Hyunwoo was always on the calmer side. Easy to chat with, funny at random times, and levelheaded. It’s why Y/N fell in love with the man. Not only did he know how to make her laugh extremely hard when not even trying, but the man was sometimes in his own universe.

She had figured accepting his offer to join him and his groupmates for a night out would be enjoyable. After all, they were all collectively hilarious when given a proper chance, and having all seven of them in a room paired with alcohol was always a treat.

With a drink in her hand and the bar counter holding her up, she enjoyed the slight buzz as she watched Minhyuk and Jooheon take up the dance floor as if they were the only two. It was rather funny because, of course, they weren’t. They were somewhat oblivious that they were getting dirty looks from the crowd around them as their arms were thrown in the air, entirely off-beat for the song that was playing.

Y/N had known it would only be a matter of time before Hyunwoo would step in to calm them down and hopefully stop the encouraging shouts from Kihyun and Hyungwon.

Her eyes scanned the area, trying to look for her lover but to no avail. Glancing around, she noticed he had seemingly disappeared into the crowd. She wasn’t sure how long he had been gone or where he went. Pushing herself away from the bar, she did her best to try to find the male.

“Hello, beautiful,” The sudden voice whispered into her ear surprised her. Whipping her face around, she was greeted by a very drunken Hyunwoo. His brown eyes were laced with excitement, and what she could guess was some drive to get her. “You here alone?”

The question had her snort. This side of Monsta X’s leader was rare to see. Flirty and without a care in the world. Her smile was hard to hide as he waited patiently for her answer, just as he does when sober.

“We literally came here together, Hyunwoo.” Y/N snorted, watching as her lover’s face morphed into surprise.

“How do you know my name?” His shocked tone had the girl laughing even harder. He stared into space, trying to remember in his drunken daze if he had said anything to her about who he was. “I was staring at you all night. You’re so beautiful.”

The scene in front of her was hilarious. She enjoyed watching her lover jump from one thing to another in a few seconds.

“Are you perhaps single?” He questioned, scooting closer to her. With how close he was to her, she could smell the alcohol that laced his breath.

“I’m not.” She watched as his shoulders fell in defeat, “God, you are on another level when you’re drunk, Nunu. I love it. You’re my boyfriend.”

Watching his posture change the second he heard her say that he was her boyfriend, the look on his face became more smug, not unafraid to touch her.

“I knew that.” He waved his free hand aimlessly as his other one wrapped around her shoulder, “Just wanted to test you.”

She knew that he did, in fact, not know that. She snorted, glancing away from her partner.

“The room is spinning, but your face is pretty clear. You’re absolutely gorgeous.” Hyunwoo spoke up, gripping the bar to keep himself upright. “Can I get your number?”

She stayed silent, glancing at her lover and then back at the other intoxicated members. The smile that slowly inched her face caused Hyunwoo to grin triumphantly. She wasn’t sure how she would manage to watch seven grown drunken men, but she knew she could manage. After all, Hyunwoo could manage watching six of them.

For the third day in a row, you wake to the smell of bacon. Normally, you'd be happy to know your roommate wanted to cook, but your roommate hasn't been home since last week. Their friend-with-benefits, however, has been staying in your roommate's room the past few days, and, frankly, you're sick of him.

As you open your bedroom door, he greets you without even turning around. You stand at the counter and strike up a conversation, already showing your annoyance in your tone.

"Hey, Hyunwoo. Don't you ever go home?"

All you see is the smirk on his face before his lips attach themselves to yours. At first, you try pushing away, but you quickly melt into his impressive technique. Somehow, the kiss is soft and sensual, but also rough and forceful. Something about this being the first kiss you've had in a while makes you fall deeper into kissing the man you were just yelling at. The hands that were pushing him away curl up and grab onto his loose shirt. He brings his hands to your face, cupping it as he pokes his tongue into your mouth.

By the time he pulls away, you need to catch your breath. He looks your body up and down before picking you up and throwing your body onto his shoulder. You hit his back as he takes you into your room.

Kihyun

For someone who is called a mom a lot, he would be awkward. He panics too much until he was settled with (Y/n)'s child. Hyunjae would lead him around his boyfriend's own apartment because he was too stiff. (Y/n) laughed at him for being scared of a 5-year-old. Many times Kihyun wouldn't even be able to punish her, (Y/n) didn't even want to but he could see his flushed face after seeing her puppy eyes. Kihyun and Hyunjae loved cooking together, they would do it every time they could. Kihyun would let her mix and do everything that wasn't dangerous. Hyunjae could easily power the whole building with her smile when she cooked. They loved singing Disney and children's songs too. (Y/n) felt sorry for their neighbors but seeing Kihyun and his daughter dance and sing "into the unknown" from Frozen would never be something he apologizes for.

Hyungwon

He would be awkward around his boyfriend's girl, thankfully, she was quiet and reserved like him. Misoon was famous for being quiet around (Y/n)'s home. Changkyun would have the books he grew up and read them to Yunhee, with movies to. He'd find the Lion King and Nemo and having them playing all the time. He would often think that he was raising a human and what if he did something wrong, it would keep him up at night.

South Korea is a pretty safe country to be in, and Hoseok knew that. That’s probably why he had no problem going jogging at night when he couldn’t sleep. No music, just him and the outside world. 

When he went jogging, there wasn’t much outside his little bubble. Most people weren’t out at this time so it wasn’t much going outside his bubble anyway. But tonight, tonight was different, he could feel it.

As Hoseok was coming up on an alleyway, he heard groans and a lot of coughing. He peeked inside, mentally hoping the action wouldn’t get him in trouble and saw someone who clearly wasn’t having a good night.

It was a male on the ground, back leaned up on the wall who was gripping his side. If the lighting was good, and Hosoek’s eyes weren’t playing tricks on him, there was definitely blood in the surrounding area.

“Uh...Are you alright?” Hoseok called out as he crept closer to the man.

The man groaned, “No, I don’t think I am,” he replied not looking up from his lap.

“Do you... Do you want some help?” Hoseok asked, now standing pretty much beside the other. 

“If you would be so kind,” the other spoke him a smile on his face as he looked up to Hoseok before his eyes widened. “Woah, big guy.”

Hoseok’s neck flushed but didn’t say anything as a reply besides helping the man up on his feet with some difficulty. Despite would the man said to him, the other was pretty big and well built also, making the process harder. 

Able to get a better look at the man, Hoseok was able to see that he had a bruised lip, bruises on both sides of his face, as well as an eye that didn’t seem to open. That was only what he could see on the other’s face. 

“Can I get a name from you?”

“Y/n,” the male replied with a voice suddenly a lot deeper than it was before. “Yours?”

“Hoseok.”

You nodded, “Well, Hoseok, if anything happens, please don’t take me to a hospital.” Your eyes dropped a bit, “Actually,” your knees were beginning to give up on you, “just leave me here, I’ll figure myself out in the morning.”

The next day you woke up in an unfamiliar place on a couch. You went to quickly sit up but an unexpected loud groan of pain escaped your lips and you laid back down. Your rips were in pain, but they weren’t broken. 

“You’re awake, how are you feeling?” Hoseok questioned as he walked out of his bedroom.

You looked at him with narrow eyes and looked around for any potential weapons that he could hurt you with, or you could hurt him with if it worked in your favor. “Who the hell are you?” While it was a question, the tone in your voice sounded more like a demand to be answered, which caused Hoseok to tense up.

“Ho-Hoseok. Do you not remember anything from yesterday?”

“I remember plenty from yesterday,” you snapped back as you slowly got back up to not hurt yourself. “I just don’t know who you are supposed to be.” You then realized that you had covers on you and threw them off to the opposite side of the couch.

Hoseok paused, he didn’t know you for long and he barely had a conversation with you both yesterday and today but you were already different from how you were yesterday. Yesterday you seemed more playful despite the fact that you were beaten to hell. Today you seemed much more hostile and it made him wary if he should have bought you to his home not knowing who you were.

“I found you in an alleyway last night. You told me not to bring you to a hospital, but I couldn’t just leave you there so I took you to my apartment. I also wanted to make you breakfast but you didn’t wake up, plus it’s two PM now. Plus I realized I didn’t have any food to make since I don’t have a lot of groceries.” Hoseok explained taking a couple steps back from you to give you space.

“It’s two PM?” you whispered before quickly getting up, ignoring the pain in your chest and startling Hoseok who didn’t expect you to suddenly get up. “I have to get going. Thank you for what you did but don’t pick up random strangers on the street when you find them beaten that’s not safe,” you added as you rushed pass him. 

“Wait! I have to leave for class in a few minutes so I can show you out-”

The only reply Hoseok got was the door slamming shut from you making your quick getaway. Hoseok sighed, what just happened?

“Hoseok, I know you have a big heart but maybe you shouldn’t pick up random strangers,” Hyunwoo said as he stepped into Hoseok’s apartment. 

“If you think about it, it was kinda like a one night stand.”

“No, no it wasn’t,” Hyunwoo responded as he went to the fridge. “Ah, why do you almost have no food but plenty of beer?”

“I get to eat some things at the cafe I work at.”

“I’m sure that doesn’t get you full,” Hyunwoo replied but still took out two bottles of beer and began to open them. 

“It doesn’t but college costs a lot of money and I can’t waste it on food.”

“That is the worse thing I have ever heard you say. Kihyun wouldn’t be happy to hear that you aren’t eating properly,” he scolded as he made his way to Hoseok on the couch to hand him a drink. 

“I get my paycheck next week, please don’t say anything,” Hoseok pleaded. 

Before Hyunwoo could open his mouth, there was a knock at the door. “We just got here, were you expecting anyone?”

“No,” Hoseok responded as he got up and opened the door. He was surprised to see you, and even more surprised to see you with bags of groceries in your hands.

“Hi,” was all you said and Hyunwoo looked over Hoseok’s shoulder with his own confused face.
