vents or the furnace, to try and catch the airflow (if you put the central air furnace to ‘recirculate’). Changing your furnace filters monthly if you don't already should also help with air quality.
Mildew will stain, like the plywood and drywall in the attic, but if it’s dry, it shouldn’t grow. You can also spray surfaces in a diluted bleach solution to help manage it. Just a small bottle of plain bleach (none of those silly laundry kinds) and a spray bottle. An N95 respirator and long sleeve shirt/pants would be a good idea if you go into the attic, but mostly for fiberglass (if you don’t have blown insulation) and potential critter dust (mouse droppings, esp if you’re in a rural area, which I assume if you have a well)
A “hot attic” will be that (hot), but it shouldn’t be “humid”. If it is, it might be worthwhile to visually check your roof or attic and make sure the PO didn’t leave you with a crappy roof and soffit venting set-up, or that the vents weren’t block by wasps, critters, etc.
Sending the best vibes I can, from one broke Millennial to another
Gotta stick together to survive in this shitty capitalist hellscape
Bless you honestly. 🙏🥺 Thank you for this advice! I'm definitely going to use the bleach solution on the mold.. it's everywhere and all into my insulation.
Exactly everything you said is what the repair guy just told me lol that's exactly why there's mold. The previous owners installed a gigantic unit for whatever unknown reason. Unfortunately the AC unit is roughly 20 years old, so I can't trade it in for anything because all the parts and coolant supplies it uses are no longer on the market/viable. We were able to measure what kind of AC unit we'd need and the smaller unit brought the cost down from $13k to...$11.6k. So, not much, but still a little. (I've been considering asking for ko-fi donations since I'm honestly and truly desperate, but I first need to wrestle the part of my brain that doesn't allow me to ask for help first lol).
Thank you, anon, for your advice on this. It truly means a lot to me that you took the time to reach out! People like you make being a poor millennial a little bit easier. Seriously, bless you.

I’ve been thinking a lot about c!techno today and trying to sum up my feelings after techno’s passing. It’s been quite difficult because while I love techno to the moon and back I’ve been a c!techno anti for a long time. My massive hatred was mostly personal triggers with the situation with c!tommy but looking back…
I see redemption in him. I see a character who is stubborn, hypocritical, can be insensitive but who at the end of the day wants to do what he believes is right. Who loves people but doesn’t understand their point of view.
I see the love cc!techno put into his lore and I want to see it honoured. I want to see more art, fanfiction and out pour of love for something he created because that’s why he deserves
honestly above all else c!techno’s character to me was Fun. he was so much fun to watch, his character added sooo much energy into the narrative, his role was so unique and important i always looked forward to what he was going to do next. nobody else could play that role so well… techno was so funny and so smart and it really really transferred into his character and how much i loved it. his character inspired so much incredible art and his story made the smp so much more interesting and fun the story would be nowhere near as amazing as it was/is without him and his contributions
i hope at the very least in preserving his memory more people (like you! /pos) will be able to see his work on the smp for how amazing it was without those biases and grudges. he was so so cool and so much fun to watch

For the ask game, I'm curious about 6 & 8 in general, and 9 for By Cain's Own Hand. ~Dire Kumori
6. What character(s) do you find most difficult to write?
William, kinda? I have an idea of what I want William to be: a man obsessed with image and control, a man who must be in control or at least APPEAR to be in control at all times; a man who must be the one with the power in any situation; he loves his children but only as extensions of himself, his power, and his own accomplishments; a quick-minded manipulator who can both sit back and watch things play out and be the one pulling the strings the whole time. I just don't really know how to take that idea and make a believable person out of it yet. That's why he's been so "conveniently absent" in My Brother My Wound as of yet.
Buuut, I haven't actually written William yet, so he can't really be my answer, can he? So, I'd have to say Elizabeth. I have difficulty writing her because... well, to be honest, my whole Thing in fandom is "choose one character and completely obsess over them with everything I have" and that one character is very obviously Evan. For fnaf more than any other fandom I've been in, I usually care about characters other than my Comfort Character in terms of how they relate to my Comfort Character (my CC if you will, lmao). It's easy to care about Michael because his and Evan's stories are so hopelessly intertwined, but there's been no semblance or suggestion as to the kind of relationship Liz and Evan had/might have had in canon, as far as I'm aware. That gives me a sort of double whammy in terms of having difficulty writing Liz because 1) she's not clearly connected to Evan despite being his literal sister, and 2) I have no canon to draw ideas from in how to present their relationship even in the times when I WANT to write Liz. I have to rely heavily on other fanon interpretations of her character, which feels like stealing tbh. It's hard to be excited to write a character with a stolen personality.
8. Which fic or hc do you feel the most proud of?
Ack, asking to me to feel positive emotions about myself and my work? How cruel of you; I have too much anxiety for that :/ (<- complains about the ask game I myself created)
I'd have to say I'm the most proud of the Dire Consequences, Springlocked Mike, and Silent Protector aus, because 1) they were originally based completely on my own ideas rather than being tweaks of other people's aus, and 2) they've gotten so much attention from other people, oh my god. Literally everything from chaotic DMs at midnight to one-shots written at two in the morning to (multiple!) comics and fanarts. It's genuinely... so much (/pos). I'm literally just a Little Guy, yk?
9. What scene in BCOH took the longest to write, and why?
I'd say the hardest thing to write was the beginning sequence in chapter 2. It ended up being completely different in my hesitant outline.
I wanted that chapter to start with some of the anger Evan has been unknowingly feeling finally being unleashed. In my hesitant outline, I actually had the thing that pushes Evan over the edge written as Mike asking Evan about seeing Liz almost die to Circus Baby.
Before writing chapter two, I noticed that Evan and Mike actually have a bit of a parallel: in my version of the canon game timeline, Evan feels guilty for not being able to stop things when he watched Circus Baby kill Elizabeth, and Michael too feels guilty after he watches (well, is the contributing factor) in Evan dying to Fredbear.
At first, i wanted to make a reference to this parallel in the Nest Torn Empty verse. I wanted Mike to ask Evan in a fit of hopeless desperation how Evan could have possibly dealt with the guilt of almost watching Liz die to Circus Baby (not that Michael really believes Evan's "tall-tale" about Liz almost dying, but he knows Evan believes it) since Mike is having so much trouble dealing with Evan's almost-death himself. Only Evan misinterprets Mike's questioning as Michael making fun of him for being scared of the animatronics, and after almost dying to one at Michael's hands, Evan snaps.
This idea didn't work for... several reasons, and I ended up scrapping it entirely.
One reason is that yeah, this parallel exists, but I only noticed it because I'm a fic author/reader who was looking at Mike and Evan's stories as just that: a story. Michael wouldn't be looking at his and Ev's lives in the same way. Michael isn't introspective enough for that, especially not at this age. But the most obvious reason is that Liz ISN'T dead in this story, so Evan doesn't feel guilty about not being able to stop Liz's death. And, I don't know, something fundamental about the idea just didn't work.
I tried to think of another version of events that could make Evan upset enough to have him yell at Michael to leave. I couldn't really think of anything, though.
But, I did already have the Hell Scene (where Evan asks what Hell is like because some part of him thinks Mike wanted to send him there) already written out. The Hell Scene was one of those ideas I really liked but wasn't sure yet where to fit in the timeline, so I wrote it out while I still had the motivation and excitement to write it. I kinda thought that I wanted the Hell Scene to come later in the timeline while I was writing it. And I wanted to drag out the dynamic of Evan believing Michael wanted him dead and Michael being unaware of that detail for way longer by not having Evan mention the hell thing until sometime after the Stairs Scene.
But I decided to move the Hell Scene to the beginning of chapter 2, and then having Michael realize "wait, my little brother really thinks I wanted him dead" just seemed like it should naturally fall after the Stairs Scene, where Evan genuinely thinks Michael would have thrown him down the steps.
I think replacing the Circus Baby thing with the Hell Scene worked a lot better, although the hell thing was rather abrupt since I could no longer go back and plant seeds to foreshadow that Evan had been thinking about hell after moving the scene back so much in the timeline.

Speaking of Goretober, last year I drew a couple pics of my persona/self-insert to go with a speech sarcastically congratulating DS for getting what he wanted, before telling him what a POS he is, how LSS is so much better than him and how LSS being a copy didn't change didn't change my character's perception of him.
The speech is left incomplete in the drafting stage with a few unsorted pieces. What I put in writing was largely my character telling (or trying to tell) DS her perspective and basically calling him a POS.
I still have the draft and the pics. Would you like to see them?
>Yes!!! All of the art and asks you sent in during the 'Do-Over' event were so touching and I loved hearing everyones takes on the whole DS situation (all of you ripped him a new one and, while I had to stay in character and be dismissive of the excellent analysists y'all sent in, IRL I was like "OHOHOHO GET EM GET EM") >:3c
>While we're on the subject, I must also showcase this whump-tastic fic by @iamonlyatiger who also sent in a lot of fantastic asks during that event [CW: torture and gore, event spoilers (the fic takes place between days 23-25 of my 2021 goretober event)]
>Also huge shoutouts to @thegracelessfaceless @danuflowlove @nockfellaftermidnight @stormcellarwitch @calicovenus @soft-spirit-ren @rein-ygaia @mickie-mc and all the anons who've participated in my past goretober events ilysm 🥺💌
>Since the 2022 goretober event is just around the corner, I've been doing a lot of reflecting on 'the Do-Over'- I completely forgot about all the personal issues I was dealing with while writing it, which contributed to the post-event burnout and my failure to highlight the contributions people made to the story. I'll make it a priority post-goretober2022 to make a post highlighting any fanart/fics/etc. that people make for said event! ✅
>I'm thanking all of you retroactively and in advance for your participation- my goretober events wouldn't be a fraction of what they are/were without you guys helping to build the story, and I'm so grateful that you take the time to do it!!! I hope this year will be even more fun and entertaining for all of us (I've been working hard to make it happen)! 🤗💖💖💖

I think mother-daughter tension is a hallmark of many first gen family dynamics! It took me many years to even begin picking apart the tangles in my relationship with my mother and I'm still working on it. Thank you for your kind offer.
I think the vibe is not just this feeling of tension in the interpersonal relationships that is familiar in your writing. It's the way love is stored in the kitchen, and how there's a lot of intention in the relationships you write. I learned about stories through east asian media when I was a teenager and sometimes pick up on others who did too. For those people, longing even between people who are already close seems to be a common thread. Those media are also clearly deal with situations where duty and obligation must be dealt with before directly addressing interpersonal relationships, because outside situations affect those relationships.
I don't know if you also grew up stateside, but if you grow up in an individualistic cultures, that clash between parents and close family of older generations telling us to put obligations first and society saying to take care of what you want and need first and foremost (including parts of relationships) seems to emerge in a certain way among writers.
I have only read the Burden of Being and a few of your specials, but I felt that balance in Burden of Being especially. It had already been a hard week, but reading that sincerely made me tear up more than once because the main character's way of dealing with stress was and grief was so familiar. It was incredibly cathartic to see her emerge from that with the knowledge of her own resilience but also to have the chance at love returning.
Although it may not exactly explain the vibe, there was certainly something about it....
(sorry this is so long, but I love that piece and appreciated your reply. If you have any book recommendations I would love some!)
you clocked me so well. like i’m getting heebie jeebies (pos) bc i kinda feel naked rn lol. just bc i’m baffled you were able to get that from a couple of things i’ve written. hope you don’t mind me contributing more length with some of my thoughts
the collectivist and individualist clashing ideals is so true! one of the reasons why i love reading books by asian authors and specifically, asian immigrant authors is because of that conflict of identity. to be borne from a love that’s usually in tandem with guilt, obligation, and suffering but a desire for a sense of self is so conflicting on its own.
and i feel like you find that most in asian mother-daughter relationships. being a woman by itself requires sacrifice just by societal definition alone. and for asian women, a daughter is a mirror to their younger self, the idealized vision who can pursue all a mother’s dreamed of without the sacrifices she had to make.
and for you to find familiarity in the main character of the burden of being simply swells my heart. that fic was untouched for a very long time and part of that reason was because i didn’t know how to tackle her journey through grief. a lot of fics that i admire are able to send messages of growth and healing through therapy and i wanted to do that too. but it felt like a lie bc in my personal experience, it is not that easy to seek help in healthier ways.
i was afraid that by being honest, by showing this reader go through relapse after relapse and drink her troubles away, i’d be sending the wrong message and promoting poor habits. but i’m glad i did and that by finally telling a truth that i see often, i was able to finish the fic. and it makes me think i made the right choice when people tell me they were able to relate to it! learning lesson indeed on that one.
i forgot my password to my goodreads account so my recs list might be basic because i’m pulling them off the top of my head but!
Pachinko by Min Jin Lee literally changed my life and i always recommend it. It explores family dynamics across generations.
Crying in H Mart, On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous, and The Joy Luck Club are obvious contenders.
Speak, Okinawa by Elizabeth Miki Brina is an autobiography. It’s the author’s first published book I think so while I do find flaws like the lack of complexity in her storytelling/sentence structure, I found it still enjoyable to read.
The Girl With Seven Names: A North Korea Defector’s Story is an autobio that read more like a thriller with complex mother-daughter relationships.

Hi, lately I’ve been worrying about Wonho’s popularity. Fans stopped supporting him and his company doesn’t even try their best to support him. Would it be possible if you can do a reading on Wonho’s popularity? Will he have a chance to attract new fans and gain recognition he deserves as an artist?
Thank you 😊
Let's get straight into it anon, something just doesn't feel right about his situation. Current Popularity Energy- QoW, 9oW, PoS rev. Future Popularity Prospects- HM, Star rev, KoW, 2oC Overall: World, 10oW Currently he's not doing too bad, but it's definitely not the audience he wants. He has a drove of people who likely view him as an sex object/doll/something to look at, but don't care for much else about him. He's not taking it very well because he can't seem to make it stick and work for himself because something/someone, either him or his team, is dropping the ball. So moving on to how we can fix this. At the time of reading, in the future he can actually turn some things out for himself if he goes for the right audience. The audience is right in front of him, the international fans, those foreign to him. But he keeps trying to appeal to the wrong people in the wrong way and is going to likely continue to be rejected by them. He also needs to actually embrace and be himself, there's an energy of inauthenticity that's standing in his way, possibly related to self love/identity. Quite literally, at the time of reading he's likely going to stay where he's at or maybe lose more if he doesn't do what's probably been shown to him. It feels like he personally is also contributing to this futile attempting.

Pool Safety 101: Essential Tips for a Secure Swimming Environment
Tumblr media
As the summer heat intensifies, our thoughts naturally drift to the refreshing embrace of a swimming pool. However, with the joy of pool ownership comes a significant responsibility: ensuring the safety of everyone who takes a dip. This article offers valuable insights into making your pool area a haven of relaxation and a beacon of safety. Moreover, we introduce Westrock Pools as your ideal ally in achieving a pool environment that is both secure and visually appealing.
Establishing a Safe Perimeter
One of the most critical measures in pool safety is the installation of a sturdy fence. This barrier is the first defense against unsupervised access, particularly for children and pets who might wander close to the pool area. Westrock Pools stands out in offering various fencing options that promise robust security and contribute to the aesthetic charm of your outdoor space.
The Role of Pool Covers in Safety
When the pool is not in active use, covering it is a wise safety precaution. Pool covers act as a physical barrier, preventing accidental falls into the water. They are especially crucial for families with young children and pets. Westrock Pools excels in providing durable and user-friendly pool covers, ensuring that safety does not come at the expense of convenience.
Supervision: A Non-Negotiable Aspect of Pool Safety
The importance of constant supervision cannot be overstated. Children should never be left unattended near a pool. Assigning a responsible adult as the designated "watcher" can significantly reduce the risk of accidents. To augment your supervision efforts, Westrock Pools offers innovative safety features, including alarms and pool cameras, enhancing your peace of mind.
Educating the Young on Water Safety
Introducing children to swimming lessons early is a proactive step towards ensuring their safety. Skills such as floating and treading water are essential for their safety and confidence. Westrock Pools contributes to this educational journey with a selection of child-friendly pool accessories designed to make learning safe and fun.
Preparedness Through Safety Equipment
Having the proper safety equipment on hand is essential. This includes life jackets, rescue tools, and a well-stocked first-aid kit. Westrock Pools can guide you in selecting the appropriate safety gear to ensure your pool area is equipped to handle any situation.
The Lifesaving Skill of CPR
Knowledge of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is invaluable. In the event of an emergency, being proficient in this technique could save a life. This skill is a cornerstone of pool safety, underscoring the importance of preparedness.
Maintaining a Clutter-Free Pool Deck
A tidy pool deck is a safer pool deck. Removing toys, floats, and other items can prevent trips and falls. Westrock Pools offers insights into designing a pool area that prioritizes safety while maintaining aesthetic appeal.
Handling Pool Chemicals with Care
The chemicals used in pool maintenance are vital for water quality but must be stored securely to prevent accidental exposure, especially to children. Westrock Pools provides expert advice on safe chemical storage practices.

The Importance of Regular Electrical Maintenance: A Guide for Homeowners and Property Managers
In the world of property management and home ownership, few systems are as crucial yet as easily overlooked as the electrical system. While it’s easy to take electricity for granted, given its ubiquitous presence in our lives, regular electrical maintenance is paramount to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. This blog post will explore why electrical maintenance should be an integral part of your property management routine.
Safety First At the forefront of reasons to prioritize electrical maintenance is safety. Faulty electrical systems are a leading cause of house fires and can also lead to electrocution or electric shock incidents. Regular maintenance checks conducted by professional electricians can identify and rectify potential hazards like frayed wires, overloaded circuits, and faulty connections before they escalate into dangerous situations.
Preventive Measures Save Money An old adage says, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” and this couldn’t be truer regarding electrical systems. Preventive maintenance helps identify minor issues before they turn into major, costly repairs. For instance, a routine check could reveal a need for replacing an outdated component, significantly less expensive than dealing with the aftermath of that component failing, such as a power outage, appliance damage, or fire.
Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings A well-maintained electrical system operates more efficiently than one that’s been neglected. Over time, connections can loosen, and components can wear out, leading to a decrease in system efficiency. This inefficiency not only impacts your carbon footprint but also your utility bills. Regular maintenance ensures that your electrical system runs as efficiently as possible, helping to keep energy costs down and reduce your environmental impact.
Prolonging System Lifespan Just like any other aspect of a property, the electrical system has a finite lifespan. However, regular maintenance can significantly extend this lifespan. Ensuring that all components of the electrical system are in good working order can prevent undue stress on the system, prolonging the time before a complete overhaul or replacement is necessary.
Maintaining Property Value For homeowners and property managers alike, maintaining and even increasing the value of your property is always a priority. A well-maintained electrical system is a key selling point for any property. It shows potential buyers or renters that the property has been well cared for, which can contribute to maintaining or increasing its value.
How to Establish a Routine Electrical Maintenance Schedule Hire a Professional: Electrical work is not a DIY project. Hiring a licensed electrician ensures that the maintenance work is done safely and correctly.
Conduct Annual Inspections: Arrange for a professional electrician to conduct annual inspections of your property’s electrical system. This inspection can identify any potential issues that need to be addressed. Pay Attention to Warning Signs: Flickering lights, frequent circuit breaker trips, and burnt smells are all signs that something may be wrong with your electrical system. Don’t wait for your annual inspection if you notice these signs; contact an electrician immediately. Upgrade When Necessary: If your property is older, it may be worth investing in upgrades to the electrical system. This can include modernizing wiring, updating the service panel, or installing GFCI outlets in areas prone to moisture. Regular electrical maintenance is a critical aspect of managing any property, ensuring the safety of its inhabitants, and maintaining its value. By committing to routine checks and addressing issues promptly, homeowners and property managers can protect their investments while providing a safe, efficient, and reliable electrical system.
Remember, electricity is an incredible tool that powers our lives but demands respect through proper care and maintenance. Make electrical maintenance a priority in your property management routine to enjoy the benefits of a safe and efficient system for years to come.
For more information on electrical repair and maintenance services, or to schedule your next service visit, head over to usaElectricalRepairs.com. Our team of licensed professionals is ready to help ensure your electrical system is in top-notch condition.

Building a Comprehensive First-Aid Kit For Your Pets
Tumblr media
As pet owners, our furry companions bring immense joy and love into our lives. While we strive to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment, accidents and emergencies can happen when we least expect them. That's where the importance of having a well-equipped pet first-aid kit comes into play. Just like a first-aid kit for humans, a pet first-aid kit is an essential tool that can be a lifesaver in times of crisis.
Immediate Response in Emergencies: Accidents and injuries can occur at any time, and when they do, quick and appropriate action can make a significant difference. Having a pet first-aid kit readily available allows you to provide immediate care before seeking professional veterinary assistance. This can be crucial in situations where time is of the essence, such as stopping bleeding or addressing breathing difficulties.
Minimizing Severity of Injuries: A well-prepared first-aid kit enables you to address injuries promptly, preventing them from escalating into more severe conditions. Quick and effective intervention can minimize pain, reduce the risk of infection, and contribute to a smoother recovery process for your pet.
Peace of Mind for Pet Owners: Knowing that you have a well-stocked first-aid kit at your disposal can offer peace of mind to pet owners. It instills a sense of confidence and readiness, allowing you to respond calmly in the face of unexpected incidents. This assurance is particularly important when you're enjoying outdoor activities or traveling with your pet.
Essential for Natural Disasters and Emergencies: Natural disasters or emergencies, such as earthquakes, floods, or power outages, can disrupt regular access to veterinary care. In such situations, a pet first-aid kit becomes a lifeline. It equips you to handle basic medical needs until professional help becomes available or until you can safely transport your pet to a veterinary facility.
Customized Care for Specific Pets: Different pets may have unique health considerations, and a personalized first-aid kit allows you to cater to their specific needs. Whether you have a dog, cat, bird, or reptile, tailoring your first-aid kit ensures that you can address their distinct medical requirements.
Basics Of Pet First Aid: Recognizing And Responding To Common Injuries And Illnesses
Our pets are cherished members of our families, and their well-being is a top priority. Understanding the basics of pet first aid is a fundamental aspect of responsible pet ownership. In this guide, we'll explore the common injuries and illnesses that pets may encounter and equip you with essential knowledge on how to respond effectively.
Cuts and Wounds: Pets, especially those with an adventurous spirit, may occasionally suffer cuts and wounds. These injuries can occur from encounters with sharp objects, bites, or even during outdoor activities. In such cases:
Gently clean the wound with mild antiseptic and water.
Apply a sterile bandage or gauze to control bleeding.
Monitor for signs of infection, such as redness, swelling, or discharge.
Burns: Burns can result from contact with hot surfaces, liquids, or chemicals. If your pet experiences a burn:
Cool the affected area with running cold water for at least 5 minutes.
Avoid using ice or very cold water to prevent further damage.
Cover the burn with a clean, non-stick bandage.
Choking: Choking is a frightening situation that requires quick action. Signs of choking may include difficulty breathing, excessive pawing at the mouth, or a distressed expression. Here's what you can do:
Check for any visible objects in the mouth and remove them if possible.
Perform the Heimlich maneuver carefully, adjusting the technique based on your pet's size.
Seek veterinary attention even if the obstruction is cleared to ensure no lasting damage.
Poisoning: Pets can accidentally ingest toxic substances, ranging from household plants to certain foods and medications. If you suspect poisoning:
Contact your veterinarian or a pet poison helpline immediately.
Do not induce vomiting without professional guidance, as some substances can cause more harm on the way back up.
Keep a sample of the ingested material for identification.
Fractures and Sprains: Fractures and sprains can occur due to accidents, falls, or rough play. If you suspect your pet has a fracture or sprain:
Keep the pet as still as possible to prevent further injury.
Use a makeshift splint for fractures, and apply a cold compress to reduce swelling in sprains.
Transport your pet to the vet for a thorough examination.
Being familiar with the basics of pet first aid empowers you to respond promptly and effectively when your furry friend needs help. Remember, while these tips can be useful, professional veterinary care is crucial in any emergency. By staying informed and prepared, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of your beloved pet.
Essential Supplies For A Comprehensive Pet First-Aid Kit
Building a comprehensive pet first-aid kit is an essential aspect of responsible pet ownership. Having the right supplies on hand can make a significant difference in handling emergencies and providing immediate care to your furry friend. Here's a list of essential supplies for a well-rounded pet first-aid kit:
Sterile Gauze and Bandages:
Use sterile gauze pads for cleaning and dressing wounds.
Include self-adhering bandages to secure dressings in place without sticking to the fur.
Antiseptic Wipes or Solution:
Clean wounds and cuts with antiseptic wipes or a mild antiseptic solution.
Ensure the antiseptic is safe for pets and won't cause irritation.
Tweezers and Scissors:
Tweezers can be useful for removing splinters or small debris from your pet's skin.
Have scissors with rounded tips to safely cut bandages or trim fur around wounds.
Digital Thermometer:
A digital thermometer designed for pets is essential for monitoring their temperature.
The normal temperature for dogs and cats is around 101 to 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit.
Adhesive Tape:
Use adhesive tape to secure bandages in place.
Opt for tape that is easy to tear and won't irritate your pet's skin.
Hydrogen Peroxide:
Keep hydrogen peroxide on hand for cleaning wounds, but use it under the guidance of a veterinarian.
It can also be used to induce vomiting in case of certain poisonings, but this should be done only under professional advice.
Muzzle or Restraint Device:
A muzzle is important for preventing bites if your pet is in pain or distress.
Include a comfortable restraint device to keep your pet still during first aid procedures.
Pet-Friendly Pain Relievers:
Consult your veterinarian for pet-safe pain relievers to include in the kit.
Avoid using over-the-counter medications without professional guidance.
Emergency Contact Information:
Have a list of emergency contact numbers, including your veterinarian and a pet poison control hotline.
Include your pet's medical history and any relevant information.
Pet First-Aid Manual:
Keep a comprehensive pet first-aid manual in your kit to guide you through various emergencies.
Familiarize yourself with the manual beforehand for quick reference during stressful situations.
Remember to periodically check and update your pet's first-aid kit. Replace expired items, and ensure that all supplies are in good condition. Being well-prepared with a properly stocked pet first-aid kit can make a significant impact on your ability to respond effectively to unexpected situations and provide the best care for your furry companion.
Remember, a pet first-aid kit is not a static entity but an evolving necessity. Regularly check and update its contents, ensuring that all items are in good condition and within their expiration dates. Stay informed about new first-aid techniques and products, as knowledge is a dynamic tool in the realm of pet care. As you build and maintain your pet first-aid kit, you're not just collecting supplies; you're crafting a safety net for the ones who bring immeasurable joy to your life. In times of crisis, this kit becomes your ally, allowing you to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies.
By understanding the basics of pet first aid, recognizing common injuries and illnesses, and equipping yourself with a well-rounded first-aid kit, you're embracing the responsibility that comes with pet ownership. The love and care you provide extend beyond daily routines to moments of unforeseen challenges, solidifying the bond between you and your furry family members.
So, embark on this journey of preparedness, armed with knowledge and a meticulously curated first-aid kit. Your pets rely on you for their safety, and with the right tools at your disposal, you're not just a pet owner – you're a vigilant guardian, ready to face whatever comes your way. Here's to a safe and happy life with your beloved companions!

How to qualify for a family opportunity mortgage
Qualifying for a family opportunity mortgage requires meeting certain criteria set by lenders. Firstly, families must demonstrate that the home will be occupied by a qualified family member, such as an elderly parent or disabled adult child. Lenders may require documentation, such as medical records or statements from healthcare professionals, to confirm the need for the family member to live in the home.
Additionally, families must meet the standard eligibility requirements for obtaining a mortgage, including having a good credit score, sufficient income to cover the monthly mortgage payments, and a reasonable debt-to-income ratio. It is important to note that specific qualification criteria may vary among different lenders, so families should thoroughly research and compare options to find the best fit for their financial situation.
Finding the right family opportunity mortgage lender
Finding the right family opportunity mortgage lender is crucial to ensure a smooth and successful home buying process. Start by researching and comparing lenders that offer family opportunity mortgages. Look for lenders with experience in this type of mortgage program and a solid reputation in the industry.
Consider reaching out to local banks, credit unions, and mortgage brokers to inquire about their family opportunity mortgage offerings. Additionally, online resources and forums can provide valuable insights and recommendations from other families who have gone through a similar process.
When evaluating lenders, pay attention to factors such as interest rates, loan terms, closing costs, and customer service. These factors can greatly impact the overall cost and experience of obtaining a family opportunity mortgage. Request quotes and compare the offers from multiple lenders to ensure you are getting the best possible deal.
Factors to consider when choosing a family opportunity mortgage lender
Choosing the right family opportunity mortgage lender requires careful consideration of various factors. One of the key factors to consider is the interest rate offered by the lender. A lower interest rate can significantly reduce the overall cost of the mortgage, resulting in long-term savings for the family.
Another important factor is the loan term. Families should assess whether a shorter or longer loan term is more suitable for their financial situation. A shorter loan term may result in higher monthly payments but can lead to substantial savings on interest payments over the life of the loan.
Additionally, families should evaluate the lender’s reputation and customer service. Working with a lender who is responsive, transparent, and knowledgeable can make the entire mortgage process much smoother and less stressful.
