having read nearly all of the Jeeves short stories, it’s so funny to me that Bertie’s bisexuality manifests as casting a wide but shallow net at girls and a narrow but ridiculously deep net at men. He thinks girls are pretty on a reasonably frequent basis, and has tried to marry at least four women thus far (not counting the unwanted engagements), but when it doesn’t work out he’s over it in 24 hours. Meanwhile he shows absolutely no interest in and never gives flattering depictions of 99% of the men in his life, but will praise Jeeves to anyone who will listen, wax poetic about his appearance (and get defensive on his behalf about it when a child insults it), and is absolutely inconsolable when they are separated.

(also Bertie is in no way allosexual. he is canonically terrified at the thought of reproducing. and due to the narrow but deep net on the other end I don’t imagine he’s going around sleeping with loads of men, either. that man’s either demi as hell or just entirely ace)

I know lots of people are pointing out that Deku killing/letting Shigaraki/Tenko die is him failing to save the kid - and I agree - but technically he did save Shigaraki. He saved Shigaraki's heart. He made it there to Tenko, he held Tenko's hands, he provided relief. Freed him from his suffering; freed him from his anger and hatred (that wasn't actually at society, and shouldn't have been because AFO, but at himself for being born with Decay.)

Deku made Tenko feel better for a few moments and allowed Tenko to recall his origin and realize his deepest, core heroic desire - being a Hero for the outcasts, for the Villains. Which he did, for a few months, when he formed the League and gave them all a home. Deku gave Shigaraki/Tenko that moment of peace. That's the save.

Dying is just rightful retribution. Death is just the appropriate punishment. After being saved, Shigaraki needed to atone and pay for his crimes anyway. He helped defeated AFO and he died. He was saved, he atoned, and he died.

I call bullshit on all that, but that's me; I do think that is and will be the prevailing attitude of the majority of readers, especially in Japan.
